IPhone 3G used's review (gameboy on the move!) 『It's totally awesome to have the ability to play gameboy while on the road without having to waste batteries! I dont have to worry about my batteries wearing out and losing my game! How ever, every once in awhile the cord to this adaptor (and others on the market) can come unhooked. Maybe in the future the manufacturers will add a strap to hold the plug in the game!』 『Enjoy your trip with everlasting power to your GameBoy』

SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES ZAPPED! (NINTENDO GAMEBBOY COLOR VERSION)
IPhone 3G used's review (Kids Love It!) 『Bought this for my 5 year old daughter who is just starting with a Gameboy Color. She loves it, plays everyday and is able to navigate the levels easily. Holds her interest. She also received two other games, but this is the only one she uses. My 8 year old son, who has an Advance and many, many games loves it as well. He loves it so much he wants one for himself. Although it's easy for him, it seems to keep him interested. I highly recommend this game for boys or girls in the 5 to 8/9 age group.』
(not that good) 『i got this game at age 10 and i finish this game in one day its very easy and not worth spending money on to play it only a day. if you have someone very young like 6 or 7 years old then they may play it longer but anyone over 8 will probably finish it in a short period of time.』
(sabrina) 『It was okay, kinda challenging, but fun for girls 6-12. It is full of excitment, but I think that they should have improved this.』
(Sabrina the animated series rules.) 『I think the animated series is just so cool. Jem Stone is she soposed to be the populiest girl in school? Sabrina is so cool I just love salem he's so cute.I think they did a really great job with the animated series because its so better than the ariganal one. Harvey is hardyly in it....,』
(Sabrina Zapped) 『This game was really exciting. The first level was really easy but they did build into much harder levels with a lot of skill required on some levels. Sometimes, I just thought it can't be done but after lots of gameplaying I got there in the end! The features and characters were really good and I enjoyed changing the animals back into people and was always keen to get onto the next level. Sabrina is really cool and so was this game!!』 『Sabrina has messed up again: she has turned all of the kids into animals. Now, she must travel through town and change the kids back. In order to turn the kids back, she must hit them and then use her magic on them. There are a number of power-ups available to help Sabrina on her quest, including quadruple jumps, a butt stomp, and warping abilities. She can also collect five stars that will allow her to change the kids back without having to stun them first. However, there are areas in each stage that Sabrina cannot reach. So she must find Salem, who can crawl through small spaces and use his tail to knock over blocks to clear a path for Sabrina. Getting through a level will require planning and skill, so put on your thinking cap. Help Sabrina return her classmates to normal in SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES: Zapped!』
IPhone 3G used's review (The best version for the second generation of Pokemon game) 『Pokemon Crystal version is very fun. You have more secret to discover. If the Pokemon Fan want to play a game from the second generation ? I say«Play Pokemon Crystal, this is the best of all».』
(Girl Power!) 『Finally! A pokemon game where you can play as a girl! This off course was the cry sent out by girls world-wide when this game was first released. Female main characters are standard now, but this was the game that poineered that. Highly recommended!』
(Awesomest. Pokemon. Game. Ever.) 『I loved the Gold and silver games, and when this came out, I was all over it. This is easily the best pokemon game ever, with 16 gym leaders and 2 different regions and only 250 or so pokemon (so it's easier to catch 'em all, but not too hard), this game has more content than any pokemon game before or after it. Amazing. One of these days I'll have to get mine out again.』
(Pokemon Crystal) 『It's a fun game to own and play just like Pokemon Yellow, its counterpart from the previous series of three pokemon games. Only certain aspects of game play are negatives such as the time aspect and daily events as well as having to chase the legendary pokemon unlike in Pokemon Yellow. Missing certain events and having to wait literally a week sometimes to return to them is slightly annoying as is having to capture certain pokemon during specific times of day as they are in some cases specifically nocturnal or their percent in a given area is extremely low. Other than these things the game plays very well and the improvement that you can select to be a male or female trainer unlike Pokemon Yellow is great. Seeing each pokemon in their given coloration is really nice just like it was in Pokemon Yellow too. The added new types and moves are also a plus. Overall a well worth buy for a Pokemon fan.』
(Even with Pearl and Diamond out there, this one stands out!) 『This is my favorite Pokemon Version of them all (so far). Even with Pearl and Diamond out, and all the others, this one is my favorite. I like it because it's origanal, and pretty much all the pokemon that were in the older versions are in this one. It has the best music of them all too! Plus there are two reigons to beat! The reigon from Red and Blue, and the new reigon! 16 gyms! Plus, all the first legendary pokemon from the classic part of the show with Misty and Brock are in this game too. you also get cool accecories like a cell phone and radio (in the game) so you don't have to walk all the way backto your home town to talk to your mom in the game.
I also like the item and pokemon copier cheat. It's simple, and doesn't take too long. You can have as many of the same pokemon as you want!』 『In case you've been hiding under a rock and you've missed the commotion up to this point: The word "Pokémon" refers to a series of 150 different "pocket monsters" that you are challenged to collect, trade, and nurture in hopes of becoming the greatest Pokémon trainer in the world. You use your monsters to help in battle against other trainers. Kids love collecting these pocket monsters, and they'lllove it even more when they get a load of POKÉMON: Crystal Version. A follow-up to the Gold and Silver editions of the handheld POKÉMON saga, the Crystal Version offers enhancements and updates that will keep little trainers going for hours on end. Play as a male or female trainer, collecting, and schooling growing monsters for tournament-style combat. You'll be aided by an unusual Suicune creature, which serves as the next generation of Pikachu. Play alone or take on a friend in this addicting masterpiece』 『Pokémon Crystalis toPokémon GoldandSilverwhatPokémon Yellowis toPokémon RedandBlue. It features several minor upgrades from its predecessors, but in essence it's still the same game. The classic Pokémon formula of adventuring, collecting, and battling is at a series best withCrystal. This is one of the best and most addictive role-playing games for the Game Boy Color.
The most notable feature is the selectable female trainer who has her own set of animations and backgrounds. This is a great option for female Pokémon fans who were previously stuck playing the game as a male character. There are also subtle improvements to the cell phone system, HM moves, and prebattle animations. Rival trainers' phone calls are now more plentiful and pragmatic. HM moves, which are required throughout the game, are available at the push of a button--you'll no longer have to navigate menus to use these moves. Lastly, seeing a Pokémon's new animation makes encountering new creatures more fun than before.
If you haven't playedGoldorSilveryet,Crystalis definitely the way to go. If you've played those previous games,Crystalhas only enough new features to justify a purchase from Pokémon fanatics. This game is compatible with the link cable, Game Boy printer, and Pokémon Pikachu 2. It's playable on Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance only, and can be played on a television usingPokémon Stadium 2and a Transfer Pak.--Raymond M. Padilla
IPhone 3G used's review (A Finished Masterpiece of Design and Quality) 『I just purchased this system (current date: July '08) and have been using it for over a month. I believe that this portable system is perfect. The time that has passed between now and its active production only sharpen my feeling that the NeoGeo Pocket was a masterpiece production.
This review will be improved by the fact that I am not a hardcore video game player and I had not owned a portable game device in years. I purchased the Nintendo DS at the same time that I purchased the NeoGeo Pocket and so my comparisons/perspectives here are fresh and objective.
The NeoGeo Pocket has a terrific design that makes it easy to handle. It has a much more functional design than the Nintendo DS. Human hands fit the device perfectly and the digital input joy-pad and snappy buttons feel terrific. Directional movements that are very difficult to execute with a d-pad are easy to perform with NGPC's joy-pad.
The games that were designed for the NGPC had to be operable with two buttons. The game designers were clever and succeeded in doing more with less and so the NGPC is more efficient and is easier to use than a Nintendo DS. The 'DS has 6 main buttons (input through the buttons is soft and disappointing) and it 6 mediocre buttons seem superfluous in comparison to NGPC's wonderful two-button implementation.
A recent article in Game Informer magazine observed that '[the majority of the...]' games produced for Nintendo DS are 'shovelware'. It is a fact that many of the games in the ds library should never have been released, for example 'Shogun: Total War' has known bugs in it and is basically a game that was released half-way through its needed development time. Shogun's beta-quality is surprisingly un-surprising due to an overall low quality found in many DS games.
The NGPC game library is brimming with quality. There are several titles on NGPC that, taken individually, have more production quality and entertainment value than the entire library of games that exist for the Nintendo DS. NGPC's games have an incredible level of polish in their design. This portable system has a higher quality surrounding its library than any other portable.
The battery life is wonderful at approximately ~40+-50+ hours. The NGPC hardly ever needs to have its batteries replaced and so you don't have to be aware of how much battery power you have left each time you use it.
If you are thinking that the non-back-lit screen should be a deal-breaker, you're wrong. The screen is really good you don't need a lot of light to comfortably use it.
There's not much more to say. The NGPC is a better hand-held than the Nintendo DS. The architecturally superior, multi-buttoned, back-lit, wireless-enabled Nintendo DS hardware is capable of making games that are more engaging/better than the ones released for NGPC. Unfortunately, without Mario, Nintendo DS is basically the impotent millionaire compared to a vigorous NGPC professional (brains over brawn).
Most of the artwork and animation in the NGPC is composed of 2d-art and animation. A person can really 'feel' where the organic visual and sound production meshed with hardware to produce a complete universe that is artistically original and consistent in a pleasant way. As video games these days come closer to achieving the qualities of the cinematic and the realistic, those qualities only seem more ordinary, and so a system like NGPC stands out at this time, because it engages users in a way that is consistently stylized to be original. 』
(Questions from an interested buyer) 『The Neogeo Pocket Color in Ocean Blue looks like a great hand-held system. I always thought about getting one, but never got around to do it. Does this Neogeo Pocket Color console in Ocean Blue really comes with six games? If so, which ones are they? Please, write back, somebody.』
(One of the best handhelds EVER, especially for Fighters!) 『Since I'm reviewing the system as a whole, I'll try not to go into detail about individual games too much, but rather give you reasons to buy this system and which games you should look into.
I got my NGPC a little late in the game (about 3 years ago), but I have to say that since then, I've played it more than most other handhelds...even to this day (with only my DS rivaling it at the moment). I now have about 20 games total, including a few rare ones and not a single one of them is bad (which is a lot more than I can say for some of my GBA and PSP games).
Now I know a lot of people wouldn't bother picking one up for a few of the more common reasons:
1. Dated graphics 2. No lit screen 3. No recargable battery 4. Small game library
Well, let me address those individually. To start with, 1) the graphics on this little machine are pretty amazing. You do have to consider the time it came out, but even now, I'm still impressed with how this thing looks and plays. You have to understand that the NGPC was going up against the Game Boy Color, and the NGPC looks a LOT better than the GBC ever did in all respects. Screenshots can be easily found online, so I suggest looking some up if you don't believe me.
2) As for not having a lit screen, this is a big draw back. However, if you do some googling, you can find companies that will install front lights for a minimal charge. Basically, they take the light from a GBA SP and install it on a NGPC. It makes things MUCH nicer, let me tell you!
3)Unfortunately, at least to my knowledge, there is no rechargable battery mod for the NGPC. However, this really isn't an issue since the battery life is AMAZING. I've read reports of up to 40 hours gameplay off 2 AAs! I generally use a battery pack (which can be had online very cheap), so I can't say for certain how long 2 AAs last, but I can say that I've only had to change mine once since I got mine over 3 years ago.
And finally 4), The small library of games is a little bit of a let down, but the difference between the GB which has TONS of games and the NGPC which has few is that nearly all NGPC games are GOOD GAMES. The GB has tons of bad games which should have never seen the light of day, as do the GBA, DS, PSP, etc. Sure, the NGPC has it's share of poor titles, all systems do, but the percentage of good games vastly outweighs the bad. Let me give you a few examples from my library...
If you were ever into fighting games, then you will ADORE THIS SYSTEM! If you've been a fighting fan, you should know that up until recently, handheld fighters have been pretty poor compared to their original versions (Mortal Kombat on Game Gear or Street Fighter II on Game Boy, anyone?). Well, SNK has done an amazing job porting over these classic titles in such detail that you will wish they made console versions in the same style! Trust me! If you don't believe me, do some searching online for these titles:
SNK vs CAPCOM: Match of the Millenium King of Fighters R-2 (There's also an R-1 which was on the black and white Neo Geo Pocket and is fully playable on the Color system) Samurai Showdown!2 (Again, there's a B/W verison of NGP) The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny Fatal Fury: First Contact Gals' Fighters Rockman Battle&Fighters (Japanese only port of the Mega Man arcade fighting games)
I highly recommend all of the above, although Rockman is kind of rare now days. The games play SO much like their original versions (if there was one), you won't belive it. Unlike older handheld fighters, move lists are complete, the number of playable characters is amazing, amount of unlockables/replay value in some is just crazy, and the addition of a little joystick rather than a usual D-pad makes these fighters feel right at home.
The NGPC has it's share of good RPGs and other types of games, too. It even has a really awesome Sonic the Hedgehog game which plays just like the ones on Genesis (not like the more recent titles on GBA). Not to mention one of the most popular NGPC games ever: SNK vs CAPCOM: Card Fighter's Clash. Look up reviews on that one and it's reason enough to get this system. If you like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh, then you'll love Card Fighter's Clash. Even if you don't like that kind of stuff, you'll like CFC...seriously.
The bottom line is that the Neo Geo Pocket Color can be had so cheap these days (as little as $10-$20 for just the system sometimes), there's no reason not to at least give it a chance. Games can be had for as little as $2-$3, even for many of the titles I mentioned above, and are brand new. For example, for about $100, you can get a system, 6-9 games, an ac adapter, a battery pack, and an worm light. That's pretty common.
One last thing to note is that, as with most handhelds, the games are region free, meaning it doesn't matter if you get a japanese version of a game, it'll still play on a US system. SNK did one better, though, and many of the games support all the languages, too! You set what language you want on your system (it has a "bios" similar to the DS) and the games will play in that language regardless of where they came from.
THIS ISN'T TRUE FOR ALL GAMES, though, so be sure to research the specific title first, if you can't find a US or UK version. I have several JP and UK games in addition to my US ones and the only one I had that wouldn't support English was the JP version of Gal's Fighters. So if you want that one, find a US or UK version. The JP one is still playable, but the story is so hilarious, you'll want to be able to read it!
In short, if you like handhelds, games in general, or are just bored and looking for something to do, then the NGPC is a good solution for you. The system is small enough to fit in your pocket, and fun enough to give you HOURS of enjoyment for the little amount you'll pay for it.』
(Greatest system ever!!!!!!!!) 『I own all three neogeo systems and by far it is the best system ever made. It leaves gameboy in the dust.It is more powerful and battery life is superb. Here are a few specs. so you know what your getting. Neogeo supports a 16 bit color palette that can have as many as 146 colors out of 4,600 colors on the screen. It is relatively smaller than gameboy advance, but is a little bulkier. It fills right into your pocket so you can take it anywhere. Take my work, BUY THIS SYSTEM! You won't regret it.』
(Better than gba sp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 『I got the neogeo a long time ago and i still have it! the neogeo is very durable and is much better than the game boy advance sp.
2 SIMPLE WORDS: BUY IT』
『Look out, Game Boy Color. When it comes to serious portable gameplay, there's finally some legitimate competition for the popular Nintendo system (which has sold over 80 million units). If you dare to be different, consider the NEOGEO Pocket Color, a hand-held system created by the Japanese company SNK.
The screen is 10 percent bigger than Game Boy's, but the overall machine has roughly the same convenient pocket-sized dimensions and light weight as the Game Boy. The NEOGEO Pocket Color provides up to 40 hours of continuous fun on just two AA batteries. The 16-bit graphics are crystal clear--making it easy to tell the difference between humans and animals, friends and foes, and walls and doors--and easily viewed in both bright and dim lighting. The color palette has three times the range of its competitor's, with 146 possible shades. There is also a built-in calendar, daily horoscope, alarm clock, and global clock that can be accessed even without a game cartridge in the slot. Two players can go head-to-head with a simple cable connection (sold separately). NEOGEO is available in six different casing colors: silver, clear, blue, ocean blue, stone blue, and anthracite.
The only drawback is that NEOGEO is new and, therefore, playing catch-up to Nintendo's well-stocked list of titles, which boasts A-list offerings such asSuper Mario Brothers,Pokémon Pinball, andTetris. But SNK scores points for the few titles that it does offer for the system. Among the better titles for NEOGEO areDragons Wildvideo poker, arcade classicsBust-A-MoveandPac-Man, and your basic serve-and-volleyPocket Tennis. Most of these games are pretty addictive and perfectly suited to the well-designed, thumb-friendly, eight-position joystick.--Carrie Bell
Pros:
Better graphics than other portable players
Very good visibility in bright sun and dim light
Variety of fun colors
Cons:
NoPokémontitles yet
Response of the joystick isn't the best on games (such asCrush Roller) that require sharp, quick turns
IPhone 3G used's review (Great racing game) 『The Dukes of Hazzard is one of the best racing games I've played in a while, along with Grand Theft Auto and Driver. With the law chasing you throughout the game, it is a challenging and fun game, with beautiful graphics and fun music. Great buy.』
(OK GAME) 『My friend had this game already and said it was the best game he had. So I went to Wal-Mart and bought it. In my mind this game is not that fun! Unless you like driv'n around making lots of noise, out running cops and playing levels that are similar to the one you just beat don't get this game. Oh yeah, and if you do decide to buy it what ever you do don't link up with anyone to race. It will erase all of your progress and you can't even race against each other.』
(Can't get passed the bow shooting) 『This is one of the best games that I have ever played. The color is good and the graphics are awesome.Your are Bo and Luke Duke and the law is on your tail almost all the time. There are a lot of levels and I only got to the fifth one and you got to look for arrows and shoot stuff like barrels that you can't get passed. In some levels you can be Daisy or Uncle Jesse. You can race other people like Boss Hogg and Cooter. This is fun and awesome game.』
(Manic Racing/Adventure fun on the Gameboy!) 『What a surprise and a refreshing change...Dukes of Hazzard is fun, challenging, manic and amusing......it is all of that with the same driving buzz of 'driver'and 'Colin McRae' but with a beat em up-adventure race against time puzzle arcade cocktail of beautifully animated cars and colorful interacive isometric backgrounds....this game plays very well .......clever programming and effort which has been infused and then squeezed into this little cartridge to ensure such a convincing and fun experience....』 『Although it was a guilty pleasure of many to watch the TV show, no one needs to feel guilty playing DUKES OF HAZZARD: Racing for Home on the PlayStation. The storyline of the game is straight out of the show. The Dukes need to get to town to pay the mortgage or they'll lose the farm to Boss Hogg. Sounds like a simple assignment, but there's a gang of carjackers and Sheriff Roscoe P. Coletrane blocking their way. DUKES OF HAZZARD: Racing for Home is a mission-based racing game that puts you behind the wheel of all the great vehicles from the show, including Daisy's Jeep. Speaking of Daisy, she's there, along with favorites like Uncle Jessie, Cooter and Enos. The game features the actual voices of the stars, including Waylon Jennings as the guitar pickin' narrator. If you get tired of helping the Dukes, you and a friend can do some one-on-one racing in Two-Player mode.』 『Help the good old boys solve another Hazzard County mystery inThe Dukes of Hazzard: Racing for Homefor the Game Boy Color. There are full area maps to help Bo and Luke Duke keep track of the likes of Boss Hogg. The General Lee loves a race, and the variable terrain helps her drop a load of mud on the opposition's windshield. To make sure that the General Lee stays out of Cooter's shop, players should keep an eye on the collision meter. And, to make sure that the Duke boys stay out of the Graybar Hotel (get it?), players can take advantage of several hiding places to elude Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Which is better- GBC or GBA) 『I don't have this one but if I did, should I have the Game Boy Advance or Color? I have an Game Boy Advance player but I read Amazon.com compare GBA with GBC. So which is better, Game Boy Color or Game Boy Advance? If you answer Game Boy Color wher do I get a GBC? Where do I get this game anyway, besides here?』
(Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Review) 『I'm a Harry Potter fan and the day I bought this game, I played it, and I played it and I did it all day long, but one day, I think in the Valet Parking, someone stole it with my Gameboy Advance SP. Until this very day, I was looking for it and trying to get another one, but now I found it.
The game is cool, like the other Harry Potter games, but this one is my favorite because now we have the fourth game, so the first one is old now, but I like more the old ones, and specially if you never played it for, maybe two years or more.』
(The BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!) 『My sister and I really love this game!!!! We got it going on a trip years ago (before the GBA) And we still love, and play it. We are both level 99, and have all the spells! It is easy to understand and also challenging. We DEFINATELY recommend it to everyone!! And if you have an SP, it will help, the game is kinda dark, but if you don't, it is ok!』
(TOO MANY GLITCHES!!!!!!) 『ok i love this game, it's jsut that when i go out of the forbidden forest i have to defeat devil's snare and the knight and stuff but I DON't have mucas ad nauseam yet, which has to be found in the library!!!! i didn't even get to find the presents for christmas, so it just skipped i know this because i looked online for help on how to defeat voldemort and it says you have to have petrificus totalus and mucus ad nauseum! i didn't even get those so i can't defeat VOLDEMORT!!!!! i didn't hear snape and quirrel talking none of IT!!!!!! so i have to start all OVER AGAIN!!!!』
(THIS GAME IS AWESOME) 『well my cousin gave this to me about a month ago and it's COOL! but i have trouble finding the unicorn, it's so dark i can't see where i am, i wish i had it on gameboy advance, but yeah i still love it. it's hard though i mean although you have all these spells sometimes it's pretty easy to get defeated.』 『Cartridge Only
Unlike other game versions of the first Harry Potter book, the Game Boy Color rendition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a traditional roleplaying game, complete with NPCs to talk to and random beastie battles to challenge you. The game begins with the receipt of an acceptance letter into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From there, you (as Harry Potter, of course) will go shopping for your school supplies, catch the train on the 9 3/4 platform, take a boat ride, and finally arrive at your new home.』 『Leave the nonmagical world of the Muggles behind to play as Harry Potter in the Game Boy Color release ofHarry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Experience the wizardry, adventure, and thrills of life at Hogwarts.
As the game begins, you're starting your first year at Hogwarts. Explore the school and its grounds, gather items for potions, cast spells, and take on a range of adversaries in turn-based wizard challenges. Solve action-oriented puzzles with Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, and a host of unforgettable characters from the J.K. Rowling bookHarry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone--the book that started it all.
Colorful graphics render Harry's enchanted world in spirited detail, making the journey from Privet Drive to Diagon Alley and the Gringotts, then onto Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest, all the more fun. You can also trade and collect famous wizard cards to unlock rewards and increase Harry's skills. You can trade cards with a friend using a Game Link cable. 『Amazon.com Product Description
The Game Boy platform (which includes the original unit, the Game Boy Pocket, and the Game Boy Color) came to market when most video game consoles had a life expectancy of just a few years. More than a decade later, the system is still going strong. How did the Game Boy successfully compete--and in some cases bury--an onslaught of faster, more powerful handheld and home console systems? Let us count the ways: affordability, a huge library of games that consistently made the most of the hardware's limitations, smart power management that extended battery life, and uncluttered controls. But perhaps it was the system's ultraportable design that allowed devotees to play video games around their schedule, making it the must-have system for kids and adults alike. Now the Game Boy Advance (or GBA as people are already calling it) comes to us with power that would have been unthinkable back in the day. The portable's 32-bit RISC CPU runs circles around the former's 8-bit workhorse, allowing it to process program instructions much faster. What that means to everyday gamers is more intricate visuals, more simultaneous movement on the screen, and better sound. In fact, the often-annoying beeps and boops of old-school Game Boy titles are being replaced with digitized stereo sound. The extra processing muscle also means you can even network up to four Game Boy Advance units together, via the communication cable, for multiplayer fun off of one shared cartridge. Only two Game Boy Color units could link together, and each unit had to have its own copy of the game. What's not being replaced, however, is the wide selection of Game Boy games. Because the Game Boy Advance system is backward-compatible, it will play its own line of colorful games--including such launch titles as Super Mario Advance, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Army Men Advance, High Heat Major League Baseball 2002, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing: Round 2--as』
IPhone 3G used's review (Best Game on GameBoy Color!!) 『I got this game for Christmas a few years ago. I didn't want the game really, but I received it anyway, and I'm glad that I did. This game so much fun, that I have kept my GameBoy Color just so I can play this game. Yes, I know that you can play GameBoy Color games on GameBoy Advance or SP, but I don't feel like buying a GameBoy Advance or SP. Anyway, for a GameBoy Color game, this game has great graphics! When you start playing this game, you only have certain abilities. As you progess through the game, you unlock more places to go to and more powers for you to use. One thing that's great about this game is that you can't die. So, don't worry about getting killed! For each place in this game, there are four treasure chests to unlock. The object of this game is to find five music boxes. Trust me, it's not that hard. So, overall, this game is awesome! This game is most likely one of the best GameBoy Color games ever made. Buy This Game! IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!』
(Not as good as the first one but it surprizingly beats 4) 『I remember my friend who had wario land (mario land 3) an it was aswome! Then later i wanted to get the game but they didnt have it funcoland (gamestop)and wario land didnt come out yet (not even a gba, i was like 9 when this happened and im 12 now) an i had a blast when buying a used copy of this game! it has awsome graphics and the only thing wario land 4 beats this game on is the music but they both have cool music an i may have liked this the most over 1 but i hate the insanly difficult golf thing! it drives me mad! i beat all wario land games (my friend has 1 an 2 an i have 3 an 4 lol) an ya they are all great so even if u only have 1 warioland game an cant possibly get the others, just have fun with it!
Pros.
Perdy visuals fun puzzles immortal longer than other warioland games (when u get ALL treasures) turn into different stuff fun replay story easy to understand whether you have the instructions guide or not an story has fun twists (you will NEVER guess who the last boss is)
CONS
hard golf mini game can drive any player crazy collecting all treasures is fun to do again an again (bring on the road/planetrips) ...
Get this game wether u played a wario land game or not end of story!』
(ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER!!) 『This is an awesome game. I do not own it but I have played my friends game. If you are looking for a fun and challenging game then you should get Wario Land 3. Even though I do not own the game, I am going to buy it soon. This is one of the best video games ever and you should definetly get it.』
(Weakest link...) 『The concept of making Wario immortal was, in my opinion, a stroke of genius, and handled flawlessly in Warioland 2. In this game, however, it wears thin very quickly, especially in the Boss battles, where one hit is often enough to send Wario flying off the screen, making it almost impossible to beat any given boss in less then seven tries.
The game's level design must've looked good on paper, but is very poorly executed. You must go through each stage four or five times to find all the keys, chests and tresaures. Time of day is factored as well, and after finding a tresure almost every stage in the game is radically changed. For example, find the seeds in one level, and now there are huge vines growing everywhere in the levels you've already completed, allowing access to new areas and items. It can get very repetitives very quickly.
Also, for some reason, Warioland 3 has the worst graphics of the series. The first game even looks better. Backgrounds are almost nonexistant, textures are bland, and, although this game was the first made specifically for the Game Boy Color, Wario is made up of only two colors. Huh?
On top of all of this, you must track down your abilities, which Wario seems to have lost since the end of the last game. While this system worked wonders in Metroid Fusion, it's tedious and unnecissary in this game, the weakest of the otherwise outstanding Wario series.』
(The best game I have ever played...!?!?) 『The most awful mistake I have ever made as a gamer was selling my copy of Warioland 3. This is the most addictive game of all time. Period. No question...hands down...best.』 『While Wario was taking a ride in his private plane, the engine sputtered and he had to make an emergency landing. Taking refuge in a cave, he stumbles upon a magical music box. The box sucks him inside, where he comes across an odd fellow who claims to have been the ruler of the music box world. He cannot regain control until he finds five small music boxes. Wario agrees to help find the boxes in exchange for all of the treasure he can find and a ticket out of the music box. You take control of the invincible Wario as he travels throughout the kingdom. Even though Wario is invincible, enemies still pose a problem. When a bad guy hits him, Wario will be afflicted with some temporary effect. Utilizing these side effects is key to solving some of the game's more challenging puzzles. Help Wario find treasure and maybe a music box or two in WARIO LAND 3.』 『TheWario Landseries stands as one of the most innovative on the Game Boy Color, and with each new release we are left wondering how Nintendo is going to top itself with subsequent releases. Somehow they've managed to improve on the game's magical formula once again withWario Land 3, which is not only the best Wario game ever released, but also one of the best Game Boy Color games, period.
Most games require cheat codes before players get unlimited lives, but the gameplay ofWario Land 3revolves around the concept of invincibility. Wario can't die, but the various creatures in the game can transform him temporarily into an alternate form. Get hit by a zombie, and you turn into a zombie until you are healed by light from a street lamp. Let the mad professor hit you with his potion and you become invisible, meaning security cameras can't see you, but you also can't see yourself to make precision jumps. Each alternate form has a specific strength and weakness, and figuring out how to use the transformations to solve puzzles is half of the game's fun. It may seem counterintuitive, but to succeed at this game you'll need to deliberately try to get hit by certain enemies at various points in the game. Is this the anti-Mario, or what?
The graphics are clear and colorful, and the animations for both Wario and the other denizens of the land he's trapped in are very fluid. The sound effects are so-so, but the strange soundtracks that play on each level are catchy. Considering the limitations of the Game Boy Color, it's nice to have a game that combines some of the best graphics the system can output with some of the most phenomenal gameplay ever developed for any title.--T.
