IPhone 3G used's review (Good, not for low battery power) 『I have a Game Boy Color and bought this a few months ago. It's great when my batteries are new. But when batteries are almost out of energy, don't use this. I put it in the middle of a game. Batteries not so good. The power indicator light was alot dimmer. I take it out, it's back to normal. Other than a glare also, it's great since the Game Boy doesn't have a backlit screen like the Sega Game Gear. Highly recommended.』
(I'm not sure how this light is supposed to help.) 『I bought this light in hopes that it would make my gameboy color easier to play in dim light. No such luck. I really don't understand how this light is supposed to do anything. It just adds a nice glare to the screen. The only way a light would work is if the system had a back light, or if there was an accessory to do this (highly unlikely). I would just save your money and stand near a very bright light when playing your gameboy.』
(DO NOT BUY A WORM LIGHT) 『Save yourself the trouble of having to return it. The worm light puts out very little light, and you have to try to position it so the light doesn't just reflect off the screen. The price is right, but these lights wear out very quickly. You would be much better off buying a light magnifier for your system.』
(Cool idea) 『The idea behind the Worm Light is great. Nice to be able to drive and not have someone whining for the lights to go on so they can play their Duels. The problem that have noticed is that the battery life is severly shortened, and they were not that great to begin with. Have to keep a package of batteries in my glove compartment. Otherwise, both myself and my daughter enjoy it. She gets to ride in the car and duel, I get to drive without the risk of overhead light glare.』
(THIS IS THE BEST NOT) 『It blocks most of the game so you can hardly see it now who would want ... that! It also drains the battery life so if you use a GBP (gameboypocket)it will run out in like 20 minutes!!!!!If your playing a game like Mario land or kirby you would probley die quick!!!!!!!!! Don't get this I beg you!!』 『Revolutionary patented "white light" source. No batteries required! Compact adjustable design. Lifetime light source never needs replacement. Ideal for play in low-light and travel conditions. Attach WormLight plug to the link port, turn on Game Boy Color (or Game Boy Pocket), and gently adjust the WormLight for the best view and lighting angle!』

IPhone 3G used's review (Good stuff) 『If you've ever played this game before, then you know what to expect. So to you folks, it's just what you think it's going to be like! For those who have never played Rampart it goes a little like this: Build city walls around castles to stay alive and gain more points. Then place cannons. Then prepare for a frenzied round of battle! After the round, you do it all over again! I'm not sure when or how you win, but you just do. Even though it sounds simple, it's quite entertaining. I cannot play for more than a half hour or so at a time because it just gets too difficult. When it says GAME OVER, you just feel like you need a break. That, however, doesn't stop me from playing again later. Overall, the simple tetris like strategy for adults and blow em up to bits action for the kids make this a game everyone can enjoy.』
(If you liked the arcade game...) 『I haven't seen any port to Gameboy that so matched the arcade game as well as this one. I rented the game, expecting the worst, and am so pleased I'm buying a copy. Even the shouting voice telling you to "Surround Castle to Stay Alive!" is right where it 'sposed to be. Sure the graphics are small, and that direction pad is nothing like the trackball of the original, but the gameplay is just right. If you're like me, and still think the best arcade games are gone -- shucks, I dated my wife by dropping quarters together in arcade machines -- but you somehow have two or three gameboys sitting around when the little rugrats are asleep, I think you'll be happy with this game.』
(Warning: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME) 『Please do yourself a favor and exit this page right now. This game is the worst game on gameboy. There is no point to this game beyond the simple arcade bit. ...』
(So addictive!) 『This game is a blast! You get some cannons, you get a castle and then the boats attack. After a timed period of battle where you are trying to sink ships while they are trying to knock down your castle walls, you get a chance to rebuild, but you have to do it fast. This is one great strategy game. It's not good for little kids, but adults won't be able to put it down!』
(Straight port of Classic Arcade Game) 『NOTHING extra, just the game that used to cost a quarter. The Graphics were made for a big screen and don't translate well to such a small screen. If you played the arcade version this will disappoint you.』 『Rampartis an arcade classic that, unfortunately, doesn't come across well on the Game Boy Color. The object of the game is to take over castles by encasing them with circular walls. You will also need to defend your possessions by firing cannons at invaders. Each combat phase is followed by a rebuilding phase. As you catch more castles, you are able to accumulate more cannons to help you better fend off the ever-increasing foes. It's a fun game in theory, but the execution of the graphics in the Game Boy Color version detracts from the playability. Everything is tiny, ill defined, and lacking in detail. The graphics aren't the only downside to this conversion--controls also suffer. The arcade version had a great roller-ball controller that allowed for the perfect combination of speed and precision. The Game Boy Color's small gamepad just can't compete, and the pint-sized targets compound the problem. With such poor controls, it takes an inordinate amount of practice and patience to master this game, and many gamers may give up in frustration beforeRampartbecomes fun. Play the two-player mode if possible, which is much more fun than the single-player version.--T. Byrl Baker Pros:
- Classic gameplay is intact
- Very challenging
Cons:
- Bad controls
- Minimal graphics

IPhone 3G used's review (needs better directions) 『We bought this game and gameboy for our 8 year old. He was fustrated for the first couple of days. The directions for this game don't say now to select a game. (It only says, turn gameboy off, insert game, turn gameboy on.) It says that checkers can be 1 or 2 players, put doesn't tell you how (do you link 2 gameboys together or can the 2 player version be played on a single gameboy?). It doesn't tell you how to double jump in checkers. It doesn't tell you how to play the peg games, just that 1 or 2 peg holes are empty and doesn't say how to move a peg.』
(Baby game) 『this game is not fun at all. maybe it is fun for children 6 and down. i think that little animal charicters telling you if you won or lost is very dumb.the 4 types of games are peg, board, paper, and puzzle. if i were you i would save my money and buy a differnt game』 『Remember the days when handheld gaming meant holding a pencil and piece of paper? This collection offers four types of games: peg, board, paper, and puzzle. They include hangman, ticktacktoe, dot boxes, triangles, snake, color snakes, scramble, move it, and checkers. Play against the machine, or link up with the separately sold Game Link cable and play against a friend's copy of the game. The controls are simple enough to be understood even by those who have never used a Game Boy before.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Extremely fun, but very simple to beat) 『Knockout Kings is an extrememly fun game for about an hour. That's how long it took me to beat. In career mode, you can choose a name for your fighter, design your fighter, and choose his class (heavy-weight, light-weight). The first time you play this game, it's a bit challenging, but after a couple of fights it gets easier and easier. The part I hate most about this game is that all you have to do to win the fight is press 'B'. Oddly, I stil find this game very fun to play because of it's great graphics and up close and in the action fighting. I would recommend this as a first Gameboy Color game to kids 6-9 that aren't very aware on how to play a Gameboy. However, if you are an experienced gamer, Knockout Kings is definitely not for you.』
(Fun, but quickly beaten.) 『I greatly enjoyed this game when I first bought it. The trouble is that it is easy to beat, and quickly gets boring. If you don't mind playing the same thing over and over, this is a great game. Otherwise, I would recommend renting, not buying this game.』
(the next level of boxing games is here) 『this game is definitely great...i am the greatest fighter in the history of this game, bring anyone on, bring it on, so start practicing and email me and lets fight........001』
(Slugfesterific) 『This game is one of the best Game Boy Color games ever. My favorite part is that you can kind of create your own player. It's very fun using all of your special moves too. I suggest this game to anyone even if you don't know anything about boxing. I didn't and now I'm a huge fan. The only thing is with a couple hours of spare time it's pretty easy to beat. But its not frusterating not boring. It's just all around fun. So get it and have a slugfesterific time.』

For some quick action, choose any two boxers and enter an Arcade match. Arcade matches are less realistic and can result in quick knockouts. However, you can also choose to play in a simulation Exhibition match, where you must master ring strategies and wear down your opponent. IPhone 3G used's review (Fun, but no Mario Golf) 『Out of the three main Golf games I've tried out on Gameboy, Mario Golf, Hole in One, and Golf, I consider this one middle-ground. Hole in One Golf will work on either the GB Color, or the Pocket or Original, so if you don't have a Color yet, this one is an immediate pick over Mario. The game includes three courses of varying difficulty, with graphic quality ranging from fairly nice for the overhead course images, to fairly lousy for the side-view of your player hitting the ball. The play system is different that most other golf games I've seen and can take a little getting used to. The strength of the swing is determined by an arrow moving back and forth on a bar indicating how strong the hit will be, and you have to press the button when the arrow is at the strengh you want. Then an icon moves in a pattern over a picture of a golf ball, which you have to press a button on when it's on the location on the ball where you want to hit. Another deviation from most other games in the play moves left-to-right, rather than vertically. It's a little different, but doesn't take long to get used to. My only real gripe about the controls of the game is that when you go to hit the ball, it switches full-screen to an image of your golfer - you can no longer see the course, so if you didn't pay close attention to your distance from the hole it's easy to misjudge how much power you need in your swing. One odd feature of this game is the inclusion of "events," which basically means some character running out on the course and tossing your ball around this way or that. I suppose it adds an interesting twist to the game, but personally I just find it annoying and am glad it can be turned off. There is also a "tour" play mode, which allows you to see how you rank against other players on a roster. Also included is multi-player support via data cable. In a nutshell, if you have a Gameboy Color, I'd highly suggest spending a few more dollars on Mario Golf, it's a much better game. However, if you have one of the older systems, Hole in One has the fun of some nice graphics for the courses, multiple courses, close-ups of the hole as the ball goes in, and other nice things like that, even though the gameplay is a bit quirky. Owners of an Original or Pocket gameboy that would like a game that is a bit more realistic and challenging, although somewhat ugly, should look into the orininal Golf.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Good, but soooooo unrealistic) 『Ok, its fun, and like the only gameboy game i play. But its not like real snowboarding at all. You can't ride switch for more than one second on the courses, and in the pipe, you cant land switch. When u land, u just suddenly are riding regular again. And the music is awful, and theres no rails. I know i make it sound awful, but if u want some fun, go 4 it.』
(Just Ok, but not bad.) 『This game is better than SHAUN PALMER'S PRO SNOWBOARDER. The graphics pack more detail, and the courses have a better design. However, for an MTV game, there is very little music that is actually audible. The game is ok, but is not all that it could be.』 『Get out the Game Boy Color and prepare to do rodeo flips and Indy grabs in MTV SPORTS: Pure Ride. Choose from four different snowboards and four different riders, and then hit the Training mode to learn the controls and how each event works. IPhone 3G used's review (Awesome Game) 『This is a great game! The tricks are cool and the animation isn't crappy. They made a good choice with the games, and the competitions vary. The competitors are unique. I give this a 5 out of 5』
(Xtreme Game Boy Color Action) 『Fun is what this game is all about! There is a contest being held by a major soft drink company and you must defeat several people to win the contest! The action includes roller blading, surfing, skateboarding, sky surfing, and other sports. Their is a small RPG mode for the game, but that is just walking around gathering information and to challebge opponents. The sports action is a side-scrolling journey where you have to match or beat your opponents time, tricks, and collected flags. If you beat your opponent you will receive a medal and that person will sit down indicating that you have beaten them! The remaining challengers will remain standing. Xtreme sports is indeed xtreme!』
(The Hottest Gameboy Game) 『This game was totally awesome. It is not like any of those "Beat-it-in-10 minutes" kind of game. I like the challenge and the grahics. Winning the medels is hard, but fun to try to get. I am still about a quarter way through the game, and had it for a while. It may take long to beat, but is definetly worth the buy. It is full of great ideas, and I congratulate the makers for this great game. I would recommend this to everyone.』
(Great for on the road) 『This is not Pokemon: It's not really addictive, and there's not much of a big rpg part to it. Still, it's a lot of fun, and a great game to play when you're stuck in a car.』
(Xtremely awsome) 『This is one of the best games for the Gameboy Color games, in fact it's in my top 5 all time best games. Including 5 different events on 25 unique courses, Xtreme Sports offers exiting role playing game elements with sporting action. Skyboarding, luge, in-line skating, skateboarding, and surfing.
