For paper it's a nice alternative to crayons, producing something between a crayon and an oil pastel (without the messiness of an oil pastel, something we parents of 2 year olds worry about). Just be aware that if you use it on a chalkboard, it will not erase. If FUN is your only aim, you would probably be happy. In fact, she's bugging me for it again this year (Not happening)
Saying that, I have to tell you that the pink took MONTHS to wash completely out - she had a champagne pink tint for the longest time! She thought this was cool and I didn't really mind (maybe she got out her teenage rebel angst early) IF YOU CARE ABOUT PERMANENTLY PINK HAIR, DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.
I agree with other reviewers that there wasn't much product, it was hard to put in and the application tool was so cheaply producted as to be unusable - I ended up combing the product on in sections and tossing the applicator completely. Hooray for 'made in China'! (not)
BTW - Google Spin Master (producer of this) and see how much other worthless plastic junk they make, and the recalls they've experienced.』
