(Quite a challenge, but fun...) 『Conker's Pocket Tales is a pretty good game for the GBC, though it can be very frustrating at times due to the fact that you can loose lives so quickly.
Conker's birthday party has been ruined by an Evil Acorn (yes, an acorn), and he's stolen Conker's gifts and his friend, Berri. It is up to you to get his presents back and defeat a variety of the Evil Acorn's bosses to get to Berri.
This game is pretty addictive, but once again, it's frustrating and sometimes it gets hard. What is a game without a good challenge, though? I would not recommend this game to fairly young children or people with low tolerance for games like this one. Overall, Conker's Pocket Tales is a fun game. If you can overlook the frustrating parts, you will probably really enjoy this game!』
(Hope you bought it used!) 『I find this to be an annoying but addictive game. The maps are barely any use and you don't get your own. Otherwise it's O.K. I just beat it and you get much of an ending. You most likely have to get everything just to get a good ending. I'd suggest spending money on somthing else.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Slippery) 『I ordered two of this kind in particular because they were the least expensive. Well, the reason I ordered them at all was because I didn't want the controllers slipping out of hands in the midst of the excitement of playing active games. The products looked nice, but were far more slippery than with no cover at all. I ordered them "used" from a private seller, yet brand new. I paid more in shipping than the product itself, so it's not worth returning. Yet, it's so slippery, that I will not even be putting them on controllers. They would work better inside out, yet look "dirty" that way. But still more slippery than no cover at all. I'm pretty sure that if I took them on and off a few times, they would tear. They don't retain their shape around the openings very well either. If I had it to do again, I would not order silicone. In fact, if I tried to purchase again, I'd buy in a store where I could see them real well first to be sure of getting a decent texture.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Classic Adventure Gaming at it's Best!) 『Back in the day when this game came out for the Nintendo adventure games were still huge and popular. I remember seeing this game in the store and saved every penny I earned so that I could buy it. After purchasing it and tearing into the box like a madman I sat down to play one of the most enjoyable adventure games ever. The setting was very cool and creepy. I think that my favorite part of the game was the music. The music made you feel right at home in the creepy castle. Shadowgate had to be one of the toughest games out there. Back then internet was unheard of in homes and the only place to get a hint was by calling 1-900 numbers which my parents never let me do. So I got stuck in the game and never finished until years later when I could find hints on the internet. To finally complete the game was very fulfilling. I played through it many times after that and each time was just as good as the first. Now I don't know if it was a good idea for Nintendo to re-release it in the current age of gaming. Adventure gaming now is almost dead and all the kiddies now like action, action and more action. So while this may be a slow game and not filled with action every second, if you take time to appreciate it for what it does then you will have a rich and rewarding experience.』

(Creepy, fun and deadly!) 『Shadowgate Classic for Gameboy is great. The graphics are wonderful and the music is pretty good. The game is much easier than the PC version; Torches burn longer to compensate for maneuvering the cursor and interface. Certain spells can be recast and you can carry a lot more than you could in the PC version. The game is very deadly; trying to kill you almost from the start and has an interesting, creepy feel to it when you play. The interface and programming is a little similar to Deja Vu 1 and 2, and like that game, it has a great website. Great replay value too!』

The origional Nintendo game is said to be exactly like Shadowgate Classic for the Nintendo Game Boy Console. The puzzles inside of the game can be very confusing and there are over one-thousand ways to die from incompetence; but just remember to save your game after every crucial decision you make. Yet, if all else fails, it is wise to consult a game walkthrough, because you do not want to become stuck trying to kill a wraith for 3 months like my son did.
