I used to work in retail electronics, and they weren't known for high quality products. However, I studied the reviews on this Plasma TV from numerous web sites and finally took the plunge. I am glad I did. I definitely got more than I expected.

Some of the movies&Discovery channel programs, in HD, are really out of this world. I did a lot of research before deciding on this one. For the basement a Plasma was preferred because there is less light and I heard LCDs would be too bright for here. This TV had the best picture quality for the price. Delivery&installation were as promised. I have been shopping with Amazon for quite some time, but this is by far my biggest pruchase from them. The guy that delivered was real helpful, brought it in, hooked it up to show that it worked and work it did. We run the sound trough our Surround Sound. The picture is beautiful and I received it as quickly as if I had bought it locally. I saved $700 on the unit and $300 in taxes.

IPhone 3G used's review (Chrome, it's not!) 『Every now and then, a fellow film buff calls me 'out of my mind' because I shoot exclusively chrome. I am always told that negative films have advanced to the point where they are at least as good as chrome. And that, given the downsides of chrome (like less convenient processing and less exposure latitude), why shoot it? So when I was told by someone that Ultracolor is BETTER than Kodachrome, I decided I just HAD to give it a try. Well, let's just say that I will still be sending film off to Dwayne's for processing - and not for their C41 services!
Anyway, I had the Ultracolor processed by Dale's in order to get slides (my preference for slides is one reason I shoot chrome, but not the only one). And let me just say they left ALOT to be desired in terms of color quality (unnatural, unpleasing, 'C41-like' colors). It just seemed like I was looking at print film projected on the wall (which I guess I was). Certainly NOTHING that can compare to high quality chrome. So I thought that maybe the process at Dale's is not a good one, and had some conventional prints made. They didn't come out much (if any) better. Now maybe, as a chrome shooter, my standards are on the high side here. But when C41 film like Ultracolor (or the new Ektar) is promised to be as good as (if not better than) chrome, ALOT is going to be asked of it. More than it can deliver.』
(the good stuff!) 『I have (2) 35mm SLR cameras (Nikon F5&Minolta 9000) in which I use Kodak Pro 100UC, this film is outrageously AWESOME!!! The clarity alone on this film is in the upmost clearest and super crisp and in defines detail too. Especially using the F5 with its rapid auto-focus, at times you say to yourself "why would I go digital"? If you must shoot film stick with Kodak Pro UC's plus it's very disappointing when Fuji discontinued its 100&120 series in film as Fuji is also another excellent film to use. I usually buy the 100UC by rolls of 10, it's a really good film and I highly suggest in buying it.』

You can adjust brightness, contrast, and color on the monitor. Battery life [when using 4 AAA batteries] on the monitor is short, 2 to 2-1/2 hours [it comes w/an AC adapter too]. The camera lasts 7-8 hours on 1, 9v battery [comes w/an AC adapter and 9v adapter]. Aside from battery life [the reason for 4 stars] I have no complaints, and i'm a pretty picky person.』

(Great Product, bad wireless operating frequency choice) 『Like the title pretty much states, the product works exactly as described and even better. The quality is great in good light conditions especially good when it's fluorescent light. This is probably due to the whiter color temperature the light makes. The picture is huge and clear and looks great on TV. It does not mention anywhere on the sites of this product what FPS it's at but I can safely say it's above 30 FPS, way better than any webcam and much better quality. The unit feels solid and safe and looks like it's durable enough to be put in tight spots without feeling like it might fall apart like cheap plastic. The range is great and better than advertised. For giggles I tried putting it completely on the other side of the house, more than 100 feet and through 6 walls, two of which are made of solid concrete and the others of thick drywall or wood. The only thing I could find bad about this unit in general is just the wireless frequency choice. These days just about anything is using the 2.4Ghz spectrum, wireless routers included. The wireless routers are the bane of this unit's existence! If kept far enough away, they sometimes cancel each other out or will avoid each other. But if anywhere near each other, expect "hoppy" performance and lots of static.
Hopefully this small review will help someone out who was stumped wondering whether or not this camera setup is right for them.』
