(I suggest that the manufacturer discover a tool that works without scraping up the inside.) The kids had a "BALL" and we all enjoyed the product!』
(Fun!) 『It's fun! At first, I buy this for me 2 yr old son but it's a little to heavy for him to roll with it all fill up with ice. So I fill half of the ice in the second time and pour melted ice and added more when I have to stir ice cream in the half time. It works well.』
(BEYOND THE BEST!) 『We had a family camp out with our church family with many kids this ball was the absolute hit of the entire camping trip. We have the large one that make enough for about 6 small bowls (two scoops) of ice-cream per each "session". We got to the camp site with all the hills, the kids rolled it up and down the hills while we set up camp. When we were done we had ice-cream! We added in coffee creamers for the variety of ice-creams...all in all we had 6 different kinds of ice-cream that everyone old andyoung enjoyed....PLUS the kids were passed out early from being tired from making ice cream.. The anticpation as to when the ice cream would be done was AMAZING.. We use the very simple recipe: 1 pint 1/2 and 1/2 with 3/4 sugar, then added power coffee creamer..then they were off. Only down fall is remind them to come back to scrap the sides .... but honestly it made sure we keep them close to camp.ENJOY!』

You don't need electricity to make great tasting ice cream, but rather just add ice and rock salt in one end and ice cream mix in the other end. Then, have a ball as you shake it, pass it, or roll it around for 10 to 15 minutes. The ice cream mix can be as simple as cream, sugar, and vanilla or you can try a more adventurous flavor from the included recipe list or make up your own concoction. Made of durable polycarbonate, the Ice Cream Ball is lightweight, portable, and easy to clean.
How it Works:
Fill the ice end with as much ice as possible, then add 1/2 cup of rock salt to the pint size or 3/4 cup to the Mega size. The lid should be hand tightened--do not use the wrench.
Mix up your ice cream ingredients in a container, then pour the mix into the end with the metal cylinder, leaving about one inch for expansion at the top. Hand tighten the lid.
Have a ball! Shake, roll, and pass it around as you mix and freeze the ingredients. It's not necessary to shake the ball...just motion will do it.
After about 10 minutes for the pint size and 15 minutes for the Mega ball, open the ice cream end using the included plastic wrench. Scrape the sides of the cylinder to mix up the ice cream using a plastic or wooden spoon (don't use a metal spoon as it will scratch the cylinder). Then check the ice end. Pour out the excess water and add more ice and up to 1/3 cup more rock salt to enhance the freezing ability. Close the lids securely and continue having a ball for approximately 5 to 10 more minutes (15 for the Mega).
You will then have about a pint (or quart for the Mega ball) of delicious soft-serve ice cream. The consistency will vary based on the ice, your mix, the outside temperature, shaking frequency, etc. Once the ice cream is to the consistency of your liking, gently scoop it out and enjoy!
Important tips for using your Play&Freeze Ice Cream Maker:
Directions and recipes are inside the Ball.
Use cream instead of half and half for richer tasting ice cream.
Leave about an inch of space for expansion when you fill up the can with the ice cream mix.
After 10 minutes (15 for Mega ball) of mixing (shaking, rolling, and passing), it is important to stir the ice cream mix (it freezes more around the can). Also, drain the water and refill with ice and additional rock salt. Have fun for another 10 to 15 minutes and you're done.
Use the provided plastic wrench to open the ball, but not to close it.

If you will be a Zen follower of the Mad Painter....that uninhibited guerilla artist we may vaguely remember from Sesame Street, then you must own these mystical shoes. The actor Paul Benedict played the Mad Painter in 10 filmed segments for painted numbers 2 thru 11, during the early 70's on this revolutionary children's show. (Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Tops (aka "Chucks")) 『Can you name a more classic shoe than good ol' "Chucks" (especially black ones)? . . . I didn't think so. . .
Now, initially, you may say "Look how flimsy the material is! There is no way these will last long!" Well, my friend, then you'd be wrong. I've had my pair of "Chucks" for about 3 years now and they're still ready and rarin' to go! They've survived:
1) Being drawn on numerous times with a variety of writing utensils (I found out that nail polish remover gets rid of most of the marks and stains)
2) A puppy who loves shoes (There are a few bite marks but they're still quite wearable)
3) Being worn almost every day since I bought them . . .
I recommend these shoes for anything except for (this is the reason I only gave them four stars) when running or walking very long distances (by long distances I mean miles). The shoes have a very flat bottom which means not enough support and thus, after awhile, your feet will start to ache some. If you are looking for running shoes I'd recommend Mizunos. I own two pair of those. If you are an avid runner then they don't last very long as running shoes . . . perhaps only a year or two. However, then they become good walking shoes so the price which is, unfortunately, quite expensive is well worth it.

They are completely flat so it gives my feet a very stable resting place when performing squats, deadlifts and other heavy movements. Also a side benefit is that it saves my other shoes from taking the beating making them last much longer since soft shoes wear out very easy under heavy stress.
