IPhone 3G used's review (printer ink) 『Very blah colors. Nothing compared to the original colors. Would never purchase this product from this company again. Can't even get the red to print on one of the cartridges. Junk and garbage are comparable』
(Lousy quality) 『I bought two of these not even three months ago. Lost the red in both right away. The last one I lost the red and had printed only six papers. I wouldn't waste money on these.』 『The Standard Capacity Color Ink Cartridge from Dell is specifically designed for the Dell Color Printer 720 and AIO A920 Printer. Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Bang for the Buzz) 『I was in need of a scanner for my laptop, as the interface with my HP7XXX series all-in-one sucked as far as scanning went. After much review reading here and at Newegg, I decided that for the cost the LiDE90 was probably what I was looking for.
My only real need was to scan B&W documents for work. To this the LiDE90 has performed well, with one caveat. It is, as many reviewers have noted, a noisy little bugger. Maybe noisy is unfair. How about buzzy? The carriage movement is on the loud side, meaning that in general it doesn't bother me but I would be hesitant to use it with someone sleeping in the room. So if you are planning to use this in stealth mode forget it, but other than that you should be fine. Color scans range in the 2mg size, greyscale 80kb.
Overall it does the job at a good price. I will report back when it gives up the ghost, (as all things must).』
(Works well with Vista) 『Purchased this scanner since previous HP scanner was not compatible with Vista at all. This scanner was a huge improvement. The scan quality is good and it doesn't take up much space on my desk as well.』
(Totally disappointed ... but it might be my misfortune with Cannon) 『I got the device. I scanned 6 pictures. That's all. Just a week after, I tried to use the scanner. The mechanism jammed at midway, making this "particular noise" I know, the noise that let you know that device simply screwed up. I believe I did not handle the scanner inappropriately. I'm used to handle and keep all my e-devices with, -sometimes going extreme-, care. I unlocked the device as supposed to. The rest of the procedure to use the scanner is not big deal -is very convenient, by the way-. Now. I'm hesitating in proceeding with the warranty claim. Why? I like to spend no more for nothing. Earlier, years ago I purchased a Cannon digital camera. The camera spoiled as well -the mechanism to close the lens got clogged in between and stop responding-. I sent it for warranty, but I NEVER EVER OBTAINED A RESPONSE FROM CANNON, despite several phone calls and e-mails I made. One more: before this LIDE 90, I had a Cannon scanner as well -I can't recall model number, I guess it was the "1200" or so-. I loved the way this scanner worked ... unfortunately ... it became broken ... same failure as today with this LIDE 90 ... Conclusion.- I would not like to ran and rave about Cannon. Is not my personal style. I just want to recommend: thing twice about when getting something from Cannon.』
(Canon flatbed scanner) 『I'm a bit disappointed by this sleek scanner. It's advantage is that it is thin/light and doesn't require a power brick - it is powered by the USB connection. The quality of scans are good. Control thu the TWAIN interface (if you can access that) is good. It accepts pages up to 8-1/2 X 12.
The disadvantages are as follows: (1) The polyglot of software that comes with it does not result in a plug&play product. I haven't gotten the 4 automatic buttons on the scanner to work well yet. The pop-up window doesn't point to where I want to go. I can access the TWAIN interface thru my paint program, but not thru Canon's software. My wife doesn't like that. (2) It is much slower than expected, especially at high resolutions. (3) The new scanner arrived at my house with the lock-for-shipping switch in the unlock position. This model is so lightweight it probably doesn't need one, but I do wonder what is happening in the QC department of the factory.
Canon has discontinued this model for a new one, which, unfortunately, I couldn't wait for. Other than being almost small enought to be portable, I'm afraid I can't recommend this Canon LiDE90 over a bulky HP or Epson box. Douglas Baty, IT specialist. This product used in my home.

(I love this scanner!) 『This product is a great scanner at a great price! The only complaint that I have is that I had to wait over the weekend to get it :-) Really though, my wife and I scanned in over 25 pictures in a hour and that included touching them up in the software that was provided with the scanner.
Mentioning the software, I will say that it is a little cumbersome to use, but heck for $80 what do you expect. Heck spend a little more and get photo-shop or something like that and you will be able to scan into it as well, or just capture in the software provided and then switch into photo-shop and complete the touch-up.
Forgot to mention: This was all ran on XP not Mac some of the reviews for mac say the software sucks, but heck Mac comes with great photo software, so use I would use that instead. It is TWAIN compliant so it should work with any software that is twain compliant. However the buttons at the front, such as the photo button, may not work as you would like in other software. However, I do not know for sure as I was able to do what I needed with the software provided.
Also, the USB power feature is nice; consequently, I did not have to worry about losing a power pack "AKA: wall wart" or worse yet plugging in the wrong one and frying the scanner! That is why I had to buy a new one!』 『Looking for simple, high-quality scanning in one super-sleek machine? Brother
Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (FAX MAX) 『After over two months of regular use, I am satisfied with this unit. Thanks to the reviews, I knew exactly what to expect and have not experienced any problems. We use it primarily as a message center, phone and fax. The fax quality is superb both going and coming as is the voice quality of the speaker phone. It has a neat feature of automatically cleaning the print heads every week. It might intrigue some who have not read the manual as it sounds like a fax is coming in. I told my wife that it was monitoring everything she did and was sending me a secret report. BAD! For cat owners, the clear fold-down paper support flap acts as a protective shield over the number pad to prevent the little buggers from speed dialing 911 during their midnight romps. It also keeps dust out when not in use. A few local restaurants we frequent have this unit at their register. Upon inquiring, none have mentioned a problem. The Brother IntelliFax-1960C cartridge system is certainly a giant step up from the dinosoar faxes that use the expensive rolls of carbon film. What a mess that was. Many forget customer support when buying electronics. I contacted Brother support twice just checking. They passed with flying colors. 』
(Great fax with answering machine function) 『This fax is a great product for the money...the answering machine is a bit funky to work, but it does work.
I use this fax as my home office fax and it gets the job done just fine.』
(Did not meet my expectations...) 『I have been using Brother products for several years and I must say this one was a huge disappointment...
Here's why : 1- The machine literally spits out whatever paper it is printing (whether fax, print report or photocopy) and instead of leaving it on the tray, it ends up on the floor. Bad design ? 2- Message center is faulty. As said by another reviewer, Brother can't seem to get it right because it records everything from a call. By that I mean that if the caller hangs up, the machine doesn't cut the incoming signal like it should and as most answering machines do. This is why you end up with those long tuuut-tuuuut-tuuuut-tuuuut-tuuuut-tuuut-tuuuut....or even the operator's recorded message "if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and dial again". What ? I was the one they called ! 3- This one doesn't have a scanner, so forget about having an all-in-one if you choose this machine. Besides, what's the use of a colour copy option if you don't have the scanner ? 4- I found the wireless phone to be less accurate than the corded one on my previous model, the 2440. Besides, I have issues with all the wireless phones because they "die" when the electricity goes out and they do not grant you any "reasonable expectation of privacy". Without getting into too many details, the fact is that anybody with a little skill can hook up to your conversation in all impunity. Not a problem if you don't care, but if you are in the middle of a contract discussion or talking to a client, you might think twice about using a wireless, just in case.
In short, I got this model because it is a Brother, because of its reasonable price, its compact aspect, and the advertised savings on cartridges because they are separated from each other (machine supposedly doesn't stop working if one cartridge is empty, still have to find out if it is true though). I returned it because of the 4 negatives after two weeks of use.』
(great fax for a great price) 『extremely simple to use while having all the features one may need, can save $$$ on inkjet cartridges (individual) especially if you buy 3rd party cartridges. found nothing negative to report so far.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Low price, low quality) 『I just plugged it in and I cannot get it to print blue color correctly. As far as I can tell CYAN is way too green and the tone is changing as you print. Ridiculous. It is OK for draft quality prints, but not for anything else.』
(Good, but....) 『It's obviously a product that isn't up to the real canon standards. The ink and presentation is fine in black, but it smears when you highlight anything. Meaning my highlighter is ruined and I've got black ink running across the page. When printing there are signs of wispy ink traces too. It's a fine product for basic page printing. Nothing wrong with it. But if you're doing resume building, or need something for a presentation, I'd say go with the real canon ink, and not this brand. For as cheap as it is, it's great for the basics.
The color tends to smear and be really grainy, especially on regular paper.』
(Works just as well as Canon ink) 『The inks work just as well as the Canon brand inks. I will continue to purchase.』
(Works fine for me) 『I have ordered 2 sets for these cartridges and all have worked just fine, and I love the price. Seem to last just as long as the name brand that I was paying through the nose for! 』
(Was skeptical but now I'm sold) 『I was pretty skeptical about getting these "brand X" ink cartridges but they work and that is the bottom line. The price was a steal and the cartridges work fairly well. For what I use my printer for which is general printing tasks (nothing fancy or elaborate for work or anything special) the cartridges fit the bill totally.』 『Compatible Canon BCI-24- 3 Color&3 Black Ink Cartridges 6 Pack - Pixma iP1500/iP2000/MP130/MP410/MP430/Pixma MP110 / Pixma MP410 / Pixma MP430 / S200X / S330D / Smartbase MPC190 / Smartbase MPC200.
