Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Not happy at all. ZERO stars.) 『I'm back to revise my original (positive) review, apparently I wrote it prematurely. Since then I've become very disappointed with this purchase. Today is November 29, 2008.
I bought it to replace a Coleman camping mattress as a permanent nightly bed. I liked the Coleman, but it has a separate pump that seemed like a hassle. Plus I wanted something more durable.
I was initially pleased with the Swiss Gear until the first leak appeared in less than 6 weeks of use. After dragging it into the yard to soap it down, I found a crack in a seam. It patched up okay, but it was still leaking elsewhere that night. Too cold to go outside again, I finally found the next crack after hours of listening through a piece of tubing. I patched it, and still needed to air the mattress up every few days. Now it won't last 4 hours once again.
Back to the usual, roll it up, unplug and pull it out of the frame, then re-air it up to hopefully find the latest leak(s). No luck, and I'm really surprised to find some of the pillow-top seams have separated internally. The whole corner sticks up like a built-in pillow!
Looks like I'll need to bite the bullet and return this thing. That is, if Swiss Gear has decent customer service. And I suppose I'll end up with another bad one for my effort and shipping costs, a refund is probably out of the question. We'll see.
So. I cannot live with losing sleep every night because of a deflated mattress. Looks like I'm back to sleeping on my Coleman (that cost one-fourth of the Swiss Gear), until something changes.
I'll re-edit this review depending on the outcome.

(Best air mattress for the money!) 『I have owned many air mattresses in my time....aerobeds, etc. I have bought top of the line and bottom of the line. This bed by far is the best bed for the money. The pillow top makes it more like a real mattress...our guests are beyond comfortable. I am so happy with this air bed, I highly recommend it. I plan on purchasing another one for travel that's how much I enjoy this one.』
(Don't waste your money) 『It was flat after one night of sleeping. We had to blow it up to capacity every night and would be sleeping on the ground by morning.
Also, be aware that you need an AC outlet to pump it up ... it's NOT for camping.』
(Great inflatable bed - strong, comfortable, and priced better than the competition) 『We got rid of our standard Queen-sized bed to make room for our kid and have wanted a replacement since. I finally pulled the trigger after a lot of research and I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Let's face it, buying an airbed is a bit of a craps shoot. So YMMV, even with this one, but I'm going to lay out my impressions:
The Good: *Sturdy construction. Has held up despite being wedged against two chairs and on the other side a steel filecabinet. It hasn't leaked yet, though it did include a patch kit. *Fills fast with the included Air Pump. I would say about 2 minutes. *Deflates fast using the pump to reverse air flow. You can also pull the pump out. *Comfortable. The pillow top has a nice feel and it is fairly firm. *Comes with a nice carry bag and really isn't too heavy
The Bad: *The pump is a little loud. Fill it up before you put the kids to sleep or dampen the sound with a pillow (don't cover the pump!). For the volume, you would think it would fill faster too. *Could use a more firm fill setting. *Cord could be a little longer
Okay, so the "bad" is pretty much picking for nits. I'd say that this easily rivals the queen Aero I've used before at a friend's house. For the price, I didn't expect anything nearly as rugged and Aero had better pay attention to the new competition. Even at the lowest prices I've found for Aero, the Wenger is a better deal. And I've seen mixed reviews on Aero quality.
All airbeds have faults and I'm fully expecting this one to not last forever, but with the repair kit it should be well worth the cost until I have to replace it. For the money, I was surprised at the quality of the construction. Don't hesitate to buy it instead of the competition and have that spare bed for the holidays or emergencies. I figured for sure it would spring a leak when it was rubbing against the steel file cabinets or the caster wheels on the chairs in my office (2 nights!). (No leak, super quick inflation) 『Very good mattress for a good price. We tested it out for a week and its still going strong. We got the Coleman pump as well (thats the only way to fill this without hassles)and much to my amazement it was filled within 2 minutes. Soft suede top prevents sheets from slipping off. On the negative side, it's a bit noisy filling up (like a loud vacuum cleaner) but like I said its over in under 2 mins. Overall I'm extremely happy with the quality.』

(Gets soft overnight...) 『This worked well enough for its first weekend camping, but it was definitely getting soft after a couple nights. I guess I've already got a small leak, somewhere.
The valve doesn't quite fit snugly with our Coleman-brand air pump, so it requires at least two hands to inflate (we've got an older quick-bed, its valve fits perfectly).
It's so big, it barely fits through the door of our tent. Somebody else mentioned the "trampoline" effect of an air mattress this big, and it's true: if one person lifts himself to roll over and then plops back down, then the other "trampolines" into the air. Only two very sound sleepers can sleep together on this thing. Maybe we should've gotten two twin-sized airmattresses...
And the "Wrap'n'Roll" system is just a gimmick. Don't pay extra for it.

(Easy on Air and Wallet) 『Bought this for friends staying the night. Bought it from Target, on sale, was ~20$ and I bought a Greatland electric airpump ~18$ (many other pumps require charging 12 hrs before use, watch out for this! Also, this pump has 3 adjustable nozzles, so it worked with Coleman bed just fine).
This bed was very comfortable and didn't leak. It is suede-flocked, but I put an extra fowm pad on top and a mattress pad over that. It comes with an attached wrap/holder for the deflated mattress. The air intake valve is a neat design, lets you stop airflow out before removing the pump, so air doesn't whoosh out when you're done pumping. ((Greatland basic line beds, unlike this Coleman, have an extra mouth-nozzle because they don't have this airstop valve. So this bed required no extra hassle with mouth-blowing extra air in because of poor engineering!)
I made a brief foray into air mattress quality websites and reviews before buying this, and realized that high quality and height and auto-deflate etc only really mattered if I was going to sleep on this bed all the time. (I'm not, but these are things to consider if you are!!) Just from previous camping/overnight general use, I've found that the biggest difference in comfort is in having something warm on top of the mattress (thick mattress pad or foam layer underneath), so I did that and the sleepers said it was great.
Not sure how long it will last, but at ~20$ it was cheap and did it's job nicely. The power cord on this bed is not detachable making it awkward when putting on bed sheets. I've used another Coleman model where the cord is detachable and it is my fault to assume this would be the same. The power cord is fairly short so you have to either drag the whole bed to an outlet or attach it to an extension cord.
This bed also flattens quicker than my Aerobed.

The Amazon product description for this item covers the older Coleman 5998-682 model that does indeed come with a 12V adapter and it does indeed leak right out of the box. Coleman service was helpful and claimed about 1 in 20 had a leak problem; lucky 1 in 20 me.
With the promise of a refund (got a check about 30 days later) and those odds, I ordered the same product again from Amazon and this time received the Coleman 5998A682 model; it's a newer design change that does not have a 12V adapter and will only run off of 110VAC (not an issue for me). But it demonstrates no leakage problems.
Note: if you get the 5998-682 model and need to return it (you will), don't be talked into returning it directly to Coleman as I was; you lose the re-imbursement on your shipping costs that Amazon normally covers for defective products.
Misc: The Aerobed I had was in constant need of patches at the embossment pinch points...much stronger air pump...maybe too strong. At least I've finally found an airbed that doesn't leak.

(Super bed!) 『This bed is great. It is best for stomach or back sleepers...not so great for side sleeping because of the ridges on the top. I've slept on this everynight since purchasing because my regular bed was so bad I had to go to the chiropractor. The air pump is SUPER fast--the bed inflates in about 10 seconds. The package says it fits "normal" bed sheet sizes, but I find that a queen size fitted sheet is stretched pretty snuggly. I havent tried a larger sheet,but I would advise using an old, stretched out sheet for a tester.』

(Ours is great) 『I got this for a recent camping trip with my wife, who's 7 months pregnant. It worked great - my wife and I both thought it's the most comfortable air mattress we've ever slept on. It was firmer than other air mattresses and held its air very well, so it stayed firm and comfortable through the night, the most like a real bed of any inflatable mattress I've had. Because it's 2 mattresses thick, it's easy to get into and out of (important for my wife). Ours didn't have any leaking problems, and since I've had that with mattresses before, I blew it up a few days before camping and left it in the den, where my 2 year old son used it for a trampoline, and it isn't any worse for wear. My only suggestion is to make sure you have a power pump - it would be a real drag to have to inflate this with a foot or hand pump.』

I am now updating my review although I can't seem to change the rating from a 4 to a 1!! After the second use I noticed the top mattress deflated during the night, so I took them apart and only used the bottom mattress. After 2 more uses the bottom one completely deflated as well! I have tested both out to verify that they both leak. This product was a complete waste of money and I have now gone out and purchased the Aerobed that has a 3 year warrenty.』

(Got what I expected) 『I read the reviews prior to purchasing this Airbed, so I was not surprised that it was a full size instead of a queen size. I am a little disappointed with the "Foam Top", it is maybe 1 inch thick and you can't really feel it. Other than that, it's a nice bed, it inflates quickly and is very stable once filled. We have it in our guestroom/nursery and it was worth the money spent.』

(Bad Quality and I am really disappointed) 『I bought one Airbed mattress of Intex from Amazon this January. In april, I found this mattress has serious leaking problem. Fortunately it was within 90 days since the purchase. I got one replacement. Then in August, same problem again. But this time, I can not get any warranty since it has been more than 90 days after the original purchase. It is quite tricky for Intex to just provide 90 days' warranty. I think they know the product has some defects. That is why they do not dare to provide one year warranty. So if you want to buy a airbed, Intex is defenitely not a good choice.
