He didn't like it until now (he's 11 months old) because he can walk really well now and doesn't need to hold onto anything for support. If your child isn't walking well, they will fall over backward thinking the handle will support them. Once the child is walking well enough on their own, it's a pretty nice toy. My son just now discovered the lever and key and likes to play with those and he likes to flip the whole thing over and look underneath...it's very light and easy to maneuver. Overall an okay toy.』

This product did come with a patch kit so I assume that this is very common. I did not expect it to deflate or spring a leak before my son could even play with it. The structure is so big that it is very difficult to locate an air leak. The leak was so small that I could not find it. I just took it down. Waste of money if you want a well crafted and non problematic experience.』

I guess maybe thats what you should do... now he is 20 months and has no intrest in it at all... the controller is very durrible as my son has tossed it around his room... I wish they had Elmo in their disc's though... I should have gotten the v-smile for baby.. It is just frustrating when you spend the time and money and it doesnt seem to get you any where but a head ache... for parents, when your child does not push the right button or push it at all the voice will keep saying "push a button" again and again... quite annoying!!』

Lastly, most frustrating, is how slow it is. My 20month old gets excited to see his game put on... and is then bored 3-4 minutes into the game (and he can pay good attention to other videos or games). There is just too long a delay between "push a button" and the DVD then churning to the result. Overall, the games aren't impressive and don't provide anymore learning than we give him when reading him his books. Maybe if we had gotten it when he was 9 months it would have been more appropriate.
