I found it on amazon.com. I wish I had stated looking from the beginning on this site. When I received the Wii Fit Yoga Mat it was in excellent condition. I have enjoyed it to the max. It was cheaper even being shipped to my door than in store advertisements. I would recommend this mat to any one who does exercise often and need one.』 (Great purchase) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I love the Wii Fit with the yoga mat! It's comfortable when doing the floor yoga position-thingies as the padding is quite sufficient. I like the strap to wrap around it when storing it. Just look for it in the box carefully or you might throw it out by mistake. The green color is very nice, too.』 (very useful) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『While the yoga mat isn't necessary to use the Wii Fit, it does give lots of grip for any of the exercises, especially yoga. However, I am new to yoga so I don't really know what's different about this mat versus a normal yoga mat. Not really much to say about a piece of material! One thing I would say, if you don't mind the hard floor you probably don't want any kind of mat with the Wii balance board as it gets tiring moving the mat and the balance board around.』 『Licensed By Nintendo / Composed Of Eco-friendly Materials / Features 3 Layers Of Durability To Reduce Impact On Floor』 『 Wii Fit Yoga Mat 』 『 Wii Fit 』 『 Wii Fit Rechargeable Battery Pack for Balance Board 』 『 Wii Fit Balance Board Mat 』 『 We Ski 』 another good item omega fetish『 Let's Yoga 』 『 My Weight Loss Coach 』 『 Let's Pilates 』 『 My Spanish Coach 』 『 Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day! 』 『 My Word Coach 』
Kakaku:Konami IPhone 3G used's review (Yoga where you want, when you want) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I am a big fan of Let's Yoga. With my busy schedule, having the flexibility of doing yoga wherever I am and whenever I have the time is a huge motivator. The game itself is very easy to understand. You can pick from quick Yoga lessons (anywhere from 3 minutes). You can also do yoga lessons with the "yoga master". Although you do get introduced to new yoga poses this way, the Yoga master lessons are my least favorite part of Let's Yoga. My advice is if you have some yoga basics or are familiar with several poses within this game, you should create your own workout through "My Yoga". This allows you to customize your workout depending on your flexibility and skill level. Overall a great game. I take it with me whenever I travel.』 (Great Yoga Help) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I was a little critical when I researched this "Let's Yoga" game for Nintendo DS. I was thinking that it might be difficult to have this platform to handle this type of program especially for someone who has practiced yoga before, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone can benefit from this great tool: beginners can learn about yoga and see detailed position descriptions and advanced yogi(ni) can have the DS create random workouts in the desired length. I tried a few Yoga classes when I was in college but decided to concentrate my efforts into a more hard core martial arts workout. Stupid me, I could have done both and been all the better for it. Still, after being becoming somewhat more adept at the 15 Yoga poses in Wii fit, I felt I needed more and the inexpensive Let's Yoga cart did the trick. I love Wii Fit Yoga but Let's Yoga really adds so much more to the Yoga experience. Wii Fit is a pretty good (but small) comprehensive warm up but "Let's Yoga would be like the real class. I would imagine a typical Yoga class might cost somewhere in the range of 10 to 25 dollars for one session. Just about the cost of the Let's Yoga cart. Imagine, you could do Let's Yoga for a few weeks and become familiar with a lot of the Yoga poses. And then when you are ready for an in person classroom instructor, you will not be lost with all the poses. The Lets Yoga instructor is also pretty good about explaining how to get into the poses. The cart even allows you to stop the session and reposition the instructor to view the pose from different angles. There is even a place in the cart that explains (and shows) all the various Yoga moves on the cart and even offers options for getting into the pose. And unlike the Wii Fit you can even design your own Yoga Workout. An absolutely terrific exercise cart. And a must have for any traveler when you can't always rely on a gym in the hotel or nearby.』 (Great Solution for On-Bus, Waiting Room and Other Spots) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『If you're interested in learning more about yoga, or simply stretching and relaxing, Let's Yoga definitely is software worth owning. From chair stretches to step by step lessons, there's something for everyone here. You get to customize your "guide" with a variety of hair styles, outfits, colors and signal shapes. There are numerous ways to then use the software. Starting with the simple, there are a few chair poses that you can do on the bus, in your office, anywhere! They are great stretches and moves that help you stay limber. Next there is an area of quick "problem solving" poses, broken up into body, mind and beauty. They are relatively brief 3-5 minute combinations of poses. You choose a topic - for example helping swollen feet, or easing cramps, or fighting stress. The system then provides a series of poses to help you with that issue. You can even ask for random poses to meet a given criteria (raise flexibility) and see what happens! One of my favorite parts is the area where you make your own combinations. You can draw from every single part of the yoga library. You can put together a stress-free relaxation set, a high intensity workout, or anything in between. If you're new to yoga, their poses area goes step by step through each pose. You can zoom in and out on the video, back up, pause. You can get easier ways to do the pose, and tips on how to do it well. They even show which muscles are helped by the pose. Once you're ready with the basics, there is a multi part class laid out. For each stage of the class you get a lesson and then a series of poses to practice. There is a wealth of great information here, but there are some down sides. First, the inherent problem is the small DS screen. You're trying to do poses that involve standing, sitting, and lying down. All the while you're trying to peer at this tiny screen to see what to do. A DVD does a MUCH better job in this regard. However, for all the times you're not somewhere that you have a DVD available, this is certainly an OK option. You just need to watch it a few times so you know what she's doing, rather than having to try to hold and watch your DS while you move. Next, the speaker goes rather rapidly through the moves. You are told to kneel, then instantly to move into plank, then instantly to move into another pose. It is hard to keep up. In most yoga progressions they are smooth and orderly. The pace is quick, and the dialogue is clipped. There is a pause button - but the chance of grabbing it easily while doing poses is slim. They could have used much better pacing on this. There are written words which also guide you through the lessons, but sometimes they cover up what the woman is doing, so it's a mixed benefit. The manual is impressively thorough in a world where most manuals are a four-page warning about flashing lights. That being said, they do a paragraph of English, then one of French, the one of English and so on. You have to hopscotch your way through the instructions. Still, all being said, it's great at what it can offer. Like I said, if you are waiting in line, or hanging out at a doctor's office, or stuck on a bus or train, this can be perfect. Anywhere that there isn't a DVD available, and you had no other option, this is certainly a good fallback. So to summarize, make sure you have some DVDs for actual working out. But as a stop-gap for other times, this game works nicely.』 『Finding it hard to learn yoga by yourself or with a book? Or you already know some basic yoga but the more difficult poses are hard to do? Then try Let's Yoga. This game makes it so easy to learn yoga that you'll feel like you have your very own personal instructor. You can set your DS down next to you and let the vocal instructions tell you exactly what to do, or just read the subtitles. If you're confused by how to do something, you can always rotate the image on the screen 360 degrees to see all angles of the pose. The vocal instructions will even tell you when to inhale or exhale or you can look at the flower symbols on the screen. You can even combine your favorite poses to create just the right program for you. So start learning yoga today. After that hour it was back in the box, put in my purse and returned for "credit" towards something else. It has all good intentions, but when your head is facing your back, your feet and arms interwined and the DS behind you, its impossible to see or hear whats going on. It attempts to teach you to breathe.. if you're a bird you will like responding to 'tweets, if you are a marine creature, you will enjoy the sounds of the ocean to remind you to exhale and inhale. This game is a test in patience. Hold your breathe, turn purple, become annoyed.』 (Frustratingly hard to follow) ![]() ![]() 『First off, let me say that I love yoga and have been practicing for 12 years (on and off - not continuously!) and am certified to teach therapeutic yoga. So, I got this game not to learn yoga as a newbie, but to mix up my practice and have fun with the technology. Unfortunately, despite a long background in yoga, I have had a hard time following the programmed practices because of the lack of narration. I was hoping there would at least be an option to turn the narration on or off, but it's not available at all! That's not so bad for standing poses, but when you're lying on the floor and the pose calls for both hands to be outstretched with palms down, how do you look at the screen? It doesn't even have sound cues to tell you when to switch from your left side to your right side. In fact, the game tells you where to put your gaze for each pose: guess what, it's never "look at the DS screen" which is required if you want to know when to come out of the pose. One of them even says "Close Eyes." Um, then how do you know what you're supposed to be doing, since there is no audio cue? Even if you are looking at the screen, the cues are not explicitly clear. For example, to begin Warrior Pose II (Virabhadrasana II), you are first instructed to turn your right foot to the right. After getting into the pose and taking a few breaths, you are then instructed to straighten the right knee and turn the left foot to the left. What happened to the right foot? Is it still turned to the right? I know what to do because I'm familiar with that particular pose, but the lack of comprehensive instruction bothers me because I know yoga newbies will be trying this software and might be confused. Another beef with the game is the lack of transition between each pose. One second you're lying on the floor, then the screen goes to the next pose and suddenly you're standing. Safe, mindful transitions are key to a pleasant yoga practice. And, none of the practices I've tried so far end with Savasana (corpse pose), the traditional relaxation posture that allows your body to adjust to the changes that took place during your practice. On the plus side, it does have an excellent variety of challenging poses and makes good use of the sanskrit translations for each pose. I also like the ocean sounds in the background, though you can choose from 3 different music options if ocean isn't your thing. And, the tones that tell you when to inhale/exhale help to keep your focus on the breath throughout the practice, which is important. Overall, though, I like Let's Yoga much better. It has voice narration, safe (and well-explained) transitions between poses, and every routine ends in Savasana. It has some other details that I personally enjoy, like the expanding mandalas for the breath, but that's just a personal preference! I'll probably keep Quick Yoga Training just to mix things up, but I'll definitely keep using Let's Yoga much more often. Quick Yoga Training is not "bad" or even unsafe, it's just sloppily put together. It could have been great with a few more months in production, but as is, it's below average.』 (Quick Yoga Training) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I am please with this fittness product for my Netendo Ds..I hope other fitness exercises weight lifting, walking, ball fitness ect..will follow suit for the convenience and portability of this product..I can workout any where with it..Thanks』 (Flawed program - needs voice over) ![]() ![]() ![]() 『Ever since I got the Wii Fit, I have been into Yoga. However, Konami's Let's Yoga for the DS was a superior piece of programming for the lifestyle/fitness genre. What "Wii Fit" started, "Let's Yoga" finished up. Therefore, I was anxiously awaiting the next Yoga cart, "Quick Yoga Training". And with its promised "over 180 poses", it looked like a natural progression from "Let's Yoga" after I exhausted its "only 80" moves. "Quick Yoga Training" starts off with the typical questionnaire stuff. But then the cart looked to be something very different when it had a breathing exercise/test and those results would be used in all the yoga poses. Very nice. However almost immediately after that I ran into trouble. The menus are a confusing mess with no thought on how a user might use the program on a regular basis. Of course there are menu items that take you into poses but its not user friendly and I'm still not comfortable navigating around the menus. Still, the worst was yet to come. When you do get to the poses not only is there no voice over narration, but the fonts are hard to read and many times blend into the background. Because you are dealing with the small screen DS, the only way to really learn the Quick Yoga poses is to carry the DS along with you while you are doing the exercise. . . I wonder if UBIsoft did any playtesting with this cart? Clearly this was not ready for release. I guess the people over there don't realize that a good fitness cart can stay on the shelf for years. Ubisoft should have cut down on the poses and instead worked in some voice over. Perhaps when the price drops and you already know some yoga - "Quick Yoga Training" may be of some benefit. For for all newcomers, my advise would be to get the cheaper and far superior "Let's Yoga".』 『Personalize your yoga routine with Quick Yoga Training. I also didn't want to spend $80 a session on a personal trainer and I wanted a program with variety and a feedback system so I wouldn't hurt myself. The simple act of monitoring your heart rate with a chest/wrist heart monitor when you use this program will help keep you from getting sick or hurt. This will allow you to continue to workout on a regular basis without feeling so bad the next day that you don't want to do it again. It really is your own Personal Fitness Trainer. I own the Playstation 2 version and my friends own the PC version. No complaints on either version.』 (These workouts keep me going!) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 『I was expecting to like this program, not love it--and love it I do. I do workouts with it 6 times a week, and I'm on my 80th since September, when I bought it. I had hoped it would fill in with my home gym workouts and provide variety, but it's now my mainstay. I run it on a Dell XP Professional machine with no problems. After profile setup, you're asked to do a 20-30 minute evaluation workout the first and every tenth workout to test cardio fitness, upper body, core, lower body, and flexibility you also are asked your weight. No, it's not exhaustive, but it's certainly good enough to go on with. Then the virtual trainer, Maya, makes a recommendation for a plan. You make your committment for days and durations, and on you go. (I'm a vegetarian, and on WeightWatchers, so I do my own menus--no comments about that part.) There's always a few minutes of warm up, about 15 to 20 minutes of cardio (for my plan, anyhow), and then onto the focus of the day. I was in OK but not great shape when I started, and I can really see the difference in musculature and endurance after this many weeks. I'm pretty pleased. I don't get bored, as the exercises routines are never *exactly* the same from day to day or week to week. We rotate through Cardio, Upper Body, Core, Lower Body, and Flexibility workouts. The "Weight Loss" workout turns out to be another Cardio class. You need about 4 paces square to work in, and a cushioned mat for floor work. The routines are adjusted for what equipment you have as well as how long you want to go. Durations are in 15 minute increments up to an hour. The equipment is minimal: your choice of any or all of cardio monitor, step-bench, balance ball, and hand weights. I don't have a step bench, but I may get one just for curiosity's sake (when I can afford one). The cardio monitor was a nice-to-have, too, though you can tell if you're at your 80% range by a certain natural rhythm to your breathing (in-breath for two steps, out-breath for two steps). You can get most anything you'd need from Target or by mail from Amazon. Two 3-pound weights are good starters for most purposes--I'm moving them pretty fast to use much heavier weights. Maya does check in with you thoughout the program to see how you're doing, and adjusts the difficulty appropriately. I'd say they pretty much got that right, and I do appreciate it. If I start off saying I'm not feeling great, the workout is easier. If I'm feeling peppy, she's that much harder. Not hard enough? Bounce more and use more weights. I have knees that hurt, so I do a low-impact version of the exercises when I have to, and that works fine, too. You have to use some judgement on your own to make it work for you, same as with any class or method. I have to say that I like the music pretty well, too. I think they mixed their own and did a good job of it. You can adjust the relative voice/music levels, too. Actually, if you were completely deaf but could see the screen, you could still have a good workout with this. The exercise you're on scrolls across the bottom of the screen, and shows what's coming up, too. I haven't done much with the yoga (Meditation Garden) section, but I'm not much into Hatha Yoga anyway. It's fairly fast-moving for my tastes, but that's not a bad thing. You may have to use the "tutorial" button to get the mannikin model to show you how to do things a time or two. Answering some of the negatives in other reviews: The "pixelation", or jaggies, is because Maya is placed on her background like a sprite with no anti-aliasing. Who cares? It's good enough visually for its purpose, and a few years old at that. It's not all that noticeable from across a room, anyhow. Not enough variety in exercises?--well, there's only so many variations to jogging, kicking, stepping, and arm-flapping that you can do. Have a favorite you want to substitute during a class for something Maya's doing? Go ahead. Who'll know but you? If you work this program, it'll work for you. Now, bad customer service is a sad thing, I have to agree. The company that made this isn't really in business any more, so they're not helpful, I hear, and more's the pity. I would have adored an expansion. But that's a business problem, not a design problem. And I'm not really surprised that some PCs have problems with the program--that's pretty much the story with PC games anyhow. I guess I didn't expect perfection, (being a programming/design geek myself) so I'm very happy with it overall. This has been a *lot* of bang for $30!』 『This Yourself!Fitness Program for Home PC software brings the expertise of a certified personal trainer and nutritionist into your home to guide you through a personalized health and fitness program.
