(Entirely satisfactory) 『Why do I need these floppy disks? I have a home computer without access to the Internet since November 2004 but I can get on the Internet at the local library. I write my Amazon reviews at home then copy them to floppy disk for posting on Amazon in the library. I sometimes copy useful information (relevant to future reviews) from the Internet to disk for study at home. Of course, reviews aren't the only items that depend on these floppy disks but when you realize how many reviews I've posted in 2005 you'll see that these disks have got plenty of use.
The floppy disks come in a transparent plastic case that protects them during transport. The case opens out in a handy way so that the disks can stand upright on a desk, making it easy to flick through them. Five different colors (two disks of each color) aid identification when they are upright, though of course labels are enclosed so that you can uniquely identify each disk.
I haven't used any other disks recently so I can't say if they are better or worse than any from rival manufacturers, but I've got no complaints about them - and they are competitively priced.
I see that others have had a bad experience with these floppy disks when using them for long-term security. Obviously, if I encounter problems, I'll modify this review (with our without use of a floppy) but so far I am entirely satisfied.』

A couple of other schoolmates and I were attracted by these colorful diskettes and we have come to realize that they are not durable. Moreover, you know what? Their customer support is so unprofessional ...I called them about the diskettes and they were rude. Oh! When the monitor is within a short range, the picture quality is reasonably good, even though the colors are not that accurate. Night mode is okay as well. Audio reception is alright. The camera is so small and light weight that it's better fixed on a wall than being kept on a table or something. The monitor stand is a good thing and the monitor can also be wall-mounted.
The biggest problem is with the range. The picture reception is good for just about 50 ft, no more than that. The product description says 300 ft and ideal is 100 ft. But the results I see are nowhere close to that.
The other problem is with the channel selection. In case you forget to select the correct channel on the monitor, then you keep loosing signal. But I won't call this a real problem since selecting the right channel solves the problem.』
(Poor reception, static, and crackling) 『I purchased the SVAT GX5201 after reading the favorable reviews. I returned it 2 days after I received it. The reception was horrible - even when I was in the same room as the camera, the reception was poor. The sound, and automatic audible alarm were even worse. To get the audible alarm to work, we had to manually touch the video camera to get the microphone to pick it up. There is a single pencil-tip thin hole on the bottom of the camera ball which is the microphone.
I turned off all of our cell phones, cordless phones, and internet (per the Tech Support's request), and the reception was still poor. Who actually lives in a house without cordless phones or wireless internet, anyway?
Don't be fooled by the favorable reviews - I think in the case of this product, they are "planted" reviews.

(Nice Player) 『Initially, I purchased the Sandisk Sansa 1GB, which was a nice player but I was not happy with the radio reception. The 1GB would have been enough space, and the sound was very good with the supplied buds, but better with a set of already owned Sony buds.
I decided to give this Phillips a try and I'm glad I made the switch. The radio reception is a little better, but the sound is much better than the Sansa (with Sony buds). The buds which come with the Phillips are not that good. If you don't want to invest in extra buds, then go with the Sansa.
The Phillips does not have a clip but it does have a pin where one can attach a lanyard. I suspect a tape on clip made for a cell phone would work good and Phillips may even sell a clip for this player.』

One of the frequently asked questions is "my music isnt playing in the correct order"- do you know what their answer is- prefix all your tracks with 001, 002, 003 etc- COME ON!!!! you cant be serious????
the software has an update facility, but it doesnt matter what you do, the software cannot pick up your player- I mean you are transferring files, and the brilliant piece of software tells you that no devices are connected. Good luck if you hope to get any support from philips, they are completely incompetent- they dont answer your emails and the site bombs out all the time. The player can only be charged via the USB port of your pc, so if you are going camping or somewhere where there is no access to a pc you can only listen for the 8 hours or however long your battery lasts, unless you purchase a separate USB charger.
apart from that, its good looking, small, the screen quality is pretty good, the sound is good, it has a radio, and does support videos-although it only supports WMA video files that need to be converted to its own format with a little utility program found on the installation cd.
