IPhone 3G used's review (Fun and exciting) 『This game is very fun. You never know what kind of fish you have hooked. It's very realistic. Even the weather changes in this game. If you want challenging fishing fish in the tournament. If you want some fun but just to relax, play in the Free Fishing. But I like the Tournament. And the good thing is that you have like 7 places to fish at, even in the ocean.
I'm not a very good fishergal in the real life but I am in the gameplay. Which is cool.』
(Who would have thought fishing could be so good on Gameboy) 『This is such a good game. You can catch 32 different fish and fish in 6 salt and fresh water locations. The fish are hard to catch if you don't use the right lure or don't fish in the right spots. But if you take the advice of the pro.'s you'll be reeling in a lunker in no time. Also, if you've hooked a big one, he will give you quite a fight and you might even loose him and your hook if you don't reel him in properly. The tournaments are so cool as well, there is a lot of hype about it when in the game, and you have to qualify to get to the Champs. A must buy.』

IPhone 3G used's review (The Best) 『Sarges Heroes 2 was the best game I have ever had for my Game-Boy Color. The graphics are even 3-D or at least they look so much like it that you think they really are. The game play is great. The enemys start off very easy but then get progressively harder as you move through the 30 some odd levels. You don't actually get to play as Sarge but you never see the character come out of their special vehicle so it doesn't really matter. The only really bad part about the whole thing is that the vehicles move so slow that sometimes it takes 20 minutes just to complete one level. All in all Sarges Heroes 2 really deserves it's 5 out of 5.』
(Very Cool Game-But.) 『Lets start with the pros. You get to drive in tanks, motorcycles, boats and more. You also get to pick who you want to be. The conns are that you dont get to walk in the game. The graphics also need improvement, but it's still a good game. It's a 4 star game.』
(Not pleased) 『This game is hard to control, very slow moving and very DARK. I tried putting in new batteries, standing in lots of lighting and even using a worm light, and it's still very hard to see anything. I would not recommend this game.』
(Great despite some minor flaws) 『I would like to fix the mistake that was made. In this game for the GBC, you don't play in the toy store, pinball machine, and the refrigerator. There aren't 25 missions, there are 30. You get to fight in the desert, arctic, ocean, plasticville, and the jungle. Now that i cleared things up, let's get to the details. This game was great despite minor flaws. The first flaw was, there wasn't that many healing signs (the ones that have pluses ont them) in certain levels. Sometimes they're far deep in the level that by the time you get to them, you're dead. i feel there should've been more of them, in levels that are difficult like mission 30, 26, etc... Also, there wasn't any point in the game where you can save your progress. what i mean by this is, in the middle of the level, there should be a save point, that way when you die, you don't have to start from the beginning. These two flaws plagued me throughtout the game, but i was able to overcome them. Overall, the game was great though. I liked it alot. The part that i most liked was when i destroyed several buildings in plasticville and the Tan army. For those people who like destruction, i highly recommend that u get this game now before it's disscontinued.』
(Not very fun) 『This is overall not a very good game. It is hard to control and there is no aimer. It is also very hard to make out the enemys. The only thing good is that the graphics are pretty good. The game is also boring. You have to go around looking for enemys and you move slow. If you get lost, it takes forever to get back. Do not spend your money on this game!!!』 『Cartridge Only』 『Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2continues the long tradition of plastic soldiers blowing each other up. While gameplay remains true to the originalSarge's Heroes, a new plot drives the gameplay. In addition to having to deal with the likes of General Plastro and his Tan army, Sarge and the gang must deal with the diabolical Blue spy Brigitte Bleu. In order to aid Sarge in stopping the threat to the Green nation, players control other Green army soldiers, including Scorch, Riff, and Sarge's girlfriend Vikki. There are 25 missions in which to accomplish a variety of objectives in new environments like a toy store, a refrigerator, and a pinball machine. To aid in the Green army's success, players will have access to nine vehicles, including a motorcycle, hang glider, helicopter, tank, and Osprey.』 fetish『 Trouballs 』

『If you're ready for explosive, mind-twisting puzzle-action mayhem then grab a copy of TROUBALLS from Capcom. In this massively addictive game developed exclusively for the Game Boy Color, it's up to you to gain as many points as you can while the clock ticks down. Here's how it works: different colored balls are attached to moving gears; you rotate the gears in an attempt to get four balls of the same color aligned (in a 2x2 square grid at the bottom of the screen), which blows them to smithereens. This clears the stage and advances you to the next level. There's no time to rest though, as each successive round of sphere-blasting fun is more difficult than the last. You'll listen to five original songs in the challenging, pop-and-bop gameplay that confronts you on more than 100 fast-moving levels. If you couldn't get enough of TETRIS or BUST-A-MOVE, then you'll love TROUBALLS to pieces.』 『The puzzle gameTrouballsstarts by crowding the screen with balls of different colors. The object of the game is to eliminate the balls by rotating clusters so that like colors match up and disappear. The game is simple to play at first, but like all good puzzle games, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep pace. As the balls disappear, those on top fall through, making strategy and forethought key. The game comes with a password save feature, so you can come back to the game without repeating levels you've already cleared.』 fetish『 Dragon Warrior III 』

IPhone 3G used's review (Metal (er, golden) oldie) 『So, recently I have started to complete all of the Dragon Warrior/Quest titles and I didn't have this one so naturally I made the purchase. I was pretty intrigued by the personality system at first, it makes character creation that much more fun. The story is okay, nothing spectacular per usual, but the nostalgia and memories make up for this. The difficulty is up there and if you're not willing to sink 30 minutes to an hour leveling every once in a while you might find this game not for you.
The only thing that annoys me is the white background for battles, but I'll forgive it since this game is long and will take me a while to beat, just what I wanted.
I'd say if you've played any Dragon Quest game before and liked it, then you'll definitely love this one since you can even make your own team right from the beginning.』
(this is a very good game) 『hi i have a dragon warrior and its very fun but its old and it is so old that i was playing .I turned of me gameboy and turned it back on later and it had no memory so i have to start a new game.It would be so awsome if you made it a gameboy advance game with new monsters and other thing so it dosnt forget the memory. p.s I like your other games also. sincerly game payer』
(A great remake!) 『They took the original Dragon Warrior III and made it better. I grew up with this series, and I recall the third installment having a lot of bugs. For example, you could end up with a character that wouldn't develope certain stats. I had a mage once, and for about 5 levels, it didn't get any extra hit points with the level ups. By the time I was at level 10 and my warrior could kill my mage with one hit, I realized I should restart before getting too far. By 10th level the second time through, my wizard's hp was about doubled... Well, you don't have to worry about that in this version, as they seemed to have fixed it. You can also customize your characters a little when you make them by giving them seeds. Some additions to the maps and game play were also noticed. Those who've played DWIV or DWVII here in the states should recall finding small medals. Well, they're here now too. There are some gaming locations (casino like) as well. A great buy and highly recommended for any RPG fan with a GBC/GBA/DS』
(Will be that is the difference of each culture?) 『I am surprised to the opinions that there are some game users that do not like Dragon warrior(Japanese game title:Dragon Quest). Neddless to say, in Japan the most famouse and high quality and great story games are Final Fantasy series and this Dragon Warior series. FF series may be a little high level on the CG. But even now DG warrior series get high value from the broad game users in Japan.
Concretly, the music, graphic and story is that. The person that have made the DW music is Kouichi Sugiyama. He was once a member of Japan popular band Garo. And he knew about classical music very much too. He be active as a conducter of DA musical orchestra even now. His high level and nostalgic music sence have gotten many Japanese geme user hearts. For instance, the field music or battle music are that. The music characters are not always this 7 only, all the DW series will be that.
Secondly, the monster character drawing is Akira Toriyama. Needless to say, he was the maker of the most popular Japanese anime, Dragon Ball. He had gotten the fan by this anime before DW. His making picture is very cute and in other case is terrible. It was a great creater that could draw the both way. In additon to, he have the scence that get children hearts, and lead the nostalgy of adults even.
Thirdly, the story, that is, Yuuji Horii is that. the first DW series was reliesed before about 20 years by Nintendou Family Computer. I was a game user that bought the DW1. I was very surprised the story in that time even, that is, the combination story of Japanese historical story and old Europ knight story. Though it was the story that I had not experienced, I felt the nostargy.
By above three points mainly, I recommend the DW series rather than FF series. But when I read the U.S.A reviewers on this site, I knew that there are game users who do not like DW series compared with Japanese users. I am afraid a little, but I understood what the difference might be the culture difference in the both countries. In fact, recently FF series have made in Hawai, U.S.A, on the other hands, DW series have made in Japan only. FF maker, Square company may be consiouse of U.S.A commercial market.
But I think that the soft that can feel the truth Japan game mind will be DW series. DW series is what have been collected long Japanese history, animation, pop music etc. If you are DW fans, may be true Japanese culture fans at the same time.
Thank you for my poor writing. and sorry for the spell miss.』
(A Classic Game in an Under-Appreciated Series.) 『First off, let it be known that I have played the initial release of this game when it was on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). It was the first truely great RPG I have ever had the fortune to play, keeping in mind that I'd played Dragon Warrior 1 before that (not a fan of 1 vs 1 combat) and that I don't really consider Legend of Zelda an RPG (Action/Adventure in my book). The game was long, fun, and an amazingly deep in story for a game that old. Only problem is it was a rental and I didn't get to finish it (I was on the last battle too).
Fast forward 11 years...
I bought a copy of this game on Amazon.com Marketplace for the GBC, since I knew I'd enjoy it again. That was truer than I expected.
The core gameplay is all here, so any fans of the NES version will love this one as much, if not more. Like most Japanese RPGs, the combat is turn-based and consists of standard fantasy elements. Swords, magic, and several monsters to fight (including the well known slimes, who always feel the need to grin despite the fact that you'll run them through). What amazes me is the amount of tactics involved in battles compared to other recent RPGs, such as the Final Fantasy games. The FF games rarely give you a run for your money in standard fight (perhaps with the exception of FF4), but with DW3 almost any battle has the potential to go horribly wrong, making you struggle to win. Most notable is when status effects are involved. Sometimes you'll find that your entire party has been put to sleep by a spell, or someone can be paralyzed, or a monster will boost their defense. Each of these has a counter, but sometimes you'll run into the bad luck of having it happen to the wrong person or that you didn't plan ahead of time with the right items to remove the effect. Running is always an option, but you take your chances with this, as a failed run will leave you open to more damage.
The graphics are much improved. This is the first game in the series I've seen with animated sprites for the enemies, and those are amazingly fluid. The rest of the graphics are improved as well, and make it seem almost SNES quality at times. The amount of items is greatly expanded, and item management is a lot easier thanks to a bag shared by the party that you can put everything in (you won't have access to those items during combat, though). Plus, there are several bonus touches, like a mini-game called Pachisi where you can earn bonus items (and most of them are pretty good items at that, like weapons), as well as two bonus dungeons, though unlocking the second one is a rather painful process requiring you to collect 144 unique monster medals... and those rarely appear after finishing of a monster.
If you've never heard of the series, and you're a fan of turn-based battles, this game is certainly a worthy introduction to the series. You'll wonder why this game series hasn't gotten huge sales numbers anywhere except Japan. Even more so if you've had the chance to play DWIV』 『Your father was a legendary hero of Aliahan who was killed by the Archfiend Baramos. Now, you are 16 years old and must continue your father's quest and destroy Baramos. However, you will not take on this challenge alone. Choose three allies from eight character classes. If you need to, you can change a characters class at any point in the game. Travel throughout the day and night to visit more than 40 castles, towns, villages, and shrines. Naturally, you and your friends will have to fight a large number of enemies while on this adventure. Luckily, there is an expanded list of spells, weapons, and armor to choose from. Try to get your revenge in DRAGON WARRIOR III.』 『Originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System,Dragon Warrior IIIis a Game Boy Color port of one of the all-time classic role-playing games. The game reunites two of Japan's greatest RPG talents in Yuji Horii (story and game) and Akira Toriyama (character design). Toriyama is also known as the creator of the immensely popular Dragon Ball cartoons and comics. A prequel to the first two games in the series,DWIIIcasts you as the child of a great hero who must defeat an evil demon. New additions to the port include improved graphics, new minigames, new items, and a better translation of the original Japanese dialogue.
The game starts off with a personality test that loosely determines how other characters will react to you. Gameplay is standard RPG fare: exploring, building experience levels, acquiring allies, gaining weapons, and ultimately going after a large monster. There are some interesting minigames to mix things up. The Monster Medals feature adds a collectible aspect to the game. Monsters may leave medals behind after you defeat them. Some monsters only appear during certain times of the day. Getting all the medals unlocks a secret dungeon. You can trade medals via link cable to make things easier. Most RPG fans will love this game, but those raised on modern RPGs might find its combat a bit tedious. This game is compatible with Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance only.--Raymond M. Padilla
IPhone 3G used's review (RISING TACO!) 『Most fighting game fans love SNK's King of Fighters. But before that, there was Fatal Fury: basically the same game, but with different characters and more basic moves. Fatal Fury was a pretty cool game when it debuted, but it got even better as it picked up the pace in the later installments. Granted, Fatal Fury is nowhere near as popular as King of Fighters (tough it still holds its own), and for me, the action isn't as intense, but you gotta hand it to SNK for releasing a new Fatal Fury game for the NeoGeo Pocket Color a few years back. Sure, the system was doomed, being released at the same time as the Pokemon phenom, but this was an instant classic, and something the GameBoy Color wouldn't get: a good fighting game.
If you've never played a Fatal Fury game before, that doesn't matter. The NGPC version tosses out a story mode and goes straight into the fights. Aside from vs mode, the main game lets you pick your character and throws you right into the action. Terry, Andy, Joe, Mai, Xiang Fei, Rick, Billy Kane, Geese, Krauser, Kim and Yamazaki are at your disposal. For the most part, it doesn't matter who you pick...though Andy, Joe and Geese have some pretty cheap moves. You fight through a couple of opponents before taking on the boss of the Fatal Fury games: Geese. After that, it's over, and you're encouraged to try out the other characters. It doesn't sound like much, but fighting games are addicting, and you'll want to try out some of the characters who you thought looked stupid but turned around and took you out in 10 seconds. Gameplay is simple- the A and B buttons do the attacks, two versions of each depending on how hard you press either one, and using the control stick in different movements along with an attack button results in various special attacks. From Terry's Rising Tackle (which sounds like "Rising Taco" when he says it in the console versions) to Mai's fan throws, there's a lot of special moves that all come in handy. Some are upward attacks, others send you flying to the other side of the screen, and some are of course, fireball type attacks. And then there's Billy Kane, whose attacks are all just plain cheap in general and will take you out in like 4 hits if you walk into them. Vs mode is self-explanitory: link up your NGPC with a friend's and fight to your heart's desire. You even get an extra character in this mode to use.
The graphics look great for "just" a handheld fighting game. The sprites are basically chibi versions of their adult forms, and it works. Terry and Yamazaki in particular. Surprisingly, the animations aren't as stiff as you'd expect, though it takes characters a moment to get back up once knocked down for some reason. Backgrounds look A LOT like how they do in the big brother versions of Fatal Fury. The train tracks, arenas, streets, everything's here. As for the sound, it's alright. You won't remember any of the tracks after you stop playing. I know that I haven't, and I've had this game since June. Sadly, there are no voices for the special moves. I would've loved to hear "RISING TACO!" on a handheld from a chibi Terry. And sound effects are pretty simple too. As in "SWISH!" for spin kicks and simple crashing sounds for punches contacting. But, as with the graphics, they work.
There isn't that much replay to this game, especially since hardly anyone has a NGPC any more. So you'll most likely be stuck with the single player mode. But it'll quench your thirst for a good fighting game when you're on the go. Even in this age of the DS and PSP, neither has a worth while fighter, and neither has a good enough d-pad/control stick to pull off some of the moves.』
(Short but sweet) 『If you have ever played a King of Fighters or Fatal Fury game, then you know what to expect. I was suprised to find that most moves from the other games worked incredibly well considering you are playing the game with only two buttons and a control stick. With this simplified translation I was pulling off moves for familiar characters right off the bat. There are 12 characters (13 if you count the special secret character only availible in 2-player mode) and they all handle differently and have their own unique moves. The graphics are great. The backgrounds are colorful and diverse, and the characters themselves, although cartoonish, are well-animated and look excellent. The music on the other hand gets old. Its nothing to turn the sound off over though, especially since the sound effects are pretty decent. My only other complaint is that this game is very short. There are only 8 stages, 9 if you meet certain conditions, and most of them are very easy. Only the boss characters are a challange. There are only two modes, single player arcade mode and two player vs mode. I would have liked to have seen a training mode to practice some of the characters moves, as some of the ultimates are tricky to pull off. I havent played the vs mode, but Im sure playing against your friends is lot of fun, since each character handles so differently. I had a good time with this game, and its a great handheld fighter. If they had just added a couple different modes I would have given it a better score.』
(Good fighting game with some cool characters and moves.) 『I bought this game with the NGPC and I thought it was a reletively good game with OK replay value. It looks great for a handheald game. Many hours at work will pass by faster because of this game :).』
(It's fun, but it doesn't last long) 『The graphics for this one are great. I didn't notice any problems, and the weird character proportioning (Geese, for example, has arms longer than his legs) seems like a superdeformed drawing style, not an error. There are only two real problems with this game, as I see it. 1) It's too short. There are plenty of characters, but the difficulty makes it easy to win every time. 2) The bosses (Billy Kane, Geese, and Krauser) are very hard. Of course, I expected this because SNK always makes hard bosses. Everything else is great.』 『The popularFatal Furyfighting game franchise is a welcome addition to the software-starved NEOGEO system. Eleven familiar fighters return to duke it out street style in this game, which allows you to go head-to-head against your friends via a pocket link cable (sold separately). AlthoughFatal Furyclearly is inspired by Japanese anime (note the abundance of wildly colored hair and giant eyes), it also has a strong American flavor in style and design. This game works more or less like other fighting games--pick a character and then fight your way using fast button punching and multiple special moves. However,Fatal Furyoffers much less in the way of a plot than similar fighting games for the NEOGEO, such asKing of FightersandSamurai Shodown.
You see much less of the personality of your fighter--although each fighter does tend to have innovative moves and intriguing fighting props, such as killer fans. We found the learning curve for this game to be less steep than in other fighting games, which makes it easier to plow through and see all the hidden goodies.--Carrie Bell
Pros:
A nice combination of cool characters and good fighting options
Moves are easy to pick up
Fair amount of female fighters
Cons:
Little background information on the history or traits of these fighters

IPhone 3G used's review (Coolest GameBoy Color Game) 『The intro is the best I have ever seen. The rotating 3-D menu is superb. The graphics and animation are amazing. The sound effects will blow your ear drums. The screen scrolls pretty smooth. This game is worth to go for. Value for money. May the Force be with you.』
(A stunning technological acheivement) 『I just read about the game on the web, and I heard that it was good, so I bought it. It's a very simple shoot everything in sight type of game, and the gameplay is quite addictive; however, there's not variety, so you may not like it if you have a short attention span. You control two men, both equipped with machine guns with unlimited ammo. You can also find granades, jeeps, helicopters, and snow caterpillers, and "big guns" (huge guns that you set into and then launch explosives from) to help you. So far, it seems like an average game. But as soon as you turn on the GBC, you will soon realize its not. The opening is a comic FMV sequence (yes, FMV) that is extremely detailed, and if it weren't for the GBC's resolution, it would easily pass as a cutscene from a Final Fantasy game. It also has a song playing, and it is digitized and with voice, although the quality isn't all that great. (However, there are no more FMV sequences anywhere else in the game, except for the ending, but that's just a bunch of still shots.) But anyway, it's still stunning to see it on the GBC. And then, once you start playing the game, there are screams, shouts, explosions, and a bit of British humor ("My trousers are ruined!") whenever you kill someone, all in incredibly clear digitized speech, far clearer than the opening. And, the in-game graphics are quite detailed. The game really has to be played to be believed. On the down side, it's a bit frustrating whenever you lose one of your men, as you only get 10 more for every completed mission. But each of them will be stored in the memory game save, each and every one of their names, their number of kills, and how they died ("blown to bits," "target practice for the enemy," that type of thing). It's amusing just to scroll down the list of soldiers who have died, and also, the list of your top five soldiers. In short, this game is one of the best for the rapidly-dying GBC. It's also very hard to find, so I would definitely recommend getting it now!』
(A game above average) 『If you ever played the snes version back in 1995, you know what to except from this game. This is a little war game with lots of levels and replayability. The sound is very well done, as are the cutscenes. If you want an addictive and long lasting game, try it you won't be dissappointed.』

I hadn't heard of it until I walked into a Funcoland store and the dude recommended it to me. It is a must-have for the GBC!』

With a humorous edge added to the concept of war, this game oozes personality. Youll traverse snowy plains, dense jungles, and populated villages packed with enemies, and youll be able to commandeer a variety of vehicles and weapons, all in the name of warfare. Bubbles' nurturing personality shines in the video game, as you help her collect power-ups and battle the infamous, evil "Him." She might be an elementary school student, but she'll prove just how dedicated she is to crime fighting, as you help Bubbles shoot her way through level after level of original action. Many of the items that you collect throughout the adventure can be traded for others via friends playing the other POWERPUFF GIRLS games on their systems. Although it's a one-player game, the trading aspect gives the experience a significantly interactive element. Of course, the brilliant sense of humor from the cartoon series is present throughout the adventure, as are all of the other characters you've come to love. Handheld video games just don't get much more creative (or fun) than this.』 『The Powerpuff Girls 3: Battle Himfeatures the caring Bubbles, who saves ally characters and averts impending disaster while the other two girls are in reserve for super attacks. The side-scrolling game has multiscreen maps in which our heroine dodges obstacles, collects power-ups, destroys enemies, and ultimately fights the featured villains to save Townsville. The villainous Him, Seduca, and Mr. Mime all use evil psychological tricks to attack Bubbles's sensitive nature. Players can collect and trade electronic game cards with a friend's copy of the game via the separately sold Game Boy Link Cable, as well as engage in two-player head-to-head action. Secret passwords unlock new game features, including trading cards and hidden powers.』
