(Adorable 1st Pony)
『I purchased this as sort of an afterthought, for my daughter's 3rd birthday, not really expecting too much from it. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much she enjoyed playing with her newest friend, it has even found a special spot next to her at night.

It has only been a few weeks since she has had it and I've had to wash and rewash 'Pony-Poo' (her chosen name for Pinky Pie) several times. I am very pleased that this is machine washable, can't tell you how much time I have spent scrubbing the unknown off the stuffed critters that you can't just toss in the wash.

This pony is made of a nice warm sweater-like material, sort of handmade feel to it&seems to be holding together wonderfully even after being drug around by a very active child for the past few weeks. There are adorable applique like patches, embroideries as well as lovely soft ribbons that accompany twisted/braided hair for the mane and tail. I thought this might be a disappointment, that the hair can't be brushed but my daughter really doesn't miss that aspect at all, she has a great time twisting them together to make new patterns in the 'braids'. All in all, I would recommend purchasing this for any pony-lovin' wee one.』

『I purchased both styles so both of my daughters would have their own pony. Both Cherilee and this one (Pinkie Pie) remind me of older, yarn made plushes. Their bodies are soft and durable, easy to wipe off with a yarn like feel. The legs have little patches and gives it that "homemade with love" look as well. Since My Little Ponies are not that cuddly for bedtime (being plastic and all) this is the perfect companion for nighttime snuggles. My daughters love them and swap the two ponies between them frequently. A good buy for pony lovers.』

OVERALL IT IS CUTE. MY DAUGHTER LIKES IT ALOT. I ONLY GAVE IT FOUR STARS, BECAUSE OF DURABILITY. THIS IS THE 3RD PLAYHUT MY KIDS HAVE HAD. 『I have two boys who enjoy this castle. My youngest got it around age two and a half as a present for doing a job well. I think he was a bit too young for it at the time but his four year old brother loves it too. We've had it for about a year now and my youngest is three and a half now. He has grown into the toy and enjoys it now. Both boys play with it regularly and my older boy is almost five now. It's durable and well worth the money.』

『My three year old son LOVES playing with this castle. He uses all sorts of figurines with it--dinosaurs, superheroes, soldiers, etc... It's a great way to nuture imaginative and pretend play. It's very durable, with lots of nooks and crannies for him to explore. He's had this toy for over three months, and still plays with it constantly. Great toy!』

『My 2.5 y/o boy loves all things knights, so I searched for a long time to find a play castle he'd like. I really liked the Playmobil products, but there were waaaaaaay too many tiny pieces that he couldn't manipulate and of course there's always the risk of a choking hazard. I liked the wooden castles but was leary of their durability and they just seemed so plain.

After reading many reviews I chose this castle and am so glad we did! It's very sturdy and has provided hours of fun for my child. I like that it encourages open play and doesn't require batteries or make annoying sounds. The knights aren't "scary", but they're more advanced looking than the happy Little People which IMO doesn't have the same creative play potential because it has fewer play options, i.e. no cannon, flags, secret passages, etc.

It folds up nice and neat and you can toss all the pieces inside if you want--minimal mess, which is great for a toy w/ the potential for a lot of small parts.

On that note, I got this for an older toddler that I knew was past the mouthing stage. There are several small pieces--helmets, swords, flags, the cannon ammo--that would worry me if he was still putting things in his mouth.

That said, I'd def recommend this product for older toddlers and up!』

『Well, it was exactly what I was looking for! And exactly what I expected after reading the product description. My son enjoyed watching real life construction and learning what goes on. A little bit of familiar Bob and friends thrown in makes it very kid friendly and extra fun. No, this is not a Bob the Builder episode. If a regular episode is what you are looking for, do not get the "On Site" dvd's.』
