『The first time I heard this CD was in a YOGA class I recently started taking. I was immediately reduced to tears and taken to a place of joy and fullfillment . Did I mention I was the only "male" in the YOGA class?
My only complaint is that each track on the CD could be a full CD in itself. .
This CD isn't just for Yoga.. Its for Life ! !』

『One of the worst yoga videos I've ever seen. You would have thought they had to catch a plane judging by the speed they go through the poses. By the time you get into one pose, they are into the next one.』

『My husband and I have just begun to practice yoga together in the past month. I find the quality of Gaiam/Yoga Journal productions to be top notch, so I was looking forward to receiving this video. We LOVE it! Our only 'complaint' is we enjoyed it so much, we wish the practice was longer! Rodney Yee and his wife lead us thru a gentle and beautiful 'dance' of yoga. The gorgeous setting on a beach helps set a serene frame of mind. The married couple coach us to assist each other thru the poses, which we found very helpful. I especially like the sequences where we are directed to take turns assisting each other thru one side of a pose, then together with our right feet touching each other, we both go into the pose for the other side together. Lovely bonding time! Namaste. :)』

『The video was OK, but not as good as we hoped it would be. My husband and I are athletic, however, we felt rushed and un-coordinated while trying to follow this video.

First, there is not much time between different poses, so we constantly had to pause the video and figure out how to position our arms and legs correctly so we can feel that we are actually doing yoga (and not aerobics). It has improved slightly when we followed the video a few times, but it is still rather fast paced. And second, this video requires lots of floor space, so don't buy it unless you have at least 20 square feet of practice space.

I feel that my husband and I bond better while doing yoga moves independently than following this couple-oriented video.』

『This is a good buy for music lovers with eclectic tastes or who just like any relaxing soul-cleansing sounds. I put this on and it makes me smile just hearing the sheer love and spiritual passion.

It's listed as New Age music but it is definitely East Indian as well.

I bought this because I listened to the samples and just couldn't play them enough. Once I got the CD I was not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. The music was actually even better on the parts the sample didn't cover.』

(Great workout, lots of fun)

『This is a great CD set for those of us who hate routine treadmill or repetitive exercise. As a heart patient, I need to get in gear and really give myself a workout. So yesterday I did the workout and today I hurt in places I didn't know I had.

There is enough flexibility in the routine that using a little creativity you could get your child or other couch potato to work out with you.

Really liked the music and the pace of the instruction. Keep your water and towel nearby. You will need it throughout the CD. When it is over you are very sweaty and will have had an excellent workout!

『This CD for me didn't quite make the cut for chakra healing in comparison to other sound therapy and chakra balancing CDs that I own.

Halpern is a well-respected artist in the field with many years of experience and I don't discredit that he has a feel for what he is doing, however, I am disappointed with the musical composition of Chakra Suite.

The music on this CD is similar to beginner and intermediate finger warm-up exercises for keyboarding, basically consisting of climbing up the musical scale and back down again.

The music is relaxing to a degree for me, but also becomes annoying with the climbing up and down on the keyboard. As many times as I have tried to get through a meditation with this CD, I have always ended up shutting it off and switching to something else because of this.

Alternatively, as use for ambient music running in the background, the climbing up and down is still a distraction to me. The music is simple with single keystrokes moving at a slow rate. Add some more chords maybe?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for something complicated. It is, after all a sound therapy and healing CD, so simple works, but in this case for me, less is not more. One key at a time up and down the keyboard repeatedly is just really too minimalist for me.

I will be sticking with my other chakra balancing CDs and continue looking for others to add to my collection.

The "Tantra of Sound Harmonizer" by Jonathan Goldman is one of a few of my all-time favorites.』

I would recommend his works to anyone, who wants melodic background and healing tones when in the state of relaxation and/or meditation.』

『I didnt like this one to much. it was so computer synthasised and it screamed new age. I cant listen to this and meditate in peace. the pitches are to high and it desturbed my mind rather than being in the background. good if you like new age music. bad if you want to meditate with it. I chucked this one in the bin.』
