Setup is extremely easy - charge and turn on. Picture quality both day and night vision are excellent. Camera can be rotated at good variety of angles and can be battery powered (though night vision would drain batteries quickly). It's digital, so neighbors can't see your cameras and you can't see theirs instead of yours.
What differentiated this from the other ones for me was:
1) availability of additional cameras, up to 4 that can be monitored from same receiver, and 2) this system uses Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum technology, so it can co-exist with your 802.11b/g access points. (Easy interfered by your wireless network or cordless phone) 『I do NOT recommend this camera for baby monitor use purpose because it is very easy interfered by your wireless network or cordless phone. Both the image and voice get big noises whenever you use your cordless phone, or you have wireless network at home. BTW, I bought this camera tried to connect it to my TV and use it as a baby monitor, but this goal can not be carried out. Have to return it.

There are 4 types of cordless phones in use in USA. This camera has no interference with the older 900Mhz cordless phones or the newer 5.8Ghz or DECT 6.0 cordless phones. Newer 2.4Ghz cordless phones have interference only during use, however there are some older 2.4Ghz cordless phones that sound bad and are total junk. With the price of very nice new DECT 6.0 phones starting at $29.95, it may be time to upgrade those phones.
Regarding possible interference with Wifi, this can be easily addressed by either changing the channel of your camera or changing the channel of the Wifi so that they are not overlapping. The cameras come pre-set to channel 1, perhaps your Wifi router was set to the same channel.

(Great well-built camera for a good price) 『This is a fine quality camera for the price. I've bought several cameras recently (for my home, office and my mom's house) and while they are all made in China, the quality varies enormously. This camera is better built than the comparable Swann camera and it costs less too. I've had it outdoors for several months and it's basicly rust-proof - it's even got stainless steel screws (unlike the Swann - which just hasn't held up as well). The outdoor microphone (built into the cable) continues to work well even though exposed to the elements. The receiver is also nicer that the Swann - newer design - and it has the channel skip feature when scanning - something you don't realize how valuable it is until you're using it.
This Sharx camera has what I'd call good picture quality - pretty much what you can make use of given that it's wireless. You can get higher picture quality...but then you'd have to pay a lot more for the camera and spend the time running the cable for the video through the walls. And if you're mainly interested in is a security camera, this works just fine. 』

(Received 2 damaged filters) 『I tried to get good product from Amazon twice. The first filter was covered with dust on both sides. Blew off the dust and filter was dirty enough underneath I did not want to deal anymore with it. The actual filter case was not closed completely when I received it, nor would it close completely.
They were very good at getting out a replacement quickly.
The second filter also had dust on it, and some spotted residue. I blew off the dust, gently cleaned the filter, only to find a scratch in the middle inside face of the filter, rendering it useless for photo work.
Neither filter was new as advertised. Both had obviously been used. I hope they don't try to send out both filters again.
Other filters I purchased through other vendors at the same time arrived fine and in great condition.
Amazon was prompt at refunding my money for the filter when I said I wanted to return it.
I just wish I had gotten a new unblemished filter so I could review how it works with my camera.』

(62mm Tiffen filter kit is so-so...) 『Very affordable, but that comes with a quality trade-off. The threads are not the greatest and the "laminated" filters can have slight manufacturing defects. One of my filters came with a small air trap bubble in it. Its small and near the outer edge. Perhaps tiffen would replace, but since it doesn't affect image quality, I am not to worried about it. If you want a set of filters that you can just throw in your pocket for a walk around then the price is right.
