(It's Okay But Doesn't Get ALL the Hairs)
『I bought this item a little over a week ago, and when I first opened it, I couldn't even get the darn thing to work, they say to wash it under hot water or in alcohol before use, so I did exactly that. And the trimmer would not rotate back and forth... It took letting it DRY first for the trimmer to begin working. When it did work, it only got the big hairs but noticed alot of other hairs where still left in my nose... Overall not too great of a product.... I thought it would be better considering all the reviews』

『The Platinum XL is a surprisingly easy to use nose hair trimmer that doesn't have all of those "bells and whistles" of other battery or electric models that don't seem to offer much use anyway. This trimmer does a very good job of what it is supposed to do.
The rotary blades are very sharp and the way this thing is designed even if I wanted to I don't think that I could ever cut the skin in my nose no matter how hard I try.
The big difference between the Platinum XL and one of the Panasonics that I liked until it died on me is that the Panasonic doesn't really have a blade but rather a whirring, rotating thin foil cylinder and when the batteries start to fade the trimmer starts pulling out hairs instead of actually cutting them. The blades on the Platinum are actual round stainless steel blades and you get to control just how quickly you turn them and therefore you don't get pulled hairs.

This trimmer is meant to last a lifetime and backed up by a lifetime warranty. I was impressed with the company's service and speedy delivery and so far I am very happy with this trimmer.』

(You Need Your Advance, Your Advance Needs Its Brush Heads)
『The bottom line: if your toothbrush is a Sonicare Advance, you are going to need replacement brush heads and that's reality. Both of my kids are using Advance and they should be replaced at lest every six months.

Like most of anything that's a Sonicare brand (there are exceptions) these are good quality products that last for the six months of twice-a-day daily use, as advertised. After that, you will need new brushes and Amazon has them while most other stores don't.

『I was sick of buying cheaper dryers and having them break after a year, so I decided to spend more on something professional. This hair dryer is quieter than any other I've used and dries my hair in half the time! It is definitely worth the money.』

『When my Elchim dryer finally died after something like six years of daily service, I researched what to get. Pretty much every beauty magazine and website was touting the benefits of the new generation of nano tourmaline ionic dryers, which were supposed to dry your hair more quickly and with less damage than dryers like my old Elchim.

Don't believe it.

I've tried two of the new-fangled dryers since then. It took my super fine hair forever to dry with them whereas this dryer dries my hair in one-tenth of the time. Literally. And my hair comes out much smoother. I have a ceramic flat iron that I used to use for special occasions. With those nano tourmaline dryers I was using my flat iron every day. When I dry my hair with my Elchim, I don't need to iron it, maybe because my hair dries so quickly, it doesn't have time to frizz, wave or otherwise go crazy.

And finally there's the noise factor. You might be fooled into thinking this dryer isn't very powerful because it's so relatively quiet. My ionic tourmaline dryers sounded like a 747 revving up and one of them vibrated like crazy. This one feels very low key, and yet it actually dries my hair really quickly and makes my hair feel soft. All that flat ironing was damaging it.

I am so happy to have another Elchim I'm kicking myself for having waited this long to get another one. It's worth every penny. As for whether this one will last six years, only time will tell, but I'm betting it will last longer than my first nano tourmaline dryer, which conked out after about half a year.』

『Just like everyone else that's already mentioned, this is the best night guard I've ever used. The kit I got had a regular-sized and a small-sized one. The regular-sized (and just like every other one in the drugstore or supermarket) was too big, but the small-sized one was perfect! I messed up on the first one while I was trying to mold it (I guess the water got too hot, so the whole thing just melted into a big ball),so I contacted Customer Service at Dental Hygiene Preferred Inc. and described my situation. Without even asking for a picture of my plastic "ball", Erin offered to send me a replacement, product AND shipping free-of-charge! She even let me choose what color I wanted (Color really doesn't matter. The point is, not only did she send me a replacement, she let me choose exactly what I wanted). Learning from my first mistake, I boiled the water first, poured it into a small cup, and left the original guard in for 25 seconds, took it out, got rid of the excess water, and molded it. It's perfect! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable night guard that works well! Don't hesitate to contact CS if you have any questions!』
