(Thirsty for this Movie)
『You will really enjoy this movie!

Great acting, fun, funny and incredibly horrific!

If you are a fan of Anne Rice's, this movie is for you!

Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have great chemistry together.

Sit back and enjoy!』

(Cruise&Neil Jordan create an unforgettable interview)
『When it was reported in the media that Tom Cruise was to play the lead part of Lestat, the legendary vampire, in Anne Rice's "Interview with the Vampire", the author herself was dead set against casting the famous movie star as her lead character. However after seeing the completed version of the film, Rice revised her opinion of Cruise and pronounced the performance "brilliant". This role, keep in mind, was passed over originally by Daniel Day Lewis and Jeremy Irons and in retrospect, they would've been too old to play the ever youthful Lestat so I think Cruise was an excellent choice. Also excellent are Brad Pitt as the doomed Louis and a very young Kirsten Dunst as the little girl who never ages. Neil Jordan, coming off his recent hit, "The Crying Game", also delivered with an involving psychological horror film of the first caliber. I am now renting this film in Blu-ray and will comment on its quality which is in debate by some of the customers here. Nevertheless, Blu-ray or standard, this is a film worth seeing if you're a fan of the book or an Anne Rice. I think Cruise is an under-rated actor who has also given brilliant performances in "Born on the 4th of July" and "Magnolia" but because of his good looks is often ignored (The Cary Grant fate!!) as Michael Caine has stated in an interview. Let's hope he doesn't do too many action films and goes for the jugular in his future films!!』

(Sexual, Dark and Relatable. Louis got me Hooked!)
『I can't even begin to explain how incredible this Spellbinding movie from Anne Rice is. I'm very glad she has written it. She has a very workable imagination. Anybody can join in to work with her.(almost.) Well, let's get with the cast of this movie, now we have: Tom Cruise as Lestat, Brad Pitt as the remorseful vampire, Louis, Kirsten Dunst as the precocious Claudia and Antonio Banderas as Armand. The movie starts with a character played by Christian Slater, readying his tape recorder, beginning to interview a...vampire. The human-like creature turns to him, revealing himself to be..Louis, Brad's character. He begins to tell his story from his P.O.V. When he was human, he had a wife who died of childbirth, his baby boy or girl never made it either. So, he was already ready for death. That's when a vampire named Lestat decided to answer his prayers. The first time he taken his blood,he asked him,has he had enough. The second time he taken his blood, he told him, " I'm going to give you the choice,I've never had." Lestat gave him another life, ETERNAL LIFE. And for that,Louis sees the last sunrise for himself. I gotta admit, Brad's character has never looked so handsome and beautiful before. What a sexy-looking vampire! Anyway, the vampire saying went, "In order to survive, you must feed!" Louis couldn't bring himself to feed on the blood of humans, leading Lestat to do all the killing. Louis always fed on the blood of poodles, chickens and rats. Lestat found it funny for some reason. When push came to shove, they had their arguments and petty disagreements, talking about survival and being a killer vampire vs. morality. Lestat knew that Louis didn't like the way of survival, but he didn't care. While feeling stressed out, Louis found a little girl named Claudia, with her dead mother. He held her tight and sucked her blood. Lestat found them and started laughing and dancing with the dead corpse, celebrating the triumph of Louis's first taste of human blood. Louis was very depressed with himself and ran off to a sewer drain. Later on, Lestat found him, and told him he had a surprise for him. He took Louis back home and found Claudia, lying on the bed. Louis thought he killed her, but she was half-dead in vampire limbo. So, Lestat gives her a taste of his blood from his cut, she drinks until he shouted enough, and Claudia is transformed to the point of looking like a curly-haired doll with a savage bloodthirst to match. So, without giving the whole movie away, they tried living together, but, being that Lestat's rules were too much, they turned on him and ran, thinking he's dead. Together, Louis and Claudia searched the world for vampires just like them. And they did. First, they found a vampire named Santiago and then a leader named Armand. Armand welcomes them into his theatre and his underground Lair. Claudia doesn't trust Armand and his crew, but Louis says he has no choice but to stay where they are. Meanwhile,he was looking for a new mentor. I believe he found it in Armand, the oldest vampire he never met until that very moment. There's something else that's bugging Claudia, she needs a mother figure. After Louis feeds on the woman, believing himself a heartless vampire,Claudia kisses him. Spolier Alert: If you've never seen this movie and don't want the ending given away, then please read no further! Needless to say Armand's theartre troupe vampires including Santiago turn on Louis,Claudia, and for no real reason the woman 'cause they read their thoughts about they're incident between them and Lestat. So they wall up Louis to put him out of the way, and then they throw Claudia and the woman in a room where the sun comes through over-head. Sadly they both die "burnt to a crisp" with Louis unable to help them. So enraged about what had happened Louis seeks vengance by slicing up and burning those evil theatre troupe vampires. After that Louis not only decides that he was only going to get the worst end of the deal staying with Armand but also dubbed himself as "self-sufficient. After that, he could deal with light, he seen Lestat for the last time, told the ending to Christian's character to publish and also told him that he doesn't want eternal life. When Christian's character drives off into the dawn, Lestat scares him by surprise and takes his blood. He drives the car, listens to the tape and says to him, "I'm going to give you the choice,I never had." If you're a fan of Anne Rice or any other good novelist, this is the movie for you.』

(Louis's (Eternal) Life Story)
『In this gothic, bloody, and witty film, the vampire Louis tells his life story to a curious man. The story spans years, but this is one film that doesn't drag on a second too long. It's an adaptation of the Anne Rice's novel of the same name, and one can tell that a lot of care was taken to get the story right, most likely because Rice herself penned the screenplay. The cast is mostly great, with Tom Cruise at a surprising high as the sadistic and clever vampire Lestat, Brad Pitt as the sympathetic vampire protagonist Louis, and a young Kirsten Dunst who gives a marvelous performance as the child vampire Claudia.

The movie lost me a bit with the introduction of Armand, mainly because I didn't like Antonio Banderas's performance, but I also don't really think the script--or Louis's chemistry with Armand, for that matter--sold the relationship between those characters to me. I thought that could have been developed a bit more, to make Louis's sudden desire to part ways with Claudia less abrupt. There's not much else fault I can find in the movie, though I should add that I don't think this film is for everyone. Those looking for a straight horror flick or even your average vampire tale might be surprised by the slowly building pace of this film. I loved the pacing, and felt as if I were in the room with Louis himself as he told the tale of his life. It's a brooding, dark, homoerotic, intelligent, and intricate film about a vampire trying to fight his nature, living with his choices, and becoming what he was destined to be.

8/10』

(Great)
『I read this book and have seen this movie many times and I can sincerely tell you they did an incredible job with this thing. It is completely memorable. Her book was amazing and I thought I would be disappointed with this but its pretty good. Cruise plays an awesome Lestat. Enjoy.』
『After 200 years of immortality a morose vampire named louis decides to tell a young reporter his story a tale that leaves a trail of blood and death through history from the 18th century creole country to modern day san francisco. Special features: subtitles in english french and spanish and much more. Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 11/11/2008 Starring: Tom Cruise Brad Pitt Run time: 123 minutes Rating: R Director: Neil Jordan』
『When it was announced that Tom Cruise would play the vampire Lestat in this adaptation of Anne Rice's bestselling novel, even Rice chimed in with a highly publicized objection. The author wisely and justifiably recanted her negative opinion when she saw Cruise's excellent performance, which perceptively addresses the pain and chronic melancholy that plagues anyone cursed with immortal bloodlust. Brad Pitt and Kirsten Dunst are equally good at maintaining the dark and brooding tone of Rice's novel. And in this rare mainstream project for a major studio, director Neil Jordan compensates for a lumbering plot by honoring the literate, Romantic qualities of Rice's screenplay. Considered a disappointment while being embraced by Rice's loyal followers, the movie is too slow to be a satisfying thriller, but it is definitely one of the most lavish, intelligent horror films ever made.--Jeff Shannon

(Awesome Film)
『This film is freaking great!

I have the Limited Collector's Edition, with the digital copy... the only thing is I can't get the digital copy without the 25 digit authorization code! I can't seem to find it... anybody else experiencing the same thing?』

(wish I'd known what to expect)
『I didn't know much of what to expect--just that it was a historical war movie.

I tell you this so you'll understand why I was underwhelmed for the first quarter of the movie. The monochromatic filming, mostly in sepia tones, but then occasionally in blues, got pretty irritating. And then there was the Heroic Music and the Ominous Music trying to get me all excited or worried about characters I didn't even know yet. And that was really irritating.

It starts off with voice-over narration and a little boy going off to be trained as a Spartan warrior. Complete with a weird-looking CGI wolf. I couldn't figure out why they couldn't use a real wolf. Lots of scrawny kid skulking around being shadowed by a goofy looking wolf with the dramatic music. In sepia.

Truthfully, I was tempted it to the males and go off to the computer or a book.

But it's a good thing I kept watching. Once the boy grew up, he became King Leonidas (Gerard Butler). Xerxes of Persia invades, and Leonidas goes to the Oracle to get... well, basically to get permission to repel the invasion. But the priests are paid off and they advise against it. So Leonidas takes 300 men for a walk.

There's intrigue back home as the Queen tries to send reinforcements, but mostly, it's battle scenes. The fighting did really remind me of the Alerans in Captain's Fury (Codex Alera, Book 4)--the shieldwall type of fighting and the disciplined soldiers were very familiar.

The cinematography continues, with the colored filters and a somewhat dizzying switching between slow motion and fast forward. Here's where knowing what I was getting into might have helped. I've since discovered that 300 is based on a graphic novel that's based on a movie that's based on history. And then it made sense--the cinematography gave it that stylish, surrealistic feel that fits with the graphic novel.

It also made the violence much easier to take for this squeamish viewer.

So, 4 stars, but if I'd known what to expect, I'd probably have enjoyed it a half-star more.』

(I loved this movie)
『I originally had to view this movie for a history class on history on film. This movie blew me away. You have to keep in mind that it is based on a comic book so the coloring and graphics are going to look exactly like a graphic novel, which is actually one of the best parts because it is so unique. The movie is a little gory but that's because it is depicting one of the most famous battles of Ancient Greece. The acting is amazing. Also, while you are watching it, you can see a lot of intentional parallels with America and its involvement in the war in Iraq. When the Spartan Queen goes before her "congress" she speaks about how the war is being fought for all the reasons America goes to war. So this movie is actually oddly relevant.

This movie will have you rooting for the 300 spartans and will have you on the edge of your seat. It is non-stop action and fairly historically accurate. It also follows the graphic novel to a "T". I highly recommend this for any history fans, graphic novel fans, and fans of war&actions movies. Word of warning, it is a little graphic and there is a scene where the King and Queen of Sparta are "intimate" so it is not for young viewers.』

(Great Visuals, Over-the-Top Performances)
『"300 - The Limited Collector's Edition" is a deluxe repackaging of the feature film with mountains of bonus extras. The plot focuses on the Battle of Thermopylae, when armies of the Persian Empire were hot to conquer Sparta. The macho Spartans have been indoctrinated since birth to never surrender, never retreat. King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) leads 300 of his bravest men to lure the Persians into a narrow gorge where the enemy's huge numbers will be of no advantage. However, traitors are working to undermine Sparta's attempt to maintain its independence.
Based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller ("Sin City"), "300" is a bloody movie filled with over-the-top, intense images and a stylized manner of acting in which performers are given to shout and bluster, delivering every line as if it were vitally significant. This tends to get tired pretty quickly. But the movie is fun, if only for the wild visuals combining live action and CGI animation and the film's muted color palette. In its clear demarcation between good and evil, "300" is hardly subtle and in many ways is a throwback to films of the 1950's when the audience knew from the get-go that the star was the one to root for. This is simple story-telling embellished with breathtaking visuals, the true attraction of the movie.
The Limited Collector's Edition contains the previously released two-disc Special Edition along with the new documentary, "To the Hot Gates: A Legend Retold," a look at the process the filmmakers followed to take a graphic novel's treatment of an ancient legend and realize it as a feature film. There are also a digital copy of the movie, a 52-page hardcover art book, a lucite display with motion film image, and six photo cards.』

(Lame lame lame)
『I went to this movie with few expectations. From the previews, I expected no more than a random, brutal, and stylized action flick, but it still didn't impress. The movie replaced half of the would-be action and violence with a steriotypical story about a soldier giving his life for his family. The movie shoulv'e at least mellowed out the overly-dramatic and soap-opera like emotional dialogue, because it didn't work out very well with the overall presentation of the film. As far as the stylized action goes, the computer-generated blood looks cool as swords impact flesh, but every drop of blood dissapears before it reaches the edge of the screen .Noone wasnts to see an awesome blood spurt fly through the air, and then quickly fade into nothing. This was just downright lame. All of the soldiers would come out of battle clean and blood-spatter free. This is in no way nearly as good as Sin City. Lastly, the movie doesn't feel either visceral nor intense, just clean and full of disapearing blood effects. The movie comes off as lame and cheesy. Rent it first.』
『The epic graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City) assaults the screen with the blood, thunder and awe of its ferocious visual style faithfully recreated in an intense blend of live-action and CGI animation. Retelling the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, it depicts the titanic clash in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his massive Persian army. Experience history at swordpoint. And moviemaking with a cutting edge.』
『LikeSin Citybefore it,300brings Frank Miller and Lynn Varley's graphic novel vividly to life. Gerard Butler (Beowulf and Grendel,The Phantom of the Opera) radiates pure power and charisma as Leonidas, the Grecian king who leads 300 of his fellow Spartans (including David Wenham ofThe Lord of the Rings, Michael Fassbender, and Andrew Pleavin) into a battle against the overwhelming force of Persian invaders. Their only hope is to neutralize the numerical advantage by confronting the Persians, led by King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), at the narrow strait of Thermopylae.

More engaging thanTroy, the tepid and somewhat similar epic of ancient Greece,300is also comparable toSin Cityin that the actors were shot on green screen, then added to digitally created backgrounds. The effort pays off in a strikingly stylized look and huge, sweeping battle scenes. However, it's not as to-the-letter faithful to Miller's source material asSin Citywas. The plot is the same, and many of the book's images are represented just about perfectly. But some extra material has been added, including new villains (who would be considered "bosses" if this were a video game, and it often feels like one) and a political subplot involving new characters and a significantly expanded role for the Queen of Sparta (Lena Headey). While this subplot by director Zack Snyder (Dawn of the Dead) and his fellow co-writers does break up the violence, most fans would probably dismiss it as filler if it didn't involve the sexy Headey. Other viewers, of course, will be turned off by the waves of spurting blood, flying body parts, and surging testosterone. (The six-pack abs are also relentless, and the movie has more and less nudity--more female, less male--than the graphic novel.) Still, as a representation of Miller's work and as an ancient-themed action flick with a modern edge,300delivers.--David Horiuchi

『Charlton Heston did a great job with the introduction of the movie!! The movie itself is touching and inspiring. This movies should be viewed by all ages. Families required!!!』

(Great for young and old)
『My wife and I got this one for our child, and it's loved my the family we watch it over and over. It is best to view all programs with young children, because no matter how innocent a DVD may seem children always have questions that are best answered by their parents. "Faith without works is dead" so do not leave the education of your child to the television, teach them the way God would.』

(Inspiring Interest in a Future Believer)
『This DVD production of the Joseph&The Coat of Many Colors story has accomplished exactly what I had hoped for my 3yr old son: an interest in learning about the Lord and His involvement in the lives of those who trust Him. My son often recites (in surprising detail) various scenes from the tale. One of my fellow brothers in Christ calls my son "The Little Preacher" because my son enjoys capturing the attention of those around him so he can retell the story of Joseph&The Coat of Many Colors. I understand some reviewing this telling of the story may prefer stricter adherence to various nuances and literary exactness from Scripture - I can appreciate that as I am a literal believer of Scripture. There is never a perfect retelling of any Biblical story that will appeal to everyone's preference. As already mentioned, this achieved what I had hoped for my son: help him develop an interest in learning about the Lord, building a faith in the Lord, and forgiving those who wrong him.』

(quality biblical "edutainment" for the whole family)
『This is my favorite story in Genesis. This cartoon version is just perfect for kids or adults. The story is first introduced by Charlton Heston. If the kids start looking around for other things to do, don't worry. The introduction is brief, but it's a good one followed by the cute animated story of Joseph and his coat of many colours which everyone will love. My friend's son was only 2 when he watched part of this and he was glued to it! The characters are cute and all of the Heroes and Legends videos are told in a way that it easy for a child to understand.』

(Sublime Post-Apocalyptic Aussie Trash)
『In the near future (that is, 1994) the world is brought to the brink of anarchy by, for some reason, inflation. This has apparently caused millions of rusted car frames to be scattered around Australia, and forced everyone to dress like hepped up punk rockers and fight with tire irons. Thusly, the government tricks the unemployed people into drive ins and locks them up. This clever ruse works despite the fact that no one in Australia ever returns from the movies. If you like movies which are both painfully bad and jaw-droppingly amazing, this is the film for you. What doesn't it have? There is pointless nudity, vast continuity problems, tire fires, dozens of Mad Max meets the Sex Pistols montages, a fight with cricket bats,a timeless lesson about racism/relationships/junk food, a fight with car parts, amazing hairstyles, a monkey smoking pot, vigilante tow truck squads, and plot holes you could drive one of their combat ready tonka's through. This is an excellent cultural artifact shedding light on the eighties, sub-cultures, and Australian psychoses. Don't expect it to be good, but prepare for it to be amazing.』

『This one has it all. There's violence, sex, car chases, explosions, cheezy '80s music,a '56 Chevy, and most importantly a drive-in! In a futuristic 1990 the government is keeping the unemployed youth locked up in a drive-in and giving them snack bar food, drugs, beer, and all night movies for free.Where do I sign up? Yes it's a bit silly at times, and the premise is unbelievable, but after all it's a "B" film. You just can't expect perfection in films like these, and I (for one) wouldn't have it any other way. There's nothing like stepping back to a simpler time and place. This fine little independent film from Down Under is just like taking a mini vacation in the way back machine.Pop this one in the DVD break out the popcorn and a cold Fosters and enjoy this blast from the past....8)

8/10 on the Drive-in-Freak-O-Meter...ya just gotta check this out!』

(A funky little B movie but entertaining)
『I saw this movie in 1987/8 when it was shown on the Canadian pay TV channel and I enjoyed it. It's not a deep or intellectual movie by any stretch of the imagination but it's very entertaining (in a Mad Max kind of way). The fact that most of the movie takes place in the very limited set of the drive-in gets a bit tiresome after a while but all in all it was worth watching.』

『Now this film is a bit on the odd ball side, it is funny, and I like it, I don't think it was Oscar worthy, but then I didn't think the Movie "Babe" ( the pig one ) was best Movie and it won, "Apollo 13" was much better for that yrs Oscar, but Hollywod didn't want Tom Hanks to have 3 in a row..politics...lol Anyway as I was saying it's a cute film but NOT for kids.....The "F" word is used a lot.』

『This movie turned out to be a sleeper! It started out slow and I wandered if I hadn't made a mistake. As the movie continued I started laughing and didn't stop till the end. The ending also touched my heart for the underdogs of this world. You didn't know whether to cry or laugh. This is why I purchased this movie. I own very few dvd's. Another good movie I highly recommend is "Secondhand Lions" with Robert Duvall and Michael Caine. This movie is also like "Little Miss Sunshine" in that it will make you laugh and cry.』

『Most families will enjoy this because most families aren't mental about making their young daughters look like street women for a beauty contest. I found this movie refreshing and I loved the family. Each member was developed exceptionally well. We see the typical family with it's highs and lows. The underbelly if you will of a realistic family and not some reality show which is more made up than the charaterizations in this movie. I recommend this if you enjoy melodramas. After all what is comedy without some drama? Good quality DVD with minimum extras. Decent replayability. If you enjoyed this catch "Best in Show" and "As Good as it Gets".

(Disfunction at its most mediocre)
『Wow, was this ever a lame movie! It's unbelievable to me that so many people liked it! How is it possible that so many people had a VW bus AND are willing to love a movie on the basis of the vehicle alone? In all honesty, the funniest part of the movie was when they got to CA and the door fell off of the van (and that only got maybe half of a smile).

Perhaps my family wasn't quite disfunctional enough for me to find this terribly amusing, because BOY, it sure wasn't!』

(Hilarious and heart-broken at the same time. Abigail Breslin's so cute, lovely, and innocently funny. It got 2 Oscars in 2007.)
『It contains good dark humour. It won't appeal to many people. Many scenes made me laugh and broke my heart at the same time. It's not suitable for children because of foul language, dirty jokes, and drug scenes.

**** SPOILER. DO NOT READ THIS if you HAVE NOT WATCHED the MOVIE.

For example, in the scene where the grandpa died in the hospital. The lady in charge of the corpse yelled at Greg Kinnear (the father) when he wanted to pospone the burial. She did not want to listen to his explanation why. It brillantly portraited how cruelly sometimes people treat each other. It moved me.

The next scene is hilarious when it showed the family trying to sneak the corpse into their car to continue their trip to California.

The most moving scene was when Abigail walked to her brother who was extremely depressed and sitting on the ground. She then sat down beside him, saying nothing, just leanning on him.

In the last scene, the director cleverly took aim at child-beauty-pageant industry. My stomach hurt when I saw kids from
5-7 years old in heavy makeup did their catwalk. Adults were exploiting kids for their profit and pleasure!

Abigail Breslin was the best actress here. She's so cute, lovely, and innocently funny. She's naturally beautiful without any makeup. Yes, her dance was meant for adults. But in my opinion, it's acceptable and funny. Why was it okay for adults to exploit kids but it's not okay for kids to dance like adults?

No wonder it got 2 Oscars in 2007. One was given to Michael Arndt for original screenplay. The other was given to Alan Arkin for best supporting actor.』

『Take a hilarious ride with the Hoovers, one of the most endearingly fractured families in comedy history.

Father Richard (Greg Kinnear) is desperately trying to sell his motivational success program...with no success. Meanwhile, "pro-honesty" mom Sheryl (Toni Collette) lends support to her eccentric family, including her depressed brother (Steve Carell), fresh out of the hospital after being jilted by his lover. Then there are the younger Hoovers?the seven-year-old, would-be beauty queen Olive (Abigail Breslin) and Dwayne (Paul Dano), a Nietzsche-reading teen who has taken a vow of silence. Topping off the family is the foul-mouthed grandfather (Alan Arkin), whose outrageous behavior recently got him evicted from his retirement home. When Olive is invited to compete in the "Little Miss Sunshine" pageant in far-off California, the family piles into their rusted-out VW bus to rally behind her?with riotously funny results.』
『Pile together a blue-ribbon cast, a screenplay high in quirkiness, and the Sundance stamp of approval, and you've got yourself a crossover indie hit. That formula worked forLittle Miss Sunshine, a frequently hilarious study of family dysfunction. Meet the Hoovers, an Albuquerque clan riddled with depression, hostility, and the tattered remnants of the American Dream; despite their flakiness, they manage to pile into a VW van for a weekend trek to L.A. in order to get moppet daughter Olive (Abigail Breslin) into the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant. Much of the pleasure of this journey comes from watching some skillful comic actors doing their thing: Greg Kinnear and Toni Collette as the parents (he's hoping to become a self-help authority), Alan Arkin as a grandfather all too willing to give uproariously inappropriate advice to a sullen teenage grandson (Paul Dano), and a subdued Steve Carell as a jilted gay professor on the verge of suicide. The film is a crowd-pleaser, and if anything is a little too eager to bend itself in the direction of quirk-loving Sundance audiences; it can feel forced. But the breezy momentum and the ingenious actors help push the material over any bumps in the road.--Robert Horton

(A Must Have)
『Very few movies appeal equally to kids and adults alike, but this movie is definitely in that very elite class. I have watched it numerous times with the kids, and it just keeps getting better. What else can I say? The writing and the actors are top notch, it's genuinely funny and heartwarming, the art is outstanding and it's got loveable monsters!』

(Great Moive)
『We bought this used and its in great shape and its a wonderful movie for the whole family!』

『The movie arrived on time and works great. I would make another purchase from this seller.』

(Fresh and Original)
『This was the most original Pixar film since Toy Story, in my opinion. Keep it up Pixar!』

(One of the best movies ever)
『I have watched this movie 100 times with my kids. We really, really enjoy this movie. One of our favorites! Mike, Sully, and Boo are some of the greatest characters ever. This movie is very easy to follow for young kids, and has just enough higher brow humor to entertain adults.
It is also a movie with a lot of love (even to different species who in the past were natural "enemies"), and a good lesson in tolerance for ALL our differences.
Great movie for every one to watch and enjoy!』

『Studio: Buena Vista Home Video Release Date: 05/16/2008 Run time: 93 minutes Rating: G』
『The folks at Pixar can do no wrong withMonsters, Inc., the studio's fourth feature film, which stretches the computer animation format in terms of both technical complexity and emotional impact. The giant, blue-furred James P. "Sulley" Sullivan (wonderfully voiced by John Goodman) is a scare-monster extraordinaire in the hidden world of Monstropolis, where the scaring of kids is an imperative in order to keep the entire city running. Beyond the competition to be the best at the business, Sullivan and his assistant, the one-eyed Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal), discover what happens when the real world interacts with theirs in the form of a 2-year-old baby girl dubbed "Boo," who accidentally sneaks into the monster world with Sulley one night. Director Pete Doctor and codirectors David Silverman and Lee Unkrich follow the Pixar (Toy Story) blueprint with an imaginative scenario, fun characters, and ace comic timing. By the last heart-tugging shot, kids may never look at monsters the same, nor artists at what computer animation can do in the hands of magicians.--Doug Thomas
