『Surprisingly, a pretty good flick. Low budget, but filmed very well - and the story line is pretty creative! Definately worth a watch.』

『I rented Subject Two on Amazon Unbox, based primarily on the user reviews, and I was only slightly disappointed. The subtle homosexual overtones of the film were not brazen enough to be distracting from the other side of the story, the latter of which give pause to considering life and our experiences within. All in all, it was a worthwhile film with good production values, strong acting, and an intriguing plot that, I can confidently state, will not leave you asking how you fell for yet another zombie movie, as this film is not really in that category.』

『After reading some of the favorable reviews for this movie, I thought I would give it a shot. Although the movie is supposed to be a thriller, I feel like it never really took off. There were moments that made you anxious, but not what I was expecting. The scenery in the movie is beautiful and the acting was definitely spot on.

However, overall I found myself waiting to get sucked into the plot up to the end, but being disappointed. The action in the movie is slow paced, so if you are looking for an edge of your seat thriller, this is not the movie for you.』

One misses the cross-country race from the original film, as the setting here is claustrophobic and the cars are largely colorless and indistinguishable from each other. Director Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil) continues to display the sensibility of a video-game addict, which will either be a recommendation or a turn-off, depending on your own tastes. 『Bangkok Dangerous is a perfect movie for a post-summer release. It's got plenty of action, but it also has a great story, one that resonates more than some of the straight-ahead popcorn flicks that you find between May and August.

In the film, Nicolas Cage plays Joe, an otherwise anonymous hitman who provides laconic narration throughtout most of the film. His modus operandi is to setup on the outskirts of his target's location, find someone to act as a go-between with him and his client, and once the hit is completed, kill the go-between to tie up loose ends.

Joe decides that it's time to retire, so he takes one last contract - a series of four hits in Bangkok for a gangster named Surat. He finds a local street punk named Kong to act as his go-between, and proceeds with the hits. But he ends up caring for Kong, and also falls in love with a local pharmacist, which gives him even more pause about his line of work.

The film is a very competent action film, but also has its fair share of drama and emotion. It's not for the squeamish, and Cage's Joe isn't always a charmer, but you find yourself rooting for him, and by extension, rooting for this film.』

『The concert is good, but I think the video and its edition is not so good... looks fine, audio is good in DTS format, but something is missing.... It doesn't get you inside the concert... passion is missing... maybe is the video and audio edition or maybe is the concert itself....
I like to buy video concerts which get you in the place, create the mood, and it doesn't do that... for that reason I do not recommend it.. if you want to buy it, do it, but do not expect the best.

Dolby Digital 5.1 (no DTS) shows off the kickin' band who provide the perfect backdrop to 2 male and 2 female vocalists who are thrilling (the German rapper is just OK). With a running time of 2 hours 27 minutes, how could you go wrong? Awesome performance AND value.』
