(Love it so I bought two!) 『The alarm clock is very readable in day light and night. You can select colors for the LCD, which is like 40 different colors or just have it on auto color change mode and it cycles through all of them. This clock is nice and is not to big or small. It offers so much and it don't have that annoying alarm clock sound like most alarm clocks have when they go off. It has a nice buzzing sound to it and its very enjoyable when you wake up out of a sleep. I bought one and after my experience with it. I went and bought my father one for a Christmas present.』

However, there is a glaring problem between the Amazon description, and the one printed on the package. The Amazon description reads "lets you see up to 100 feet (30 meters) in total darkness". The packaging clearly reads "the 11 infra-red LEDs project invisible light up to 2-3m/6-9ft". I don't know about anybody else, but I find there is a big difference between 9 feet and 100 feet! I haven't actually tried the camera outside, to see how far it will be able to record images in the dark, but I was expecting 100 feet when I bought it (paid extra for that). I'm probably going to have to buy a different camera now - one that will work at a greater distance in the dark.』

I called into customer service and was told that the camera is not to be mounted where it will be in direct sunlight even though its advertised as an outdoor camera. I had to pay for shipping to return the camera and received the replacement about 10 days later. When i open the box the lense on the camera was smashed in pieces and would'nt work. I called in again and was told i would have to pay for shipping again if i wanted to return it. Swann was been a complete waste of time and money, since then i've found other cameras online that i should have bought the first time. One last thing don't even try and get in touch with tech support as it's overseas and all you can do is leave a message that they don't return.』
(Not As Advertised) 『The features described on the Amazon page are patently misleading. The effective range in total darkness, is NOT 100 ft, but more like 15ft. The image is NOT the quality they tout in fact it is fuzzy even under the best conditions. I am puzzled as to why the higher priced cameras offered by Swann are rated LOWER than this one. In their favor is the fact that the camera housing is metal, not plastic. It's unfortunate they didn't put in a better sensor. The one they used is no better than the X-10 garbage. Also, don't bother to complain to Swann because they will not answer any questions, and will refer you to the website instead which often doesn't have all the information. Before you buy, check out the manufacturers website...and then keep on shopping for something else that actually lives up to the hype.』

Now I have to restart it every time I print because it says paper jam. Also, the alignment is terrible but I can't fix it because it keeps needing to be restated. This is junk!』
(I Have not had the problems others describe) 『I love this printer. I faxed for the first time today and it worked fine (even though I am out of all color ink). I have not had any of the problems others describe. Granted, the printer is a little rickety and the paper was difficult to load at first, but I got the hang of it. It's nice to look at and I've never had a problem with it. It prints great, even offers reverse pagination, which I love for when I have a long report to print. It saves time. I just haven't experienced any of the problems others describe. I've replaced the ink twice since I got it, went fine. I think it's a great unit for the price.』

First - it BURNS through ink, I mean BURNS through it. Boy did I make a mistake listening to the advice from the guy at Staples who claimed the printer used ink more efficiently than other models.
Secondly - this one is the stake in the heart. This printer won't let you fax, scan or print in BLACK only, if one of the other colors runs out. Yes that is right, your printer, won't let you just use your BLACK ink to print in BLACK if one of the other 5 colors is out, nor will it let you fax something - even though you don't need to use any ink at all for that. Sure windows lets you select black only, but your printer calmly sits there doing nothing, telling you to replace magenta in order to resume printing, faxing, etc... ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? Save yourself some aggravation and buy something else.』

Google "EPSON Scan cannot be started" you will get over 34,000 hits and if you use the "" you will get over 300 hits. A numbr were/are due to Vista driver issues but this problem is still on going.
Your Epson will work fine and then one day out of the blue you won't be able to scan anymore like mine did this week. All the other functions will work.
Epson tech support is clueless that this is an existing problem. They will have you plug and unplug, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, stop and start the WIA service and try to scan from Windows Paint. They do not have a toll-free number for tech support in the USA. Their techs read from scripts and occasionally put you on hold to get info, probably from a higher level tech.
