| カスタマーレビュー: A Fantastic Styx Concert (2008-11-14) This is a wonderfull DVD i never get tried of waching it i love all the songs my favorites are Lady Suite Madame Blue Rocking the Paradise Show Me The Way Too much time On My Hands and The Best Of Times this is Styx With Dennis Deyoung as it should be nobody can sing like he can he has the most beutiful singing voice you can really hear it on Suite Madame Blue i get chills everytime i hear it thats why the new lineup is a total joke trying to replace Dennis,s voice with anyone else is like trying to replace the Mona Lisa with a picture of dogs playing poker! i would highly recommend this DVD to any true Styx fan that really love good music Great concert (2008-11-02) One of the best concerts produced on dvd. I bought the Caught in the Act dvd at the same time, and even though both dvds contain many of the same songs, Return to Paradise is by far the better concert. The band is in full force playing almost all its hits. It would have been nice if they had played one or two songs from Kilroy Was Here however.All in all, a great dvd for any Styx fan or 80's music fan in fact. Styx at Their Best (2008-09-20) I always thought that the Eagles were the American Beatles. However, I now think that Styx is battling them for that title. Three great songwriters and singers, great musicians all, diverse music and lyrics - I'm really impressed with these guys - Tommy Shaw and Dennis DeYoung, in particular. Too bad they split up. I hope they have a reuinion tour sometime soon.
good dvd (2008-08-28) good concert, they played all the big ones, and did a decent job of it.
 This is the one and only most perfect representation of the REAL Styx (2008-07-23) YOU MUST BUY THIS DVD IF YOU EVEN REMOTELY ENJOY THE ORIGINAL STYX. IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU !!!I attended the Omaha, NE portion of this tour in 1996, which was the last tour with all of the original remaining members of Styx - DeYoung, Shaw, Young, & Chuck Panozzo (John Panozzo had passed away only two weeks prior; their emotional tribute to him was overwhelming). This DVD has become almost an homage to the band that my husband and I had grown up listening to. This is the REAL Styx!!! We attended the newly put together band with the current lead singer, and it just isn't the same without DeYoung. You can't take someone THAT legendary and replace them and still call it STYX (i.e. Journey minus Steve Perry!!). This is the STYX for us diehard fans out there and is THE closest you will be to enjoying them live without being there. I truly hope they can bring this DVD to Blu-Ray as that would be the only thing that could improve this concert. Instead of seeing the current, or what we refer to as "PseudoStyx", we catch Dennis DeYoung in concert as much as we can. For a man who is now in his early 60s, he still has the pipes he had as a young man - just with gray hair now (but so do any of us who grew up with them!) Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling review! P.S. If you get the chance to see DeYoung in concert, TAKE IT - he usually performs most of the better known Styx songs with the local orchestra - it is phenomenal!!
