(Two of the eposides did not play) 『 I really enjoy this story. On the whole everything was great but on two separate discs there were a couple of eposides that would not play I was to say the least very disappointed.』
(Thanks) 『Thanks for a perfect product from a perfect seller, excellent shipping, everything was perfect. Thank You』
(Smallville 6th Season) 『Being a devoted Smallville, I was not disappointed. I really enjoy the introduction of new characters. Smallville is a fun show to watch and the casting of characters is very well done.』
(Loyal customer) 『We always get just what we order from amazon.com. We have never had any problems getting the products that are advertised. We always look at amazon first before shopping the retail chains. 』 『DVD Features: Deleted Scenes Featurette 』 『Picking up where its fifth season left off,Smallville's sixth season begins with Metropolis in ruins, Clark (Tom Welling) trapped in the Phantom Zone, and General Zod inhabiting the body of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum). Even when that situation, dubbed "Black Thursday," is over, Clark still has to capture the criminals who escaped from the Phantom Zone. Meanwhile, having driven away Lana (Kristin Kreuk), she finds comfort in the home and arms of Lex, driving further anxiety into that romantic triangle that has expanded to include Chloe (Allison Mack, still with a smile that lights up the orb on top of the Daily Planet) and her new beau, photographer Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore). And Lois (Erica Durance)? We see hints of her inevitable future in her becoming a reporter for the tabloid ragThe Inquisitor("The thrill of discovery, the clack of the keys, the scent of fresh ink… I think I've finally found my calling!") and flashing some sparks with Clark especially in a Valentine's Day episode called "Crimson."
She also finds a new boyfriend in Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley), a tycoon who moves from Star City to Metropolis and revives a boarding-school rivalry with Lex. But Queen is also a superhero, the Green Arrow, and he's out to thwart Lex's project called 33.1, which runs tests on meteor-powered humans. And in an awesome episode called "Justice," the Green Arrow gathers his team--Bart Allen (Kyle Gallner), a.k.a. Impulse (a change after he was first called the Flash); Arthur "AC" Curry (Alan Ritchson), a.k.a. Aquaman; and Victor Stone (Lee Thompson Young), a.k.a. Cyborg (who had all appeared in the series before)--with Clark to shut down Lex. Yet another hero from the comic books--an interplanetary detective (Phil Morris)--helps Clark fight rogue Kryptonians. It all ends in a slam-bang finale with a number of surprises. Even though the Lana drama went on too long, Green Arrow and some choice episodes stuff made this one ofSmallville's best seasons. Guest stars include Tori Spelling as a nosy gossip reporter and Lynda "Wonder Woman" Carter as Chloe's mom.--David Horiuchi』

We had the separate VHS movies and my son had wanted them on DVD for a long time. Then the new movie came out and I noticed this collection at Amazon.com. Great purchase! Great quality and bonus extras! I highly recommend this item!』
(Ideal For New Fans) 『As of this May I became an Indiana Jones fan. When I was younger the movies scared me away because of their more gruesome scenes (specifically the opening of the Ark). Since the fourth movie was coming out this year I decided that it was finally time to watch the series... and I had a blast doing so. These are fun, campy movies.
This set is ideal for new fans such as myself or for fans who don't own any of the movies on DVD. You get all four of the movies in a nice-looking box set plus the second disc from the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Special Edition DVD.
My only complaint would be a lack of special features from the original three films, but that's to be expected with older movies before all these behind-the-scenes features were the norm.
Anyway, if you enjoyed all four of the Indiana Jones movies and would like to own'm then this is exactly what you want.』

NO is the first in which the James Bond popular culture came to know and love makes his appearance and is often considered the best of them all. Sean Connery plays Bond a bit different from the character on the pages of Ian Fleming spy novels as well as turning in an improved performance over his previous effort in DR. NO. Connery made a Bond better fit for the screen, giving the character more personality, more charisma and humor than Fleming's buttoned-up, bland English gentleman spy. As one co-producer of the Bond films says,"We always start out trying to make another FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE and end up with another THUNDERBALL". Well, THUNDERBALL is just another good Sean Connery Bond action film while FROM RUSSIA.. is film classic.』
(The Best Bond Film) 『I am a James Bond purist. I've seen each James Bond movie (except Quantum of Solace) at least twice, and own all of the Special Edition DVDs from 2002. I have come to the conclusion that this is the best of the Bond films.
I've read several of the James Bond novels, and I believe that starting with Goldfinger, the film series began to rely too heavily on gadgets and other things that distracted from the plot. This and Dr. No are the most faithful to the novel series, and they also have the best production values. FRWL is the better of the two.
Since I already own all of the films on DVD from 2002, I was reluctant to re-purchase them when they were released as "Ultimate Edition" DVDs a couple years ago. I wound up not re-purchasing them, and I'm glad I didn't. I just bought Dr. No and FRWL on Blu-ray, which feature better picture and sound quality than the DVDs, and also have better extras. I highly reccommend picking this (and Dr. No) up on Blu-ray!Dr. No (James Bond) [Blu-ray]』
(Ray, Blu Ray) 『Since this is 2008, you have probably seen From Russia with Love. If not, seek out one of the other hundreds of reviews here that talk about the plot points, set pieces and Sean Connery. They can fill you in better than I can. What I will concentrate on is this new Blu-Ray release. Having owned just about every other version of this movie (Beta [Yes Beta...I blame my Dad for that], VHS, Laserdisc, and DVD), I can easily say this high-def release is the best. If you also own this movie on another format and are waffling about buying the Blu-Ray release, do it...especially if you are a Bond fan.
On a HDTV you will "see" this movie for the first time. I started picking out extras in the background and details on Sean Connery's clothing that I had never noticed before. When you watch Q make his entrance and go over Bond's attaché case, check out how smoke stained Desmond Llewelyn's hands are. It really is amazing and makes you appreciate the movie on a whole new level.
With a nice DTS 5.1 soundtrack and a slew of extras, this will be a great addition to your Blu-Ray collection. I know it is to mine. 』
(Good, but not as good as others say.) 『The plot is confusing and the villain is bland, but Connery is great are as his Bond girls. And it slowed down, but had a stellar ending. Worth a watch.』
(Oustanding!) 『This film has never looked so beautiful. The Blu-Ray edition is outstanding and plays perfectly on my PS3. (The Biggest Bond of All) 『I was around for this Bond films original release, you cannot imagine the excitement it engendered. Multiply this summer's excitement over "The Dark Knight" by 2. In terms of 1965 dollars, it is still the highest-grossing Bond. People were waiting out in the December cold at 8am in the morning the day it opened. Like Goldfinger before it, it played at various theaters 24 hours a day. Tons of merchandising were created for this film. I can still remember the excitement 43 years later. Connery is at his coolest in this film, the direction by Terrence Young, (the director of Dr. No and FRWL,) is terrific and this film still has the greatest underwater fight scene ever done. (Compare it to the absolutely mediocre remake Never Say Never Again.) A true Bond classic and one of my ten favorite Bond films.』

(Look Up! Look Down! Look Out! The biggest Bond of them all) 『Taking into account inflation, THUNDERBALL is, by far, the biggest grosser in the series. In 2008 dollars the film would have grossed nearly a billion dollars. It has some slow moments but by and large it is a large scale world shaking epic. The threat of nuclear blackmail has a sense of urgency that the remake, NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN, never achieves. Connery gives his most relaxed performance as Bond, Adolfo Celli is meancing as Largo, Claudine Auger stunning as Domino and Luciana Paluzzi as a deadly liason for Bond. Remembered for the underwater battle the film is based on Fleming's novel which inturn was based on a screenplay by himself, Jack Whittingham and Kevin McClory -- the basis for a major lawsuit that has reverberated over the decades and resulting in NSNA in 1983 (releasing the same year as Roger Moore's outing OCTOPUSSY -- which made more money) as well as an unsuccessful attempt by Sony and McClory to launch an independent Bond series in the late 1990's. MGM/UA won the battle and the dust on this whole affair has probably settled for good with the passing of McClory earlier this year. An interesting side note: like FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, Connery never utters the line "My name is Bond, James Bond." Among the special features (which pretty much uses the same from the previous edition)is the 1965 NBC special "The Incredible World of James Bond".』
(cover art shock! (Blu-ray Disc)) 『Is this a joke? The Highest End 1080p Blu-ray version for eternity of a long row of versions of this beautiful Bond classic with a bad looking and, worse, mirror-image picture of Sean Connery on the cover?? Who decides this?? This is world cinema of global player companies, and they can't afford a graphic designer!! The only reason can be, they want the film to look "different" for the supermarket-mass-audience buyer, might work. When I remember the care that went into the THUNDERBALL Laserdisc Box in 1997 using unused but beautiful cover art. Similar treatment with the cover on the FOR YOUR EYES ONLY Blu-ray with a Roger image not from that film (too young).』 『The thrills never let up as James Bond dives into this riveting adventure filled with explosive confrontations and amazing underwater action sequences! Sean Connery brings his characteristic style, humor and magnetism to Agent 007 as he travels to Nassau to track down villainous criminal Emilio Largo, who's threatening to plunge the world into a nuclear holocaust. From Bond's thrilling jetpack flight to his heart-stopping clash with Largo's killer sharks, Thunderball is a stupendous mixture of action, romance and edge-of-your-seat suspense!』 『James Bond's fourth adventure takes him to the Bahamas, where a NATO warplane with a nuclear payload has disappeared into the sea. Bond (Sean Connery) travels from a tony health spa (where he tangles with a mechanized masseuse run amuck) to the casinos of Nassau and soon picks up the trail of SPECTRE's number-two man, Emilio Largo (Adolfo Celi), and his beautiful mistress, Domino (Claudine Auger), whom Bond soon seduces to his side. Equipped with more gadgets than ever, courtesy of the resourceful "Q" (Desmond Llewelyn), agent 007 escapes an ambush with a personal-size jet pack and takes to the water as he searches for the undersea plane, battles Largo's pet sharks, and finally leads the battle against Largo's scuba-equipped henchmen in a spectacular underwater climax. This thrilling Bond entry became Connery's most successful outing in the series and was remade in 1983 asNever Say Never Again, with Connery returning to the role after a 12-year hiatus. His playboy brother Charlie (Charlie Sheen) dates a woman who worships Satan, and also strikes up a relationship with a proper ballet dancer who refuses to sleep with him (but does ask him to donate some sperm). And Alan's 11-year-old son Jake (Angus T. Jones), who has just started dating, proves to be the most mature member of the oddball household. All 24 episodes of the series, which originally aired during the 1995-1996 television season, are included in this concise four-disc set. There are some surprises this season, including a death and a wedding (not on the same day). There are also plenty of vulgar moments; for instance, Jake not only learns about booty calls, but he also finds out the about why some men use Viagra. With guest stars ranging from Jon Lovitz, Sheen's real-life dad Martin Sheen, and Cloris Leachman (as Alan's older woman),Two and a Half Mendelivers the laughs. Always hilarious, Leachman is priceless in her role as Norma. Contemplating Charlie's "relationship" with a beautiful young sex kitten, Alan scoffs, "It must be fun dating a woman whose IQ is the same as her age." Charlie shoots back, "I could say the same about you." Touche.--Jae-Ha Kim』

(The last good season) 『It's all downhill from here. Homer Overdrive is my favorite episode. There are several different stories going on at once in this one, and my favorite quote ever, "Maybe we should stop forcing our beliefs on people and get real jobs!" Excellent, excellent writing. I'm not sure exactly what happened after this season, but the difference in quality is obvious. I stubbornly refuse to purchase anything past season 10. I'm just saying!』
(Top class Springfield fun) 『This is a great series from one of the funniest shows on TV. Fantastically good and consistently entertaining. Great stuff.』
(The cracks are starting to appear!) 『In Season 10, the Simpsons are starting to show some of the faults that make more recent seasons uneven and less enjoyable. This is not the fault of the writers per se - it's hard to keep characters and situations fresh when a show passes the decade mark. Thus, as much as I admire the absurdity of the Simpsons' writing, starting in Season 10 the writers too often cross the border from absurd to outright silly. For example, in this season Mr. Burns captures the Loch Ness Monster (in "Burns Can't Buy Me Love"). It would be okay for such an even to occur in a Hallowe'en episode, for example, but it doesn't feel right as a regular season show. Similarly, although the 3-mini-story episode "Simpsons Bible Stories" the Hallowe'en episode gimmick of telling Bible stories as three short stories proliferates in later seasons, but generally they are inferior episides (especially on repeated viewings). So, a list of the best episodes from this season is shorter than for a season between 4 and 8, but there are still some great episodes, such as
Treehouse of Horrors IX - featuring Maggie as the son of the alien Kodos. Also has Bart and Lisa teleported into an Itchy and Scratchy catoon.
When You Dish Upon a Star - Homer becomes a gopher for Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, who have a vacation house in Springfield. Featuring an especially memorable guest starring performance by Ron Howard ("Homer, we're out of vodka!")
Mayored to the Mob - When Mark Hammill asks for a volunteer from the audience to help him act out a scene from Star Wars, the Bi-Mon Sci-Fi Con erupts in a riot. Homer saves both Hammill and the Mayor, leading to Homer becoming the Mayor's bodyguard.
Homer to the Max - Homer has his name legally changed to Max Power ("I got it from a hair drier"). As a result of his hip new name, he and Marge end up in Ed Beagley Jr.'s protest group, chained to old-growth forest trees.
30 Minutes Over Tokyo - my favourite "Simpsons on Vacation" episode (so far). They are in Tokyo (obviously) where Homer and Bart end up in jail, and the whole family suffers seizures while watching the local TV station. Guest stars George Takei as a sadistic game show host on whom the Simpsons depend on supplying their way home.
Unfortunately, many of the other episodes are marred by inconsistency - they are very funny in places, but become silly and/or cannot maintain a whole story. I previously pointed out the appearance of the Loch Ness Monster, but we also have the Simpsons descending into Hell (and not in a Hallowe'en episode), a Godzilla attack, and a second wife for both Homer and Flanders. There is the fortunate balance of a fantastic set of guest stars, especially the aforementioned Hammill (who also participates in the episode's audio commentary) and Stephen Hawking. Thus, the season is well worth buying on DVD, but the "cracks in the show's hilarious facade" are starting to appear, and this is one of the last seasons I will be purchasing.
There is the usual slate of extras - audio commentary on every episode, some layout artists demonstrating their crafts, and the all-important inclusion of deleted scenes. Somehow the audio commentaries remain fresh and interesting, even 10 seasons into the show (a marked contrast to the commentaries on, say, "Friends" that are stale by the time they reach Season 5, even though they only do 3-4 a season).』
(Not their best season, but...) 『Not their best season, but there are a few gems. Lisa fights against kids trying to grow up too quickly in "Lard of the Dance." Bart gets to show his tender side in "Bart the Mother." Marge, on the other hand, shows her aggressive yet still the mother that holds the family together in "Screaming Yellow Honkers." And "Make Room for Lisa" shows that as different as Lisa and Homer are, there is still a lot of love.』 『Studio: Tcfhe Release Date: 10/07/2008 Rating: Nr』

(Favorite show!!) 『It's refreshing to watch a television program that isn't written for the "stoopitt" people out there in the world. So many shows lately have to dumby down with their writing so everyone understands what's happening. It's insulting and gets really boring for those of us out here who actually already get it all along...HOUSE is one of those amazingly written shows that appeals to the smarter folks out here. It has excellent humor and drama and mystery, and is worth spending an hour of your time watching because you're going to get everything you tune in for every episode.
There's a formula to each episodes, much like with LAW AND ORDER, but even though you understand how the process works, the endings are most often still quite the surprising twist that you'd never see coming.
The special features are great, but of-course, I always wish for more. Highly recommended!!』
(Awesome-est TV show EVER) 『It's all good. Yeah, season 3 is slightly better because obviously there's more eps. Season 4 is trimmed slightly due to the WGA strike but it was worth it. The season finale two-parter is fantastic.』
(Just what I asked for.) 『It was exactly what the description says, one of the most interesting seasons in my opinion. Love amazon!』
(A little short...but good) 『Like the seasons before it, this is definatly a great show. However because of the writers strike it was sadly cut short a little bit. But its still great.』 『Prepare for even more baffling, complex and shocking medical mysteries than ever before as every season four episode of House arrives on DVD! Reunite with the perplexing and prickly Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie in his two-time Golden Globe®-winning role) as he tackles impossible cases while putting a new staff of potential team members – including Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle), Peter Jacobson (The Starter Wife), and Olivia Wilde (The Black Donnellys) – through the medical wringer with his trademark sarcasm and irreverent bedside manner. Get ready for another dose of one of TV’s most original dramas and what Entertainment Weekly calls “One of the most compelling characters in TV history.”』 『For Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), there's nothing like a good, tension-filled competition to pick his new team of doctors when his old trio of Chase (Jesse Spencer), Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and Foreman (Omar Epps) leave his fold. Among the 40 newbies vying to earn the coveted spots in the fourth season ofHouse, M.D.are Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn, theHarold&Kumarfilms), Dr. Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson,Transformers) and Dr., uh, Thirteen (Olivia Wilde,The O.C.). Taking a cue from Flavor Flav, House dubs the latter with that nickname simply because he can. Though frequently politically incorrect, House is almost always spot on when it comes to diagnosing rare diseases and ailments. His boss Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) puts up with his unorthodox quirks, which include antagonizing patients, berating his colleagues, and being an overall pain in the butt, because he's brilliant. The addition of the new doctors adds a bit of chaos early on. But once the contingent is whittled away to the select few, the storylines grow stronger and the chemistry between the old and new cast members gels. Originally shown during the 2007-2008 television season,Houseaired only 16--rather than its usual 24--episodes, due to the Writers Guild strike. Though a bit of momentum is lost in the last third of the season, the writers do an admirable job of piecing together loose ends without sacrificing plot or structure. In a nice homage to thePrescription Passion, theGeneral Hospital-esque soap opera he loves, House at one point is afflicted with amnesia. The humorous aspect of the story is offset by urgency as he tries to remember what needs to be done to save a patient. On a separate episode, House kidnaps the star of the daytime drama (played bySex and the Cityhunk Jason Lewis) because he's convinced the actor is dying. The season finale is heartbreaking, as one of House's 40 candidates is in a life-and-death situation that even the good doctor may not be able to cure.--Jae-Ha Kim』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review ("Me want food!") 『Season 2 of "30 Rock" was perhaps even stronger than Season 1. For me, the biggest improvement was a move away from having Liz (Tina Fey) fixed up with a man each week; instead, she has a few brief flings, notably with two exes from Season 1 - lawyer Floyd (Jason Sudeikis) and low-brow Dennis (Dean Winter). The show aso did a nice job of giving less screen time to some of the less funny characters, particular Pete the producer (Scott Adsit) and Judah (Judah Friedlander).
A number of funny plot arcs were developed over the season. Jenna (Jane Krakowski) gains weight because of her role in the musical version of "Mystic Pizza," which apparently involved eating a lot of said pizza. At first, she's desperate to lose the weight, contacting Dr. Spaceman and discussing drastic measures; however, she ends up embracing the weight when it makes her popular on the show and gives her a new catchphrase - "Me want food!" Jack (Alec Baldwin) spends much of the season sucking up to Don Geiss (Rip Torn), the CEO of GE who is in the process of naming a successor. This plot also introduces a new rival for Jack - Devon Banks (Will Arnett) - who's willing to do anything to get ahead, including marrying Don Geiss' intellectually challenged daughter.
These are just some of the subplots that keep "30 Rock" clicking during season 2. The season is also chock full of guest stars, some of whom do some of their best work in years, particularly Carrie Fisher as a desperate comedy writer. The show really found its pacing and tone during this season. On a negative note, some of the characters became increasingly silly, especially Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan), and some of the episodes are almost surrealistic, but "30 Rock" never was a show grounded in reality anyway. Overall, the season was a great success and the show was awarded Emmy's for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor (Alec Baldwin) and Lead Actress (Tina Fey) in a Co
