(Awesome!) 『This product was bought for my 10 yr old daughter as an Easter gift. She first recieved a webkinz last year (2007) and had requested more for holidays and birthdays. She enjoys playing with it online at webkinz.com. For the most part, the acutal Poodle just sits on her bed unless she's off to spend the night at a friends house or her younger siblings get a hold of it - which is quite often.
It's super soft and plushy. Great to cuddle with or stuff in a backpack on the way out the door.
Given the chance, I would buy this product again. I'd also recommend it to others. Infact, I've also purchased other products within the webkinz line and have not had any issues with any of them.

My sister got this one about three months ago and it is not falling apart or anything. after we put it online (with no problems) we had a blast! as for educational value I would give this toy 5 stars, for example; the quickest way to earn kinzcash (which you can spend on your pet) is the educational quiz section where you can answer health, math, language, and other school related questions. you can do all sorts of rooms for your pet and have your friends come over and see them! they also have a kinzchat system where you use drop down menues to creat senteces, and no personal info can be sent! we have a fast internet browser on our computer which helps alot when logging in to webkinz, but occasionaly we have to log out on saturdays 'cause there are too many people trying to login and it freezes up. it works good on week day mornings though. (This Generation's Teddy Ruxpin) 『I bought the bear when our oldest son was 2.5 years old. Instantly, it was a hit. He was completely mesmerized by the bear! He liked the stories, but unless I sat there with him, he would get lost and toddle away from the bear. Now that our youngest is almost 2, they will both sit in front of it at the kitchen table while I do something fun - like dishes. They sometimes fight over the story props (if the story has one), but we worked that out with the page-by-pag system: If Mega gets it one page, Skeeter gets it the next. The little sound that tells you to turn the page works perfectly for making sure they alternate, since they aren't reading the books themselves just yet.
As for durability - we've never let the boys get a hold of the bear. He did survive a move, and he's still working just fine, but I don't know who packed the box he was in, so it might have been careful packing, and he might just be super durable.
We've had the bear for almost a year and he hasn't lost the spark. The boys still love him. In this house, that carries a lot of weight! Excellent toy!』

IPhone 3G used's review (A Toy Nativity Set! YEAH!!!) 『This is the first any only nativity set I have ever seen and my child loves it. The detailing is amazing there are gifts from the wise men and so much more. My only complaint, like somone else, is that the structure was unfortunately tossed to the side or ruined. This is the only playmobil set I have seen that came with a major piece being made of cardboard. We have Santa's house/toyshop as well and the gift boxes are made of thin cardboard but that made sense. I really wish playmobil would up the price a couple dollars and make the structure plastic. Otherwise a perfect set once again. We love our playmobil! I have considered purchasing the playmobil horse shed item #7917 to use for the nativity structure. I think it is the closet option and it is plastic!』

(Entertained the kids for a good two weeks.) 『Since there's no review posted here yet, here's mine. I bought this for my two sons, ages 6 and 3, and as expected, they fought over it, but only for the first two weeks and now they've returned to their old favorites, Cars and Sonic. The games are nicely done for the most part, and use the real voices from what I can tell (including Patton Oswald). Leapfrog avoided duplicating game play from other cartridges, and did a nice job graphically with 4 out of 5 of the distinct games. I wasn't impressed with the one where Remy surfs through sewer pipes (first-person style game). The graphics on that one are poor, and the game play is particularly clunky. The game requires you to quickly identify numbers from letters, but I couldn't tell an "S" from a "5" or a "1" from an "I", so I don't get how a child could be expected to. There's a game where you have to sort items in 2 or 3 different categories, first based on color, then by food group. There's a lot of items, and I could tell that it was really challenging my kids in a good way, with no time limit. Unfortunately, I must report that I witnessed this particular game have a glitch no less than three times, because my kids complained to me. None of the buttons would work, the characters were caught in a loop, staring at you. The Leapster had to be restarted, or at least I had to exit the game by pushing "Home". There's a concentration-style matching game which requires the player to match sounds too, rather than just pictures. The recipe game got a surprising amount of play with my kids too, where the player has to follow directions and crack the right number of eggs, avoid putting in the wrong ingredients that are on the table, stir the pot a certain number of times, etc. Overall, I recommend this cartridge. It remains to be seen if my kids will return to it later. Currently they are fighting over "Number Raiders" a game I found on clearance, but one they initially dismissed because "it only has one game".』 『Recommended Age Range Pre-K to 1st Grade (4 to 7 years). (Not just for babies!) 『I teacher Kindergarten; and recently purchased this for my Kindergarten classroom. I have small group literacy activities for my kiddos to do in the morning, after they are finished (some may finish early), they have a variety of literacy and alphabet based independent activities they may choose. These blocks are a "special" privilege for those students who work hard during small group. These blocks are a favorite activity for my students! They can practice the beginning sounds of words and practice letter recognition. I highly recommend these for children 4-6 as well as babies and toddlers! I like the Ice Cream block, which has "sprinkles" to shake!』
(keeps his attention) 『My little boy is just getting interested in these blocks. They are too cute! He's learning to manipulate the block in his hands. The little things inside the blocks are adorable. Some spin, some twirl, some rock. A definate upgrade from the standard wooden blocks.』
(Better than I expected) 『I purchased Peek-A-Blocks for both my 1-year old niece and my 8-month old nephew. The nephew lives across the country, so I can't evaluate his opinion of the product. However, my 1-year old niece just loves these blocks. Her 5-year old sister loves them too. The younger niece can easily grab hold of the blocks, and she loves the bright colors. The older niece loves to stack them.
The blocks are much more interactive than I first thought they would be. Sure, some of the blocks have loose plastic balls within, and some items are mounted on bouncy springs. However, it's not obvious from the packaging that many other blocks have rotating bases, which allow items within to move around. For example, one block has a train that rotates in and out of a mountain tunnel. There are other nice touches. For example, tapping the fish block causes the fish within to appear as though they are swimming.
Lastly, I want to point out an initial hesitation I had about buying these blocks -- a hesitation which turned out to be of no real concern. Years ago, I bought a set of 6 peek-a-blocks for a friend's son. At that time, the blocks were sold in themed sets of 6 blocks (sports, machines, etc). More recently, Fisher Price did away with the smaller sets, replacing them with one large set of 26 blocks, each with a printed alphabet letter on one side. (C = car, D = duck, H = horse, etc.) Anyway, I initially hesitated buying the newer set of Alphabet Peek-A-Blocks, because I thought the alphabet letters would obstruct a child's ability to see the content of the block. However, as I have already mentioned, many blocks allow the contents to be rotated, such that the printed letter no longer blocks a child's view of the content within.
In concluding, I am very pleased with the purchase. The kids are too.

He absolutely LOVES this box and playmat, and even I was impressed.
It's durable and sturdy feeling. The corners zip up to form the box, zip down to flatten out, and those zippers also feel strong.
Better yet, the pictures are vivid and colorful. All the sides of the box have dino scenes my little guy stares at, and the playmat itself gives you a nice variety of environmental fun: a volcano, waterfalls, tracks leading to a dark cave (with eyes peering outside), trees, cliffs, rivers, and a tar pit. It's all flat, of course, but if you have of a number of smaller dinosaur sets, there's lot to do and enjoy on this playmat.
There is a lid and straps for carrying. The size is clearly and accurately represented in the picture of the child above.
