(Worst Printer ever !!!!) 『I bought my new Lexmark printer in Thanksgiving sale season at 20 $, then I found out that the printer is not even worth my 20. The photo is ok but the printing is extremely bad, the ink turns to be gray green not black and the lines are not sharp. The printer is cheap thought,but the ink is 25 dollars and the printer is ink consumption also. That printer is just a waste of money. Dont buy it』
(Perfect for a College Dorm) 『I bought this printer on E-bay for $35 including shipping. I've used it for printing papers, PowerPoint slides, scanning tax documents, printing PayPal Shipping labels, and lots of regular home office things. This is what this printer is meant to do, and it does it perfectly. It fits on my desk without any problems, and one ink cartridge has lasted me ~300 pages of PPT presentions, and 10-page papers (3/4 of a semester). I highly recommend this printer to anyone whose looking for economy not quality.』
(great product if you never ever have to change the ink) 『This is the worst product I have ever seen. To change the ink cartridge I had to take it apart by hand, which involved a screwdriver. Also, taking the "lid" off (that's the scanner part), disconnected a few cables, which I could not replace without the aid of tweezers. Once I got the whole thing back together I realized I had somehow broken the scanner.
Fine, whatever, I thought, but no. You can't use the printer if the scanner is broken because the printer automatically asks to check its alignment using the scanner and you can't just skip this process and print your job. It won't let you until the alignment is complete, but I can't align anything because the scanner is busted.
I just smashed the whole contraption with a bat ala office space and I have a similar fantasy involving the person that designed this machine.』

Now I just found out that EPSON ink cartriges can only be used by one kind of printer and I'm stuck with 5 color and 4 black cartrigdes I cannot return, this is about 200 dlls. Now I change to a HEWLETT PACKARD, with their printers you can use the same kind of ink cartriges on several kind of printers. Hopefully I won't end up with another 200 dlls. waist.』

The price here is better than an office supply store but still expensive. The color is beautiful, near photo quality on photo paper. The printer will not let you print black and white text if you are out of *color* ink.』
