Now the gang must race Pete's henchmen to win back the decorations. Each character has a number of races to complete in order win back the decorations, for a total of 20 courses in all. Some take place on land, others on the water, and some on both. By winning races, the characters earn tokens that can be used to open new tracks or buy vehicle upgrades. In addition to the racing, there are number of mini-games to be discovered. Try to beat Pete's henchmen and reclaim the decorations in MICKEY'S RACING ADVENTURE.』

Anyway, the game seems like two short games when you first get it, because you get a mission where you play as X and fight four bosses, and a mission where you play as Zero and fight four other bosses. After the four, you get an option to switch between X and Zero while playing, and then you tackle the Soul Erasers' fortress. The best part, though, is that if you beat one mission, save, and then beat the other mission, you gain access to Xtreme Mode, in which you fight all eight bosses (like a normal Mega Man game) and you can switch between X and Zero at any time (except in certain places, when they're supposedly both fighting at the same time in different places). You can get items to make the game easier by collecting DNA Souls from destroyed enemies (so if you're no good, just collect Souls for a while until you can buy the Ultimate Buster, Buster Plus 2, Speed Shot, Hyper Dash, and so on). This makes the game more accessible to less experienced players, while not ruining the difficulty for the hardcore Maverick Hunters out there. As always, there are capsules you can find that give X upgrades; what's unusual is that Zero gets upgrades now, too, although they mostly kinda suck (except the Zero Final, now THAT rocks). As usual, each boss takes a buttload of damage from another's weapon... but in the single-character missions, you won't have the weapon one of them is weak to, so'll have to use your peashooter--erm, X-Buster--to take him out. And of course, you still have Sub-Tanks for storing extra energy (this really comes in handy against the Xtreme mode final boss, who is... no, I won't spoil it, and if you care you probably know already). The graphics are pretty much the same as the first Xtreme, which was pretty good for Game Boy non-advance. The bosses they used this time around are Neon Tiger, Volt Catfish, Launch Octopus, Flame Mammoth, Wire Sponge, Overdrive Ostrich, Blast Hornet, and Tunnel Rhino. Each one has his original music (sometimes slightly remixed); the rest of the music (title screen, etc.) is taken from X2, except the victory music which is a slight remix of the X1 version. Overall, it's a great combination of elements from old MMX games, with some new stuff added in to boot. It would have been nice if the translation had been a bit better ("Reploid Research Lavatory"), but that doesn't really affect the gameplay.』

TheAbeseries is also known for the devious action-based side-scrolling puzzles that make up the bulk of its gameplay, and the same style of play is carried over into this game. You can possess enemies and control their bodies to solve puzzles, leap from platform to precarious platform, and manipulate levers, just like in the PlayStation games. Unfortunately, many of the puzzles inOddworld Adventures 2require precise control, which this title sadly lacks. If you were a huge fan of Abe's antics on the PlayStation or PC, you might be able to forgive this game's bad graphics enough to enjoy the mildly challenging puzzles in this handheld version.
