That said, I do think the beginning of the movie is a bit off. Mr. Brosnan sounds a bit monotone, but he seems to pick up the pace and after a while you get caught up in the story about the great discovery (finding the town of Waterton). They introduce a new engine named Stanley (so you can add that train to your growing collection) that my son has not stopped talking about since he saw the movie. Also, the Thomas Theme song at the end is updated and is pretty catchy. A good buy for any Thomas fan. 』
(Great Thomas Movie!) 『This is a great movie! Pierce Brosnon is an excellent narrator as well - you can tell he has read these to his children! It is a very good story line about the old town of great waterton, and such great and amazing perils that Thomas goes through. Very exciting and fun.』
(Thomas and Friends Great Discovery is Great!!!!) 『My daughter is six years old. She is a giant Thomas fan. This movie is the greatest. We both loved it. We also love the music cd that came with the dvd. It is so neat. My daughter listens to the music while playing with her trains. We are very, very pleased with this product.
LanieandTaylor』
(Wow! Great one!) 『Definitely a must have for thomas the tank engine collection, Pierce Bronson does a superb narration, the stories and the direction was great, and the music was AWESOME! Whoever is singing the song at the end of the dvd has completely changed the familiar thomas the train song and gave it a catchy hip-hop tune which fits perfectly with the musical genre of today. Must buy it, you won't be disappointed. (^o^)』
(This movie is WONDERFUL!) 『I was reluctant to buy another Thomas movie for fear that my 4 year old will make me watch it over, and over, and over...but I'm glad we got this! It's a great movie and I just LOVE the song at the end! Pierce Brosnan does a great job with all the voices. I'm VERY glad we got this and look forward to watching it again and again...(which I'm sure I'll have to!!)』 『Thomas the Tank Engine stars in an all-new movie guest starring Pierce Brosnan as the narrator! Sodor Day is coming and all the engines are busy preparing. When Thomas gets lost in the mountains, he discovers the old town of Great Waterton! Soon the whole island is buzzing with the news of Thomas' discovery and restoring the town in time for the big day. Join the fun and meet a new engine friend named Stanley!』

In stock soon. Order now to get in line. First come, first served. IPhone 3G used's review (It's Ok) 『Don't know what all the fuss is about. It works well, and my daughters (ages 2 and 4) like it well enough, but they're not gaga over it. They would probably enjoy something that looked more like Mommy's, but the only ones I found were rated low for durability and I wasn't willing to take that chance. I rated it low for educational value, but really, who cares? Isn't a toy allowed to just be fun anymore??』
(Durable but sassy!) 『We received this toy as a gift for Christmas from my in-laws and then the neighbors, whose kids are a few years older than mine, gave us their's. So we have two. And they have both withstood the test of time very well.
Both my son and my daughter love "vacuuming" along with the nanny. It occupies them, and, despite the caricature face, funny remarks and lack of suction, it really is like a vacuum.
My only gripe?? It tells us, "Boy, this place is a pig sty!"
Great toy, with a great sense of dry humor! Recommend to all whose children love to "help". Encourage them now, because in 10 years, it probably won't be so easy to get them to clean!!
』
(MIxed Feelings) 『I got this for my son he likes it but after having it a couple weeks Dusty quit talking and wont talk anymore. I contacted amazon and they said they qould give me a credit but they didnt have any to replace it with. So amazon did good on thier part of trying to take of the situation.』
(20 month old loves it) 『We purchased this toy vacuum because our son loved the one at his daycare so much he didn't want to leave it behind at the end of the day. While this will never replace his favorite toy, our actual vacuum, it has provided hours of fun. Not too loud, the little song it plays isn't too obnoxious to adult ears, and it does make a sort of muted vacuum cleaner nosie. A good value for the price.』
(Mommy's Little Helper) 『This is a great toy for a little girl that likes to help Mommy around the house. It makes the noises and talks to you. She loves it and follows me when I am vacuuming so we can do it together. It is so much fun.』 『This rolling, rough and tough vacuum cleaner comes alive with animation, realistic sounds and fun activities. Dusty's friend Brushy comes attached, and the two have cleaning fun all day long as they talk to each other. The vacuum cleaner's handle moves up and down just like a real one, and the free-rolling wheels activate 30 fun phrases and realistic vacuum sounds. As the vacuum rolls along, watch the "dirt" swirling in the canister! Measures approximately 10" x 18". Requires 3 "AA" batteries (included). Colors may vary.』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (A big hit with my twins) 『My 20-month-old twins LOVE this silly thing. It has survived their loving ministrations for several months now, so I'm buying another one for their cousin. I can't tell you how many times this gadget has saved my sanity, as I popped them into the pack-n-play along with their music player. They don't seem to have any interest in the light-up numbers, letters, etc., and I doubt they are "learning" anything from it, but they love the music and it's not offensive to grownup ears. Works for us!』
(My kids LOVE this! A favorite!) 『This is quite possibly my children's favorite toy. Both my 3 year old and 1 year old LOVE it. Actually, they fight over who gets to hold it while dancing around the kitchen. I believe it has helped both of them say/recognize the ABCs. A friend came to play and also loved it. I would consider it very durable -- we have had it for almost a year, and it has taken quite a beating, with definite signs of wear and tear, but works perfectly. I believe I may have seen a newer (and lighter) version in a store recently, so I can't attest to the newer toy's durability. Even better, I bought this on sale. However, I would re-buy again at full-price in a heartbeat if necessary. It is fantastic!』
(Did I get a dud?) 『I just purchased this toy for my grandson. As I was trying it out I have found that it only goes up to 5 on the numbers, and "f" on the abc song. The music songs only play for about 5 seconds and then fades out. Is this the way this is supposed to work or did I get a dud? Please help so I know whether to send it back or not.』
(It's okay) 『Enjoy the songs, they aren't annoying. The color dots *help hold attention, but this toy isn't fun for very long. I think the longest my son has played with it at once is 7 minutes.』
(Worth Every Penny!) 『I purchased this Fridge DJ for my son when he had just turned 1. It was exciting to him right off the bat, it plays a whole variety of songs, including ABCs and other popular children's favorites. He's almost two now and he still loves it. It has also helped teach my 5 year old the days of the week. I love it too, it helps when I'm cooking dinner, my son just sings along with the Fridge DJ!』 『The Leapfrog Fridge DJ is truly a multi-sensory learning experience that helps your child discover numbers, letters and more! The learning screen lights up to show uppercase and lowercase letters, helping to develop letter-recognition skills. Rhyming songs introduce numbers 1-20, both up and down. Engaging music encourages children to move and dance along as Fridge DJ spins learning along! Requires 3 "AA" batteries, included. Measures 2"L x 9"W x 6"H.』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Great buy, my niece loves it!) 『Great product, my niece loves it. Amazon delivered it on time! The external cartridge games are great but it also comes with few games/paintbrush type programs that keep the kids busy for hours learning colors and shapes.』
(Hard to compete correctly but still good) 『I just bought the Leapster for my 5 y.o. daughter. I wanted something she could play with in the car that was educational. She took to it right away and has needed very little help from me. I bought 3 games-this one, Dora Wildlife Rescue, and Kindergarten. She begged me for this one, but it is very challenging. I tried myself to trace the letters and you have to get it right on. You can not stray from the line and you can not go too far or it has you do it again. It's very precise and frustrating even for me. Her favorite is the onboard games and Dora. She does keep trying though b/c it's Princess, it just doesn't hold her interest for very long. There are quite a few games on this one though, I think they are the same but have one for Cinderella and one for Ariel.』
(Great product for handicapped sister!!) 『My handicapped sister loves this game. It helps her concentration level a great deal. Some more advanced children might not enjoy and become bored. In her case it's been a great game.』
(Leapster L-Max Princess Educational Game) 『My daughter has learned how to write her alphabets by using this game. We love it!』
(Great for Princess fans!) 『If your little girl loves the Disney Princesses, she will love this Leapster game. My 5 year old twins fight over who gets to use this cartridge in their Leapster. I see no problems with the graphics, and really like the game where they can trace letters of the alphabet. One of my girls has a lazy eye and problems with fine motor skills and it has been great for her! My other daughter especially enjoys the game that you get to design a dress for Cinderella at the end.』
IPhone 3G used's review (LEGO DUPLO - my 17-month-old's favorite toy) 『As a former lego kid, buying this toy for my 17-month-old was a no-brainer. I didn't realize however how much this toy teaches! Joshie first would take things apart that I put together for him, but now is starting to put things together himself! He's learning the shapes and how they stack. The pieces are too big for him to choke on, and when he has attempted to chew on them, he gets nowhere.
If you remember the wonder of lego blocks, and want that for your developing toddler, I say GO FOR IT.』
(somewhat disappointed) 『I bought this Lego set for my grandson for Christmas. He has other Lego sets so I know he will like it, but the little storage box is only 1/2 - 2/3 full. They could have easily put more blocks in. It almost looks as though its incomplete. Now I have to go out and buy more so that I can fill the box up....hmm maybe they know what they were doing after all.』
(Excellent toy) 『Bought this for my 3 year old niece. She uses this set everyday. The pieces are large and easy for a young child to handle. The other day she called to tell me that she was making a Lego castle for me :)』
(Lego is lego, skip immitators.) 『Great toy. Highly recommended. Kids love it, and I rather have them play with blocks than with guns or watch TV.』
(23-month-old loves this Duplo set) 『My son got this last Christmas when he was 15 months old, and loved it immediately. He didn't "build" much with it at first (I've heard from other parents that kids don't really have the hand strength and coordination at that age) but enjoyed sorting the blocks and taking apart things that I made for him. Now, at 23 months, he is more into both building things - mostly towers or "helping" me build a house- as well as taking them apart. He likes naming all the colors of the blocks, and also puts the "car" in the garage and puts "George" (our name for the little guy) to bed in his house. I expect we'll get a lot of play out of this set for some years, though we may need to buy another set or two so he can build more complex things. 』 『Little builders with big imaginations will love diving into this tub of colorful LEGO bricks. Comes with building plate, wagon base and figure to help inspire role-play fun. New container allows for easy clean-up and efficient storage. The transparent lid lets little builders display their models. 71 pieces. Tub measures 7.56"H x 15.12"W x 7.56".』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Great music set - could use better storage box) 『We gave this to my DD for her 3rd bday. We graduated from the baby instruments that were a hand-me-down from her older brother. The kids love playing w/ this kit (my 6 1/2 yo old son too). The instruments seem very durable. They come w/ a wooden crate box which has no lid. If it had a lid, I would give this toy 5 stars.』
(Poorly made) 『I purchased this for my son, because the price was good for what I thought I'd get. However, upon opening the shipment, I could clearly see how damaged and used the items looked. I returned it for an exchange. The 2nd time I received the order, the items looked even worse! I didn't even have to open it. I returned for another exchange and Amazon never sent me anything. Nor, did they refund my money, even though an email from them indicated that another was on the way. I had to call and discover that they had made a mistake and had not intended to send me another and , oh yeah, because I'm calling, I can have my money back and start over again? What???????? The man on the phone could not have been nicer. However, what if I hadn't called about it? I had so many orders, I could have easily lost track and just gone by their confirmation email that all was fine. A little disappointing and now I'm looking for a better band set for my 16 month old.』
(Excellent buy for a toddler!) 『I bought this toy for my daughter for her second birthday. 5 months later she plays with her instruments every day!
The instruments are very good quality.. extremely durable.. and they have to be to survive the wrath of a 2 year old!
Highly recommended to anyone looking for instruments to buy for their toddler - they are so durable, sound realistic (they are realistic), and are excellent quality.. as Melissa&Doug items usually are.
One one thing I would like to note. My daughter could care less.. but, the instruments come in a wooden crate. And.. its exactly what it is.. a box. Would be nice if there were different compartments for the instruments to be in.. or a lid.. or cover.. or something to keep the instruments in the crate!
Overall, very satisfied and highly recommend this Melissa&Doug Band In A Box set!』
(Good times had by all!) 『My son just adores this toy! Since we are pretty tolerant people, the noise from a toy band doesn't bother us and the sounds coming from the toys sound like actual instruments, not cheap fakes.』
(Not so durable) 『I gave this to my son for his 3rd birthday as he is interested in music and says he wants to play in a band, so I thought he'd enjoy this. He did enjoy it, but broke the tamberine within an hour. The material in the middle was so flimsy - almost like thick paper. It says on the box that this is appropriate for ages 3+. I admit my son can be rough on toys, but I know other three year-olds that are even rougher. This is a cute little set, but not sturdy enough for a three year-old. I think they should reword the recommended age on their package.』 『Little musicians can form a traveling band with this compact wooden music set. Featuring ten fun musical pieces, this quality kit is the perfect way to introduce youngsters to musical play. Pieces include a colorfully designed pair of maracas, hand cymbals, tambourine, triangle and two other wooden noisemakers. Every piece fits conveniently into a sturdy wooden storage case, making clean up a piece of cake.』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Our only use is for car trips...) 『Our almost-2-year-old daughter is absolutely fascinated with Wubbzy. In fact, we use the DVR to tape new shows on a regular basis. Having the DVD is nice, but not a deal-breaker for us, because the shows are all the same shows we've seen repeatedly on Noggin. The only really good thing about the DVD is that we can take it on car trips (we break out the DVD player as a last-resort when said daughter is on the verge of a meltdown).
If you don't have the opportunity to watch Wubbzy on a regular basis, then it's a great DVD to have. Otherwise, there really is very little point to owning it. I'm hoping that we can get others soon that might have a few new episodes!』
(Finally! Wubbzy on DVD!) 『My 2 year old LOVES Wubbzy. (and Widget, and Walden...) Nothing like that kooky, bendy, silly tail Wubbzy has. We've seen this episode before, and my daughter just stands in front of the tv. It's an adorable show geared specifically for preschoolers. It's likely a good watch for even younger kids who already watch tv, just for the visuals of the characters and the songs they sing.』
(4 year old LOVES it!!!!!) 『My daughter watches this everyday. It is a very cute show and the DVD was worth every penny.』
(Great for the kids.) 『Our four year old absolutely adores Wubbzy, and I have to say this DVD entertains her every time we put it in. It has 8 episodes total, and comes in an interesting 3D case that's sure to grab the eye. As a parent, I appreciate shows like Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! that are perfect for the 3-4 year old. It is very fun and educational at the same time. Wubbzy frequently displays a wonderful 'don't give up' attitude even when things don't go as expected. Wubbzy's colorful world is full of oddball shapes and characters, keeping kids entertained and having fun. Because of that, I would highly recommend this title to any parent looking for quality, fun programming for their preschooler.』
(Little ones think Wubbzy is hilarious !) 『My two grandchildren ages 3&4 think that Wubbzy is the funniest thing they have seen on TV. Since they do not have access to the program on their TV at home, I sent this DVD and they watch it every day. They love it. Good value for the money.』 『8 Episodes: A Tale of Tails - Wubbzy feels like an outsider because of his strange curvy tail the kids think it s too kooky and won t play with him, and it keeps causing trouble. Widget invents a machine, the Tail a Tronic, to straighten out Wubbzys tail, but it only makes things worse. Walden puts things in perspective by showing Wubbzy that there s nothing wrong with being a little different. And when Widgets invention, the Robo-Cluck, goes way out of control, it s Wubbzy s tail that saves the day. The other kids realize that they were totally wrong, you cant judge a Wubbzy by his tail. Special Delivery - The Mailman leaves a package for Walden in Wubbzy s care. Wubbzy can t resist opening it, and finds a really cool toy train inside. He starts playing with it, but then he cant figure out how to stop the runaway train. He has to put it back in the box before Walden gets there! Widget tries to help him corral the train, as they wind up chasing it all over the backyard. Finally Walden shows up, and calmly uses the remote control to stop the chaos. Widgets Wild Ride - Wubbzy is excited about racing in the annual Wuzzleburg Derby. But when Widget gets a look at Wubbzy s little road-racer, she gets all kinds of great ideas for souping it up. She puts in huge wheels and turbo-engines and sails and the works. There s no way that Wubbzy can lose! Except he can t control this monster car, and it goes completely berserk stopping and spinning, and driving right into Wuzzleburg pond. Widget is sorry that she ruined Wubbzy s chance to win but maybe all is not lost yet. Attack of the 50-Foot Fleegle - Wubbzy wants a new pet, so he goes to the Pet Truck Man and gets a strange little animal called a Fleegle. The Pet Truck Man warns him to read the care manual, but Wubbzy thinks he knows how to take care of a pet. So he feeds it candy instead of the right food, and it starts growing. And growing, and growing.Soon it s a huge animal rampaging through Wuzzleburg, eating every sweet in sight! It s all Wubbzy s fault, so he has to figure out how to stop it! Come Spy with Me - Walden is acting suspicious about something he must have a secret. Wubbzy and Widget decide to spy on him; they don trench coats and fedoras, and trail him all over town. They are not the smoothest of spies, unfortunately tracking Walden to the library, they manage to knock over a whole shelf of books. Then they follow him to the Yum-Yum Restaurant, and finally to Mt. Zubba Bubba. They deduce that hes moving away! But Walden reveals that his real secret is a surprise gift for his two spying friends. Wubbzy Tells a Whopper - Wubbzy accidentally breaks Widgets Sandy-sander, and rather than tell her the truth, he concocts a story about a monstrous Growlygus who stole it. Widget is intent on tracking down the Growlygus, and insists that Wubbzy help her. Wubbzy has to keep embellishing his little fib to keep Widget from finding out the truth he leads his friends on a wild goose chase into the woods, looking for the mythical animal. The mess grows bigger and bigger until things get way out of control, and Wubbzy has to tell the truth. Bonus Episodes: Mt. Fizzy-Pop - There s a whole lot of shaking going on in Wuzzleburg, and it s because old Mt. Fizzy-Pop on Dino Island is bubbling and rumbling. Walden is afraid that it s about to erupt! Puddle Muddle - Wubbzy is all spruced-up to get his picture taken with Widget and Walden, but en route to the studio he spots a mud puddle, and can t resist splashing around in it. Now he s all muddy, and has to take another bath. From now on he ll stay away from puddles!』 『Wubbzy is an infectiously lovable cartoon character with a kooky crooked tail that lives in a CGI world of unusual looking animal characters, pink and purple trees, and buildings with zig-zaggy walls. An impulsive young creature, Wubbzy greets each day with enthusiasm and a healthy dose of curiosity and is always on the lookout for a fun new experience. When trouble arises, Wubbzy counts on his good friends Widgit, a lover of machines and master inventor, and Walden, a science whiz, to help him creatively solve even the most difficult problem. In these eight humor-filled episodes, Wubbzy and his friends engage in everything from trying to straighten out Wubbzy's crooked tail to building the fastest road racer ever, stopping a volcano from erupting, and caring for a pet fleegle. While things rarely work out like the three friends plan, they always manage to have loads of fun while discovering the value of things like friendship, liking oneself, helping others, truthfulness, self-restraint, and taking responsibility for one's actions. IPhone 3G used's review (needed new batteries way too often) 『not sure if it was a problem with just mine or for all but i found it too much of a pain to keep having to change the batteries (after little use). I returned it and got the vitech one instead - not having the same problems with that one. also didn't like where the button was to take pics on the fisher price model - so small and hard to press for my daughter.』
(Button is hard to push) 『I bought this for my daughter's third birthday. She had easily played with the non-waterproof version at a friend's house several times. She had a very difficult time learning how to hold this water proof version of the camera so that her finger could reach the button. The pink plastic case around the button makes it harder to push. Kids have to push the button in rather than down which is harder for small fingers. She eventually figured it out but I would look for the older model if at all possible.』
(Childrens Camera) 『This camera is an excellent entry level educational "toy" for younger children. One draw back is that it does not have a handle to carry it by. The child takes pictures at the zoo, but mom or dad ends up carrying the camera, wheras if it had a carrying handle like mom or dads camera then the child would feel responsible by carrying their own camera. Over all it is an excellent camera and the price is a great value!!!』
(Pleasantly Surprised) 『I bought this for my 3-year old. I was concerned about the poor resolution these types of cameras offer. In the end, the images are more than acceptable for a child. I wish the LCD screen was a bit larger and clearer, but uploading pictures to the computer and online is super easy. I added some pictures to the images section for this product.
For the $50 price, it seems like a good value. I purchased rechargeable batteries so I wouldn't have to worry about the expected poor battery life.』
(I am buying this for my daughter because of the Frustration Free Pkg.) 『Thank you, Jeff Bezos and FP for finally doing something to address the environmentally irresponsible and incredibly annoying packaging problem! I am buying this for my daughter for Christmas to support your efforts, and I encourage other parents to do the same. Just say no to sixteen layers of plastic and cardboard and three feet of steel ties!』 『The award-winning and best-selling Kid-Tough Digital Camera was the first preschool digital camera tough enough to stand up to rough preschooler use and easy enough to use. And it just got even tougher-- tough enough to stand up to water! New, enhanced "kid-tough" styling means this camera is now waterproof. Plus, it maintains all its favorite features, like an easy-to-use format and simple buttons. The 1.5" color LCD preview screen allows kids to instantly see the picture they've taken and view or delete previous shots. Image resolution of 1.3 or 0.3 megapixels provides quality 4" x 6" prints.
Additional features include auto flash, 64MB of flash memory for storing up to 500 pictures, USB cable for computer connection, dual handle grips and a two-eye view finder that makes it easy for kids to take great pictures. Requires 4 "AAA" batteries, not included. Measures 5.4" x 2.7" x 3.7".』
『The Kid Tough Digital Camera from Fisher-Price is rugged enough to go everywhere your child goes. With two-eye viewing, sturdy grips and a built-in flash, this real digital camera is designed to survive being dropped, and it is waterproof to protect against spills and splashes. This camera is a perfect way for kids ages three and up to document all their favorite things.
Two-eye viewing and a built-in flash make picture taking easy (shown in blue). View larger.
The Good:Durable, easy way for kids to experience photography
The Bad:May seem bulky in little hands
In a Nutshell:This Fisher-Price camera really is Kid Tough.
At a Glance
Ages:3 and up Requires:Four AAA batteries
Easy to Start Taking Pictures An adult will need to use a screwdriver to install the four AAA batteries before kids get their hands on this camera. With a textured button on the front that releases the shutter, and large buttons on the back that let little hands turn the camera on and off, browse through pictures, and delete images, this camera is so easy to use that you don't even need instructions.
The fun, brightly colored body helps distinguish this camera from boring adult models, making it an instant favorite.
Kid-Friendly Technology Kids can pick between using the live view on a 1.5-inch color LCD preview screen or looking through the two-eye viewer when taking pictures. The preview screen also lets kids look at pictures the moment after they take them. With a built-in flash that automatically illuminates darkened scenes, and a shutter noise that makes it easy to know when a picture has been taken, kids are sure to be delighted by their images.
The 64 MB built-in memory stores up to 500 pictures and eliminates the need for handling fragile and expensive memory cards. Two image resolution settings, 0.3 and 1.3 interpolated mega pixels, let kids take tons of pictures and make 4 x 6-inch prints.
Fun, Durable Way to Encourage Creativity With its big rubberized grips and sturdy construction, we found this camera lived up to its incredibly durable reputation. Able to easily withstand being dropped again and again and waterproof for 30 minutes in up to three feet of water, this camera can handle the rough reality of active play.
The heavy-duty construction that makes this camera so durable also made it seem somewhat bulky for little hands, but this didn't prevent kids from wanting to take it on all their adventures.
Older children and adults may be disappointed by the image quality, but higher resolutions would allow less pictures to be stored and decrease the amount of fun children have with this camera. Kids quickly find that there's plenty of resolution for exercising creative urges and documenting the wonders of everyday life.
The camera comes with a USB cable so pictures can be downloaded quickly and easily for editing and viewing. It is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Apple Mac OSX, Apple Mac OS9 and requires a USB port 1.1 or higher for computer connectivity.
