IPhone 3G used's review (splinters on the fishing rod) 『fun toy but make sure you get some sand paper and smooth the fishing rod. Not finished well. Other than that... It seems a lot of fun. 』
(So glad I made this purchase) 『I bought this game with a few other puzzles&magnetic games for my niece and nephew's birthday. They really enjoyed them and are fine tuning motor skills while haveing fun.』
(We like the other version better) 『My 1 1/2 year old son loved this toy at a friend's house. I enjoyed helping him work on it as well. But when I ordered this newer version with more cartoon-like fish we are both disappointed. I think the fish and sea creatures look silly, and I can no longer name them. I definitely prefer the more realistic looking sea creatures on the older version and my son seemed more attracted to them as well.
Also with this newer version the puzzle pieces are more difficult to put back because it isn't immediately clear which way is up. I'm sure when he is older it will be easier for him. (I realize he is younger than the recommended age).
He does still enjoy "fishing" out the pieces. It's still a good toy, but we are going back to the older version.』
(Melissa&Doug Fishing Game) 『This sturdy wooden game is exceptional for hand eye coordination and toddlers love it. It has been dropped countless times and no wear is visible. Many times a day it is played with and still enjoyed as a toy that is worth the buy.』
(Quiet fun!) 『I bought this for my almost-2 year old niece. She and her 4 year old sister both enjoy playing with it and, according to my sister, it provides some welcome QUIET play time (so many toys lately come complete with loud, electronic NOISE).
Recommended!』 『Can you "catch" all these colorful sea creatures, then put them back where they belong' Redesigned artwork brings new life to these much-loved, creative magnetic games. Includes beautiful board with 10 magnetic pieces and magnetic wand. Measures 11.8" x 9.1" x .6".』

Her horse is all dressed now...she tells us...and that made her happy! As far as the construction of the items...they seem pretty durable so far and they really do make the horse look finished so it was definitely a great purchase for us. And the price was the best I found anywhere!』
(Accessory kit for Butterscotch.) 『I purchased the accessory kit for the Fur Real pony "Butterscotch. It really completes this toy. The pony itself is awesome and really acts like a real horse but the saddle blanket, blue ribbon, grass and leg wraps really add so much.』
(Worth waiting for) 『This was a gift from Santa to Butterscotch, which he had brought our 4 year old daughter last year. We had been looking to buy or make something to use as a saddle and what a surprise when Hasbro introduced this. (Saved me from designing and sewing one!) It is worth the price considering the amount of material I had purchased to make one. Our daughter loves to "saddle up" Butterscotch and take her for a ride and then "untack" her at the end of the day to put her to bed. I consider it good training in the inevitable event that she starts riding a real horse someday. A good item for any "horse-crazy" girl.』
(Pretty for Butterscotch!) 『My daughter received Butterscotch for Christmas along with this outfit. It looks adorable and my daughter had the greatest time dressing up her pony. The accessories that come in this gift set are just what Butterscotch needs to look like a winner!』
(Adorable pony accessory!!) 『Very cute! My daughter LOVED her pony and LOVED this accessory outfit for her pony!! Shipped promptly and packaged great!! Free shipping -- I really loved that!!!』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Fun for toddlers!) 『My little girl loves this toy! The only problems we've had have come from our cats (who can't seem to resist carrying around the tiny fuzzy Calico Critters!). If your child enjoys playing pretend games with toys, this is nearly perfect.』
(Cute but frustrating) 『We gave this set to our 3 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. The critters are adorable; however, we are disappointed with the Backyard Swing&Playset. The critters will not stay on the swing - they either fall off, or the swing tips over when they are on. It is also difficult to get the critters to stay on the see-saw. Overall, my 3 1/2 year old became frustrated because she could not get the critter to stay on the swing&playset. She ended up using the critters in the Littlest Pet Shop sets and in the Fisher Price Lovin' Family Twin Time dollhouse. On the plus side, it does appear to be sturdy and is very cute.』
(A nice little set of toys.) 『I think that they are pretty self explanatory, so I won't bore you with any details of the items themselves. Instead, I will simply say that these are fairly sturdy and fun little toys that both young boys and girls can appreciate.』 『Charming, wooden Backyard Set comes with a see-saw, swing and climbing frame, detachable slide and tricycle. Sandbox bottom has a sand-like texture and comes equipped with a sandcastle bucket and spade. Critters sold separately. Ages 3+』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Poorly made town but maybe redeemable) 『Like other reviewers, I feel this toy is poorly constructed (flimsy) and just doesn't work for kids as intended. Our children tend to push the toy around as they play and just aren't able to get the mechanics of it -- primarily because the idea of a child moving the game piece so deliberately is ridiculous.
We did two things to improve the experience: - We used hook and loop tape to attach the playing board to a piece of wood. - We had a long chat with our kids about how to move the piece and count along slowly.』
(Poor Construction) 『There is no way to sugarcoat this. The game construction is very poor and unacceptable. At the four points where the track connects, the car is very hard to move past. As a result the car can jump the tracks. As others have said if you move the car slowly it does better at counting. But if a 4 to 5 year old is trying to get it past one of the four connection points, he has to give it a good push. This usually results in the car counting wrong or worse the car coming off the track.
The counting issue also happens if you don't push the car very smoothly. This is not easy for a 4 to 5-year old. Especially for long moves, he pushes it part of the way, then re-adjusts to push it the next few spaces. His arms just aren't long enough. As others have said this may happen from the car registering multiple times on the same bump. Also moving too fast may cause the car to lift and not register on a bump. Mom or dad will need to hold the track to prevent it from moving when children are moving the car.
Hasbro should have spent a little more money in making the track. The car, houses, and money are fine. The concept of the game is fine for a 4 to 5 year old. The money really doesn't matter for winning, but my son does like it when mom or dad have to pay him though. 』
(Would not recommend) 『My kids like this game but it does not work well and they are still too young to understand that it is not working right. The car does not stay on the track well and even if you move the car slow it still doesn't count right. This game is really frustrating for the adult that has to play with the kids. I would take it back if it wasn't a gift.』
(mine didn't work, either) 『I went ahead and bought this product, because I thought that maybe since there were only a few reviews, there might have just been a bad batch of games sold to a few people. Well, mine didn't work either, and I'm taking it back. The car doesn't stay on the track, and it counts the spaces wrong. It is very annoying and would be better if it didn't count for you at all. Also, the car gets caught on the paper that's on the track and rips it up as you try to move it along the board. It almost seems as if this game was mass produced based on a prototype but the final product was never tested.』
(OK, but has flaws) 『OK game...but you have to move the car slowly so it will count properly. Also, if you (or your child) accidentally moves the car backwards, it counts the space as forwards, which is annoying. The 'Bank' ran of of money before our game ended; but then again, I'm not sure what the purpose of the money really is, since it doesn't determine if you win or loose. I think the next time we play, we will play with a) no money and b) less roofs to start. My 4 and 5 year old lost interest before the game was done.』 『Join Mr. Monopoly as he makes his way around town! Mr. Monopoly does all the talking to guide you through town -- if he tells you to move forward two spaces, you know what to do... and if you make a mistake, he'll let you know! Play money and building blocks help make counting fun. And building is easy -- just add a block when you land on a colored space. No reading required. Game board comes with Mr. Monopoly in a car, track (in four pieces), play money, green building blocks, 28 roofs and instructions. Adult assembly required. For two to four players.』

Usually ships in 24 hours IPhone 3G used's review (Horton Hears a review!) 『This is such a fun toy. You hide the little berries around the house and then whoever lands on a berry tile has to wear the horton/elephant hat and find/pick up the berry with the trunk while doing a funny action like crawling or hopping or something. My 3.5 year old son LOVES this! Even my husband had a ball last night playing it with him. The spinner brings back memories of my child hood games and helps the young kids with counting from 1-4. I thought this was a 10 in terms of fun. Another fun game we have from the same company is the Cat in the Hat game. That one is great too.』
(A Huge Hit!) 『I love this game. I bought it for my niece and nephew a while back and since then have given it out as a birthday gift to two of my friend's kids. In all cases, it has been a huge hit, and I've heard that kids keep asking to play this one over and over. They never tire of pretending to be Horton, putting on the Horton mask, and racing around the house to rescue the Whos. Kids particularly think it's hilarious when grown ups put on the Horton mask. Very clever and sweet; perfect for preschoolers.』
(An Unexpected Joy) 『I confess, I only bought this game because I needed a Horton costume for my daughter and I saw that the hat would fill the bill. But this has become the most popular game in our house! Everyone from our 3&4-year-old to a visiting 13-year-old thinks it is fun. It moves fast, so even the littlest ones can join in. The Horton hat is used to pick up game pieces with velcro, so smaller children can "cheat" and use their hands while bigger ones can be required to pick up the pieces with no hands. My only complaint is that it is hard to keep the scoring chips in their designated place, and some of the younger kids have trouble keeping track of them. But they have too much fun to care who wins! 』 『The jump-up-and-go silly search game! Go on a wild adventure to save the Whos! This jump-up-and-go game provides loads of active, out-of-your seat fun! Encourages cooperative play, reinforces memory skills, helps develop fine-motor&gross-motor dexterity,&gets kids active and out of their seats. IPhone 3G used's review (More fun then expected!) 『We didn't know what to expect with all the negative reviews, but we are very happy with our purchase. We got the boat for our 2 yr old and yes, the 2 figures are made out of a very cheap plastic which weren't painted very well, the sail falls off the boat all the time and the figures are so light that they can't even stand in the ship, but the boat has been floating perfectly for us in the water(does not sink)and our daughter lays Uniqua and Pablo down on the boat for their "rides". We actually use it more outside of the tub on the floor for pretend play and she just loves it! Whenever backyardigans comes on the tv she races through the house looking for Uniqua and Pablo and brings them out to play. She has absolutely NO idea that it is faulty in any way....she loves everything about it and that's all that matters - we only paid 9.99 for it and it was worth the joy it brings to her. Remember that sometimes our expectations are just too high....if you don't tell them what is wrong with it they won't even realize it.』
(Hide the Pirates and Glue the Mast In) 『I read the reviews and bought this toy anyway, not anticipating just how annoying it would be for the mast to constantly fall out and for the pirates to not stand up on the ship when it is in the water. My son doesn't understand yet (he's 22-months) that they won't stand up and he gets really frustrated. He also thinks the best way to pick the boat up is with the mast, which it is. However, every time he does this, the mast falls off. I will be hiding the pirates until he gets older, and I will be gluing the mast in. Just a couple tips.』
(Floats but too many pieces) 『This toy seemed great from previous reviews, but it has far too many pieces for the suggested age range. The characters, mast, sails, treasure chest and deck of the boat all come apart, making it more of a hassel to get it all together for bathtime enjoyment.』
(Fun bath toy) 『My son really enjoys playing with this toy. But he wants the other characters--it only comes with the two shown. The boat does float but Pablo and Uniqua don't stand on it very well. My son usually has them diving off the side of the tub or "swimming" deep in the "sea" so it doesn't matter much to him. I do wish I could find the other three characters. It's nice that they don't have any holes for water to get inside. So that's my only real complaint--we need Tyrone, Austin and Tasha!』
(Bath time, ahoy!) 『My son, who just turned four, *LOVES* this ship, the figures and the treasure chest. He gets cranky because I won't let him continue his pirate adventures with this for the rest of the day after the bath (because it takes that long to drip-dry). Pablo and Uniqua fit under the deck in specific molded compartments, and the chest sits securely on the prow. My son loves it, so I'm happy with it. It also keeps his mitts off my own Playmobil pirate ship!』 『Set sail for pirate adventures in your own bathtub! This floating playset includes a pirate ship, Captain Pablo and Captain Uniqua figures, and a water-straining treasure chest.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Whole Lotta Fun) 『I'd buy this toy for a gift in a second! My son has had this for around 8 months now (he's now 21 months old) and still plays with it. It really holds his interest and is easy to take on the road. Keeps his fingers busy in the car seat. It does a good job of introducing numbers and letters (not a heavy teacher, in my opinion) and the lights and music are amusing. This is one purchase I didn't regret.』
(Great value!) 『I gave this phone to my 18 mth old son and he loved it. So the next year I bought some more to give to other kids as gifts and it was still a hit. Kids just seem to love it.』
(As entertaining as a calculator) 『If my 2 year old would ever play with this toy I'm sure it would be educational for him. It plays a bit of music and says letters and numbers out loud as your child hits the buttons. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars for educational value was because it says all the numbers out loud except for "zero." When you hit "zero" it says, "bye bye." My 2 year old who loves to play with the regular telephone wasn't interested in this toy at all. There's nothing "fun" about it for a very small child.』
(Excellent toy!) 『This learning phone has everything your baby needs - lights, sounds, numbers, letters, songs, etc.. I highly recommend it』
(fun toy) 『This phone is cute, makes sounds and lights that delight my grandaughter. Seems durable, she drops it and it just lights up and sings to her. It is a bit bigger than her little hand can handle, so she still prefers to walk off with a grownups cell phone, but it is an entertaining little phone for her.』 『The Laugh and Learn Home Phone combines three modes with fun role play. In the first mode, baby learns ABC's, and in the second mode 1-2-3's by hearing them and seeing them appear on the LED display. The third mode is music play - the keypad activates nine fun musical ditties, phrases and silly sound affects. In all three modes baby will also get lots of fun everyday experiential phrases and over over 25 fun animations. Includes 3 "AAA" batteries.』
IPhone 3G used's review (Good toy, kind of pricey for what you get.) 『First off, I think this toy is way overpriced for what you get. Sure it's big, but it's not that much stuff when you get down to it.
My 4-year old son got this for his birthday, and hasn't stopped playing with it yet. We've set it up on our dining room table, and he loves hopping right up on the table and playing with all the characters. He can entertain himself for 30minutes to an hour with it in one sitting, at least.
I do have some quality issues with the product. There is a folding floor that extends from the main rescue center part that is very easy to break off if you apply too much pressure. I can already see some "white plastic" where the plastic is stretching out when this happens. It doesn't take much more than a rough kid to break it off.
The zip line is also kind of awkward, in that at the end, you have this small orange shelter, and Diego falls so quickly and hits the shelter it doesn't seem very "fun" to me, but kids like it.
Bottom line, it's overpriced, but if you can get it cheap, I'd pick it up. As with most large toys like this, you really need a good place to put it as it takes up a lot of room.』
(A Happy Nana and Grandson, age 5!) 『The order came on time. It was represented correctly by the seller. It was in perfect condition. My grandson has been playing with it since that time. I would recommend the seller to anyone.』
(Great Fun) 『My son, 2 3/4 years, loves this toy. He plays with it almost every day. He played with it for hours on end the first night we had it. He love playing diego with all his friends. The toy is easy to assemble. It comes apart easily, but can be reassembled by my 2 year old with no trouble. He enjoys taking it apart and putting it back together. The only issue I've had with the quality of the toy is that the flap on the back that gives extra room in the treehouse comes off easily and cannot be put back by my son. Overall...this is a great toy. Take note that the backpack and zip line have changed since these pictures. The zip line is now a straight stiff line and the backpack snaps on to be easier than the loops.』
(Cabin Falls Apart...) 『It looked great on Christmas morning. It was played with for a bit - and then, boys being boys, they really played with it. And it kept falling apart. Pretty soon we were on a constant, "Fix this!" rotation. It got bad, we just put the cabin on the floor, instead of the stilts. This ruined the look, of course, so we put it back together - and even then, the playability factor just slowly went down hill.
We were disappointed with the overall toy. The Diego piece, the animals and the vehicles were very much fun - and they lasted much longer than the Rescue Center. We should have just bought the accessory sets, instead. Because that's all we played with: vehicle and diego pieces.
Might be a good toy for a gentle play-er, but we don't have any of those here.』
(Son loves it! But quality is not great.) 『My almost 3 yr old son LOVES it! He has played with is several times since putting it together last night and is playing with it now. I have the same complaints as everyone else, the quality of the construction of the toy is less than desirable. The swinging door does not stay shut, the zip cord comes off when Diego slides down it, Diego is extremely hard to get into the "rescue pack" to slide down, the extension piece on the top level does not sit straight, the elevator is hard to move up and down, and the "legs" do not snap in and stay in place... so everytime you try to move the elevator and have to use force the entire top comes off since the legs pop out. It also would have been nice if it came with Alicia or at least gave you the option of buying an expansion pack that includes her. IPhone 3G used's review (marble run) 『nice toy except requires adult assistance to build. once ready my daughter gets engaged for a long time.』
(A lilttle disappointing) 『I purchased this for my 4 year old son. He loved the idea of it, but it was much more challenging to assemble then we anticipated. Its not like you can just hook it all together and then the marble goes. You have to really plan it out and keep testing whether the marble goes the way you are intending it to go. Also, my son backed up and stepped on a piece and it broke in half, so maybe rubber, as opposed to plastic, would be more sturdy. I was also under the impression if you dropped the marbles at the top, they could find different ways down to the bottom. Not the case. They all went the same way, so much of the structure went unused... although it "looked" like it would be cool.』
(Disappointed) 『Marble run arrived packed only in a plastic bag with no instructions. The pieces did not seem to be the same as the product photograph. A very disappointed little boy on Christmas morning.』
(Excellent fun) 『This is such a good toy for constructive play. It gets children thinking in three dimentions and a bit of physics (gravity) thrown in. All the children I have gotten it for will spend time trying to make the marbles go where they want. It would be nice to have larger pictures of the models shown on the box, sometimes it is hard to see which way to turn the channel pieces, but we just "try it out" and the children like that too. The holder for the wheel is fragile, we broke one the first time we were using it. It is excellent fun.』
(Hours of Fun with Marbles) 『They have a few of these sets at my daughter's preschool and the kids were fighting for turns with it.
