(Dallas:Season 10:Sorry to See Donna and Pam Go)
『To a lot of Dallas fans, including me,this is the last of the great "Dallas" cast lists,Patrick Duffy, thankfully making a return to Dallas, season 9 really had lost the plot,so Bobby's return with the previous year being a dream, gets Dallas back to its basics.
The member of the cast, who loses out in the dream story,is Susan Howard as Donna Krebbs,in the dream season she and Ray were reunited and adopted a deaf teenager, now, she and Ray go their seperate ways, indeed Susan Howard, only found out her part was being dropped when a production member, mentioned season 11 was starting early, when Susan Howard asked the producer, she was told her character had come to an end.
I really liked the Ray/Donna couple,so Ray now gets involved with Jenna(Priscilla Presley),now carrying Bobby's child and the previous great friendship between, brother's Bobby and Ray is now sorely tested.
I never really believed the Ray and Jenna romance,I would have much preferred Ray and Donna to stay togethor.
Bobby and Pam finally remarry, the "flashback" scene to when they first married is a nice touch and makes it all the more sad, that Victoria Principal's Pam goes out in a fiery explosion at the end of the season and eventaully the character disappears,to return at the start of season 12,played by a different actress,to say she is out of Cliff's(Ken Kercheval)and Bobby's lives, she is unknown to Cliff, dying.
Sue-Ellen(Linda Gray)gets even more strong this season, she creates a highley successful lingerie business and gets revenge on J.R.'s(Larry Hagman)lover,Mandy Winger(Deborah Shelton)by making her so famous, she moves out of Dallas.
The unlucky cousin Jaime(Jenilee Harrison)having been blown up in the "dream" year, comes back for a few episodes then dies in a rock climbing accident, offscreen,no luck there, then Jaime!
New arrivals are April Stevens(Sheree J.Wilson)ex wife of Jack Ewing(Dack Rambo)who starts off as a bitch but ends up decent and falls for Bobby later...
The whole Wes Parmalee "Is it Jock Ewing with plastic surgery?"storyline is realy well done with Miss Elllie torn between jealous husband Clayton(Howard Keel)and he rlove for "Jock".
Larry Hagman is on top form,he is clearly delighted to have Patrick Duffy back and it shows!
I can't wait for season 10 of "Dallas" ye'all!

(Awful opening, but great season)
『This year opened with the "jump the shark" moment of all time: Bobby is revived from death by means of what we would learn was a year-long dream...

The world moaned. And no one could believe the biggest drama show in TV history had stooped to such lazy, self-destructive tactics... "Pam's Dream" quickly became a sitcom punchline for ages.

As weak as the previous season's plotting had admittedly been, the new season (with the old producers also returning) could have gotten on track with its new storylines almost as quickly if another, less-insulting explanation had been provided for Bobby's return--- but no such luck.

That said, this would turn out to be one of the four most entertaining seasons in DALLAS history (and arguably the last great one), what with patriarch Jock ALSO possibly returning from the dead, Bobby and Pam re-marrying, Jenna preggers and furious, Sue Ellen finally learning to dish-out to JR the kind of crap he'd given her for so long, JR's little war in the middle east...

And it's all done with such intrigue and more humor than we'd ever gotten before from DALLAS (and quite unlike the awful GREEN ACRES style camp the show would soon be handing us in subsequent years).

This is a great year for DALLAS; afterwards, it all starts to fall apart cartoon-style.』

(The LAST REAL season of Dallas)
『This 1986-1987 dallas season was THE LAST season in which all original cast members were present in the post jim davis era excluding charlene tilton who came back the next year of the show.
With bobby's return from "the dead" the show came back to reality with the bobby-pam-jenna triangle and with JR'S scemes as usual.
Remember this was the last season for pam and donna who were never to return after this season.
Ray and jenna would leave after the end of the next season and sue ellen left after season 12 so this season is the beginning of the end for the golden era of the show as it was the last who had all original cast members and the last which remained in neilsen's top 10 (almost as it was in #11).
Let's hope that the new dallas 2008 reunion will be featured in the future dallas season releases and until then we can find out what happened after pam woke up and saw bobby's "ghost" in her shower...』

(More Southfork shenanigans and Ewing Oil skulduggery in the much-loved legendary saga.)
『The worldwide mega-hit drama that dominated the 80s returns with the wheelings and dealings of those entertaining and feuding oil-rich Texans in this Season 10 DVD of all the action from Southfork and Ewing Oil. DALLAS returns to its original formula of focusing on the charismatic Ewing family, their in-fighting and J.R.'s scheming. This dramatically vibrant season won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Night Time Dramatic Serial in 1987 and its quality scripts, tightly woven plots and imaginative storylines breathe new life into the show.

Larry Hagman puts on his famous Texan Stetson for another great performance as that lovable villain J.R. Ewing who this season engineers one of his biggest and sneakiest schemes in a plot to blow up rival Arabian oil fields and stirs up a hornets' nest of trouble. The Emmy-winning and legendary Barbara Bel Geddes, who is honored at the American Theatre Hall of Fame for her outstanding contributions to American theatre, displays her great talent as an actress when Wes Parmalee's shock Jock revelation causes Miss Ellie to battle with her family and her conscience. Linda Gray wonderfully portrays a fun and conniving Sue Ellen who sets up sultry Mandy (former Miss USA Deborah Shelton) as her company's sexy lingerie model in a revenge scheme against J.R. Patrick Duffy and Victoria Principal are reunited for their winning portrayal of the 80s supercouple Bobby and Pam who finally remarry after being apart for so long. In an episode written by cast member Susan Howard Chrane (Donna Krebbs), J.R.'s venom level rises against Cliff which sets another sneaky J.R. scheme in motion.

This is a fun and funny season with many humorous lines including some between J.R. and Sue Ellen! Ken Kercheval splendidly plays Cliff Barnes in a light-hearted style throughout this season which makes Cliff more interesting and amusing. Texas-born movie veteran Steve Forrest gives a convincing performance as Wes Parmalee in a storyline involving mystery, scandal and intrigue. Victoria Principal and Ken Kercheval both display their good acting skills in some strong and entertaining scenes together. Former model Sheree J. Wilson is good as the show's new scheming and money-hungry bitch April Stevens. This season's final episode - with the spectacular end-of-season cliffhanger of Pam's explosive exit - is Victoria Principal's, Susan Howard's and Deborah Shelton's last appearances on the show. The legend that is Larry Hagman won the Soap Opera Digest Awards for Outstanding Prime Time Lead Actor and for Outstanding Prime Time Villain during this season. This is a tightly-written and taut season and it also has many comic moments and some shocking ones too.

This tenth season is produced by DALLAS veteran David Paulsen (Writer, Director&Story Editor of DVD Seasons 6, 7&8) and is well-plotted and well-executed and it also smashed its competition of the new hit MIAMI VICE in the Nielsen's ratings every week for the whole 1986-87 season which demonstrated the success and strength of this Season 10.

Next on DALLAS in the Season 11 DVD packed with devious intrigue has a nastier and meaner J.R. Ewing who is up to his evil schemes and sinister plotting to exact his ultimate revenge on Weststar. There are 4 seasons left to be released on DVD of the world's most-famous soap opera.

(Not Up to par)
『As is usual with a Pixar film, Cars has excellent visuals, and they really shine in the Blu-Ray version of the film. The movie is sure to be a hit with the kids, but falls short in one area that other Pixar films have excelled -- appeal to adults. I viewed this one once, and will probably leave it on the shelf for the sake of completeness, but I can't see watching it again, like I have with Monsters, Inc., or the exceptional WALL-E. If you're looking for something to entertain the kids, save some money and get it on DVD instead of Blu-Ray. If you're looking to build a complete collection of Pixar on Blu-Ray, it's worth the money.』

(Isn't this the same plot as "Doc Hollywood"?)
『Doc Hollywood
Don't get me wrong - I loved the movie! Animation was great, characters were lovable, etc. I just couldn't help thinking that it was a re-vamped version of "Doc Hollywood". In "Doc Hollywood", the big-shot doctor(Michael J. Fox) on his way to Beverly Hills to be a plastic surgeon and has a car accident which destroys a fence in a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere. He's stuck in this town while his Porche is being fixed, and to make up for the damage to the fence, he must help out the town's only physician (an aging guy about to retire) as community service. In short, he ends up falling in love with the town, the townspeople, and a certain lady. He ends up going to Beverly Hills to do the plastic surgeon thing, but ultimately misses the town and the girl so much, that he returns to be the town's physician. Sound familiar? Yeah, that's what I thought too.』

(Spanish?????)
『It's unbelievable. The package says that it is in Spanish, but it is completely in English. It does't have even Spanish subtitles.』

(DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER)
『DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER **** I received a used, scratched DVD, that was advertised as "NEW". When I tried to contact the seller I received no response. I have now had to claim my money back through Amazon.』

(5 stars)
『My boys love this movie so much, even after watching it for over 2 years. I've bought it 5 times because they keep scratching it, but hey, what's not to love?』
『From the acclaimed creators of TOY STORY, THE INCREDIBLES, and FINDING NEMO comes a high-octane adventure comedy that shows life is about the journey, not the finish line. Hotshot rookie race car Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is living life in the fast lane until he hits a detour on his way to the most important race of his life. Stranded in Radiator Springs, a forgotten town on the old Route 66, he meets Sally, Mater, Doc Hudson (Paul Newman), and a variety of quirky characters who help him discover that there's more to life than trophies and fame. Revved up with a sensational soundtrack, featuring Rascal Flatts, Sheryl Crow, John Mayer, James Taylor, and others, plus exciting bonus features, including the exclusive short movie "Mater And The Ghostlight," CARS is full of freewheeling fun for everyone.』
『There's an extra coat of hot wax on Pixar's vibrant, NASCAR-influenced comedy about a world populated entirely by cars. Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) is the slick rookie taking the Piston Cup series by storm when the last race of the season (the film's high-octane opening) ends in a three-way tie. On the way to the tie-breaker race in California, Lightning loses his way off Route 66 in the Southwest desert and is taught to stop and smell the roses by the forgotten citizens of Radiator Springs. It's odd to have such a slim story from the whizzes of Pixar, and the film pales a bit from their other films (though can that be a fair comparison?). Nonetheless,Carsis another gleaming ride with Pixar founder John Lasseter, who's directing for the first time sinceToy Story 2. There's the usual spectrum of excellent characters teamed with appropriate voice talent, loads of smooth humor for kids and parents alike, knockout visuals, and a colorful array of sidekicks, including a scene-stealing baby blue forklift named Guido. Lightning's plight is changed with the help of former big-city lawyer Sally Carrera (Pixar veteran Bonnie Hunt), the town's patriarch Doc Hudson (Paul Newman), and kooky tow truck Mater (Larry the Cable Guy). The Incredibleswas the first Pixar film to break the 100-minute barrier, but had enough story not to suffer;Cars, at 116 minutes (including some must-see end credit footage), is not as fortunate, plus it never pierces the heart. Trivia fans should have bonanza with the frame-by-frame DVD function; the movie is stuffed with in-jokes, some appearing only for an instant. Ages 5 and up.--Doug Thomas

(Only for the VERY coordinated)
『This DVD was disappointing and hard to follow. If you're not the most coordinated and have a hard time changing movements suddenly, this one is not for you. This is definitely my least favorite of all my fitness DVDs and my least favorite of Kathy's.』

(Not her best)
『I have owned so many Kathy Smith videos over the years. I LOVE her functionally fit peak fat burning work out and the cardio kick, but do get bored with these. I checked this one out from a local library before I spent the money and am glad that I did. I'm not the most coordinated person and this work out just confused me. I felt out of step for most of it. The moves don't seem to flow intuitively like I want in an aerobic workout. I did the full 40 minutes as I didn't feel 20 minutes was enough. The second work out was better than the 1st, but still not one of her better work outs.』

(Kathy smith is for everyone)
『kathy Smith has been around for years , but she looks amazing. she is a great instructor ,is very clear in directions, creates challenging and effective routines. This DVD has 3 sections 2 20 minute workouts plus a wonderful say goodbye to stress stretch program. It runs 60 minutes so you can do one, two or three depending on time. She has helped me change my workout habits with her great calorie burning workouts!』

(Great Workout with Annoying People)
『The Kathy Smith Timesaver- Cardio Fat Burner is a DVD with 2 20 minute cardio segments that you can use indivisually or all together. There is also a 7 minute stretch you can do at the end if you choose.
The first workout is set at a moderate pace it starts off as one small rountine that you add on to and by the end of the 20 minutes you have established a good sized rountine. The only problem is that the people exercising in the backround constantly cheer in a way that annoys rather than motivates. Also Kathy Smith will let one of the backround exercisers take over for a couple of minutes. The backround people are constantly changing positions so everyone can be up front and it creates confusion and fustration.
The second workout has several different moderatly paced rountines. At the end of each rountine you will have a choice to keep at the pace you're at or take it to a higher intensity for 30 seconds- 1 minute. The "cheering" had died down a bit and it is less annoying but every once in a while the camera will show a view of someone doing the workout and they will speed it up so that the picture is a blur making it a pain since sometimes they are in the middle of showing you a new move. I like this workout better but it is very exhausting.
Overall I thought that this DVD was a good workout despite the few things I've mentioned above and I would recommend it unless you are someone who gets aggrivated very easily in that case I'd suggest something else.』

(Not Bad, Not Good)
『This video is broken into 2, 20 minute cardio workouts, each can be do alone or when time allows, back to back for a longer workout. The exercises are a bit more playful than a standard cardio routine but still keep you working hard. But be prepared...it will also give your mind a challenge while you struggle not to laugh at how cheesy it is.

First of all, at best the music is reminiscent of something SNL would use for creating a bad clubbing' scene and Kathy's rather large group of back up exercisers are all wearing head sets (no really). With very unnatural perma-grins plastered on their faces, Kathy's entourage add their own track of overly enthusiastic whoops, hoots and oh yeahs ad nauseam. Is there such thing as a Stepford aerobiciser?

Although the video seems to offer effective and challenging routines, the informal, dance party USA, approach ultimately overshadows Kathy's focus of providing an adequate amount of instruction for my taste. This was disappointing since some of her other videos provide such thoughtful guidance. Overall, you can get a good workout, but her approach seems a bit unprofessional.』

TIMESAVER CARDIO FAT BURNER (2006) - is a well-rounded cardio workout that can be done as two individual short workouts if you are tight on time or run the full 40 minutes for an effective total body workout. Perfect for those looking to burn more fat, fire up their metabolism and break those weight loss plateaus. Excellent for all fitness levels. Bonus segment includes a 7–minute workout for Abs&Back.

- Two intense 20-minute Cardio Workouts designed for the terminally busy. - Instruction by Kathy Smith, top world fitness educator with 20+ years experience in the industry. - Over 16 million videos sold worldwide.- For beginner and intermediate fitness levels』
『That scuttling sound you hear is the last of your exercise excuses running out. Exercise vet Kathy Smith has introduced herTimesaver: Cardio Fat Burnervideo, which presents the terminally busy with a 20-minute option as well as a more well-rounded 40-minute full cardio workout in this complete, varied program. On those days when you can only manage 20 minutes, this will still get you off to a great start. And on days you can go the distance, you'll get a thought-out, well-rounded routine that's easy to follow and broken down into several levels of ability. Through it all, Smith's straightforward, cheerful (but, thankfully, minimally chirpy) delivery is inspiring yet low-key, a winning combination, especially for repeat viewings.--Anne Hurley

(Pretty cool movie.)
『Third movie in the boxset. I've always wanted to see this for some time after seeing a Pay-Per-View promo. I've also been a fan of actress Lisa Zane for some time.

The movie centers around a nurse named Laura Harriman who becomes traumatized after seeing her father kill himself over an embezzlement scandel, after he kills his own family, except for Laura. She then becomes bent on getting even with stroke victim Bob Martin (Played by Michael Fairman from Dead Silence) who is parylzed and at the same time mute. She gets a chance to do so when she gets a job as his private nurse. Laura gets her revenge by killing members of the Martin family one by one.

I don't really wanna give too much away, especially since the hurricane's approaching. I'll end this review by saying if you can find this movie, get it. The DVD quality's pretty good too.』

(not bad)
『if you like lifetime cheesy thrillers (like i do) you'll like this. its kinda predictable but good for a lazy weekend in bed.』

(Hand That Rocks The Cradle it's not ...)
『But it's not bad, either. Thoroughly entertaining flick about a misfit nurse who swears revenge against a man who caused her father to commit suicide after killing her mother and brother. I found some of the suspense scenes to be rather humorous at times, and the plot holes made the movie even funnier. Good pick for fans of cheap cinema.』

(The Nurse)
『Another of the producer Pierre David's classy thrillers which features Lisa Zane in a surprisingly effective and chilling role. Zane plays Laura Harriman, a nurse whose father was recently accused of embezzlement. When Laura walks in on her father committing suicide and murdering her mother and brother, she vows revenge on the man who accused her father. After Bob Martin, the man who made the accusation, has a stroke after hearing of Laura's family's tragedy, Laura decides to take on her revenge now and take a job as his live-in nurse. Now, Bob is helpless and paralyzed, at the mercy of his new caretaker: Nurse Harriman. Above-average direct-to-video thriller has some decent scares and moments of suspense, but the plot seems to go almost nowhere in some scenes. The performances are good and I found that the music suited the film beautifully adding an eerie feel to it. Unfortunately, the plot holes and the plot going nowhere lower the rating for this. **The reason why Nurse Laura Harriman decides to vow revenge is quite similar to that of Payton Flanders' reason to vow revenge in THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE.』

『Received quickly and in time for my great uncle to enjoy before he went in for surgery (which was successful) Thank you!』

『Worst quality dvd I have ever viewed. The picture is quality isn't even as good as a vhs recording from tv.
The color version is just recorded in b+w with a purple tint over the whole picture for a few minutes, then
green tint, then yellow tint.』

(So let me get this straight...)
『They took the FLASH GORDON serial, 13 chapters of non-stop laughs, thrills, sexy drama, and excitement, carved it down to featurette length, slashed the tops and bottom of the screen off to make it "widescreen", and then colorized it. And they're charging MONEY for it. Yes, they're asking you to PAY them to sit and look at garbage. Come to my house. I will let you look at my garbage for nothing. Well, okay, not the wastebasket in my bedroom. That's where I throw my torn underwear. Weirdo.』

(Flash Gordon: Rocketship)
『This is the real thing. Space ships were works of art and riveted together. You can walk in space without special suits. The monsters are all obvious fakes and the acting is bad. I think this is the best memory of my youth that I have come accross, very glad it has been preserved. My grandchildren love watching it with me, they see it through my eyes my children are to MATURE to enjoy it or admit they enjoy it.』
『Something new and different! The feature version of the original Flash Gordon serial--in widescreen and the amazing new 3-color Malavision toning technique which gives a more natural appearance to scenes by allowing the use of multiple hues in connection to corresponding brightness values without colorization and gives a James Bama-like feel to every scene! The widescreen process is achieved by cropping the image normally from top to bottom and extending the transfer beyond the normally cropped horizontal area to produce a widescreen proportion ratio. This Deluxe Edition includesboth widescreen and full-screen versionsof the feature, commentary by serial experts, trailers of related serials DARKEST AFRICA, THE PHANTOM EMPIRE, ADVENTURES OF FRANK MERRIWELL, FLASH GORDON, THE SEA HOUND, and KING OF THE CONGO, and a rare infomercial for Buster Crabbe swimming pools, hosted by Buster himself!』

(Planet Earth)
『The DVD "Planet Earth" is a gift to man kind from God. God's creation, so
wonderfully made and well documented and narrated by BBC's David Attenborough.

(Planet Earth - The Complete BBC Series)
『This is one of the most magnificent series I have ever seen in film. It is, without a doubt, the most comprehensive nature series ever attempted. I have watched the entire series 3 separtate times and plan to watch it again soon. I honestly believe that it is something which everyone, everywhere should see at least once in their lifetime. The series says so much about our planet and the life which inhabits it. It is educational and just darn wonderful. The music, the photograpy, the awe inspiring scenes that just take ones breath away have to been seen to be believed.』

(A great doumentary of the earth for our grandshildren)
『Fabulous photography, great narration of our existence here on earth. A absolute must see for everyone.』

(Worth owning. Spectacular!)
『I watched only 2 episodes when this was broadcast. I've now watched the entire series on DVD and can only describe it as spectacular! I know I'll watch it many times.』
『With an unprecedented production budget of $25 million, and from the makers ofBlue Planet: Seas of Life, comes the epic story of life on Earth. Five years in production, over 2,000 days in the field, using 40 cameramen filming across 200 locations, shot entirely in high definition, this is the ultimate portrait of our planet. A stunning television experience that captures rare action, impossible locations and intimate moments with our planet's best-loved, wildest and most elusive creatures. From the highest mountains to the deepest rivers, this blockbuster series takes you on an unforgettable journey through the daily struggle for survival in Earth's most extreme habitats. Planet Earth takes you to places you have never seen before, to experience sights and sounds you may never experience anywhere else.』
『As of its release in early 2007,Planet Earthis quite simply the greatest nature/wildlife series ever produced. Following the similarly monumental achievement ofThe Blue Planet: Seas of Life, this astonishing 11-part BBC series is brilliantly narrated by Sir David Attenborough and sensibly organized so that each 50-minute episode covers a specific geographical region and/or wildlife habitat (mountains, caves, deserts, shallow seas, seasonal forests, etc.) until the entire planet has been magnificently represented by the most astonishing sights and sounds you'll ever experience from the comforts of home. The premiere episode, "From Pole to Pole," serves as a primer for things to come, placing the entire series in proper context and giving a general overview of what to expect from each individual episode. Without being overtly political, the series maintains a consistent and subtle emphasis on the urgent need for ongoing conservation, best illustrated by the plight of polar bears whose very behavior is changing (to accommodate life-threatening changes in their fast-melting habitat) in the wake of global warming--a phenomenon that this series appropriately presents as scientific fact. With this harsh reality as subtext, the series proceeds to accentuate the positive, delivering a seemingly endless variety of natural wonders, from the spectacular mating displays of New Guinea's various birds of paradise to a rare encounter with Siberia's nearly-extinct Amur Leopards, of which only 30 remain in the wild.

That's just a hint of the marvels on display. Accompanied by majestic orchestral scores by George Fenton, every episode is packed with images so beautiful or so forcefully impressive (and so perfectly photographed by the BBC's tenacious high-definition camera crews) that you'll be rendered speechless by the splendor of it all. You'll see a seal struggling to out-maneuver a Great White Shark; swimming macaques in the Ganges delta; massive flocks of snow geese numbering in the hundreds of thousands; an awesome night-vision sequence of lions attacking an elephant; the Colugo (or "flying lemur"--not really a lemur!) of the Philippines; a hunting alliance of fish and snakes on Indonesia's magnificent coral reef; the bioluminescent "vampire squid" of the deep oceans... these are just a few of countless highlights, masterfully filmed from every conceivable angle, with frequent use of super-slow-motion and amazing motion-controlled time-lapse cinematography, and narrated by Attenborough with his trademark combination of observational wit and informative authority. The result is a hugely entertaining series that doesn't flinch from the predatory realities of nature (death is a constant presence, without being off-putting), and each episode ends with 10-minute "Planet Earth Diaries" (exclusive to this DVD set) that cover a specific aspect of production, like "Diving with Pirahnas" or "Into the Abyss" (the latter showing the rigors of filming the planet's most spectacular caves, including the last filming ever officially permitted in the "Chandelier Ballroom," a crystal-encrusted cavern found over a mile deep in New Mexico's treacherous Lechuguilla, the deepest cave in the continental United States.)

With so many of Earth's natural wonders on display, it's only fitting that the final DVD in this five-disc set is devoted toPlanet Earth: The Future, a separate three-part series in which a global array of experts is assembled to discuss issues of conservation, protection of delicate ecosystems, and the socio-economic benefits of understanding nature as a commodity that returns trillions of dollars in value at no cost to Earth's human population. At a time when the multiple threats of global warming should be obvious to all, let's give Sir David the last word, from the closing ofPlanet Earth's final episode: "We can now destroy or we can cherish--the choice is ours."--Jeff Shannon
