IPhone 3G used's review (Time Piece) 『Sophomore effort following strong debut Time And Chance was a proper title for Color Me Badd's second coming. Beginning this album off with "Intro (Ecclesiastes 9:11)" tied well with the album's concept and the first song, lead single and title track which was produced by rap producer DJ Pooh who also produces "Groovy Now" which is a groovy sexy crooning tune. These two songs alone arguably are the strength of this LP. Color Me Badd had their hands on the creativity of this album writing eight of the seventeen songs and either producing or co-producing seven of the seventeen. "Let Me Have It All" is a combination of pop and R&B with drum patterns of hip-hop/rap. With strong influence of an early Prince tune, "Rosanna's Little Sister" has a guitar that would be impossible to resist. "How Deep" follows the format for the popular boy band dance song. The vocals found on "In The Sunshine" resemble a George Michael feel good song with horns blowing feeling like a celebration to remember. The album quickly takes on a classic approach with "The Bells" and their rendition of "Wildflower" which shows the group's versatility and range to appeal. Time And Chance concludes with a more spiritual revelation with "God Is Love" and "Let Love Rule (God Is Love Outro)" which should have been an interlude within the album instead of concluding it with its acoustic light aura. CMB definitely has talent, but less filler would have made this a better collection of songs, but it is still a timely piece.』

(One of My all-time favorites!) 『Way back in 1992 I first listened to Color Me Badd and ever since I have loved their music! What I like about them is their great voices and the cool variety of music mixed in with an urban feel. My favorite singer of the band is Mark Calderon. He has such a wonderful voice and I love the songs that he has a good amount of time singing in. If you love Color Me Badd or love to hear a band that you are not familiar with then I strongly recommend that your purchase this CD today!』

Tracks such as the title song "Time and Chance", Choose, Rosanna's Little Sister, Close to Heaven and God is Love make this album what it is. Awesome listening! You won't be disappointed Time and Chance combines soft ballads with upbeat pop songs you can dance to for an unbeatable combination and a CD that no collection is complete without.

(CMB's Best Work) 『Without a doubt, this is Color Me Badd's top album. The songs on here are so powerful and moving, whether it be to make you get up and dance or to just sit and ponder life in general. I never listened to a cd that made me think of so many different aspects of my life before. "Close to Heaven" and "How Deep" are beautiful songs. I wish I can find a girl in that makes me feel the words in those songs. "Rosanna's Little Sister" has a good beat and brings up a typical scenario for guys - "What do you do when the girl you are dating has a hot younger sister that you are attracted to greatly and also likes you too?" "Choose" and "Time and Chance" round out the best songs. The other songs are good also, just not, in my opinion, as of the same quality of the five I have mentioned. Definite Buy.』

Their first effort, Secrets About the Stars, was fun and nostalgic (for those of us who love 80s British alternative music), but this EP is a breakthrough. With the help of producer John Ashton (guitarist for the Psychedelic Furs), Seven Color Sky has captured something special - that moment when lyrics and music and ambience coalesce into something greater than the parts. "Better Looking" is the best song I've heard in years, the best since another little-known (in the States, at least) but unbelievable band, Gene, stopped putting out heart-stopping songs. (Excellent EP) 『Greg Dulli and the Twilight Singers released some fantastic music with this album. The tunes are wonderful and Greg's voice is at it's best!』
(13 Minutes and 13 seconds) 『Is the running time of this three song EP a coincidence, or is it that former Afghan Whigs' frontman Greg Dulli seems to thrive on bad luck? Used as a precurser for The Twilight Singers' full-length opus, "Blackberry Belle", "Black Is the True Color..." is an excellent sampler of the Singers' "new sound" and departure from their "Twilight As Sung By..." sound. The difference isn't too drastic, but noticeable.
The track listing is as follows;
1. Black Is the Color of my True Love's Hair - This is a very cool song, almost sounds like a farewell to their previous album, "Twilight as Sung By...". Acoustic guitar, piano, subtle music that creeps up on you and turns into a soul-wrenching electric guitar masterpiece. 2. Domani - I love this track. It's definitely a preview of the overall sound of "Blackberry Belle". It's sweeping chorus and rock roots usher in a whole new sound for the Twilight Singers. 3. Son of the Morning Star - This danceable ditty is rich with sounds, builds into a grand crescendo of emotion into the end of an incredible disc.
