(I never thought EA could make such an exciting game! But they did!!!!!!!!) 『This is a great instalment from movie to game. The fun is endless. With five characters and over 100 levels(yes it's true) no wonder I was tempted. It's a 3D style game and it has so much to entertain. With enemies ranging from the numerous goblins (who always attack in numbers) to the ferocious uruk-hai. It takes in the Fellowship of the Ring and The two towers. So you will be able to reinact some of the memorable moments of the first film as well such as The Battle of Balins Tomb and the breaking of the fellowship at Amon Hen. All throughout the game you will just have to hack n slash your way through reams of enemies as you find your way through lavishly detailed levels. The gameplay itself is great and the extra skills you have help to juice it up big time. The boss fights and the major battles are a true aspect of this game. The fight with the cave troll is great fun and then Gandalf gets to fight the Balrog in the depths of Moria. That was a feature that the PS2 game failed to deliver. The battle of the Helms Deep featured some my most exciting levels in the game. Defending the walls from being overrun and protecting the breach from uruk-hai was just like watching the film and being in it. Thumbs-up to EA for a great game the size of nothing(the cartridge i mean). And another thing this game started me off getting really into Lord of the Rings. I knew nothing about it beforehand. I would most definetly recommend this game to any gamer. It's definetly worth it. The Return of the King game is even better than this I'll have you know. And we won't be too harsh on EA for making the goblins look and sound like evil monkeys. Bye』

This game has a total of 5 selectable players from the movie and they all play and have abilities similiar to their onscreen characters. Legolas rocks with the bow, Aragorn can swing two swords like nobody else, and Gandalf can cook up some orc stew with his magic.
The settings and levels are also very close to the movie and the ingame cut scenes look superb. The game looks very nice as a whole even though a lot of areas look so similiar.
If you enjoy a Zelda type game, or Diablo for the computer, then youll absolutely love this game. It offers tons of gameplay, difficulties, characters, settings, weapons, and spells and will keep you hacking and slashing baddies for a long time.』

The graphics are moderate and the sound is ok, but the gameplay is just boring. The password season thing is horrible, as you have to remember a 15 letter password that changes each time you play a game just to get into a season.
The computer version had great graphics, gameplay, and moderate sound. The game boy color version has poor gameplay, moderate sound, and moderate if not poor graphics.
The players are a bunch of little square like images with little bumps for helmets. The controls are ok, but still this game could have had so much more depth. EA Sports spent too much time on plays and not enough time on everything else. The phisics in this game are strange, and you cant always tell where the ball is going. The player and teams don't matter much, as you can score and do pretty much everything with any player.
The sound is moderate, but it is not played during the game. The opening screen and other places where the sound is played are also designed well, unlike the actual game. The tune can be a little catchy, and the sound effects arent bad. Still, the sound doesnt add up to much.
The game is not very well built at all. It is very boring to play a whole season, because you cant really save in the middle of a game. The games, even when set to 5 minute quarters, last over an hour. The gameplay is exactly the same each time, with you being either blown out or winning by over 50. It can be really boring to play a 16 game season plus playoffs when each game is the same. The game play is so boring, i couldnt get past the first game.
The password part is also horrible. Why should you have to type up a 15 letter password to enter your game when other games yet you go in for free? It takes forever to write it down, remeber where you put it, and enter it in. I dont see why they cant let you save in the middle in the game. If they did that i would love the game.』

I love the one about the race, when Ash rides Ponyta and it evolves into Rapidash. Lara was a great characetr and the episode itself was funny and exciting. The first episode is great as well; we ffinally learn that Psyduck is not a useless Pokemon. And it's fun as well.
However the last episode . . .
I know it's emotional and supposed to be sad, but I'm sorry, while watching "The Kangaskhan Kid" I was laughing. I mean, the parents are flying over a jungle when the father lets his son "have a closer look". Btw the father, even though he was kind of funny, was quite possibly the worst character in the series. I hated him. He was a complete idiot. If I were the mother I would have divorced him; I mean he DROPPED HIS CHILD INTO A FOREST AND WASN'T EVEN WORRIED! Ugh! I wasn't too crazy about the mom eithe, but her frustration towards the father was completely understandable. This episode was supposed to be sda, but really it's stupid and I HATE THE FATHER!!!!!
However, the first two were really great. Classic episodes.』

And naturally, Team Rocket has to butt in, with their most outrageous entrance yet. Then it's off to the Safari Zone in "The Pokemon Flame-athon". In this five star episode, the gang meets Lara Laramie, who is a member of the Laramie family who breed powerful Pokemon. She has her heart set on winning the annual Pokemon race the next day, with her faithful Ponyta. But disaster falls upon her, thanks to her rival Dario and Team Rocket, and she breaks her arm, unable race. Ash volunteers to help her out, but there's one slight problem... he's never ridden a horse before! Can Ash and Ponyta beat Dario? And what other tricks does Team Rocket have up their sleeve? Finally, comes one of the worst episodes of Pokemon ever made. "The Kangaskhan Kid" is a huge, unmanageable mess. In the Safari Zone, Ash and company come across a couple searching for their child they lost several years ago, who has lived among the Kangaskhan and become the Kangaskhan Kid. This episode was very, very bad. The dialouge made no sense, and the animation was stiff and mechanical, unlike the smooth animation of the previous two eps. Fortunately, this episode is at the end, so you can just shut off the DVD after "The Pokemon Flame-Athon" Despite the addition of this horrible episode, the other two are well worth the purchase with terrific animation and well-told stories.』

A triumphant homecoming for the Griffins,Stewie Griffinis not so much a movie as it is a not-yet-aired three-episode story arc enhanced with a home-video-exclusive "red carpet premiere" prologue and an epilogue (capped, of course, with a fart joke).Family Guy'sresurrection is a television miracle, and its creators have rewarded the faithful by picking up right where they left off, offending any and all sensibilities (recasting Jesus as comic magician Art Metrano), dissing the celebrity disenfranchised (Ellen Cleghorne references, anyone?), and generally taking potshots at anyone on their enemies list (Stewie breaks the neck of a reporter forEntertainment Weekly, the magazine that once calledFamily Guy"the Awful Show They Just Keep Putting on the Air").The Untold Story!is a star vehicle forFamily Guy's breakout character, in which the mega maniacal and matricidal infant has a Grinch-like change of heart after a near-death experience (and a disturbing encounter with Steve Allen in Hell) and, more life-altering, discovers a football-pated man who could be his father (the truth is more shocking!). As go the gags, so goesFamily Guy, and there are enough good ones here to compensate for the many misfires. The Miller-esque (as in Dennis) penchant for channeling arcane pop culture can grow tiresome. But for those who remember the words to theWho's the Bosstheme song, know (or still care) who Steve Bartman is, and are always up for "a sexy party," this will be the greatest story ever untold.--Donald Liebenson
