I have not had the 'wearing out' trouble that some others mentioned. Instead, when I roll it out it truly becomes my magic carpet. The thickness is so wonderful on your knees and other joints. I agree there is a natural rubber smell. This abates over time to a degree, and of course if you leave it wound up tightly it will preserve the smell longer. I also agree that the main problem with this mat is that it has a major static attraction to dust, hair, etc. that is on the floor. It hasn't been a major problem but it is something I notice with this mat more so than other mats.』

(Worth the extra money) 『These mats are much more "sticky" than the average mat even when I am sweating from a hot practice. They are also thicker and can be purchased in a longer version (good for tall people and angle or lunge poses). Some people are bothered by the rubber smell - I hung mine over a rod for a week and it seems fine. The sustainability was important to me too - a natural product helps me feel more connected to the world than a petroleum product. I recommend these to my students and to you too!』

(yoga ball) 『i received the ball on time, the package was not encouraging, it was like been driven on by a truck.the ball itself has a nice color, although the texture is not like in the photo,(you know, the shiny extra smooth ),the pump was a pain to use, so i used another one from an old ball.when i unfold the deflated ball at first, i noticed strange 2-3 spots,li'l bit larger than the diameter of a pencil,i would like to call them soft spots, because they were 1-bulging above the ball's material's surface,2-they felt different from the rest of the ball, you can easily guess that regardless of the linning of the ball material, these 2 spots were lighter or as if lacking some linning than the rest of the ball, this is the best i can explain these 2 spots to give you the idea.when i inflated the ball to the desired size, it did not last more than 15 min before it deflated few inches, i reinflated it again, but again, in few min it felt different while sitting and bouncing on it.i tried doing some exercises on it,like trying to semi stand without completely leaving the ball free, like a reversred squatt, but it felt horrible on my knees bec the ball size after deflation was less than it should be(i;ve done this exercise before on another ball).with time the ball seems more and more loosing air. i had 2 fitness balls before,one lasted around 2 years. i used it daily to bounce alone or while holding my 2 kids, the other one from duskin did not last more than a month, it's deflated by itself to an unusable size,even the kids can not play with it, and strangely after this 2nd ball got deflated, i saw lots of bulging spots, same like the ones i saw in yoga ball, they only dissappeared after inflating the ball to the final size. the company did not reply on my eamil, not even saying we can not do anything, i;m gonna contact amazon again and report this seller's behavior. 』

My wrists have been soar due to the way I have to hold myself in downward dog seeing as there is little to no traction, and my hands slowly slide up the mat. As I slip, the mat scrunches and shifts in position instead of laying still on the floor. I am very unhappy with this mat, and would highly discourage purchashing it. I feel that I am slowly developing a wrist injury due to using this mat, which is unfortunate, seeing as I have a daily practice and had planned to use this mat for the next year to year and a half.』
