IPhone 3G used's review (This is a desent game) 『this is a good game if you are into retro gaming and is a good collectors item.』 『This is the Limited Edition Pikachu GAME BOY COLOR System.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Pretty Worthless) 『I was playing my GameBoy for exactly FIFTEEN MINUTES when the stupid thing decided that the batteries were gone. Unfortunately, they were. The only batteries that I can get to work with mine are the ones they came with and they are about (really) twenty bucks for a four-pack. So if you get this, please be rich.』
(Shabby) 『Does not help much! The light does not even reach the screen. My child has to stick his face on the glass to make him see anything. I would go with the worm light.』
(i am 14.) 『I have one of these things and it is really really hard to get back off the gameboy. So before i take it off i cut off my game just in case i accidentally rip the game out along with it the lights dont last long if you are playing a game such as pokemon and you play it for a period of time and the magnifer yeah it works but the lights glare off the game boy and somtimes you want the magnifier in a certain place and it will not go in that place.』
(its me lee freeman) 『o.k you guys i dont have it i will buy it when i buy resident evil gaiden o.k. i read all those complaints about the lights going off and the batteries going out fast cause there also working the lights well im going to take off the lights buy one off those gameboy lights that you plug in the side you should do the some hey dont say i wont have enough money cause every time its near my b-day my grandma gives me 20 bucks and my mom now gives me 50 bucks for my b-day.i gave 3 stars cause i dont have it.』
(Helps to see screen easier) 『It really does magnify the screen and lights it up as well. Nice addition for a child who like to play the gameboy a lot.』 『This battery powered magnifier works on both gameboy color and gameboy advance. It makes the playing screen larger for easier visuals.』 『Game Boy Color owners have long complained about poor low-light performance and a small screen. This device, from Mad Catz, attempts to solve both problems. The compact unit clips onto the top of the Game Boy Color. A squared magnifying lens effectively enlarges the screen 150 percent, and two lights, one on either side of the lens, provide much-needed illumination. The only downside is that the convex magnifying lens can produce some pretty nasty glare if there are any nearby light sources.--Mike Fehlauer
Pros:
Compact design--folds down to a pocket-portable size
IPhone 3G used's review (Amazon Product Description is Wrong.) 『If you have read the Amazon Production Description above, let me tell you that it is completely wrong. You do not encounter the Black Night Ghost or any of the others. It's "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" case that Scooby and the Gang are working on.
And I agree with the other reviewers. If you can not read, this is not a very good game. Basic reading ability is required to fully enjoy this game. Also, this game does not work with the Nintendo D.S. system, which made my daughter very dissapointed. So, we had to go out and buy her a Nintendo S.P., which made her happy again.
So, if you like Scooby Doo and are under the age of twelve, this is a very good game for you to have!』
(Very unique Gameboy title!) 『Wow, what a refreshing Gameboy title. This is unlike anything out there. I wish there were even more games like this one. To sum it all up, you're in control of the "gang" and you're out to solve a mystery. The mystery of the missing jewels to be precise. Each character is off exploring a different part of the mansion and you can switch characters at any point during the game. So you can control Freddy, Daphne, Velma or Scooby + Shag. As you explore the mansion you'll acquire useful items and clues to help you in your quest to solve the mystery. Theres a fair amount of humor in the game and some clever thinking will help you make use of the items you find. This is not your typical run, jump and shoot game, this is a true old-school adventure game with a great little plot. Its really nice to see something like this available for the Gameboy, I think older audiences will really appreciate it. The graphics and sound and great too considering this is a Gameboy game. Scooby fans and Adventure fans will most certainly want to check this title out! Scooby-Dooby-Doo!』
(frustrating for little kids) 『My son wanted this because he is a big Scooby Doo fan, however, he was very disappointed with the game. The problem is that you have to be able to read and understand the clues given in order to play the game. He just started kindergarten and can not read yet. This may be a great game - I'm not sure. But if your child can not read then I would not recommend this game.』
(Great for Gameboy) 『If you are a Scooby Doo fan, then you need to add this to your collection. It is a very fun game for the Gameboy system. Not too difficult to the point of frustration. To me, a game should be fun and challenging, not frustrating like some games, and this game will challenge you without the frustration. If you are looking for a nice game for a child, young adult, or yourself then I would recommend this for your Gameboy.』
(I'm hooked!) 『My son received this game as a gift and gave it to me to try. I loved it! I can't play a lot of the fast paced, hand&eye coordination games, so this was perfect for me! I like the fact that you can't get killed, but you have to think to solve the mystery!』 『Jinkies! Join up with the entire gang of meddling kids (Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Daphne, and Velma) as you try to crack three separate mysteries each based on classic episodes of the beloved cartoon program. Taking the TV episodes "What a Night for a Knight," "That's Snow Ghost," and "A Tiki Scare is No Fair," the game runs the three stories together with a unifying plotline. You play as Shaggy, trudging through haunted forests, creepy basements, and abandoned buildings with your trusty pal, Scoob. Rather than having a "death" meter, as in most games of its kind, SCOOBY-DOO: Classic Creep Capers has a courage meter Scoob and Shag flee the scene if they get too scared. There are plenty of clues hidden throughout the game's expansive levels, but if you're not careful the bad guys might get to you before you can solve the mysteries. While the game certainly offers something for nostalgic fans of the series, it's a hilarious, original take that will keep gamers challenged as well.』 『Scooby-Doo, where are you? He's in your Game Boy Color, of course--along with Shaggy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma.Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capersis based on three classic episodes of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon show, and there is one all-new mystery to solve. Along the way, you'll encounter the Black Knight, Snow Ghost, and Witch Doctor from "What a Night for a Knight," "That's Snow Ghost," and "A Tiki Scare Is No Fair," respectively. Have no fear; there will be Scooby Snacks to help you along the way. The nonviolent gameplay is set in environments that are reminiscent of the popular TV show, from which the game uses the actual voices.』
IPhone 3G used's review (pretty fun but boring too) 『this game is one of the best hunting games out there but it did lack sound .it was pretty sad.this game gets you confused by the way they set up their controls too.ten minutes in to the game and you find that there is nothing else to do but shoot elk, deer, and rams and bears.once you get used to it,its a pretty fun game though』 『Track down big game, such as elk, deer, bear, and bighorn. Search the rugged mountains of Colorado, Montana, and New Mexico for prize trophies. Use calls, attractants, and cover scents to lure your prey into your sights. Arms include rifle, muzzleloader, and bow. The abundant animals have lifelike movements and behavior.』 fetish『 Nintendo Game Boy Color - Kiwi 』

IPhone 3G used's review (ALERT: Bundle Pack now only 19.99!!!!!!) 『buy this game and Game boy color in a bundle to save a lot of money great for kids of all ages』
(Best ever --- that is, until Ruby/Sapphire comes) 『Pokemon Crystal is a great game and with a GBC included, this is gonna be fantastic. Pokemon Crystal is just like its predecessors Gold&Silver.
Pros: - The ability to choose to play as a boy or a girl - Defending Pokemon perform animations when sent into battle - New Suicune side-plot - New Unown side-plot - Game intro is different from Gold&Silver, and IMO more entertaining
Cons: - GBC/A only - Like G/C, only has a certain amount of Pokemon - Not as good as the upcoming Ruby/Sapphire versions
Overall Crystal is near perfect but still has the same flaws as Gold&Silver versions. I suggest saving money for the Ruby/Sapphire versions coming early 2003.』
(good overall with one exeption) 『just to quash thew rumor you cant catch celebi in this version only on the japanese version can you catch celebi』
(Good as Gold) 『I rate the pokeman crystal bundle a five because it came with a game for $79.99 the game boy by its self is $69.99 plus the kids loved it so I feel it was a good deal.』
(Awesome!) 『Simply the best handheld Pokémon game out there. I just love the battle animations. Unfortunately, being an old style cartidge, it sticks out the top of my Gameboy Advanced which can get a bit annoying. i can't wait for Nintendo to release the Pokémon game for Gameboy Advanced.
Yours truly, Da®k Master』

The Game Boy is that small, colorful handheld video game system that's clutched by folks playing it everywhere. Popular within a wide age group, including a good number of airport-lounging power executives, the Game Boy has a true hard-core fan base that comprises millions of kids around the globe.
Nintendo's Game Boy debuted in the late 1980s, and has since sold more than 60 million units worldwide--far outpacing other handheld game systems. With a catalog of more than 1,000 games and dozens of add-on peripherals, the Game Boy is a monster of a handheld game system, and a remarkably affordable one at that. Early March 1998 brought the release of the Game Boy Color system--an upgraded version of the original. It's equipped with an 8-bit CPU, which doubles the original Game Boy's computing power. The small LCD screen can display up to 56 colors simultaneously--out of a 32,000-color palette--delivered via boosted video-processing memory that provides remarkably sharp and vibrant graphics.
The hundreds of available games vary from tremendously compelling to instantly forgettable. Quality or not, the entire library of games designed for the original system is playable on Game Boy Color, but buyers should note that not all Game Boy Color games will work on the original Game Boy system.
The Game Boy Color system is available in an exotic array of colors and special editions. Accessories and add-on peripherals abound, enhancing the playing experience with everything from vibrating feedback to in-game bumps and crashes, extra battery power, and even a clever camera package that allows players to capture, tweak, and print images.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Yet another poor X-Men game) 『Here is yet another poor X-Men game for the GBC courtesy of Activision, only this one is the worst. While the PS1 version of X-Men: Mutant Academy wasn't half bad, this GBC conversion is downright terrible thanks to the clunky controls, insanely easy difficulty, bland backgrounds, and scratchy sound. While the player animations are colorful, they are quite jerky, and while the selection of fighters is nice, there is just something more to be desired. All in all, even if your the biggest X-Men fan, leave this game on the shelf, it's terrible.』
(THE BEST GAME) 『THIS IS THE BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. IF YOU BUY IT YOU'LL BE AMAZED HOW COOL THIS GAME IS.』
(6 Year Old Gamer and his Mom) 『I purchased this game for my son at Christmas (age 5). This is one the games that he plays often. The game itself is really great. There are alot of charcaters to choose from and the endless battle of whom is toughest is the reason why I give this game a 4. The bases of this game is one on one fighting and though there is no blood shed, parents be warned. I continually hear, "Mom, come watch me get this guy," I think it sends the wrong message to young children but, there are much worse games out there. The graphics are great and the movements of the charcaters are not "violent" but they do fight. My son picks up this particular game because he really enjoys it and doesn't think about the underline message. For him, its a great game!』
(THIS GAME IS BULL) 『These game boy color games are the worse. I purchase Mortal Kombat 4 and the graphics on the game boy was terrible. So i decided to buy xmen mutant academy and that STINKS as well. No sound number1. And number2 it is too easy that i beated out the game with every character. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.』
(this game [disappoints]) 『This game is so boring. It's too easy. All you do is just punch and kick all day long. And I beat the game in less then 30 minutes. Don't buy this game,it's just a waste of money.』 『The X-Men are looking for new recruits. Do you have what it takes to join them in their fight against evil? Find out by playing X-MEN: Mutant Academy. Choose from 10 different X-Men including Wolverine, Cyclops, Gambit, Storm, Beast, Phoenix, Magneto, and Sabretooth. All of them have special moves based on each character's unique mutant abilities. Once you have the perfect fighter, use the Training mode and let Professor X help hone your powers. When you are ready, fight a single match in the Versus mode, or fight a series of progressively harder matches in the Arcade mode. You can also challenge your friends to a round or two with the link cable option. Play X-MEN: Mutant Academy and find out if you're tough enough to join the X-Men.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Sometimes Looks Can Be Deceiving...) 『I bought this exact light (same color and everything) and was extremely dissapointed with it. It puts out very little light and the glare is terrible. I bought it for my Game Boy Advance and I know it was made for Game Boy Color, but it barely lights up a third of the screen! It looked like a good deal (price and all), but it really isn't worth a dime. I suppose it is better than playing in pitch black, but not much better.』
(It's Yellow?) 『It's Yellow, it jacks into the link cable spot, and let's you play in the dark. The GBA version is better, but they are hard to come by due to overwhelming demand.
Might wanna invest in a battery pack and/or an AC Adaptor because this runs off the gameboys batteries』
(Missing important feature) 『This is probably the best portable lighting that you can get for Game Boy Color. Those other light&magnifier combo really does NOT work for me. Frankly, looking through the magnifier is really uncomfortable. As far as glare, I could get rid of that by re-angling the light. However, there's one trivial feature I think that should've been on the product, the on/off switch. I have to yank the unit off the GameBoy if I want to turn it off.』
(Light causes problems) 『My children have both had problems with their games boys after using this light. Since it is pluged directly into the system board for the game it tends to do funny things to the board. When I called Nintendo - they recommend that I discontinue using this light - it has never been tested by them with their games boys - but they do recommend the Game Boy Lite 2 (hard to find). Although this product is not made by Nintendo - take this for what it is worth.』
(May fall apart after a few adjustments) 『I like the idea of an add on light for the gameboy which doesn't require an external power source. However, two things really changed my perception of this item when I finally got my WormLight.
First, the light can give off an annoying glare when it hits the screen. It was next to impossible to adjust the lamp to get rid of the glare while maintaining sufficient lighting.
All that adjusting led straight to my second problem, durability. After several adjustments, the wiring at the base of the connector became undone, causing the light to get no power and to be limp when attached to the Gameboy.
The WormLight did not last even an hour. This item may be a bit too fragile for some. If you must buy this, do be careful.』
