IPhone 3G used's review (The best RPG (if it can be called that) for the NGPC) 『Summary Ok, first of all, this game IS part RPG. Granted, it is a submarine sim at heart, but most of its elements are RPG elements. It is a great game, the best submarine sim you will probably ever find, and one of the best games on the NGPC.
Gameplay/Graphics 4/5 There have been many complaints with the gameplay and graphics. The thing is, the graphics are very good. The sonar screen LOOKS like a sonar screen. You have to realize that this is the only thing the actual character in the game has to look at to steer, so it should be the only thing you have to look at. I would have put some hands on the controls to either side of the sonar screen to make it seem more realistic, but hey, its a handheld game. To compensate for the sonar screen, Sacnoth has given us beautiful still cutscenes to flege out the story, but again people didn't like this because they were too long. People are never happy -_-. I personally like a lot of story in my game, but thats me.
Sound 5/5 The music is amazing in this game. It is the best i have ever seen on a handheld. The music even stops at dramatic points in the game. over all the sound is amazing.
overall 4/5 If you can find this game for under 15.00 get it. If you arent sure, do your research on it first, then make your decision. If you are looking for a very unique title(not to mention developed by former Squaresoft employees) seek this one out.』

The adventure begins as you prepare your Unitron for battle in a centralized city. You'll meet several local characters that can help you in your quest, which will take you to four randomly created dungeons that lie on the outskirts of town. Each dungeon has an elemental theme that must be taken into consideration before wandering in. As you fight your way through the dungeons using turn-based combat, you'll discover new items and equipment that can be used to upgrade your Unitron when you return to the city.
We had a lot of fun equipping our Unitron with our discoveries. The game lets you fuse various uncovered materials together, but the quality of the results depends on what you use and how you put it together. Other options such as new legs, power packs, and body types mean that there's always something to tweak as you progress toward your ultimate goal of becoming an arena champion and defeating a seemingly all-powerful beast that lurks beneath the city. --T. I enjoyed the N64 Bomberman for it's multi-player, here they left that out and it left a big gap. Trying to play is ridiculous, the computer loses about 7 percent of the time, and it's no fun attempting to beat them. You never feel responsibility for the loss. The game can change soo quickly that it might as well be set to one minute, to save us time. There's way too much going on in one screen, like 50 different things and it's like you're supposed to try to watch it all, and you don't... and you lose. Also, there isn't even an Adventure mode here! It's all bombing in a small space. You always start out in a cramped area, far away from opponents. It's so old, and dull, it's begging for a drastic gameplay overhaul, like the N64 version (not saying that was great, but it WAS a direction with genuine innovation). All of the elements exist for a fun game, but it doesn't ever come together. I kept wondering when I would get to the fun part. ...』
