Sometimes he just talks to the bees and flies them around; sometimes he puts some of the leaves in the honey pot and tries to catch the bees. We also practice counting sometimes, to see who has more bees. He doesn't understand yet that getting bees is 'bad' when you pull a leaf out, so we play to see who can get the most bees to fall down. He can put this together by himself and get quite a few leaves in. Yes, it's tricky to insert all the leaves, but you don't have to use them all, or all the bees. We love this game and are so happy we have it!』
(Fun game) 『The honey bee tree is cute and easy enough to put together. The only difficulty is that the tree is supposed to be turned for each play of the game. Its hard to turn and pieces sometimes drop through when turning.』

Yes, an adult has to take 5 minutes to set up. The leaves do not come out... I am not really comprehending what is being done wrong. And yes the game is quick... you have bees being balanced on leaves... after the first 5 pulls the bees begin to slowly drop on people. That is the purpose of the game afterall. It is fun and a quick game unlike some tedious games like "Candy Land". As a parent of 3 kiddies under 5... I am very happy when games are quick and fun.』

My only complaint would be that you have to turn the trunk of the tree to make the bees fall into each player's slot. This is difficult to do (especially for a four-year-old) without causing more bees to fall accidentally. We solved this by just turning the entire tree and each person keeps their bees throughout the game. Other than this problem, though, it's constructed very well.』

IPhone 3G used's review (Daughter likes it, but AAAGH) 『My daughter (2.5 yo) likes to play with the ducks by herself. she prefers this to actually playing the game, although she does know how to play (with a little help from me on the taking turns bit...). I always know when she wakes up from her nap when I start hearing this game quacking away over the baby monitor.
We have several toys that make noise and I can pretty easily tune them out, but I have to say that this one is incredibly annoying. At least it's easy enough to turn on and off!』
(Modify volume) 『my two boys enjoy the game (3 and 1 years old) it is very loud, i read that some older versions had 3 batteries and the one on the right could be removed to stop the quacking. our version has 2 batteries and a mechanical quack, i just finished removing the bellows that was attached to the red "duck call" whistle. I could not figure out how to remove the turn table so I just pushed at the bellows with the screwdriver and it was off. it is not yet back together but i am sure it will be less noisy.』

But here's a couple of things you should think about before purchasing. Like other reviewers have said, it would be nice if there were a power switch somewhere on the game. As it is, the big red button that you hit to turn the quacking&movement on/off is VERY sensitive - I can't put the box back up on the shelf without the game turning on. And forget trying to stack another game on top of this one! Again, the quacking starts up! And children can't put the game away themselves because you have to get 3 ducks in each corner with the main piece in the center just right in the too-small box! Because the game itself isn't anything spectacular, parents should definitely consider this type of thing before buying the game.』
(great educational game but very noisy and tough to re-package and store) 『This toy is great in reference to the educational aspects of the game. It allows a parent or older sibling to teach colors and shapes while also incorporating the social skills of sharing and being happy for someone else when they win.
That being said it is a terribly noisy game, both mechanically noisy as well as the continuous qucking that takes place while it is running. There is no shut off button or volume control and it is a tough little bugger to get re-packaged in the box once it has been taken out. I expect my kids to help put a game away when they are done using it but this one requires my efforts solely. Once you get it back in the box you have to becareful not to bump the top or set anything on the top of the box or you set off the quacking while it is in the box.
Great learning toy but can get on a parents nerves if played with for a long period of time.
Overall I gave it a three because of the re-packaging hassles and the lack of on/off button or volume control.』

(Great For Cuddling) 『I purchased this item for myself to go along with the other Madeline dolls I've had since my childhood. This is, by far, the best-quality doll of the bunch. There are wonderful details, from the lace trim on her socks to the grosgrain ribbon on her hat. Her blue coat and plaid dress are removable, and underneath her apparel is an embroidered appendectomy scar.
At 18" tall, she's perfect for hugs. Little girls will delight in cuddling this Madeline doll while reading Ludwig Bemelmans' books about the adorable French school girl.
Probably the only thing I'm not too keen on about this doll is the fabric with which her body is made. It's like the same material McDonald's uses on their plush Happy Meal toys. Sure, it's soft, but it doesn't quite match the quality of the doll's clothing and accessories.』

The first one I am reviewing is Fergus. In the Thomas stories, Fergus is a small dark blue railway traction engine who was saved from scrap by Salty. He was used to power the lighthouse when the generator blew out. Reliable and useful, Fergus is always ready to help out in case of an emergency.
If you are looking for a railway set for your child that's not too expensive, but is also pretty durable, you certainly cannot go wrong with the Take Along Thomas railway. Choose Fergus or any of the other engines. They are loads of fun!』

(Two year LOVES this toy!) 『After reading the reviews.. I bought this toy for my daughter for her second birthday. I had absolutely no idea she would fall in love with this toy.. my goodness, she LOVES it!
Two months later, she plays with it every single day. She has mastered all the pieces.. educational value is through the roof. She knows exactly what all the pieces are and the corresponding sound to the animals.. and she knows where to put all the pieces once they are all out. She loves lifting up the flap and seeing all the animals.
One thing I want to note. This toy only gets a 4 star for durability b/c the magnetic pieces are wood with a paper picture on top - my daughter put one of the pieces in her mouth, and the paper has torn. I do wish the pictures of the animals, plan, farmer, etc. were painted on instead. So dont let your child put the pieces in their mouth!
Overall, highly recommend this toy.. do not listen to the "recommended age" for this toy - my 2 year old daughter loves it, perfect age for her.. and very educational regarding building up memory skills of where everything goes. By far one of the best toys we have for her.』
(Fun for on-the-go) 『We got this to entertain our 16 month old son while we all sat and watched a 2 hour hockey game. He loved it! I like that the pieces are magnetic and don't fall out when it's tipped over. Sometimes he wasn't able to get the pieces out on his own due to the magnets, but he was able to do it within a few more months. Getting the pieces back in was a cinch from the beginning - a great way to start out before trying the more advanced puzzles. Great toy - I am a believer in Melissa Doug toys!』
