It has become so bad that I had to abandon it because it would not flatten out and it became difficult to execute balancing poses. I contacted the company explaining the situation and sent a picture. They told me that the mat was designed to be biodegradable and would break down under some conditions and environments. If you expect your yoga mat to last, then look at other products.』

(Nice&Cushy, Improves With Age) 『Pros- I bought this mat for yoga class, but it would work well for pilates, too. The thickness (which is actually 3/8") is wonderful for preventing pain in my knees, hips and wrists. Not the best for balancing poses, of course, but I've always stepped off even the thinnest mats for balancing. I am 5' 7" and the extra few inches of length really make a difference. I don't have to adjust as often to keep my whole body on the mat.
Cons- Can get a little slippery if it gets wet, although this seems to be happening less the more I use it. Still, this mat might not work for you if you sweat heavily. It doesn't lay totally flat on the end you first roll up, so you have to unroll it and then flip it over so it won't curl up while you're using it. It smelled a bit strong at first, but I just gave it rub down with a dilute blend of Mrs. Meyers all-purpose cleaner and water and then left it unrolled for a few days in a well-ventilated area. It took about 2 weeks for the smell to dissipate completely.
Overall I'm very happy with this mat. Many people in class have asked me where I bought it. I will update this review after several months of regular use with regard to durability. Right now it's too early to tell how well it will hold up.』

(multipurpose, good value) 『I mostly use this bolster as support when I do straight legged stretches on the floor. I place the bolster lengthwise on my straight leg or legs and after a flat backed stretch over my leg, I allow my upper body to rest on the bolster, nicely supported and without strain. I use it as a bolster under my hips for staff pose since my hamstrings are tight and it allows me to bend deeper and differently than without. I also lie on my belly with the bolster under my hips and use it as an assist for bow pose and that works great and feels wonderful.』
(As good as the wider bolsters) 『This bolster is less expensive than some other brands, probably because it is not as wide, but still works great with a nice firm filling. I use it vertically, lying face-up with my upper body on the bolster and letting my shoulders relax downward, to open up my chest and counteract the slouching I do all day. It instantly relaxes the body.』

(Essential yoga prop -- you need two) 『These yoga blocks are comfortable and lightweight and essential to your yoga practice. If you are new to yoga and not familiar with using blocks, they seem a bit extraneous at first (at least they did to me). But, once you get into doing more poses and using them as recommended, you will get a lot more out of your practice.
I use these for a few poses that really help my back, neck and shoulders (perpetually achy from an old injury and too many desk hours). They are quite comfortable for putting under your neck or back or resting your head or leges on as well as helping you reach the floor in certain poses. They really do change the poses--sometimes making them more comfortable or reachable, and sometimes working different body parts entirely.
Totally recommended.

(firm ball too small after a week) 『I ordered this ball to use as a chair in my office occasionally. I liked the color so I decided to pay a little more and get this one. The pump that comes with it works fine and I was able to pump it up without much of a problem although it does take a while. I was disappointed that the ball was not the shiny green color it looks like in the picture, it is actually a pearlescent paler green but still not bad. Originally the ball blew up to only 50cm, but it does indicate that the ball will grow over the first few days. Basically over the course of the next week, by sitting on it and stretching it I was able to get it to about 60cm but it was still smaller than advertised and way to small to use as a chair for a person who is 5'8.』
(Stability Ball - 55cm "The Firm") 『I love this ball. Like some of the other stability ball reviews, I thought at first it was going to be too small, but it's not (I am 5'2"). The 65cm would have been too large I think. It has a DVD workout video with it. Comes with a hand pump - I used a different pump to inflate the ball faster but at least it comes with one. Like the instructions say, the ball appears small at first, when first inflating. Over the next day or so, the ball adjusts and you pump in more air.
