My 2 year old daughter can put the missile to the blaster and send it off with a foot. It is not bad for under 15 bucks. It comes with 4 missiles that is as soft as a nerf. Wont hurt even it hits you on the face. The pump is sort of a rubbery plastic. My older kids can shoot it high as the roof. When we are playing this outside our townhouse neighborhood, all the kids can't wait for his turn. A sure big hit.』

The 2-year-old for whom it is presumably suited must: 1. catch on to depressing a button before shaking the toy; 2. have the muscular stength and aerobic endurance to shake the toy vigorously until the tune has come to its conclusion; 3. possess the motivation to attempt either of the aforementioned steps.
I frankly was wasted after shaking it violently for the entirety of "Oh, Susanna," so I'm not sure what the remaining six tunes are (and in no shape to find out). From the opening bars I was able to recognize Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer," but the typically cheesy single-note sound provides little motivation for a huffin'-'n-puffin' grandpa to shake this ragtime staple to its conclusion.
This thing might work with a precocious Arnold--just promise the kid some greater reward than the song itself. Or an adult in need of some exercise might find it convenient to use at their desk (just don't let your co-workers catch sight of you turning as red as the tambourine while trying to get it to play "Don't you cry for me").
Of course, there's always the possibility that an adult's working with the device will loosen it up enough for a tot to tempt a tune out of it. Or perhaps this "Magic Tambourine" will work for those who have the magic touch. It's not worth the fuss of returning, so we'll see how it goes over with my grandchild. If she makes it all the way through "The Entertainer," I'll raise my rating to a high 5 and encourage her to run for governor (big things can happen to women governors).』

(Good Sounds, Lever Tough For Ages Who Would Enjoy Toy the Most) 『This remake of the classic pull string animal sound toy, uses a lever instead of the string. The farm animal sounds are fun, and the educational value is good for 9 months-18 months, in my opinion. The main issue I have with the toy (like a lot of others) is the lever. I would say the lever is designed for a 2+ year old to pull - younger kids can pull it partially, but not all the way, but the rest of the toy is really ideal for kids in the 9-18 month range. This mismatch keeps the toy from being a full recommendation. I would buy it again, but hope Fisher Price improves this product in the future.』
(Not Loud Enough) 『The See 'n Say lets our 2 year old choose from 16 different animals, 2 animal songs or the "animal quiz." My son especially likes the song option which either plays "Old McDonald" or "Farmer in the Dell." I like how this new model has more animals than the older version. This version is smaller and slightly easier for little hands to pull. This new model runs on batteries as opposed to the wind-up/unwind kind with the harder-to-pull lever or string. The major problem with this toy is that it simply isn't loud enough. The spinning wheel drowns out the sound of the animals. It's not even that the spinner is too loud. The toy is just too quiet even in a room with no other noise. It would be impossible to hear it in a daycare or some other louder setting. Overall, it's a good toy for teaching animals and sounds. The pictures are bright and vivid. I just wish it was louder.』
