IPhone 3G used's review (Collector's items) 『The Tomb Raider franchise has had its ups and downs, so the three forays onto the miniscule Game Boy proscenium are understandably received with eyebrow raised. The first Tomb Raider for Game Boy Color (simply called Tomb Raider) was an immense surprise, since I did not expect to see Lara Croft rendered in such convincing animation. Reviewers seem to give that game high marks, and I have to agree - the game is playable, and actually fun. Then this one, Curse of the Sword, comes along. The animations are nearly as well done as the original, but seem slightly stodgy, as though some of the subtlety has been dropped out in favor of clarity. GBC TR1 sometimes hides items behind the scenery, making them hard to see; GBC TR2 actually blinks the medipaks and other items with a white flash, making cognitive skills hardwon in the first game unnecessary in the second. But what is done well, is done well. By contrast, the Game Boy Advance offering in the series, Prophecy, has bad graphics - Lara Croft is a cartoon who runs like a dork, with unvarying 90 degree leg bends like a swastika. The GBA character is not Lara, but an idea of Lara utterly lacking charm or nuance. The GBC characters, by contrast, transcend their tiny frames with brilliantly conceived animations that actually suggest a human being, or at the very least, the Playstation or Macintosh Lara viewed small. These are all collector's items.』
(Excellent game) 『I found this game to be almost as enjoyable as the first Tomb Raider game for Gameboy Colour. The action was plentiful, and there were some interesting puzzles to work through in the process of getting through the game. I have only given it three stars though for two particular reasons. Firstly, I found it irritating that little prompts kept popping up throughout the game whenever Lara approached an item or a doorway. Perhaps others have found this helpful - I expect it would be to anyone for whom this was their first experience with a Tomb Raider game. Secondly, and most major: I encountered a major glitch during the sequence when Lara was on the speeding train. Once the train started moving, and Lara begins making her way to the front, you will come across a save diamond. I used this the first time I played the game, and when I had to restart the game due to crashing and burning (I think I actually decapitated Lara that time round), I discovered the graphics were all warped. I don't mean that they were illegible. The graphics appear normal - until Lara starts running across empty spaces, and falls through holes where there doesn't appear to be any holes. You jump her across what you think is the gap between carriages, only to have her fall through an apparently non-existent hole and die. No matter what I did I could not fix the problem, and I could not reach the front of the train to complete the sequence. Ultimately I had to start over from the beginning again. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem, but to play it safe, use the last available save diamond before talking to the old man and getting on the train. Do not use the diamond that is on the train itself. That aside, there is a wonderful assortment of scenery in the game. It starts off in a museum, which Lara must escape from in order to pursue the thieves. From there, after 'defeating' a mini boss on the rooftops of New York, she must negotiate an underground maze of rail tunnels, and then make her way through two hazardous warehouses on the wharf, find her way into an underwater lab filled with zombies and collect and charge all the batteries she needs to operate a mini-sub, which she must negotiate through a dangerous maze underwater. (Hint, save as many of your health packs as you can for this part - you're going to need them) From this last section, you will jump to the last scenes of the game, set on a distant island. Some may feel that the final boss is something of a let down compared to the rest of the game, but it all depends on your point of view. It was extraordinarily easy to defeat the boss, but the real fun was in getting to that final battle, not in the battle itself.』
(Tomb Raider) 『This is one of my favorite games. You start out trying to get from room to room, looking for your gun. There's limited places to go without your gun, because you are not able to get buy the police. This game is perfect with the difficulty levels-they are not to hard and not to easy. I highly recommend this game.』
(Good game!) 『There should be more games like this, what would be great is if they improved the graphics and made it for GBA. I actually got this when I got my GBA. It is really fun, and not too hard to figure out. This is especially recommended to any Tomb Raider fans. Plus, I got this for a pretty good price. Pros: 1) Pretty good price (used anyway) 2) Lots of puzzles, not to easy nor to hard to figure out 3) People with GBC still can play it 4) Fairly good graphics Cons: 1) Some controls are difficult 2) Only one slot for one saved game 3) Some people may get bored early in the game』
(The Real Cuse of the Sword) 『This game is better than some people give it credit for... The only thing that isn't that great is that there is NO BACKGROUND MUSIC! Everything else rules! Personally I find the level RUNAWAY TRAIN the best.』

(i love it) 『I watch it all the time its same interesting like the first time the casts are excellent , I like the colors of their costume I dream power ranger in my sleep, always anxious what will happen next, I am engrossed while watching and think I am one of them . IPhone 3G used's review (The best gameboy color game ever!) 『It is plain and simple, this is the best GBC game ever!!!! The fun never ends in the quest to catch all 251 pokemon! This game is extremely fun and addicting. A must buy for gamers and pokemon fans alike!!;o}』 『POKÉMON GOLD offers another game for fans of the popular Pokémon characters, and the list of features is almost overwhelming. Explore a world with more than 250 Pokémon! The game keeps track of the time via an internal clock, and some Pokémon will only come out during certain times of the day, which means you will quite literally have to get up early in the morning to find them all. Also new to POKÉMON GOLD is Pokémon breeding. Youve heard of Pikachu, but have you heard of Pichu? The PokeGear adds a more streamlined interface for an even greater RPG experience. As in the past games, link upwith a friend, rival, or fellow trainer to trade or battle Pokémon. You can link up to your previous version of POKÉMON RED or BLUE or YELLOW to bring all of your favorite Pokémon into the new game. This version of the game includes Pokémon found only in POKÉMON GOLD』
IPhone 3G used's review (FUN FUN FUN!) 『Its alot like the computer and PSX version. Although its a bit tuff to see who is on your side and who is on the other. It also dosent have the funny voices.』
(If you are a serious junkie...its so so...) 『Okay. I am a Worms Junkie. I love the game...(Worms Armageddon/World Party for PC). The Gameboy color version is about what you would expect from its primitive 8-bit processor. If you are considering buying this version, dont. The Gameboy Advance version, Worms World Party, is almost a near perfect conversion from the PC. I have the first screenshots, and it looks beautiful.』
(Good ol' fashioned fun) 『Worms Armageddon on PC is my favourite game: you just can't get enough of it! So when I saw the GBC version on the shelves, I hurried to buy it. Well, although it has some flaws, I rate it the third best Gameboy Colour game, after Pokémon Gold and Tetris DX.
What I found disappointing was the lack of weapons. You don't even get ninja rope! But all the basic ones are there, like bazooka and firepunch. You even get some extras like battleaxe and armageddon (although armageddon is far more impressive on the PC). But the worst feature in the game is the sound. Not only have they cut out the dialogue, but they have changed the music into high-pitched digital tunes that sueak and squeal throughout the whole game (that is why I play with the sound off). My only other grumble is that it's a bit easy; I clocked the whole thing in about a week.
Apart from these, the game plays really well. The graphics are outstanding for gameboy, with highly detailed and colourful stages. Also, the stage design is much better than the PC version, with more emphasis on jumping skills (I love the pirate ship!). The controls are like worms 1, where you scroll through the weapons using the a and b button. Also, you can earn new themes by winning three times in a match (there are 48 in total).
Worms is a really awesome series, and the GBC version really hits the mark, although it can be improved. All worms veterans who own a gameboy colour should go and buy it; and for all you newbies, this game makes a fun diversion and has you coming back for more!』
(A perfect game to pick up and play at any time) 『I was doubtful about this game before I purchased it, but I found it on sale, and let me just say that I'm really glad I got it. Worms is a turn-based strategy game that is definately toungue-in-cheek, so if your looking for a die-hard strategy game, look elswhere. On the other hand, if you ARE looking for a fun game that you can kill some time with and have laugh, then this is a good choice. The AI in Worms isn't that advanced, so it won't be long before you look at the terrain being a bigger challenge than the enemy worms, but it is still a blast to lay waste to the opposition. To me, this is what Gameboy titles should be: A short diversion that you can play while on the bus, waiting in a doctor's office, on a trip, etc., etc., etc. You WILL find yourself addicted to it, but you don't have to play for hours upon hours to get any deep satisfaction out of it. I do wish that there were more options and a way to save your progress, but it's still a perfect time waster (and I mean that in a good sense.)』
(worms armageddon) 『worms is a great game. You control worms in more then 50 levels with 14 wepons including bazoka, grenade, fire punch, dynimite, telport, baseball bat, jet pack, shotgun, airstrike, battle axe, blow tourch, sheep, banna bomb, and armogeddon.
In the game ypu can control 1-4 worms in one game that can last 5 10 or 15 minutes, In each game you can have 1, 3, or 5 rounds.
I gave it 4 stars because the screen is too small in game boy color. also in the nintendo 64 version you have about 60 wepons compared to 14 on gbc. The graphics are ok but the squeaky voices have been cut out. It is 5 stars if you have never played the pc or nintendo 64 version.I would recommend buying the pc or nintendo 64 version unless you are looking for a portable version.』
『Worms: Armageddonis one of those weird titles that, despite its numerous flaws, still keeps us coming back for another round. The premise is extremely simple: use your four worms to bombard your opponent's four worms using a variety of heavy weaponry until no enemies are left standing to fire back. The execution is a little more complicated, as actually hitting targets requires accurately gauging the wind, as well as applying just the right amount of power to your shot. Of course, you'll also benefit from some good old-fashioned luck.
Due to the inferior processing power of the Game Boy Color platform, this version ofWorms: Armageddondoes sacrifice some of the features found in the game on other systems. Most notably, the weapons are nowhere near as varied as those found on the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation versions. The good news is that there is a lot of instant gratification to be found in this game. Each match is relatively brief since a sudden death mode kicks in after awhile. In this mode, all remaining worms have their health reduced to the point where a poorly timed sneeze will cause them to expire. This isn't the sort of title you can play for hours on end, but it's perfect for a 10-minute gaming fix.--T. Byrl Baker

IPhone 3G used's review (Great alternative to the PC version) 『If you loved this game on pc but cant quite get it to run on Vista, give this a try - it's not quite as great on the tiny screen but it'll give you your HeroesII fix.』
(Better than the first one) 『As the first heroes seemed to be a combination of the first two PC versions, the second one for game boy is more like a combo of heroes 2 and 3. I like that the creature system got an overhaul from that of Heroes I for Gameboy, but it lacks very important aspects which made the PC version fun (i.e.--opening the castle doors to let your creatures out in a siege). Although you can play with them in the scenarios, the dragons are inaccesible in the campaign game, which takes away from the fun a little and makes it more like heroes 1 and 2 where you only had 6 creature classes instead of 7. I would have to say though that if you are a heroes fan then you will love this game when you are away from the PC and can deal with the arrow keys instead of a mouse.』
(An Ingenious Strategy/RPG Game Implemented Well on the GBC) 『First and foremost I'd like to say that if you enjoy the "Heroes of Might and Magic" series at all, then you are going to love playing this game. I never played the original on the GBC because I thought that it lacked some key features that make the game. Fortunately, 3DO realized their mistakes and seem to have taken care of it in this release. There are 25 Scenarios for you to battle in, but more importantly a Campaign has been added to the game. I was hoping for some pretty cutscenes between missions but was sorely let down. It's not that bad though, they do provide you with a nice story and some decent pictures. Plus I think they make up for it when you beat the campaign.
When I first got the game I could not put it down until I finished the campaign... which actually took some time. The graphics are beautiful and the sound really helps set the mood for the game.
Unfortunately, it seems 3DO still made some mistakes which I felt could have been handled better. First, you can choose between 40 different characters, which is pretty awesome, but it is a bit misleading. For each "race" you can choose basically a warrior or a magician, but each of these classes have the same skills... such as the Human Knights all have pathfinding and offense, and the Human Clerics all have wisdom and logistics. Thus the only difference in these heroes is their picture and name. Sort of a let down when your character isn't very unique. Another thing I did not like is that your starting castle is not necessarily in accordance with your race, it appears to be random. I found this to be a real pain because I would start out with different units then the ones that I could train.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great game. And as I said earlier, if you like the "Heroes" series at all you will love this. I just hope that if 3DO plans to produce a third in the series that they address the faults that still lie in the game.』
