(It grows on you)
『I am a high school teacher, that being said, I decided on the last day of
school that as a treat we would watch a movie. I borrowed Napoleon Dynamite from my brothers vast DVD collection. I had no idea what the movie was about but my students told me it was funny. I looked it up on IMDB to see its rating. It is PG because of the word "piss" and a man selling breast enlargement pills. Pretty tame stuff in this day and age.

I watched it three times in one day. The first viewing I was confused...it did not seem that funny. The second and third time I watched it I just laughed and laughed through out the whole movie.

It grows on you, and you will find yourself laughing about lines from the movie at odd times through out your life.

I do recommend this movie. It is just SWEET, in every sense of the word.』

(not a comedy at all, but worth watching at least once)
『well, this movie was entertaning for me, meanwhile it was slow but not boring

if you are sick and tired of movies packed with special features, super heroes, and unrealisitic stories of wizards or aliens invading our planet, then this is the timne to give yourself a break and watch a movie of a nerd going to school in idaho

at least you can think this could really happen somewhere in real world,

If you haven't seen this movie yet, i would say give it a try, but don't expect anything extraordinary

hope it helped』

(*yawn*)
『Dull, boring, and not funny either. I did not care for this at all.
I liked the opening credits though. After that, it was all downhill.』

(ehh it was alright)
『i payed for express shipping and i got normal shipping. It skips a little in the middle but its not that bad. overall it was an alright purchase, but i might think about buying from someone else next time.』

(2.5Stars - just so-so)
『I have to say that my teenage boys like this movie a lot more than I do so maybe add some stars to this review if you're a teen.
The movie is an alleged comedy but the laughs and even the chuckles aren't easy to find here. The storys itself is a standard high school outcast story where the hero is a nerdy quiet and shy. As with most Hollywood stories about teens, the actors look way too old to even remember high school let alone be there. The lead actor Heder was 26, looked all of his 26 years and most of his costars appear to be better candidates for teachers than students.
Despite the lack of humor and the age issues, there is a very low key charm to the movie. Napoleon and his friends are likeable and you watch the movie to the end to see what happens (Not much). Give them some credit for appealing characters but the movie could have been much better if the charcters had some funny moments and more of a plot to work with. It's not a bad movie but it's not a very good one either.』

『Napoleon Dynamite is a new kind of hero, complete with a tight red 'fro, sweet moon boots, and skills that can?t be topped. Napoleon spends his days drawing mythical beasts, duking it out with his brother, Kip, and avoiding his scheming Uncle Rico. When two new friends enter Napoleon's life - shy Deb and mustachioed Pedro - the trio launches a campaign to elect Pedro for class president and make the student body?s wildest dreams come true. But if Pedro is to beat stuck-up Summer, Napoleon will have to unleash his secret weapon...』
『As deadpan comedies go,Napoleon Dynamitestands in a class all its own. Played by John Heder, the title character is (in the words of critic Roger Ebert) "the kind of nerd other nerds avoid," a mouth-breathing dweeb with a mangy nest of orange hair, and ungainly features that suggest a perpetual state of half-conscious depression. He lives in Preston, Idaho (former home of 24-year-old director Jared Hess) with his thrill-seeking grandma and 32-year-old brother, and his days at high school consist mostly of being abused or ignored by indifferent classmates. Napoleon's sad-sack story doesn't offer the scathing, impassioned humor ofWelcome to the Dollhousebecause Hess (who cowrote the nearly plotless screenplay with his wife, Jerusha) doesn't have an angst-ridden axe to grind. Instead, the comedy (which exists in a tacky universe of worn-out rural suburbia) is so low-key that some will find it difficult to laugh, while others (i.e., those who feel superior to Napoleon) will have plenty of fun at Napoleon's expense. The result is a curiously uneven film, hilarious at times, but hampered by its own sense of affectionate mockery. An audience favorite at the Sundance film festival,Napoleon Dynamitemay not be entirely lovable, but it's definitely unique.--Jeff Shannon

(Excellent Thriller/Action Movie)
『Definitely a rent, but not a keeper. This one's good the first time you see it and the second or third time showing it to friends, after that, meh'.』

(A Sean Connery movie?)
『I have say that this is one of the worse Sean Connery movie that I have ever watch.』

(Good Movie, Bad Wrap.)

This is not for fans of the comic book if you takes your comics to seriously. But I found the movie fun, adventerous and a good escape from reality. If you like sir sean connery, or just like to hear him talk its a good investment.』

(Incompetent)
『One of the most interesting and innovative comic books in the last twenty years reduced to a television level script and acting/directing that will be prime fodder for some future incarnation of Mystery Science Theatre. Has to be seen to understand how really awful it is. It's yet another example of Hollywood buying a popular property, then ditching everything that made it a success in the first place.』

(Sean Connery's Biggest Mistake)
『My brother asked me awhile ago if I ever saw a movie with Sean Connery I didn't like, after this movie the answer changed and I didn't like this movie at all. With I had never seen it. I know Sean Connery can act but in this it was just to much trash around for good acting to fix.』
『A hunter, a scientist, a vampire, an invisible man, an immortal, a spy, a beast?when a masked madman known as "The Fantom" threatens to launch global Armageddon, legendary adventurer Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery) commands a legion of superheroes, the likes of which mankind has never seen.

Now, despite fighting their own personal demons - and each other - they mush join forces to save the world. Sean Connery leads a stellar cast in this breathtaking, "thrill-a-minute" (Jeffrey Lyons, NBC-TV) extravaganza loaded with "eye-popping effects and amazing action!" (Bill Bregoli, Westwood One)』
『The heroes of 1899 are brought to life with the help of some expensive special effects inThe League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. From the pages of Victorian literature come Captain Nemo, Dr. Jekyll (and his alter ego Mr. Hyde), Dorian Gray, Tom Sawyer, an Invisible Man, Mina Harker (fromDracula), and the hunter Allan Quatermain (Sean Connery), all brought together to combat an evil megalomaniac out to conquer the world. Hardly an original plot, but perhaps that's fitting for a movie sewn together like Frankenstein's monster. The movie rushes from one frenetic battle to another, replacing sense with spectacle--Nemo's submarine rising from the water, a warehouse full of zeppelins bursting into flame, Venice collapsing into its own canals; flashy, dumb, and completely incoherent. Fans of the original comic book will be disappointed. Also featuring Peta Wilson, Shane West, Stuart Townsend, Richard Roxburgh, and Jason Flemyng.--Bret Fetzer

(This is the BEST!)
『I am huge fan of snowboard movies in general and this one was a great choice for release on the PSP. Travis Rice is amazing and they do a great job of transitioning from one segment to the next. I liked the Alaska segment the best.』

(Perfect Menu Design for this Action Packed Snowboarding UMD)

Other than this company, i have never seen a menu designed like this and i am telling you, absolutely, it is perfect for the psp--it looks like someone actually gave this some thought and designed it specifically for the PSP --』

(Not your average snowboard film)
『What a weird snowboarding film. I could hardly recognize any of the music at all except for two or 3 songs, but I think I liked all of it. Especially the cool beats that go with the Aspen Pipe segment. I probably watched that part 2 or 3 times in a row. After watching this movie I think Travis Rice might actually be a better snowboarder than Shaun White. This is not you r average snowboard film, and I suggest checking it out if you are looking for something a little different to watch on your PSP.』

『If ya wanna see who does and doesn't, watch this. Chances are you will learn something new.』

『Hot Beef flick. Only thing is they gotta show "Daz VS Kurupt" and "Kurupt VS DMX" and all those other beefs that never got really exposed. Overall, pretty good movie.』

(Good job, crazy days)
『Is it just me or is KRS One like that spoiled kid in the toy store? "I want attention." That dude will stop at nothing to get it. Now I understand why Nelly said "It's too obvious" that he was trying to get the spotlight. I used to think KRS was cool, but once I heard him ask his fans to boo Nelly and boycott Nelly's album, I lost a lot of respect for that due. Boycotts and disrespecting folks at their concerts should be reserved for those who deserve it--at least let them be doing something negative. That beef was like two third graders and one of 'em was saying "I don't like him, so you can't either!" Speaking of that, must Mack 10 always be a groupie. I GAINED respect for Dub-C for staying out of the beef with Cypress Hill. )Note: I'm sorry, but Cube's version was better than Cypress Hill's version. But regardless of that, Cube was DEAD WRONG and I hope he apologized.) As for the clowns vs. Eminem, that dude made himself look absolutely stupid with those shirts talking about "... look good in these." That dude sounded like he was on some heavy drugs the whole time he was being interviewed and I don't understand why Eminem even asked them to be at that party. I thought Eminem was right to respond the way he did--he put some nobody's on a cover to try to promote THEIR career and now they're mad 'cause they were stupid enough to turn 'em down. GET OUTTA HERE! *rolling my eyes* I enjoyed the "Roxanne" beef...I had no clue who she was until I watched that movie, but I'm so NOT MAD AT HER for going all the way to a PhD. Gone girl!』

(It's ok)
『This isn't as good as the first one but you still get some pretty good battles. The best one in my opinion is cypress hill vs. westside connection. Man that beef was vicious. Most of this dvd is about how bussines can turn former friends into bitter rivalries. You also see the roxanne battle, ice cube vs priority records, nelly vs. krs one and others. Well if you can find it at a video store and rent it first or find someone who has it and see it first before you buy it.』

("Beef 2" Review)
『The second entry in the "Beef" series follows with more in-depth explorations of classic feuds. This time, the beefs include D-12 vs. Royce Da 5'9, KRS-One vs. Nelly, DMX vs. K-Solo, LL Cool J vs. Canibus, Westside Connection vs. Cypress Hill, and plenty others. This time, it's hosted by Keith David. It's only drawback is the missing Eminem vs. Benzino segment which was removed from the retail version due to complaints filed by The Source magazine. If you enjoyed the first 'Beef", you'll want to see this one too. The interviews with KRS-One are worth it on their own. There's also a great story about Ice Cube going haywire in the Priority Records office.』

(stupid game)
『this is the worst game everyone has the same moves and it is way to hard to control the wrestlers there is only like 10 guys ...』

(There is so much old school stuff here)
『This game reminds me so much of those old WWF games back on the NES. You had limited movement, very limited moves, and basically less than accaptable storyline. However it's because of these things that makes this game so great.

In story mode it basically is an Austin vs McMahon thing. YOu are basically on your way to win the WWF title and in the process you ahve Vince McMahon getting in the way putting you against variouse characters and handicap matches, gauntlets and so on. It doesn't matter who you choose the story is always the same except the champ is whoever was their greatest rival (Austin vs Rock, Mandkind vs Big Show, Undertaker vs Kane) and so on. In the end after you win the title you are placed in a gauntlet for the title and in the end you face Vince.

So with two buttons how do you do your finisher, when the bar towards the center under your life bar is full, push select.

Overall this is an ok rent, and only for the msot dedicated WWF Fan. Stick with Fire Pro Wrestling.』

(Not as good you think)
『I spent [enough] on this game and it really it wasn't worth it. I can name alot of things why this game really isn't that good, mainly because holds very little information.
One, it only has 15 wrestlers, they only go side to side and if you move up or down, the
wrestler moves in that direction but will be facing sideways which looks really stupid.
Two, the ring is like a hundred ft. long. If you want to move to the other side of the ring to do something like a long jump off the turnbuckle you can do so but you will have no sight of your opponent.
Three, the wrestlers can't go out of the ring or get weapons. You can go outside but the only way to do so is if you get knocked out or if someone is alreay out, then you can get out and do whatever you want to but you only get ten seconds before you get called "count out" and lose the match.
Four, the cages matches in this game are okay but there is no ropes so you can't do any moves that consist throwing your opponent to the ropes in a cage match.
Five,There are no entrances when you play. There are entrances when you do a championship but thay are made up ones. There are not so bad but they don't have the entrance music which is something the people who made this game really could have put in.
Six, you can't make your own rules for the game. All the matches have the same boring rules.
Seven, there is a column for biogrophies about the wrestlers but it just tells about there stats and tells nothing about there life.
Eight, the graphics of the wrestler are really bad. I know its GAME BOY so not everything is perfect but the should have made people like the Undertaker, Kane , and Big Show a little bigger. I mean X-Pac is as big as them (everyone is the same size)and in real life he is a shrimp.
Regarding about all this the game is a little fun but after some time the game becomes boring. Believe me, SAVE YOUR MONEY, THIS GAME ISN'T WORTH WHAT YOU PAY FOR!』

『Unless the mention of names like "Stone Cold Steve Austin" and "The Rock" makes your eyes light up and your pulse rise, it's unlikely thatWWF Wrestlemania 2000will appeal to you. This officially licensed title features 15 World Wrestling Federation superstars and five modes of play, including WWF staples like the team-based survivor series and the tournament-style gauntlet mode. (Two-player mode is available via link cable.) Wrestlers can grapple in and out of the wrestling ring, as well as within the confines of the infamous chain-linked cage. Emcee Vince McMahon is around for added authenticity, although his and the wrestlers' trash-talk has been sanitized.

Making effective use of the Game Boy Color's graphics and sounds, THQ has done an admirable job of capturing the sensationalistic feel of the WWF, right down to the wrestlers' grandiose stage entrances. Unfortunately,WWF Wrestlemania 2000is marred by poor gameplay--the controls aren't very responsive, and mindless button-mashing gets you farther than it should.--Joe Hon

(yummy melodramatic adolescent goodness)
『I was 14 years old when Cruel Intentions came out, and to my middle-school sensibilities it was absolutely the sexiest, most dramatic, decadent movie I could imagine. Of course now, I can see it for what it is, but I don't really enjoy it any less. Cruel Intentions updates the story of Dangerous Liaisons into a modern Manhattan prep school, and the story translates remarkably well. The youthful cast acquit themselves remarkably well, hitting just the right notes of entitlement and self-doubt. The story is melodramatic, but sharply written, not too long and with just enough mocking self-awareness to keep from being to ridiculousely serious. Cruel Intentions is a teen movie that teeters on the edge of eroticism (i.e. a remarkably chaste lesbian kiss), allowing its target audience to emulate the characters in the way that matters most; by allowing them to play at being grown-ups, while never losing sight of their true immaturity and inexperience.』

(umd movie)
『i was very pleased with the quick delivery and the condition of the merchandise.』

(A Favorite From My Teen Years)
『"Cruel Intentions" fascinated me as a teenager. It was the first time I saw such a sexualized yet still passionately romantic story with such moral ambiguity on film. It was also the first time I saw a story of redemption aimed at my age group, and found myself really sympathizing with Sebastian's character. And even then, I recognized that the soundtrack was fantastic.

However, now looking at this movie as an adult with vastly more film-watching experience, I can't help but think I gave the movie a bit more credit than it deserved. Stylistically it's still stunning, but the writing and acting wasn't as good as I remembered. Many of the scenes from the beginning, all the way to the middle, of the movie fall flat. The infamous Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blaire kissing scene really feels contrived and gratuitous, and a lot of it just doesn't feel like it flows naturally. For the most part, Selma Blaire gives a really weak performance, but that is likely as much a fault of the script as it is her acting.

At this point, in watching the movie, I was scared that I was about to realize that one of my favorite movies from my teen years, in reality, sucks. However, something happened about half way through. The writing caught its stride, the story blossomed and, driven by the beautiful soundtrack, the main character of Sebastian goes through huge character moments that really, really worked well. And the climax and ending scene of the movie simply couldn't be better. Is it as good as I remembered? Certainly not. But it also really is still a strong movie that had a bit of an unbalanced and weak beginning through middle. The second half of the movie and the soundtrack (which is literally the best use of music I've seen in a film) totally make up for that. It's no longer one of my favorites, but I'd still watch it again.

7/10』

(Impressive! Feels like Gossip Girl the Movie.)
『I didn't expect much from this film. I just picked it out of curiosity, and to my surprise, I enjoyed this movie. It was better than I thought. I felt watching a movie version of Gossip Girl. I am always fascinated by high society, and with all that power, how it can affect one's life.

The movie does have subtle message, but for me, it was jut about learning the art of seduction. :)

Pretty cool.』

『This modern-day teen update ofLes Liaisons Dangereusessuffered at the hands of both critics and moviegoers thanks to its sumptuous ad campaign, which hyped the film as an arch, highly sexual, faux-serious drama (not unlike the successful, Oscar-nominatedDangerous Liaisons). In fact, this intermittently successful sudser plays like high comedy for its first two-thirds, as its two evil heroes, rich stepsiblings Kathryn (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Sebastian (Ryan Phillippe), blithely ruin lives and reputations with hearts as black as coal. Kathryn wants revenge on a boyfriend who dumped her, so she befriends his new intended, the gawky Cecile (Selma Blair), and gets Sebastian to deflower the innocent virgin. The meat of the game, though, lies in Sebastian's seduction of good girl Annette (a down-to-earth Reese Witherspoon), who's written a nationally published essay entitled "Why I Choose to Wait." If he fails, Kathryn gets his precious vintage convertible; if he wins, he gets Kathryn--in the sack. When the movie sticks to the merry ruination of Kathryn and Sebastian's pawns, it's highly enjoyable: Gellar in particular is a two-faced manipulator extraordinaire, and Phillippe, usually a black hole, manages some fun as a hipster Eurotrash stud. Most pleasantly surprising of all is Witherspoon, who puts a remarkably self-assured spin on a character usually considered vulnerable and tortured (see Michelle Pfeiffer inDangerous Liaisons). Unfortunately, writer-director Roger Kumble undermines everything he's built up with a false ending that's true to neither the reconceived characters nor the original story--revenge is a dish best served cold, not cooked up with unnecessary plot twists.--Mark Englehart

『I have a Game Boy Color and bought this a few months ago. It's great when my batteries are new. But when batteries are almost out of energy, don't use this. I put it in the middle of a game. Batteries not so good. The power indicator light was alot dimmer. I take it out, it's back to normal. Other than a glare also, it's great since the Game Boy doesn't have a backlit screen like the Sega Game Gear. Highly recommended.』

(I'm not sure how this light is supposed to help.)
『I bought this light in hopes that it would make my gameboy color easier to play in dim light. No such luck. I really don't understand how this light is supposed to do anything. It just adds a nice glare to the screen. The only way a light would work is if the system had a back light, or if there was an accessory to do this (highly unlikely). I would just save your money and stand near a very bright light when playing your gameboy.』

(DO NOT BUY A WORM LIGHT)
『Save yourself the trouble of having to return it. The worm light puts out very little light, and you have to try to position it so the light doesn't just reflect off the screen. The price is right, but these lights wear out very quickly. You would be much better off buying a light magnifier for your system.』

(Cool idea)
『The idea behind the Worm Light is great. Nice to be able to drive and not have someone whining for the lights to go on so they can play their Duels. The problem that have noticed is that the battery life is severly shortened, and they were not that great to begin with. Have to keep a package of batteries in my glove compartment. Otherwise, both myself and my daughter enjoy it. She gets to ride in the car and duel, I get to drive without the risk of overhead light glare.』

(THIS IS THE BEST NOT)
『It blocks most of the game so you can hardly see it now who would want ... that! It also drains the battery life so if you use a GBP (gameboypocket)it will run out in like 20 minutes!!!!!If your playing a game like Mario land or kirby you would probley die quick!!!!!!!!!
Don't get this I beg you!!』

『Revolutionary patented "white light" source. No batteries required! Compact adjustable design. Lifetime light source never needs replacement. Ideal for play in low-light and travel conditions. Attach WormLight plug to the link port, turn on Game Boy Color (or Game Boy Pocket), and gently adjust the WormLight for the best view and lighting angle!』
