I have 150 years of family photos which are mostly in black and white, of course, so it's great to see the period clothing in detail and in color. The paper dolls will add so much to my research and my family's appreciation of the historical times and stories. Although I intend to keep the paper dolls uncut, they are printed on card stock which would be easy to cut and not tear apart if well-cared for.』

IPhone 3G used's review (My First!) 『The Color of Love was the novel which turned me on to the interracial romance genre. It was great years ago and it is still great today. It and Ms. Kitt's other bw/wm romance Close Encounters are the novels by which I compare all others. Now, you can say I like it because it was my first, but I don't think that is the case. I know the book was published quite some time ago, but believe me...it is still a keeper. I loaned mine out and never got it back! Without super graphic love scenes Ms. Kitt was able to convey the emotions between the characters and it was good. Ms. Kitt, where are you? Please give us more IR novels. You are by far the best at the genre.』
(True Love knows no color) 『I absolutely loved this book. Ms. Kitt did an excellent job fleshing out the characters. It started off a little slow but the book just dragged me in and kept me there. Loved Leah and Jason and found their story to be so true to life. They had their issues but the love they felt for each other was enough to see them true. I could not stand her sister Gail and that guy Allen. What a piece of work they both were. I don't know how Leah put up living with Gail all these years, sister or no sister, I would have kicked her sorry behind to the curb along time ago.
Jason was right on track, he loved Leah and they wanted a life together. If other people can't understand that then it's their problem, let them be miserable. The entire story just held me and I was a little sad when it ended but every good book has to come to an end. 』

What makes this book so good is that it is so real, even though some of the stereotypes are somewhat outdated, there are people still in this world that think like that unfortunatly.... BUT it brings the story more to life.
The charecters are fully developed and you can actually connect to them in this story. This would be a book to add to your collection. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Although I bought this book as a gift for a young inspiring decorator, I did review it briefly before wrapping the holiday paper. First, my intial attraction to this product was its title and the layout/composition of the text cover. This medium-sized book (image online has a sense that it is larger, maybe because of its width, than it is) contains the foundation of color basics, and the online synopsis for "volume two" seemed more intereting than the other volumes in the series. I had hoped for a more generous showing of color photo examples, but the included photos do seem to highlight the text decriptions adequately. Second, I did not buy volume 1 or any additional volumes, but I have a sense that the publisher or author could have merged the others' content into one stronger text. With a quick read as my only resource, the book was lacking something: some excitement, some movement, some color! From my advantage point, the book delivers the basics of color and provides an adequate resource, but, in the future, I would not buy the accompanying volumes.』

It contains an exhausting amount of information that proved invaluable in making my decision about which acer to plant. Once I discovered this book, my research days were over.』

However, since this book included both types of maples, I considered it to be the better value. Also, this book has 683 color photos, and one third of the book is dedicated to Japanese maples, while Vertrees has 250 color photos and is dedicated only to Japanese maples. I still may buy Vertrees book as well, but if you are trying to choose between them, I'd go with this one. I spent many pleasurable hours just thumbing through the descriptions and gorgeous photos of maples.』 『This photo gallery of the best maples for garden use is a complement both to Maples of the World and to J.
