『My daughter bought this with some of her own money that she got for her birthday. It was great for about one week, and then the sides just split apart at the seams! When someone sets this up, it is also very important to water the grass underneath, since the grass will get totally burned even when it gets moved immediately after use. Don't expect to get the use of an entire season out of this!』

(Fun, but does best on a flat surface)

『My daughter got this for her birthday. Our yard is not completely level, but it is not very hilly either. We never could get it to work like in the pictures. It is still fun if you just run the hose down the middle. If the surface is not completely flat. the water pools to one side, and the board does not slide well. Overall, the kids still had fun. It was just not much better than a slip -n- slide for about 3 times the price.』

(Great, Unique, Fun Product!)

『Saw this on TV and it looked interesting but I was hesitant to buy due to some of the negative reviews here. The price was good so we gave it a chance and are so glad we did! It's a lot longer than a slip-n-slide and more interesting. Riding the board is a challenge, but a fun one, and it's really fast and active. Some hints to offer--yes, you do have to have a very flat surface, but the instructions indicate that the slide needs to be filled with 2 and a half inches of water before use. If you wait for the little sprayers to do this, it would take forever and it may look like you only get little unconnected puddles. We treated it like it was a long thin swimming pool, and just used the garden hose to fill it up before turning on the sprayers. When it is full, it evens out the surface so the whole area is covered with water. And as for people saying it's hard to empty--my kids have fun sliding their feet along the borders to squish out the water and have contests to see how fast they can do it--maybe 10 minutes total clean-up. Also, to minimize yellowing the grass underneath, wet the grass with a hose before laying down the plastic, so it doesn't crush as much, and then be sure to get it off the grass as soon as you are done. We love the Skimboard Surfer and it works great--they play with it for a solid hour each time. (do be aware of the 5 feet tall, 100 pound limit for using the board--probably because the bigger you are, the harder you fall, and you can take some hard wipeouts off the board when it slides out from under you). My older son still uses it like a regular slip-n-slide and has fun.』

『I have used these bath tablets with both my two granddaughters and my two nephews. I started when they were aged 2 and 6. They'd choose one color and we'd stand beside the tub and watch them fizz and melt. At first they used one color, then I asked them what would happen if they put a second color in there. Then we had green, orange, or purple. When they put in all three colors, we had an ugly gray. In this way, I taught them colors on the color wheel. A year later, my 3 year old was painting a canvas for my living room. She was using the red paint and I told her she needed more purple (I meant somewhere on the canvas). She promptly picked up some blue paint and painted a line over the red paint she had just used. AT AGE 3. So, These tablets are fun and educational! All four kids know the colors on the color wheel now.

And they still have fun using colored bathwater....My oldest is now 10.

『We have a hard time getting my son to take a bath, due to the fact that he realizes that bath=bedtime. But these tablets make bathtime fun, and when we ask him what color he wants his bath to be, he runs into the bathroom and is all ready to jump in! These tablets dissolve in the water (even watching the dissolving is mesmerizing to him!) and change the color of the bath water. I think they even make a submarine and other toys that you can put the tablets in and watch the colors move around the bath. You should not use these with younger children because they take a while to dissolve, and a younger child might pick them up and put it in their mouth because they look a little like candy. My son is 2, and completely gets what it's for, and hasn't tried to eat it. I highly recommend these for stubborn bathers!』
