While the first GameBoy Color version of Blitz is fun at first, it quickly wears thin. First off, you can barely see the football, next the graphics are really, really blurry (especially when you play it on an old GameBoy in black&white), and sometimes the controls are unresponsive. Now, I'm not saying the NFL Blitz games are bad games (most of them anyway, the recent GBA game is horrible), but you should take any other version of a Blitz game; whether its on PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, Gamecube, or XBox; over this any day.』

The colors are poorly done and the gameplay is just plain bad. Plays don't work properly, the game moves so fast that it's almost impossible to tell what's going on, and the views on the game don't give you the classic football feel. Do not buy this game, I guarantee you will be disappointed.』

The color and animation is really amazing as far as GBC standards are concerned. The colors are vibrant, bright, and very clear. The music consists of catchy little tunes that will lead you to turning up your volume. ^^ The controls are pretty easy, as most GBC games are. While you can't save your game, after you pass certain levels, you'll receive a password that you can put in the password section in options to start on that level. This game is worth every penny that you spend for it, and I highly recommend it! You'll find yourself addicted to playing this game. ^_^ Once you buy this game, you'll be leaping over tumble-weeds, taking part in shooting down glass bottles, taking rides on stage-coaches, galloping with your horse, Jolly Jumper, defeating the criminals, and much more! In this game, you play as some kid who uses models (original name huh?) , which are remote controled robots that evryone's using latley. The game takes place in uh... I can't tell if it's a city or a town, anyway, when you enter an area, usually someone will challenge you to a robot fight. These battles are played like they would be in a fighting game. The weak RPG elements are the upgrading of your robot combos by levels. You buy these at the local robo shop. Ex. Death Ball Lv. 2. You win the money by constantly winning battles, this gets old. I honestly think this would've been a better idea to put on the N64, and I think they should've used an exp. point engine rather than buying parts. If you like pocket fighters, this should be a fun game, but there aren't nearly enough RPG elements to capture the intrest of a true RPG fan.』

(It's ok) 『I am a huge dog fan so I bought this as my first gameboy color game. At first I was happy with the game, but it was too easy. With the exception of about 3 levels where you have to A. Bark at two men to get a key to open a door, B. Bark continually at an evil toymaker to beat the level, C. Bark into a sound projector to defeat Cruella DeVil, all the leves are the same! Find the miniscule, hard-to-see key and open all the cages! The only hard part to me was the level called "Research Laboratory" Where there were these weird platforms with up arrows on them and I couldn't figure out how to use them! Just jumping on them doesn't do anything, and I finally figured out that you hold the B button down while on the platforms without continually pressing it and wait till your puppy flys high enough to reach the last platform. Another con is the music. All the loud beeps, boops, and annoying twangy tunes that repeat themselves can really get on your nerves! The good thing is, after you beat the game, you get two codes for two fairly fun mini games. But even they get too easy for an experienced gamer. I will not deny you some enjoyment; the codes are: tank, dice, dice, tank, AND tank, dice, dice, dice. Have some fun!
I guess this game could be fun for a younger person but I wouldn't reccomend it for anyone 9 and up at least. I am 11 and beat it in two days, and I bet a lot of people could beat it faster.』

Of course this was the first game I got. It has pretty good graphics, but the problem is that it dosn't have a point. It is a top to bottem scroling game, where you have to shoot the ememys that come onto your screen. you have one wepon, the machine gun, but they shouldn't call it that because if you hold the fire button down it shoots a little faster than once per second. The only other move you can do is a loop, it will help you dodge one or two enemys at a time, but you can only use the loop 3 times per level. every 2-4 levels there is a boss, a huge bomer, he will shoot 5 bullets at a time at you. I beat this game in about 3 days, and I thought it was to easy, and the ending really [was not very good].
I recomend this game to people who like pointless shoot-em-up games that are easy to beat.』
