(Ben 10: Race Against Time......) 『Directed by Alex Winter(who starred in The Lost Boys&Bill&Ted's Excellent Adventure) comes Ben 10: Race Against Time; a live-action movie based on the Ben 10 cartoon show from Cartoon Network. Ben 10 is about ten-year-old Ben Tennyson's discovery of a device called the Omnitrix that allows him to change his form into that of ten aliens. Hence the name of Ben 10. The plot revolves around an alien known as Eon. Grandpa Max tells Ben that Eon was the first alien the Plumbers(a group he is part of) ever faced, and that they thought they'd locked him up. Instead, when Grandpa Max leads the kids there, they find out Eon has escaped. Grandpa Max feels that Eon will be after his doomsday device known as the Hands of Armageddon. Heatblast, Wildmutt, Diamondhead&Grey Matter were the only alien forms presented in the movie and were a real blast to see. I really loved the movie myself. It does the series justice. I wish Cartoon Network would make more movies of Ben 10 or a live-action tv series...it would definitely be cool if they did.
The movie stars: Lee Majors, Graham Phillips, Haley Ramm, Christien Anholt and Robert Picardo. It clocks in at around 90 minutes and is the most fun you'll ever waste your time on. I really liked this movie and plan to get into the series alot more. Check it out!!!

All were fun playing on my 42" HDTV so I thought I try their Boxing game as well. Resolution isn't HD level but it's passable and the game playability is high. Boxing really gets the cardio going. Training, Exhibtion or Championship bouts all keep you highly involved. You will feel like you had a good work out. And for us adults, it will show you how many calories burned. Best of all, it simply lots of fun! If I were to offer SSD any suggestions. They would be: Upgrade the console's composite output to include HDMI and offer more game packages!!! 』

I'm sure the next season of Ben 10 will only continue to draw in more people as the word catches on about this quirky yet appealing show.』

(Relivin' Saturday Morning FUN with your nephews, and nieces) 『I was watching TV (Cartoon Network, of course!) with my younger brother's boys, and my younger sister's girls. Shows like Kids Next Door, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, two shows okay for kids, but left me talking to them about the cartoons that "I" watched when I was their age: The Herculoids, Space Ghost, etc. They sat there listening to me talk about these shows, and how cool they were to me, when my youngest nephew says "Ben 10". I asked them what that was and they tell me its about a boy that can turn into 10 alien monsters to fight bad guys, kinda like the cartoons that I watched, but way better! It comes on right after Foster's. Well an hour later (they showed two episodes in a row of Ben 10) I was hooked! Ben 10 has a very interesting storyline (even for adults), and very cool Alien/Monster designs. The two episodes I watched dealt with "Ghostfreak" one of Ben's aliens escaping from the Omnitrix, and trying to merge its form with Ben's so it can survive in the sunlight, and commit horrible things. This was actually kind of a creepy character, and a dark story, I loved it! And so did the kids. As I said before, I was hooked! I watched this show every chance that I could with them, and now I own them all in the 3 DVD sets that have been released so far. If you are an adult that still likes cartoons, or just want to have something that is very fun, and entertaining for the kids to watch, you need to get Ben 10!』 『Ben Tennyson was just an average 10-year-old kid– until he discovered a strange alien watch in a crashed meteorite. (Crap adaptation of the first in the series.) 『This game is a bare-bones adaptation of the first GTA which was released for PS and PC. The PC version had some wonky controls regarding turning, but the GBC has problems getting you to even WALK, let alone everything else. The cites are outright barren, you'll be lucky if you ever see another car and even if you do, you don't jack that car, you just hop right in. The police, your constant enmies don't chase so much as they just appear from nowhere and instantly capture you. Seirously, this "game" feels more like an Alpha-test build of GTA 1 than an actual game. Plus, Rockstar now has released GTA 1 for the PC as freeware, so why pay for such a sub-par adapatation? If you must have GTA to go, check out the new GBA version which not only has it's own story, but actually plays like a finished GTA game.』

The graphics are decent and no compliants from that part of the game, but the overall game play is lacking. It is quite common for you to walk down a mainstreet and not see a car for miles. The police rarely come after you. I've had four cop heads one me(means I was a bad bad boy) and been able to walk around town without a cop ever coming after me. The steering system in cars is very poor and hard to turn. When you turn your car it looks cheesy and very unrealistic. The basic premise remains intact: you play the role of a hoodlum trying to work your way up the ladder of crime. This is accomplished by committing hundreds of unsavory acts, from simple carjacking to complex missions assigned by the city's crime lords. Eventually the cops become wise to your evil deeds and hunt you down, which adds an extra layer to the gameplay.
The problems with this conversion are numerous. City streets that should be teeming with traffic are mostly bare. It's difficult even to find a car to steal, and actually driving the ungainly beasts is even harder due to poor turning-radiuses and a terrible control scheme. Die-hard fans of the original might like this, but everyone else should opt for the superior PlayStation or PC versions.--T. Byrl Baker
