(Hey! An air mattress that holds some air!) 『I have slept on a number of air mattresses of varying brands that become a queen-sized plastic area rug by morning. I thought there would be a better chance of not ending up on the floor if: 1) I got a really thick one, 2) I spent a little money.
It has an air chamber for both the sleeping area of the bed and the sides of the bed, which are slightly taller than the center to keep you from rolling off, I guess. I found that the sleeping area chamber held its air like a rock (a good rock, that is). The sides on the one I got seem to get a little more soft over time and need an extra shot of air here and there. This mattress inflates pretty quickly for having so much air volume. It deflates a bit slower, but still within five minutes. Folding it up and trying to fit it in the included bag is a little tough.
Overall a good purchase and I would recommend it to anyone sick of sleeping on the floor.』

We use them when guests sleep over and when we go camping. They are easily stored (they roll up). They still hold air very well after these couple of years. The pumps fill and remove air in about 5 minutes or so (that's fast enough for me). When fully inflated they can be quite firm. The two things I learned about air matrices is (1) if two people have to share one bed, one person's movements can effect the other person; (2) if the air in the house/ tent is cold, the air in the bed tends to get cold too, so you need to dress warmly. Overall, this is a great price for a product that held up well for me, and is convenient to use and store.』

(Best for the Money) 『I frequently have guests over and originally bought two coleman air mattresses several years ago, this was when airbeds were first becoming popular. The original airbeds I bought were about the same cost as this one ($50), but they weren't raised. I didn't have much luck with them. By morning my guests would be lying on the floor because they'd both slowly deflate. So, thinking ahead to the upcoming holiday season and the fact that I'll have overnight guests again in the near future I purchased this to replace one of my old ones. Based on the results I've had with it, I'll purchase another one soon.
I inflated it and left it filled for a week. During that time, I was on it as much as possible to see if it would deflate any.. it didn't. Also, I found it to be very comfortable, as comfortable as my 'real' bed. I can see many improvements in this airbed over my old coleman ones I purchased years ago:
+ the vinyl is thicker so it's less likely to be punctured + the valve has a double locking system so it doesn't leak air + the height makes it far easier to get out of in the morning (particularly for older guests) + the 'rolled storage' is more convenient and compact. It'll definitely take up less space in my closet!
I have used the more expensive Aerobeds in the past and in my opinion comfort is exactly the same as with this model (I mean, frankly it's all just air contained within a vinyl rectangle..). The main differences are that the Aerobed comes with a tote for storage and travel, and the Aerobed has a built in pump. Frankly I don't think those features are worth paying any extra $150 for. With this model you'll need to buy a pump. I bought one many years ago for $12 and it still works just fine. The air valve on this airbed is a universal size, so it'll work with any cheap electric pump you buy either on Amazon or at a sporting goods store.
However, just a note, that in my opinion, air beds (whatever brand) are not good options for long term, daily use.』

It worked great - my wife and I both thought it's the most comfortable air mattress we've ever slept on. It was firmer than other air mattresses and held its air very well, so it stayed firm and comfortable through the night, the most like a real bed of any inflatable mattress I've had. Because it's 2 mattresses thick, it's easy to get into and out of (important for my wife). Ours didn't have any leaking problems, and since I've had that with mattresses before, I blew it up a few days before camping and left it in the den, where my 2 year old son used it for a trampoline, and it isn't any worse for wear. My only suggestion is to make sure you have a power pump - it would be a real drag to have to inflate this with a foot or hand pump.』

I am now updating my review although I can't seem to change the rating from a 4 to a 1!! After the second use I noticed the top mattress deflated during the night, so I took them apart and only used the bottom mattress. After 2 more uses the bottom one completely deflated as well! I have tested both out to verify that they both leak. This product was a complete waste of money and I have now gone out and purchased the Aerobed that has a 3 year warrenty.』
