『I was surprised to see only one other review of this CD. "Water Colors" is Barden's magnum opus although he has other notable works. "Journey", "Yellowstone Blue", "Shape of the Rain", "Timepiece" and "Ghostwater" are great songs. And "De Profundis" is well, profound. If you buy a new stereo that really sounds good this is a great CD to listen to on it. Pete Barden's music falls into the "New Age" classification of music, at least that's where you'll find his works. "Water Colors" also sounds great at high volume. I rate this as one of the top new age CD's anyone's ever done.』

『I first heard this on 'Stone Trek", a weekend program on KLOS radio in LA. This was only one of the great songs that Greg Stone played during that time period. He has some wonderful insights into the progressive rock music of his time...

『I love movie theme music, especially action movies. The music on this CD is exactly like the music I heard in the theater. Wonderfully scored and mastered. You will love it!!!!』

『Let me start by saying that this is a great CD. If you have lowered your expectations at the sight of seeing "Pops Orchestra" on the cover, I beg you to reconsider. This isn't some thrown-together congregation of neophyte musicians, this is a glorious symphonic sound. I will go as far to say that most of the performed tracks on this CD are better than the original movie recordings. Also, Telarc, as I am learning more and more, seems to have mastered the art of recording and mastering the orchestra, as the quality of this CD is stellar, not to mention in surround sound!! This CD should be owned by anyone who is a fan of the symphonic film score.』

『I have to say I was a little skeptical about a Cd that claimed to have all these great soundtracks on one CD. After listening to it though i was amazed at how close it was to actually having each sound track. I was thankful that I had not bought all of these soundtracks. This is a must have.』

『As someone who loves electronic music and house, I've experienced and enjoyed a lot of styles of electronic music. But John Beltran has made me love the Latin-influenced house that he brings with every album. The complex rhythms improve on the standard 4/4 of "average" house and the instrumentation brings a sunny vibe that you can't help but dance to. Ever prolific, this is his second album in as many years. This album is phenomenal in both its scope and composition. Every track is a contribution, and they're all complementary. I got my version from Itunes - go make the boys at Apple happy, and get your music faster than it takes to nuke a hot dog.』
『John Beltran's "In Full Color" is his sixth album and he dives deeper into his latin roots but also brings the music full-circle integrating the ambient warmth and electronic sounds found on his first few albums. Beltran spent the time to make sure the album's tracks, whether it be full-on club tunes like "Kissed By The Sun" (described by XLR8R as a "sunny, conga-fueled samba shuffle") or "Candela" ("An absolute stormer!" exclaims Rainer Trüby), the more ambient passages like "Rain In Shibuya" and "Pictures And Indian Summer" or bossa tunes like "Dia Brioso," were as big and bold or as subtle and musically engaging as they could and should be.
