IPhone 3G used's review (Hi) 『Hi again』
(What kind of game is this?) 『konami has accomplished nothing by making this game. what a waste of plastic and microchips. in hopes that this hockey game would be good, it isn't! you might as well forget taking the puck to the opposing goal because chances are you won't even make it that far. konami should stop making hockey games and stick to games that don't involve much thought in producing. all this game is good for is wedging it under the leg of an unbalanced table or chair. if you are a loser, then this game is for you.』
(Worst ever!) 『This is a shockingly bad game, especially since Konami is known for previous games that were good. The play is too fast, players and puck are just blurs. You can't see a thing, let alone play the game. There's probably a much better hockey game out there for regular old fashoned, black and white Gameboy.』

IPhone 3G used's review (sweetest game) 『I played this game thinking it would be just another GBC mistake,(by the wa i love hockey and hockey games)playing this once hooked me onto it. Playing a season is so realistic and exiting. The players movment isnt to great but i forget about it and just play it. I'd rather play that than my NHL2k on dreamcast!』
(not bad, not great either) 『being used to the PS version, perhaps i was expecting a bit more. still, there is much room for improvement here. players are annoyingly stupid in this version. they jump the blueline *all* the time or just take a nap in the offensive zone causing many offsides calls. also, pulling the goalie seems to work infrequently at best (my shootout mode doesn't work at all, so maybe i should be happy.) having the check and speedup buttons combined can be very frustrating - you try to check your man and end up flying past him down the ice. that all said, it still can be a pretty fun game. just don't expect too much.』
(gamer) 『Players do not collide with each other, they pass right through each other. The speed boost sometimes shoots players three quarters the length of the ice. The player's are tinier than they needed to be. This is gameboy, don't be real, be fun. The player acceleration and deceleration is way too slow as well.』
(NHL Y2K Ready) 『I find NHL 2000 to to be very entertaining, I don't spend a lot of my money on Game Boy games, but I do get the games I know I will like for a long period of time, and this is one of them. I own about 15 top games and this is my 16th. EA Sports games are one of the best in my collection. NHL 2000 features what I want in a hockey game. GFX, Enjoyment, Color # 1. NHL 2000』
(Genesis hockey is back!) 『When I bought NHL 2000, like everyone else, I was hoping to be taken back to those good old Genesis days and for the most part I was. I can understand how people could criticize the control but if your a real NHL Genesis fan you'll have no problem adjusting to the controls and having hours of fun with this game. I was very pleased with the graphics with the individual players and I also liked all the updated teams and players. So if you're looking for a game to give you a taste of Genesis type fun pick NHL 2000.』 『Cartridge Only
Professional hockey comes to the Game Boy Color with NHL 2000. You can choose from all of the NHL teams, including the expansion Atlanta Thrashers. Play an Exhibition game to work on your tactics and strategies, and when you are ready for long-term competition, try to endure an 82-game Season, or just skip straight to the Playoffs. While in the game, you will have to learn when to make line changes and determine when it's a good time to pull the goalie. In addition to these tactical decisions, you must also deal with penalties and infractions including offsides, two-line passes, and icing. However, you can customize the game by turning off certain rules and setting the referee's strictness. In addition, there are three different difficulty levels. Will you be able to claim the Stanley Cup? The only way to find out is by playing NHL 2000.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Decent GameBoy action.) 『This game was fun, but it could have been better. I'm hoping for an improved sequel.I'll start with the good points. There are 15 levels, so it's not a game you will complete while stuck in traffic. It's in a 3D first-person perspective, none of that light-bulb's eye view of the tops of people's heads. There are four characters to choose from, choices being from high-brawn/low mana to kinda-weak/lotsa mana. Unfortunately, all four are male, which is something most of us females are already used to anyway. There are two slots for saving your game; this is like a godsend, one slot would be helpful enough but that second slot is handy when you realize you never should have pressed that button two levels ago! Your avatar is alive; you can't just bash and fireball your way through to the end, you need to make sure the avatar has enough food and water to make it. Sleep too is necessary, so remember those safe areas. The storyline is simple but fun enough to keep the gameplay exciting. The monsters are well designed, there is good variety there. There are lots of spells, but the spell preparation takes some getting used to. On the downside, there were a couple of puzzles that did not have adequate hints (the savegame feature comes in very handy here when you realize you've opened the wrong door). There are many secret doors and hidden areas, this means after the first three levels you will have to basically walk into every blank wall you see to find these undetectable areas. It's time consuming and gets tiring fast, but worth the effort in the end. A knowledge of the game of chess is necessary later on in the game. The first time through, I played with Mr. Bulging Muscles Low IQ, and the game went along pretty well. He can pretty much carry everything he comes across, wear full plate armor and still bend over to pick up that Death Mace of Doom. When I played round two with Superwizard, I found that he can't wear light armor, carry a pouch of food and water, wield a little dagger, and still expect to pick up that scroll the giant cobra dropped. Character advancement is unimpressive; gaining a level seemed to have more to do with stumbling up a flight of stairs than with solving puzzles or exterminating monsters. Also, the character maxes out rather quickly. There is an automap feature, which is handy when you want to see if there's enough space for the area to contain one of those secret rooms. It's too bad this automap feature is not always accurate; if you're near the bottom of a square, the surrounding areas change shape and those corridors stretch out. This is a fun GameBoy Color game for those who like fantasy RPG, though there are many less fancy games that are at least as enjoyable. Note: The software designers were very good about e-mailing a map and a list of hints when I got stuck on one of the levels.』
(Been waiting for this) 『This style of game isn't for everyone, but it's something that I've been wanting for ages. Not just on the gameboy, but on any system. I love american style RPGS. First of all it's 3D and it's not slow - WOW. Towers has A very integrated storyline, plenty of monster bashing, and tough but not stupid puzzles. I still can't believe this is on the Gameboy. Probably one of the best features is the two-player game using the link cable. I had to try it out, so I picked up an extra copy. My boy and I have been playing ever since. In one siting, we played until my batteries ran out, around 4 hours. My only real complaint is the spell system, not that intuitive. Once you get used to it though, it's not that bad.If RPGs is your game, I can't recommend Towers enough.』
(A great traditional RPG w/ 2player fun to add to it.) 『Towers is a very complex game with lots to manage and control. Once you get used to the controls and past the first couple of levels, you find yourself hooked. The 3D makes the game eerie, and monsters catch you by surprise. Becuse of its traditional nature, it does not spoon feed you a story. You must find the scrolls that carry pieces of information about what happened and put it together yourself in order to finish the game. There are several puzzles, including one end of game puzzle that had me going for a while. The levels are well desinged and a map is also supplied, which is important. However, the best feature by far is the 2 player mode. It's just that fun! Having to manuver around the dungeon with a friend made the game that much more fun. I feel this game is a must for Hard Core RPG fans of the likes of Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder, and ShadowKeep.』

Konami should make a new game and fix all the problems with this wretched game』
(Big Mistake) 『I played this gameboy game thinking it would be cool. I learned it was just a big mistake. Even on the easiest level scoring a goal is impossible. Getting the puck to the other side is tought enough. But scoring goals just wii not happen. If the other teams scores on you you know you've already lost. The games are tought to play. Fighting is hard to do because you have to memorize all the keys to hit. You can't trade players, and the goalies are way to good. Konami should make another hockey game but they should fiz the unpleastent game play. This game is good for people that want a really big challenge. But I've had he game for 2 weeks and I still can't win because of the oppponents goalies being way to good. Also their are too many buttons to memorize. Even hockey fanatics should aviod this big mistake.』
(Strongly recommend!) 『I would strongly recommend this game as one of the top hockey games available for GBC.....has the speed and action of blades of steel with the high quality graphics and realism of NHL 2000. It's the only handheld hockey game I'll play.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Fun, Entertaining...Then What..?) 『This was a fun game, one I enjoyed playing (even when I was cursing in frustration). It's got that arcade-like feel where you stroll about killing baddies using either your sword or fireball-thingys you find as you play. One nice feature is the fact that your enemies don't all attack you at once--most stay put until you get close, giving you a chance to spot them. There are several flying/sneak attack foes which are more challenging to beat. About every third level is a "boss" level where you have to defeat someone or something appproximately ten times your size--the trick seems to be to find the one spot on the foe that takes damage when you hit it (head, waist, knees, etc.) and duck a lot. What I enjoyed most about the game was finding the hidden portals and alternate routes to the end of a level. What I enjoyed least was the fact that save codes weren't given after every level, so if you got through a tough level but then died in the next, you had to do both all over again...*groan* Overall I'd say it was a good game, but I was able to beat it in a matter of days, and once I had done that and discovered all the hidden stuff, there wasn't much point in playing anymore. I'd definitely recommend playing it, because it was a lot of fun the first time through, but I'd advise renting or borrowing it first, to see if you like it enough to want to own it long-term.』
(Sweet adventure game) 『Good for trips I love this game!!!!! You take the role of either Miguel or Tulio as they search 20 levels of action that span swamps, rainforests, Spanish galleons, and even El Dorado for treasure and the other pieces of the map. Along the way, the heroes will have to fight bulls, native warriors, Spanish soldiers, wild boars, and rhinos, and they'll also have to brave the Circle of Fire. Luckily, the heroes are equipped with swords to dispatch any problems they might run into. If you play the game well, you just might get to ride Altivo, the horse. IPhone 3G used's review (Excellent Basketball Game for the Gamboy!) 『This 5 on 5 game is very good. The graphics is good for the Gameboy and the music is decent. The control is okay but the computer AI is very weak. You'll get really bored after a while as the computer gives you very little challenge, even on the most difficult setting. Sometimes, you have to go get the ball yourself because the computer is too stupid to even care. Dunks are way too difficult to perform. If you can stand the frustration of having to move your player to get the ball and having your player do a layup instead of a dunk in the open court then get this game. If not there is a better basketball game called NBA 3 On 3 Featuring Kobe Bryant. This game is better in almost every way.』
(This Is A Very Good Basketball Game!!!!!) 『This game made by Konami is really cool. It has cool modes such as the 3-point shootout, and the all-star game. All 29 teams are represented in this game with real players. Although this game is good, I prefer to get NBA 3 ON 3 FEATURING KOBE BRYANT.
Here's why:
The Best Basketball Game for the Gamboy Systems to Date! Basketball is not a strong genre for the Gameboy. In fact, so many developers have failed to produce a quality basketball game on the system. A handful of games, including well-known titles such as NBA JAM that were so popular during the 16-bit era, have managed to make a visit to the system, but they all are really bad. The fun of the SNES/GENESIS versions were left behind. Gone are the fun and exciting gamplay and music that these titles were known for. Instead, these new versions play and sound nothing like their predecessors. They are plagued with poor graphics, sound, and unresponsive/awkward control. Many of these games are really simple and most of them offer only a few cool options.
NBA 3 ON 3 FEATURING KOBE BRYANT, however, is a stellar basketball game that is head and shoulders above its competitors ( if there is any worthy name at all). Developed by Left Field, the same company that made the famous KOBE BRYANT IN NBA COURTSIDE series, and released in December of 1999, this game features rising superstar KOBE BRYANT of the Los Angeles Lakers and many other stars including Shaq, Garnett, Duncan, Vince Carter, Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, Dirk Nowitzki, Karl Malone, Paul Pierce, David Robinson, Ray Allen, and many more competing for the NBA TROPHY of the 1999-2000.
GRAPHICS: This game looks pretty good. The courts and players are great although they could be better. The animations are smoothly executed. Also, there are cinema-style cutcenes of players doing moves such as slam dunks, alley-opps, and lay-ups once they have a clear path to the basket. These are really cool and add a lot excitement to the game. The graphics of this game is rock solid. A-
SOUND: The sound department is not that great, but it is not bad. There are a few cool songs in the game. However, during a game there is no music playing except a for a few short cheering tunes that play once in a while. This is a good thing because hearing the music constantly during a game can get really annoying. Other than that the game has all the whistles and blows expected in a basketball game. There is the sound of the ball bouncing, the swishing sound once a shot is made, and the cheers of the crowd. The sound in this game is good overall. B+
GAMEPLAY: This is where the game really shines. There are loads of options in the game. The main menu features three gameplay modes. They are PICKUP, SEASON, and PLAYOFFS. PICKUP is basically an exhibition game where you choose to play against an opponent just for the fun of it. In SEASON, you can choose to play 82, 56, 28, or 14 games. There are 29 teams waiting for you to take them to the promised land. The way games decided in NBA 3 ON 3 FEATURING KOBE BRYANT is a little different. It's based on how many points you must score first to win the game instead of playing for four quarters. You can choose the number of points to win and how many games you must beat an opponent to win the game. The points to win you can choose are 1, 7, and 15. These may seem too quick for you but you can choose to play a best of 1, 3, 5, or 7 series. On top of that a shot from inside the arc is counted as one and a three pointer is two. So games can actually get really long. Other options in this game include the ability to turn customize almost all the rules in the game. The game also has a create a player mode that is so good. You can create up to six players and rate them in 12 different categories and put them on any team you like. You can also trade for any player you want on your team. Even more, this game keeps stats of your all the teams and players. It also keeps track of team standings and league leaders in all the major categories. These stats are saved automatically after each game. Once you take the floor is where the real actions start. You can do all kinds of moves including spinning, backing down, alley-opp passes, thunderous slam dunks, and acrobatic lay-ups. You are sure to be satisfied once you see the cinema replays of some of those moves. The GAMEPLAY is definitely the cream and crop of this game. A+
OVERALL: This is by far the best basketball game for the Gameboy. Even if you no longer have a Gameboy or Gameboy Color, get this game anyway because it is fully compatible with the GBA and GBA SP systems. I dare add that it is still better than new basketball titles that have been released recently such as BACKYARD BASKETBALL . Chances are there will never be a better basketball game make for the GBA SP. This game is a must have for true basketball fans looking for fun and exciting NBA actions on their NINTENDO handhelds. A』

(Don't waste your time or $) 『I bought it and 45 minutes later I beat everybody. 8 fighters (that look terrible), poor controls, and the "Rumble Pack" doesn't add anything to the game. How did this game ever make it into stores? I'm even easily entertained....this game is a joke!』
(Art) 『This game stinks. I beat it in about half and hour, without even trying. The only thing that you are paying for is the rumble feature. The fighters are so tiny and there is no strategy at all. (KO for Ready to Rumble Boxing) 『This game stinks. No question about it. I would rather be a pokemaniac then play it. 8 LOUSY PLAYERS. 3 SECRETS. I SAW THIS UNDER THE EDITOR'S PICK. I HOPED GREATNESS BUT NOW I THINK THE EDITOR IS LOCO EN LA CABEZA. Last thing it BARELY rumbles』
(Another waste of money for your Game Boy Color) 『Don't waste your time on this game. It's not anything like the Playstation incarnation. It will only be enjoyable if you are obsessed with the playstation game and will be happy with this one just because of the name. The graphics are the same as all the other bad commercial GBC games and are nothing like the revolutionary graphics coming on the system soon when nintendo releases their new action game.』
