The product I received was NOT as represented. I ordered and EXPECTED an HP Combo 3-Pack (one TRI-COLOR and two BLACK cartridges) but instead received one 2-pack of BLACK and one loose, TRI-COLOR with no "Warranty ends:" date.
To be fair, I have not given the supplier the opportunity to correct. Just not worth the trouble.

There is a reality we live with. Right now digital cameras can take in far greater color information than our monitors can show us. This is like "play" in a steering mechanism. You don't know exactly what that setting means. Somewhere between viewing and printing ($$$) you need to get a grip on actuality.
Simply getting red right might badly maul everything else. But having a color card attuned to 24 natural colors (those are not just random colors) gives an opportunity to tune your system to reality.
In a slightly untuned system the card will show WRONG colors. So shoot the card in any serious work. Cheap insurance.』
(MATCHING MONITOR WITH PRINTER AND SCANNER) 『One of the quickest ways of geting some degree of control between scanners and printers to match the view on the monitor. Most trouble comes from having the monitor too hot. After seeing a scann on the screen one can quickly turn it down and get a better match. One can also have a better idea of how far off the colors are.

Printing envelopes is a challenge. Just figuring out the proper settings to print envelopes was a headache. Moisture sealing envelopes cannot be used because they seal themselves as they pass through the printer. Only pull and seal envelopes can be used. Often the addresses come out splotchy with part of the address barley visible.
After about 6 months of using the printer, everything I print has a vertical yellow streak and the left side of each page.
Included cartridges are half filled and replacements are very expensive. 』
(Piece of junk - DO NOT BUY AT ANY PRICE) 『I bought this printer in August of 2007 at the local Staples. I had compared the print quality to a Samsung of similar price range and concluded the HP had better print quality, so I bought the HP. BIG MISTAKE. First off, we ran out of black ink within about 30 days - the package said it was a 1,000 page ink cartridge that came with the printer, but I'd guess we got less than 700.
So then I pay almost $100 for a new black ink cartridge (the "high capacity" 2500 page cartridge). A few weeks after replacing that ink cartridge, I notice that I was getting red streaks on every page I printed. I followed the manual's troubleshooting suggestions, but nothing solved it. I figure maybe the magenta cartridge is running out or something (even though the meter on the printer said I had 1/4 of a cartridge left), so I spend almost $100 on another magenta cartridge. As soon as I replace the cartridge, not only did the red streaks not go away, but they got worse.
So I call HP, and I'm told that although the printer was still in warranty, I'd have to pay a $75 "restocking fee" plus shipping to send it back to them, and I'd have to pay their shipping costs to get a return one sent. All told it would have cost about $200 to replace the printer (under warranty!!!) when I only paid $300 for the thing in the first place!
Needless to say, I didn't do it. By May (only 9 months after I bought the thing), I could no longer print anything of importance because the thing is just dumping red toner onto the paper - everything I print comes out looking like I printed it on pink paper. And now I'm out $300 for the original printer plus $200 for cartridges I bought. And, a year later, I see I can buy the damned thing for $69 on Amazon. That shows you the quality of it, for it to drop from $300 to $70 in only a year.
Do not buy this printer. It is not worth the cost of styrofoam packing peanuts it comes in!』
(Great Laserjet for the price) 『I purchased over 1 year ago, and have had zero problems with this printer. Works as advertised. Solid build quality, very respectable print speed, and color is above average. My only issue is that I wish I had researched the cost of the toner cartridges for this unit. They are very expensive, and the lifespan is a bit shorter than I was expecting. Hence the reason for only 4 stars. I think an inexpensive laserjet should also have somewhat inexpensive toner cartridges. To that end, I am considering an HP Pixma to supplement this printer for LARGE color jobs. The printer was easily shared on my home network which consists of 3 XP, and 4 Vista computers. This printer is connected to a desktop Vista computer, and all others on the network detected it with no problems. Typically solid HP drivers and reliability after 14 months or so of regular use.

(Pronto 9600) 『Color Pronto Remote Control - TSU9600 This is a very difficult piece of equipment for the average person to program. I had to get help from a professional and it is still not completely working the way I want it to work. The unit is nice looking but I have noticed that it is best to keep it on the charger. I only purchased it for TV (several) programming. I have several TV's of the same brand and couldn't find a devise that would work each individually. This Pronto does the trick! I do not have a whole house lighting system etc. I have since found other less expensive controllers that would work.』

However, programming this unit is not for amateurs. I have the Pronto Pro and had become fairly adept at programming it, but it took many hours to master. The 9600 is far and away more complex, and not user-friendly by anyone's definition. On the plus side, it is a beatiful piece of work, and works great once you have it programmed. Obviously, it's very expensive and I will tell you right now that I know that it is WAY over-kill for my modest system, but I haven't regretted getting it for one second. Also you need to know that unless you have some programming skills, then you will need someone to program it for you and that will add to the over-all cost, as well. It has zero capability of controlling your system out of the box, and must be custom programmed for all of your devices, and thats not a simple task.

IPhone 3G used's review (Photoshop Plug-In Filter Magic) 『A lot of people think there is value in using free Photoshop plug-in filters. I've tried many of those and also have bought quite a few.
I read about Nik Color Efex Pro 2.0 in "Photoshop for Photographers" magazine and downloaded a 15-day trial of version 3.0 from Nik. After using it for a couple of days, I was a goner. I wish I could afford the Complete Edition, but settled on the Select Edition based on bang for the buck.
If you have an earlier version, you should consider upgrading due to improvements to the user interface. The user interface is superb. I think I know what I'm talking about because I design user interfaces for a living. The user interface is intuitive, flexible, and attractive. They clearly thought about the design for a long time.
Some of the filters do amazing things. It's very easy to compare the results to the original and to move from filter to filter.
