The 1983 film was shot one year after Cates won fame in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (thanks primarily to her little red bikini), and two years before Modine won rave reviews for his work in Vision Quest. While neither star gives a stellar performance in Private School, both are appealing and likeable, even with the ridiculous premise. Chris (Cates) attends an all-girls private school, while horndog Jim (Modine) matriculates at the nearby all-boys school. In order to get close to her, Jim and his friend dress up like girls and befriend Chris and her hot posse. When Chris' sexy rival Jordan (Betsy Russell) tries to woo Jim away by riding a horse, Lady Godiva style, the stage is set for a catfight. Throw in a guest appearance by Sylvia Kristel of Emmanuelle fame and double entendres abound. The soundtrack is full of songs by '80s staples such as Rick Springfield, Vanity Six, and Bow Wow Wow, whose "I Want Candy" is played throughout a peeping shower scene. | カスタマーレビュー: Private School Rocks! (2008-11-07) If you liked the movie "Fast Times At Ridgemont High", you shall definetley like this movie too, especially since this movie is a little similar to "Fast Times", plus "Private School" has quite a few of the same co-stars that were in "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" too, like Phoebe Cates and Raymond Walston for instance, except "Private School" is even dirtier with more nudity than "Fast Times" was, since "Private School" also contains a sexy nude scene with Phoebe Cates(Chris) and Matt Modine doing hubba hubba on the beach and a girls lockerroom shower scene with full frontal nudity with alot of T&A in it and a scene where Betsy Russell's tatas bounce up and down out in the field after Betsy Russell(Jordan) tries to bait Matt Modine(Jim), which by the way was quite hilarious.  The truth is, PRIVATE SCHOOL is a tad similar to FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, except PRIVATE SCHOOL is a dirty movie about guys trying to score with girls living at a private school instead of immature guys and gals at a public high like in FAST TIMES. Awesome (2008-07-27) This movie came in wonderful timing. The packaging kept it safe, and like new.
Private school (2008-06-06) The Ordering of the product was easy, and fast. The shipping of the product was timely. The movie arrived in good condition. The actual feature on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 4. It is basically a movie where Persons in there teens and twenties can see naked people. I found very little plot or story in this movie. It does hold some Comedy value making it some what entertaing.
 loads of stupid teen fun (2008-06-03) good movie for the teen movie's that came out in the 70's and 80's and it showed the environment we lived in and it is a fun movie to watch at partys
Funny 80s teen sex comedy! (2008-03-03) If you're a fan of 80s teen comedies you'll really enjoy this. It's not a well know film over this part of the work (UK and Ireland), in fact it doens't even have a DVD release over here. Heard about it in a book on 80s teen movies and thought it sounded good fun. Betsy Russell is the stand out in this. When describing her, the words "Hot Damn" come to mind a lot!
