『Good game I like it. It has better graphic's than the first Flintstones game not as much game play though just making a lot of burger's. If you are looking for this game be warned it is extremely hard to find when I got it was just a couple of month's ago it was the last copy in all of Pittsburgh so be warned IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND A COPY OF THIS GAME. Be smart buy it here off of amazon may cost more but it depends on how bad you really want the game and on plus side the game comes to you instead of you coming to get the game save money on the gas.』

(Flintstone's Burgertime in Bedrock)
『After a year of searching, I finally obtained a copy of this game. It was well worth the wait and effort. There are 24 levels to clear in all. Six stages with 4 parts. After each stage is cleared, you will be given a password to continue at the same level you reached. It's the classic Burgertime game with the option of playing as either Fred or Barney. A definite must have!』

(Sweet game for children!)
『This is a cute and entertaining game, it features Laura going through the village and helping the different townsfolk along the way. Laura is a sweet, kind girl providing service unto the different villagers along the way, never asking for anything in return for her good deeds. This game provides as a good influence for younger children by showing that kindness and service can go a long way. The game also includes no violence, no evil, it's just a sweet little game inspiring young children to do good deeds.
In addition to roaming the village, there are also a number of mini-games that Laura can play. The mini-games are both challenging and fun to play.

This is a good game choice for any child...any child, so long as he or she can read. They may be able to figure out how to play without reading, but being able to read makes it easier and enhances gameplay.

Very cute game, sweet characters, good moral. If you're looking for a sweet game that does not influence violence for your child, this would be a great choice.』

(Help!)
『Hi I was wondering if any one knew how to get past the part where Laura has to find her Mom's Jewelry for Tommy? It would be really helpful.』

(Great for children 6 and up)
『This Game Boy Color version of "Laura's Happy Adventures" (The name of the original PC game) is an enchanting adventure which brings the forgotten Playmobil Victorian World to life. The sweet Laura is sent into unforgetable adventures on the streets of a Victorian Village. There is no evil included in this game, which is a great thing, since it does not involve children into any kind of violence.
If you enjoy this great video game. Wait until you see the PC version. 3 times better. More detailed characters, beautiful graphics on the streets and the Playmobil Victorian Dollhouse, adorable music and unforgettable storyline.
I also recommend:
Playmobil: Alex Builds his Farm
Playmobil: Hype-the Time Quest

(If they can't read, don't buy it!)
『I bought this for my 5 year old daughter. She was quickly disappointed because the only way to figure out what to do is to be able to read what the characters are saying to one another. It is very easy to navigate around and if it is on the easy setting, there is usually a small arrow that lets you know which way you need to move the character. Very cute, but as I said--If your child can't read yet, don't buy it!!!!!!!』

『This game rocks. No other way to put it. This is the best BMX game I've seen in a long time. This game is packed with killer tricks, cool music, and awesome levels. A great buy for those who liked Tony Hawk and Matt Hoffman.』

(Great game)
『I thought this game was great. It reminded me of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, only in BMX form. The graphics were good and the tricks were sick!! This is a must have for any BMX fans.』

(Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX)
『Dave Mirra was a very good game. It had smooth gameplay and killer tricks. The controls were fairly easy to understand and use. The music was good and the game was fun. I thought the graphics and speed were incredible. I give this game an all-around rating of 4.5 stars.』
『The Game Boy Color gets its own BMX trick game with DAVE MIRRA FREESTYLE BMX. You'll play through eight different stages that will give you the chance to pull off some wild stunts and spectacular jumps. Each course will challenge you to complete a variety of objectives, ranging from specific stunts to collecting items. Perform each of the objectives to earn points, unlock new stages, and upgrade your bike for better tricks. The game is played from a¾-overhead perspective, which allows you a maximum view of the surrounding area. Each of the levels has a multitude of obstacles and items to perform tricks on and, with careful timing, you'll be able to create wild trick combinations off multiple objects. You can play a Tournament mode with up tothree friends by passing the system after each run, and you can save your progress and high scores using the password save function. DAVE MIRRA FREESTYLE BMX is compatible with Game Boy Color systems only.』

(It's not good and it's not bad)
『Bomberman strikes again..... well this game I think is boring. At first when you play it you think its good but after 3 levels it REALLY gets boring. Trying to beat 1 level is hard enough because you can die by your bombs!! And also getting busted by those animals and getting killed by your owm bombs can be really frustrating. I wouldn't recomend this to anyone except those who really like bomberman. The graphics are stunting but the gameplay is really boring. So don't buy it except if you like bomberman!! BORING GAME!!』

(Odd game, but lots of fun!)
『I got this game as a gag gift for one of my friends. What I expected to be a crappy bunch of mini games actually turned out to be a quite amusing experience. Although the game isn't very long, it provided me enjoyment on a long car ride.』

(Fun for a month. 3.5 stars.)
『It's very intriguing, very fun, very, VERY silly and will keep you glued for AT LEAST a week. In my case the fun extended well over a month. I kept coming back to enjoy the silliness and difficulty. The dark, charcoal-like character models are too cute.

The Rub Rabbits are so silly and the games have tons of variety.

Although I do wish to sell this to anyone willing to pay 10 bucks for it, I've had my fun with it and enjoyed its unique charm. Hopefully, besides the Rub Rabbits, part II will be longer and even quirkier and fun.

(Uses the FUll Potential of the Nintendo DS!)
『Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: Eschneider6

Feel the Magic exclusively for the Nintendo DS is one of the most creative games made by Sega. It's in a game category by itself. You want to win the girl of your dreams, so you and the group "Rub Rabbits" try performing madcap stunts&rescuing her from danger. These stunts you perform have you rub, touch, shout and blow to complete the stunts and rescues.

This game shows off what the DS can really do if you develop properly for it. I didn't know there was a microphone on the DS until I played this game. Some of the stunts will have you shooting scorpions off her back, creating a sail wind with your breath to rescue the girl, and using the stylus to fill in drawings while avoiding falling people.

With over 17 chapters, this game will take some time, go back and play them again and again to unlock different outfits for the girl of your dreams. Also some Sega games will give you some more items like Sonic Advance games, Chu Chu Rocket, and Space Channel 5 for the GBA. I recommend this game, so feel the magic, and win the girl of your dreams, and start playing today!

My review score for Feel the Magic is 9.0
Legend: Score 1 is throw it out, 10 is a must buy』

(Japanese quirkiness at it's best)
『This game isn't the best game ever.

BUT, it is fun. You join a team of performance artists to prove to your would-be-girl that you're the guy for her. This leads into a plethora of zany challenges where you do everything from blow out candles to swat bees away from your lady.

The end is a little tough to beat, but the games style and charm easily make up for it.』

(Fun in a box for a cheap price, how can ya go wrong?)
『Generally over the course of the Nintendo DS's cycle so far, some games have almost tacked-on touch controls as if they realized "oh yeah, this is the DS isn't it? We should add something." Feel the Magic essentially allows you to use the touch screen exclusively and even its microphone and while it probably isn't the deepest game to play, it's sure fun, albeit very short inexpensive fun.

Story: You play a member of some kind of bunny gang who meets a gorgeous girl. You decide to do whatever you can to win her heart. But don't think winning her heart is it as you also have to tend with nature baddies as well as jealous ex's or just really weird guys.

Graphics: They're not exactly showing off the DS but they're quirky, colorful. The graphics also shift to whatever minigame you have to play. The top screen becomes a road you speed down to catch in one game, while in another you might have to swat scorpions off your lady's back. Again it's not technically outstanding but at least you're not going the entire time "god these are ugly."

Sound/Music: Catchy if repetitive music but that's probably expected with this kind of game. There's also the occasional sound bytes such as your woman saying the level out loud ("Plants" or "Scorpion"). The characters though have some pretty hilarious voices such as the saboteurs in the "Painter" game.

The game is essentially one minigame after another. Beating the minigame nets you...I don't know what they're called, heart points? Basically you have to get 100 and beating the minigame gets you a certain amount. Lose the minigame and it'll go down but strangely, there's no game over. You just essentially keep re-trying until you get up to 100. After that it's on to the next scene and a new set of minigames.

The minigames themselves range from fun to quirky to in some cases, outright frustrating. They range from gathering people on your roof and firing them at a getaway van(super fun), to unicycling over tightrope(tense but not hard), knocking stampeding bulls out of the way(kind of fun) to frustrating. One such example was blowing into the microphone so my sailboat can go towards my woman who was in the ocean filled with circling sharks. It's relatively easy but it's so sensitive that I wasn't even breathing and I completely bypassed her. Other games, especially near the end, will probably make you feel like breaking your machine.

Is it a game you'll be playing 2 weeks later like the game won't end a la Final Fantasy III? Or maybe a game with massive replay like Mario Kart? Doubt it but it's fun while it lasts. And hey, it only costs me 10$.』

『Feel the Magic: XY/XX is a quirky, highly stylized adventure packed with crazy events. It's a bout a young man trying to get the attention of a beautiful girl. Watch as he hires a group of actors to help him impress her - and do what you can to help him get her attention without getting caught staging events.』

(Why Aren't There More Games Like This?)
『I was first truly introduced to the world of Don Bluth in 1992 during a vacation to Disneyworld. In the hotel's basement was a relativley large and eclectic arcade. Wedged between Mad Dog McCree and Space Pirates was Dragon's Lair, probably the first truly interactive movie to ever be placed in an arcade machine. I became utterly fascinated with the game, though not having the patience to genuinely appreciate it. Before that, the only thing of Dragon's Lair I had ever even heard of was the Television series (though I remember the few episodes I saw being somewhat boring and non-descript, nothing like the game). Dragon's Lair is the most quintessential "cross-platfrom" game ever conceived; its original format on Laserdisc, then onto Arcade, to PC, to DVD, and finally, to GameBoy Color. (I believe there were even Playstation, Saturn, and Sega CD editions of the game, but I must admit that I am uncertain, and apologize in case I have genuinely left them out).

GameBoy, although the undisputed crown jewel of portable gaming entertainment (with the sadly ill-fated NeoGeo Pocket color coming in at a solid second), has had the misfortune of playing host to some of the most hackneyed games ever made (Little Nicky, Carmageddon, Komani NFL, etc.). Thus, when I saw screenshots for DL, I immediately went out and purchased the game. While not what I would consider a terribly fun game (I mean, when you've played Zelda DX, it's hard to be impressed) it is still a great game to own almost purely because of its concept: An interactive movie for a portable gaming system! Interactive films are something of a lost art (Actually, if we look back on the interactive film, one would probably say "it was never a 'found art' to begin with!" Who remembers 'Fox Hunt' and 'Psychich Detective' for PS?). In any case, I am quite frankly annoyed by this losing of an art that really has so much potential! A film that is never quite the same each time you see it is really quite a promising prospect...and now one can have this on a Game Boy! Sure, it may not be the highest quality of animation when compared with its orignal version (frankly, I've seen Flash Animation better than this) But merely the fact that it was done on game boy makes the issue of image quality obsolete. Thus I raise my glass and propose a toast! A Toast to the return (and revamping) of the interactive movie!

In conclusion, I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the original Dragon's Lair, anyone who may have only heard of Dragon's Lair, and anyone who simply might wish to expand their game boy library!』

(Gameboy Color Does Good With This Title)
『I didn't think it could be done, but the orginal was shrunk to fit the gameboy color. I personally liked it and I will tell you why. First starters, its a great version of the classic game. I loved the arcade game, I was never really good at it, but I loved it. I was a little kid when Dirk first hit the scene and I was blown away by the animation and interaction. True, it is not a conventional video game, it's more eye candy and quick acting one button hitting moves, but this is the best of them. Dirk The Daring has been around for 17 years and they are still converting over to play on newer systems. Another reason I like it, it plays quickly. Let's admit one thing about about the Gameboy Color, it's not looking to dazzle you with graphics or sound, it's a hand-held game system to pass the time while you are traveling or hanging out (for older players anyway). I don't like getting really involved in my Gameboy games, I leave that to my Dreamcast, PS2, or PC games. With Dragon's Lair, I can pop it in, play for a bit and shut it off. Sometimes I don't play my Gameboy for weeks or even monthes at time, and playing some games (like RPGs or adventure games) I loose track what has happened or I forget the password to the next levels. All and all, Dragon's Lair is not for everyone. The real people who would enjoy this one would have to be the fans of the old game. New players may be a little confused about the gameplay and the odd pauses in the game. The fans familiar with the game will remember the pauses and obscure lag time, but we liked the game none the less. If you really like the game, then the only thing left to do is buy the DVD version. DVD version is the best translation (if not better) and it's relatively a cheap game...』

(Amazingly Faithfull, but....)
『Wow... Dragon's lair in your hands ! Of course, I think this game will only be appreciated by those who played it in the "old arcade days" , and will probably not create a new wave of fans. This being said, I think the GBC version is just amazingly faithfull, taking into consideration the potential of an 8 bit mini-console. Two things makes it a little bad though...First the sound effects were highly reduced (probably to make the visuals better) and the "game play" is way too fast, new players will have a hard time figuring out what to do. But, I'm 33, and I grew up in the 80's were a quarter could actually make a difference (Arcade wise) and I believe that Dragon's Lair GBC is really great !』

(Amazing!! Dirk is BACK!)
『Dragon's Lair was revolutionary when it first hit arcades back in the 80's. It was the first of its kind, using a Laserdisc to present cartoons, while the player controlled the flow of the game. Serious kudos the folks at Digital Eclipse, who have once again squeezed an Arcade Classic into a teeny-tiny Game Boy Color cartridge. And what an amazing job too!

For pure nostalgia reasons alone, this is a great title to own. The graphics are some of the best ever seen on the GBC, and the animation is surprisingly really good. The sounds aren't of the highest quality, but they weren't all that special in the arcade either, so it's no big loss. All the original arcade levels seem to be included, and game play is just as good as it was in the arcade (though, admittedly, that might not be saying much...).

If you were a fan of the original you will love this portable version. If on the other hand, you grew up with games like Doom and Quake, chances are that no version of Dragon's Lair will ever appeal to you, be-it CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, game boy or otherwise.

One thing's for sure, this GBC version of Dragon's Lair is MUCH better than the black-and-white version that was released for the original Game Boy. That old black-and-white version had nothing to do with "dragon's lair" except in name only.

This GBC version REALLY IS Dragon's Lair! Falling platform and all.』

(Sorry Dirk-you are DOA)
『What could have been a real fun and innovative tittle for the GBC is instead barely playable. Fans of the vintage "Dragon's Lair" may want to give this pak a whirl but I don't forsee any it making anyone else jump for more. While the graphics are impressive, the animation is clumsy and akward. While it does offer a "Tutorial" mode, which just teaches you the same rooms over and over again, making a correct move can be insanely challenging. It isn't always clear when a player should make a move, and since the rooms are picked at random, your chance of getting back there to try it again is slim to none. My advice is to steer clear of this title unless you are an experienced( and patient) "Dragon's Lair" pro.』

(The great classic horror game, made more playable!)
『I've always loved the arcade and NES versions of this game. The classic sidescrolling action, the medieval fantasy horror, the bizarre and hideous monsters, the creepy and catchy music... I've always loved just about everything about Ghosts 'N Goblins. The only aspect I didn't like so much was that, in some ways, it was just too ridiculously frustrating. Well, I actually think the GBC version is superior to the NES version; the main improvement being the save system. Since it's such a long game (that you have to complete twice to actually win at), it's nice to be able to take breaks from the challenge instead of trying to beat the game in one go. Also, I'm glad that some of the really tough, quick enemies like the red demons, and the dragons in this version can be destroyed with a handful of shots (instead of about 15 million shots like in the NES version). To put it simply, I think this is a better version of an already great game.』

『Well, this is an oldie, but a goodie! Ghosts n goblins hits back to the old days, I remember throwing in quarter after quarter into the arcade version, and stayed up every night playing it on my NES.. Ohh, the good old days *sighs* Now, you can get this on the gameboy color! This game is so fun and addicting, I just bought this today, and my face has been glued to the gameboy screen! The musick is pretty catchy as well, plus everytime you complete a stage, you are rewarded a password, so when you die, you don't have to start from level one.. Pretty good idea, if you ask me. You simply must buy this wonderful game! Arthur, the lance wielding hero rules!!』

(for all you arcade old-timers out there...)
『i don't know how many quarters i punched into the arcade machine ghosts'n goblins. must have been hundreds at least. and now i can play the game wherever and whenever i want, just for as much as about 25 dollars. sounds good? uh, you bet! best thing is the back-up-battery so you won't have to play the levels again and again. the arcade-port is perfect, you won't even notice any difference. same for the difficulty: HARD AS HELL. you will have to learn the levels, or you're gonna die. hundreds and hundreds of times. but if you liked the arcade (or the NES, or the mega drive) version, BUY IT!』

(The game is great)
『G&G is a great port from the clasic game. The game is good, it isn't as easy as a game you can beat in you first try, and have nice colors. Well the game is simply a good one, and if you like this kind of games you should try this』

(6 Year Old Gamer and Mom)
『I puchased this game for my son last Christmas (age5). This is a favorite of his. He gets through the levels pretty easily, with practice. With this game I can expect him to play for a hour but usually longer. This game is age appropriate. The levels teach patience, rembering skills and "How to" solve skills. The graphics are really great and the adventure to the next level is some what repetitious but, he loves this game.
Parents, can feel safe with this non-violent game (bonking monkeys) and the kids will enjoy it.』

(Awesome)
『Jungle Book has the most impressive graphics I've seen thus far in all the Game Boy games I've seen. Mind you I'm only the mother of the owners of these games but I've got to tell you...My 6 year son LOVES this game. And he's very good at it. Jungle Book is his favorite animated Disney movie and this takes it one step further. It's also a relief to not see the common "shoot 'em up and die scenes." I highly recommend it.』

(Mogli King of the Jungle!)
『Who would've expected such a great game from this license? Not me, and good thing I got it anyway, because it's a truly great game! In general I'd have to say this game is like Disney's Tarzan on GBC taken to the next level. It even starts out with a georgous FMV just like Tarzan. The graphics in general are just stunning! So lush and full of depth that's it hard to believe it's playing on the GBC screen. You'll have no problem at all believing you are part of Mogli's jungle world. Adding to the effect are the incredible animations of the characters, espicially Mogli himself. I'm reminded of when I first played Aladdin for Genesis. His moves are so smooth and varried. It's like he's really INSIDE your GBC!

The gameplay is really exceptional as well. And thank goodness, because a beautiful game without a strong play factor still makes for an awful game. It's a side scroller for sure, but what makes it stand out is that it's full of little puzzles to figure out along the way. No hopping on enemy heads in this game. Instead you must trick, lure and use yout emimies to help you reach new levels and gain power ups. The levels start off pretty easy as you learn all the techniques Mogli has, but as you progress things get tougher and tougher. Make no mistake this game will get very challenging along the way! I really like not blowing things up and stomping on enimies for a change and using my wits against them. There are boss levels where you have to do more of a battle, but for the most part you are just avoiding or manipulating your enimies. You even have to ride Kaa the snake in one level!

The one real flaw with the game is the music. Not that it's bad, but neither "Bare Necessities" or "I Wann be Like You" are included. How could they do that? These songs are essential for a Jungle Book game. The music included is good though and give it a jungle feel. The game designers make up for the music flaws with appearances of characters from the movie. Baloo, Bagheera, Kaaa, Shere Khan and the elephant patrol are a few of the characters to make appearances.

If you have a Game Boy Advance, this plays beautifully on it in the streached mode as it's much easier to see than on the GBC. In fact, I only play it on the GBA now.
