(The Polar Express)
『I bought this movie before on the HD-DVD after seeing it in the Theaters in 3-d and it was not the same experience at home not being in 3d and now it in Blu-ray 3d with the glasses and the 3d works great with brings the movie the experience for with in was intended for not 2d as the movie itself is a very good x-mas story to watch every x-mas with the wow factor to make it fresh.』

(Classic)
『What more can be said.... a classic for all the family... must have for any holiday collection』

(Great movie but horrible 3-D)
『The first time that I ever saw The Polar Express it was in the IMAX 3-D format and we found it absolutely enthralling. I eagerly purchased the DVD when it was released, and we still loved it even though it was not in 3-D. When I learned that it was being re-released on DVD in a 3-D version I automatically ordered a copy even though I already owned it on DVD. I was very disappointed. The 3-D technology on the home version is not nearly as compelling as the process used in the theatrical version. I don't know all of the ins and outs of theatrical 3-D effects, but I remember it being far superior than what I just started to watch tonight. I saved the glasses from the IMAX 3-D presentation of this film, and both lenses are a light grey tint, while the home 3-D version uses the old red&blue lens technology resulting in a blurry double image. If you already own this movie don't waste your money expecting a true 3-D experience- you won't get it here.』

(Movie is Fabulous, 3-D is HORRIBLE!!)
『Do not bother purchasing this in 3D version, the quality is horrible. We were so excited about the possibility of this movie being in 3D because we absolutely LOVE this movie. But the picture was just as bad with the glasses on as they are without the glasses. Just very poorly done and EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. . . But please purchase this in 2D version! The story is wonderful and it makes you feel like you're on this magical journey through christmas, mesmerizing and fantastical!』

(Sound A+ 3D F-------)
『A quick review don't get this for the 3D. After about 5 minutes I had to turn it off it was giving me a headache. This is the cheap red and blue glasses. I have a high end home theater with a 73 inch 1080p TV and it doesnt make it any better. Journey to the Center of the Earth has a purple and green lens and it is very good but this 3d is a waste of time, dont know why Warner even tried, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Soundwise in TrueHD this is why you get this. Crank it up it is so clear and quiet yet when the train takes off it rattles your seat but in a way that is loud but so clean. 2D looks great on bluray just dont get this for 3d you will be disapointed.』

『When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.』
『Destined to become a holiday perennial,The Polar Expressalso heralded a brave new world of all-digital filmmaking. Critics and audiences were divided between those who hailed it as an instant classic that captures the visual splendor and evocative innocence of Chris Van Allsburg's popular children's book, and those who felt that the innovative use of "performance capture"--to accurately translate live performances into all-digital characters--was an eerie and not-quite-lifelike distraction from the story's epic-scale North Pole adventure. In any case it's a benign, kind-hearted celebration of the yuletide spirit, especially for kids who have almost grown out of their need to believe in Santa Claus. Tom Hanks is the nominal "star" who performs five different computer-generated characters, but it's the visuals that steal this show, as director Robert Zemeckis indulges his tireless pursuit of technological innovation. No matter how you respond to the many wonders on display, it's clear that The Polar Express represents a significant milestone in the digital revolution of cinema. If it also fills you with the joy of Christmas (in spite of its Nuremberg-like rally of frantic elves), so much the better.--Jeff Shannon

(Paradise Review)
『This movie is not for minors. I found this movie okay. I would watch it again and recommend it. The poem the movie was based on was well acted out in the movie. I was not offended by the explicit love scenes.』

(Lost Paradise)
『Just how much would one be willing to sacrifice for the one you thought was your one true love? Now what if you were both already married??

This film explores a relationship between a man and a woman who embark on a journey to discover the extent of their passion and love for each other. Don't expect the Western style, passionately choreographed love scenes, you won't find them here - it is just not done like that in Japanese film. Instead, look deeper at the sensuality of the emotions the characters are expressing for each other.

Though this film may not quite fit into the reality of relationships in the Western world where it is relatively simple to just get divorced and move on, if you keep in mind the film is in the context of the Japanese culture, then you might discover some interesting cultural insights. The truth is that in Japan this type of relationship (except the sequence of events in the very end of the film) happens quite often and just isn't talked about. This certainly influenced the strength and level of interest when it originally was released in Japan.

This is an excellent film - sensual, erotic, with the added element of revealing some of the Japanese cultural aspects of this type of relationship.』

(Beautiful film, but this edition...)
『This film is beautiful, delicate, romantic, trully sensitive. But this edition only have one chapter!!! The whole film in only one chapter! A star the less for that. But, this film is wonderful.』

(Unrealized Potential)
『Given the popularity of this film in Japan a few years ago, I was expecting something more. In many ways, the plot is derivative of "In the Realm of the Senses". While I have very mixed feelings about "In the Realm of the Senses", it had much more emotional (some of it negative, but nonetheless meaningful) impact than "Lost Paradise." "Lost Paradise" suffers from an abundance of mediocre love scenes (when a few genuinely moving ones would be better), a predictable ending, and a huge lack of character development. While the situation presented is a bit controversial due to the nature of Japanese marital laws, the film's failure is its inability to make the audience understand, or care about, the motives of the characters on anything more than a surface level. By the end of the movie, our protagonists are little more than cardboard cutouts going through their predestined motions.』

(Japanese controversy at its best)
『Lost Paradise is a phenomenal movie. The basic premis of this movie is that a Japanese business man who is married falls in love with a housewife of a prominent professor. They begin an affair that proves to be both erotic and with dire consequences. Starring in this movie is the lovely Hitomi Kuroki. She does a wonderful job acting as well as being just stunning on screen.

This movie was not without out its controversy when it was released in Japan. It is legal for a male to have an affair, but it still remains illegal for a woman to do so. Hence....controversy.

A modern day Japanese version of Romeo and Juliet. It is not to be missed.』

(George Lucas sells out in a galaxy far, far away (but, this time, in a less aggravating way)...)
『Three and a half stars for this one.

- 1st battle droid (during a heavy skirmish): "Concentrate fire on sector 11374265!"
- 2nd battle droid: "One, one, three... seven... What was that again?"

For a bit now, I've nursed a mad-on at George Lucas and his bungling of the Star Wars universe. But, in retrospect and after some years removed, the Star Wars prequel trilogy doesn't quite seem as awful as I thought (although Jar Jar Binks - grrrr!). Star Wars - Episode III, Revenge of the Sith (Widescreen Edition) went a long way to atoning for some of the sabotage done. Anyway, given that Lucas had already jumped the shark in a galaxy far, far away, I still wanted to approach STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS with a less prejudiced perspective, and this mindset pays off. Thanks to my super power of compartmentalizing, I actually had a good time watching this animated feature.

Chronologically, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS takes place between Star Wars - Episode II, Attack of the Clones (Widescreen Edition) and EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH. It also sets the stage for the new STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS animated television series on the Cartoon Network. As the movie opens, the Republic is at war with the Separatists. Even as Obi-Wan Kenobi is charged with negotiating a safe passage treaty with the galactic crime lord, Jabba the Hutt, who controls the Outer Rim shipping routes, Anakin Skywalker and his new, enthusiastic Padawan learner, Ahsoka Tano, go on a mission to rescue Jabba's abducted baby. Of course, this is exactly what the traitorous Count Dooku is counting on.

The vast leaps in moviemaking f/x seem to have an adverse effect in Lucas's storytelling ability. As one improves, the other degenerates. There's no escaping that THE CLONE WARS is strictly vanilla. It takes on the sensibilities of those old matinee serial movies, meaning that it's mostly a series of non-stop action sequences stretching out a bare bones plot. Basically, it's platoon after platoon of battle droids getting smashed, with the film occasionally breaking away to feature lightsaber throwdowns. Obviously pandering more towards younglings, it's no surprise that the movie feels shallow and that character development is quickly defenestrated. And, although the film serves to fill in some gaps during the Clone Wars, nothing really significant crops up to contribute to the Star Wars mythos. Not to mention, John Williams' classic theme score is woefully neglected. But, okay, for what it is, the film is nicely done and it succeeds on its objective, which is to draw in an audience for the then upcoming television cartoon series. For older Star Wars geeks, THE CLONE WARS is something to watch with the brain on park. I cringed a bit, though, during the opening moments, when that newsy voice-over goes into its monologue, ala STARSHIP TROOPERS.

Huge chunks of screen time are given to Anakin and his spirited 14-year-old apprentice. They make a hotheaded duo, and their constant, infantile bickerings serve to undermine the film, but, again, the kids will probably beg to differ. I shudder each time Ahsoka refers to Anakin as "Sky Guy" (he calls her "Snips"), although that's just another element of their older brother/younger sister dynamics.

Although many relevant characters from the live action films appear, it's disconcerting that so few of the original actors lend their voices to this film. In Hayden Christensen's case, this is probably a good thing, as less of him equates to fewer apoplexies suffered by the viewers. Samuel J. Jackson, Christopher Lee and Anthony Daniels do show up, and their voices are invaluable. The CG animation here is angular and stylized. In its look, it veers away from the animation style of the 2003 CLONE WARS television micro-series (see Star Wars - Clone Wars, Vol. 1). In a way, it more resembles the marionette style of those 1960s Thunderbirds shows, although, thankfully, the animation here is much, much more fluid. It's no Pixar material, but I kinda dug it.

Boil it down? STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS offers a subpar story but sort of makes up for it with pretty cool battle sequences and decent animation. I even grew fond of Ahsoka Tano, who, in her eagerness and recklessness, is much like Anakin when he was younger. Probably why they end up getting along. As usual, there's that blend of panoramic space opera and Jedi mysticism. Death rays and magic swords. And the battle robots get the funniest lines.

But what happens to Ahsoka Tano that we don't see her in REVENGE OF THE SITH? Or did I miss something?』

(Dear George Lucas)
『STOP SCREWING WITH THIS FRANCHISE, I BEG YOU. Episodes 4 - 6 practically re-invented the sci-fi genre, but then Episodes 1 - 3 took a serious downturn, due in no small part to the mis-casting of Hayden Christensen and also the violation of what you had set up in 4 - 6. George, what was the point of this film? Where in the timeline of the series does this movie fall? Why didn't we see Anakin's padawan in any of the live-action films? Why have plot and character been sacrificed at the altar of the aciton sequence? Granted, this is an animated movie, which usually means a kid's movie, and with their short attention spans, things have to be kept moving, but understand their parents are the same people who saw Episdoes 4 - 6 when they were kids themselves and are ruining it for them. You are ruining this once-great franchise, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP SCREWING WITH IT!!! Thank you.

PS: May the Force be with you again, because you've certainly lost it.』

(Star Wars: The Clone Wars)
『Most fans of the Star Wars movies will enjoy this animated filler that gives us some background information about what happened between Star Wars Episode II and III. The graphics won't impress you to the point you say, wow that's good, but they are decent enough that you shouldn't mind watching them. The storyline is also good enough to hold the interest of most people that liked the movies. Worth at least a rental. Good quality DVD with some replayability. If you enjoyed this catch "The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury".

CA Luster』

(Cartoon Network show is excellent)
『Let me first start out by saying I am a 100% Star Wars fanboy. I own zero movies on DVD/Blu-Ray except for anything Star Wars.

That being said, I thought that it was a good idea for Lucasfilm animation to release a movie to promote/kick-off the Cartoon Network series. This movie, however, was not their best effort. I usually think everything that comes out of the Lucas camp is gold, but this one was way below average. A big miss people
Like other reviewers have stated, the story was very poor. I mean all the great writers from the expanded universe books and this is the best they can do? I love the prequel era books. I have read too may to count. Almost all of them are just fantastic. They have great characters unlike Asoka. I want her gone now. The "Skyguy" nickname made me cringe. It was the worst.

Enough about the bad, let's talk about the good. I have watched every episode of the Cartoon Network show on TV and it is just great. Why didn't they make the storyline for the movie like the series? They have the feel of Star Wars and I can't wait till they are released on Blu-Ray. Great job Lucasfilm animation on the network series. They are phenomenal. Now just collect all the remaining copies of the Clone Wars animated movie and bury them in the desert ala "E.T." the game.
May we never speak of this again.』

(Back to the Future)
『The August 2008 release is set between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It is a stand-alone story and - crucially - was designed as an introduction to a weekly animated TV series of the same name.

The animation-style has the look of Japanese anime and manga, while giving a nod to the supermarionation of the classic British 1960s series, Thunderbirds. The fight scenes are visually stunning in this presentation, though the dialogue to push the story forward often suffers from being quite stilted.

What makes for a successful TV series does not necessarily translate to the large screen (the reverse is also true). While obviously aimed at younger audiences and as a marketing tool, it does not set the foundation to propel this Star Wars universe concept into a remarkable movie franchise.』

(Gestapo in time and space)
『This documentary is that : a documentary, so you should expect a lot of pre-war and war news reels and you do get them. One hour of them, actually. There is an acceptable commentary running the whole length of the film that tries to explain the who's who of the Gestapo. You will see many of the news reel that you have seen elsewhere, assuming you have at least a modicum of interest for that era.

The disturbing element is always the same: the gradual disappearance of any deference to the rule of law. It ends up with not even a lip service to due process. No need to even rig a trial, it would be a waste of time and the Fuhrer does not like to waste time. The turning point is probably the Rohm purge: kill first then legalize the killing the day after.

The commentator does make an effort to show the how and when of this progression but the limited time available (1 hour) put this goal a bit out of reach.

Commendably, the movie does a good overview of the Gestapo at work in most occupied territories, something I had not seen before.

The movie is also an excellent memory exerciser that will give a fresh layer on many fading memories of those archetypal villains. Yet, we see them usually beaming and the horrifying acts they committed are rarely documented with news reels, apart from very late shots on the concentration camps made by Allied reporters.

Still, it is worth to be seen.

(Put It On A Pedestal...)
『If you want a comedy, a real comedy that deals with a lot of the questions many face in their daily lives, than this is a movie for you!

First of all, the entire cast is superb. Every character in this movie plays off of every other character so well, at times you may forget that you're watching a movie and feel like you're actively THERE with these guys! Second, the movie itself has a great message in the undertone; and that is that everyone is different and should live their life, with THEIR own goals and dreams.

This movie also has some of the best one-liners to come out in a long time, and led by the master of improv comedy in Steve Carell, with great supporting cast members; this movie will have you laughing out loud the entire time!

Classic movie, I watch it everyitme it's on tv even though I own the DVD becuase its just...that...funny!!! Put it on a pedestal, you won't regret it!』

(Redefines Modern Comedy Movies)
『"The 40-Year-Old Virgin" pretty much changed the comedy scene, in my mind. It's changing how these kinds of movies are made, and it also added so many new players to the game. Not only did it put Steve Carell on the map, it also introduced the world to Seth Rogan, popularized Paul Rudd, and showed that Judd Apatow isn't just a great TV writer, he's also a great film producer. He's the head of comedy's most successful band of actors and writers, and rarely stumbles. And this is the movie that started Apatow's winning streak that spawned movies such as Knocked Up, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Pineapple Express.

Aside from what it started, this is a great film. It's obviously a labor of love, and you don't need the expansive extras to see how much went into the making of it. Not only was there a great shooting script, but Apatow also encouraged all of the actors to improv, which produced great scenes such as the entire "You know how I know you're gay?" bit. The actors were all at the top of their games, delivering funny and--in Carell's case, anyway--nuanced performances. The story is as poignant as it is hilarious, and trust me, it's funny as hell. It's every bit as good as the best of Apatow's more recent work, which is saying quite a lot.

For vulgar, clever, emotional, well-written films, there's no better place to look but in Apatow's direction. And "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" delivers in every way.

9/10』

(Funny)
『The 40-Year-Old Virgin is one of those independent films that comes along, every so often, and becomes a hit. A few years ago it was My Big Fat Greek Wedding that was a surprise hit, and a few years before that it was The Blair Witch Project. This film is superior to both of those earlier films, and has more in common with another sleeper film that predated both of those films, 1998's Office Space, which was one of the first films to flop theatrically, yet become a big hit on the then-new DVD format. The 40-Year-Old Virgin shares a similar sensibility toward the dullness of the work environment (this time a Circuit City/Best Buy like electronics store vs. a computer programming company, but its satire of the workplace is dead on.
The difference between The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Office Space, however, is that the bulk of the newer film focuses on the personal lives of its lead character and his co-workers David (Paul Rudd)- who's stalking his ex-girlfriend, Jay (Romany Malco)- a black, bald Lothario, and Cal (Seth Rogen)- an ugly, bearded wannabe novelist, who make it their mission to get him laid at any cost. Andy Stitzer (Steve Carell, of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and the NBC tv show The Office) is a collector of `action figures' from the 1970s and 1980s (such as The Six Million Dollar Man's boss, Oscar Goldman), avid Survivor watcher, along with an old black neighbor, has a framed Asia rock poster, a ton of video games, and has somehow never managed to get laid in his four decades, although he's come close. Any male who has pined for females that he never got to be with will be able to relate to Andy's dilemma- if not to the extent of Andy's angst, certainly the gist of it. His co-worker's advice ranges from the bad to the ridiculous, as each of them could easily be termed loser, as well. He agrees to go out with his pals, and ends up being puked on by a gorgeous, but drunken blond named Nicky (Leslie Mann), who nearly gets them both killed with her driving. He then hits on Beth (Elizabeth Banks), a sexpot at the local bookstore, and succeeds in getting her interested. That's when he meets a sexy and kind divorced grandmother named Trish (Catherine Keener), who runs an EBay store at the same mall where Andy's store is.... It's a chick flick for guys, in a sense, yet better for it. Watch this film at least once every year or two, and it'll never get old, for there always have been and always will be Andy Stitzers. That's a damned good thing!

(40 Year Old Virgin)
『Such a cute movie&very funny. A great story about (as another reviewer says) guys that care about each other. Beware for children that there is nudity, lots of 'dirty words' and adult situations. But it's all there to build the plot and characters. I love this movie and it's happy ending!』
『Andy Stitzer's friends make it their mission to help him finally lose his virginity at forty.

『Cult comic actor Steve Carell--long adored for his supporting work onThe Daily Showand in movies likeBruce AlmightyandAnchorman--leaps into leading man status withThe 40 Year-Old Virgin. There's no point describing the plot; it's about how a 40 year-old virgin named Andy (Carell) finally finds true love and gets laid. Along the way, there are very funny scenes involving being coached by his friends, speed dating, being propositioned by his female manager, and getting his chest waxed. Carell finds both humor and humanity in Andy, and the supporting cast includes some standout comic work from Paul Rudd (Clueless,The Shape of Things) and Jane Lynch (Best in Show,A Mighty Wind), as well as an unusually straight performance from Catherine Keener (Lovely&Amazing,Being John Malkovich). And yet... something about the movie misses the mark. It skirts around the topic of male sexual anxiety, mining it for easy jokes, but never really digs into anything that would make the men in the audience actually squirm--and it's a lot less funny as a result. Nonetheless, there are many great bits, and Carell deserves the chance to shine.--Bret Fetzer

Despite these things, the show still retained its family values, and appeal. The season begins with World War II raging, John-Boy is missing in action, Jason is in charge of recruits, and Olivia struggles to keep up with her changing family. Erin, Elizabeth, and Mary Ellen do their best to help in the war effort, and Ben and Cindy have their first baby.

While it is true that by this point in the show, some of the quality was degrading. But, for a true fan, this season is a Godsend.』

『I watch the Walton's almost every morning and have seen all the shows numerous times...but still I need to have these DVD series just in case they should ever go off tv. I think they are one of the best family value shows that were ever on tv.』

(ALMOST perfect)
『I try to work out every day, so the pace of this one is a little less intimidating than my regular TaeBo workouts. This is my favorite TaeBo so far! It kept me sweating, heartrate up, through most of the workout. You can maximize your results at different levels of experience by really tightening your muscles, or have a lazy day and just get through it. My only issue (and it's a pretty small one) is the religious factor. I know a lot of people love that about this dvd, but I would love to know if there's another TaeBo workout that's similar but secular. As it stands, I'm fairly willing to continue ignoring the shouts out to Jesus and skipping the ending prayer session.』

(Excellent)
『First time to try Tae Bo. It was not so hard to follow, 2nd time got better. I was sweating after 10 or 15 min. It is a fun and effective exercise. I am enjoying it.』

『This is a great workout for those beginning Taebo. Billy talks alot about drawing on your faith for strength. The workout is not as tough as some other Taebo tapes, but I still worked up a great sweat!!』

(A Strong Performance by Cheadle Doesn't Save It)
『"Traitor," is a crime/drama/thriller starring the talented, Oscar-nominated Don Cheadle, in the title role as "the traitor," former United States Special Operations Officer Samir Horn, of Chicago. The production moves around a lot, to Washington D.C., Chicago, of course, France, but most of the action is concentrated in the Middle East.

The picture is based on a story by comic actor Steve Martin; the script was written by, and directed by, Jeffrey Nachmanoff. I don't think I can be accused of giving the plot away if I say it concerns the undercover doings of Cheadle's character, Horn. Guy Pearce plays Roy Clayton, and Jeff Daniels, Carter, intelligence figures with whom Horn apparently interacts. Cheadle does strong work, and seems to be particularly good at suffering in silence.

But, you know, "The Spy Who Came in From The Cold," an epochal film based upon British spymaster John LeCarre's novel of the same name, starring the great Welsh actor Richard Burton as cold war spy Alec Leamas, and directed by Martin Ritt, came out in 1965. LeCarre, had, of course, actually been a British spy, in the field, and was familiar with the secrets and craft of the trade. The film, as the novel upon which it was based, explained all about how Leamas had to go to jail in order to go back into the active spy business undercover. Now we have "Traitor." Steve Martin knows no equal as a comic actor, but I doubt he knows much first-hand about the spy business. I know nothing whatever about Nachmanoff, but somehow I doubt he is grounded in the spy business. And sorry folks, but "Traitor" plays like a blurred 15th generation copy of "The Spy." Is it too much to ask that, somewhere in the making of a spy picture, there should be someone who actually knows something about the subject matter?

(This is a pretty good movie)
『Don Cheadle did an intense character study for this part-- a la Forrest Whitaker-- and it shows.

No movie can be 100% plausible, and this one was no exception. But one thing that they showed us are facets of terrorism that we could interpret as explaining things that actually exist in reality-- and consistent with what we expect. Among them:

1. While terrorism is a heavily Arab dominated enterprise, trouble spots could come from any type of people. The people that were recruited into sleeper cells were not Arabs.

2. The movie beautifully illustrated the REASONING that many of the terrorists used. These people blend in with the mainstream population very convincingly.

3. There was attention to detail in presenting the plots to the viewer.

On the bad side:

1. It would not have taken much more effort for the director to give us a bit more detail about the non-Arabs that were recruited as sleeper agents. What other type of motives might people who go into sleeper cells have?

2. The amount of fortuitous events that would have been necessary for Cheadle's character to become positioned in the terror cell in the way that he was stretched the limits of imagination.

3. It is hard to believe that any Muslim would go against other Muslims *just* because they disagreed about whether killing infidels was a betrayal of Islam. And this is exactly what Cheadle was doing-- and it was not easy to imagine.』

(Traitor)
『Samir Horn (Cheadle) is supplying detonators to an Islamic terrorist group when a FBI raid kills or captures everyone at the compound. FBI agents Roy Clayton (Pearce) and Max Archer (McDonough) take the survivors into custody. While in prison, Samir and the terrorist leader Omar (Taghmaoui) form a bond, and when Omar makes his escape, he takes Samir with him. Now, Samir is an inside man who can stop an major attack on U. S. soil. He is so deep undercover that only one person, Carter (Daniels) knows about him. Now, he must find a way to stop the attack and get out before it is too late.

"Traitor" is a top notch drama with some action sprinkled in. Don Cheadle is excellent as always as the conflicted Muslim who can stop a massacre. The story is timely and intelligent. A focus of the movie is the difference between fundamentalist Islam and the non-violent Islam. Cheadle's Samir is of the non-violent type, and as violence becomes necessary, it is interesting to see his character deal with things. The supporting cast is also well-cast, playing characters that are more grey than black or white. I highly recommend "Traitor" and encourage checking it out.

(Why Am I Watching This?)
『I couldn't remember what the movie was about, but I knew I wanted to see it because Don Cheadle was in it, and I recall seeing the preview for it a month or so ago. But the first hour of the movie had me struggling. All I kept thinking was, "Why did I pay my good money to see this terrible movie? I don't WANT to root for terrorists and I don't want to root for suicide bombers and why did Cheadle try out for this movie?" I'm not the type to wave an American flag or walk around preaching about patriotism, but the first hour was so uncomfortable to me watching terrorists plan to kill innocent people justifying it with an eye-for-an-eye and religion. But then the hump over that hour came in, and I started smiling. Suddenly I remembered why Cheadle is a genius, why this movie was going the way it did, and I can't say anymore about it besides: be patient, listen closely, and I loved this movie. Bravo!

Cons: There was a scene where Cheadle had a tattoo on his right shoulder, and I was squinting at the screen to see it, but in the next scene, he didn't have it. I don't know if the make-up crew decided it needed to be hidden or was nobody supposed to see that or what, but the tattoo came up missing for some odd reason, and I'm not quite sure why.』
