My favorite is the picture of the baby in blue surrounded by water and boats. This is a playful, charming book. I highly recommend it.』

(Excellent Book for the yougest of book lovers!) 『Neil Ricklen's books are terrific; we have three and they are among my 13month old dauther's favorites. I appreciate that his pictures are of "everyday" babies in "everyday" clothes playing with "everyday" toys. By that I mean, if you want an "Anne Geddes" style book, don't get a Neil Ricklin book. While I appreciate Anne's unique creativity in photographing babies, I value even more Neil's ability to photograph kids being cute within the normality of life. Each picture has floor and background of the appropriate color, with the child dressed (mostly) in the color, surrounded by objects (mostly) of that color. The "brown" picture with a brown-haired boy in a brown turtleneck surrounded by brown teddy bears with one cream colored teddy bear thrown in is my favorite. In addition to teaching colors this is a great book for "Where's the baby?" This is an excellent book!』

"Tarot of Color" follows the attributes of the Golden Dawn, making use of associations with color, Qabalah, numerology, the Tree of Life, the Elements, astrology and more. This deck ranks with what I consider to be the best of the occult decks, including Lon Milo DuQuette's "Tarot of Ceremonial Magic" and the Free Mason based "Square&Compasses Tarot", by W. Bro P.C.Browne PZ.
The "Tarot of Color" goes one step farther, in that there are no illustrations on the cards, only glyphs for the Elemental and Astrological attributions, text, and the color coding of the cards. (The 3" X 5" cards are color coded using the Golden Dawn system of color associations.)

I love decorating and this rates low on my book list. Sorry if I offend some with being candid, but I prefer to give a my true assessment and hope someone else doesn't waster his/her hard urned money on this book. (Loads of Color) 『This book is so beautiful. From the front cover to the last page, it is a sweeping expanse of color. Even if I didn't need ideas to decorate the house we're moving into soon, I would still love to sit and look at the book. The writing is simple and interesting, she talks about her journey to where she is now; her inspiration; history; being afraid of color; etc. The pictures are beautiful. Everyone has a different sense of style, so her style might not be yours. I still think it is worth looking at, if just to see a different point of view.』
