『I bought clifford for my 4yr's birthday. He loves the game... his only frustration, echo'd by my husband and I, is that when it asks for the player to "trace" the letters to practic writting, it is VERY sensitve to going outside of the lines and forces you to try and try again. That is difficult for a 4yr old. My husband and I had to concenrate as well on being able to trace simple letters due to the sensitivity of the game. I think that with time this will become less of an issue, but for a new writer, it is very frustrating. The games were fun and engaging and is is willing to keep picking it up to try again.

Overall and excellent game and introduction to reading and letters.』

(Disappointing for younger children)
『After purchasing the lunch food basket (which I would highly recommend) for my 8-month-old son, I was disappointed with the fruit and vegetable selection in this set. Unlike the lunch set, this set is mainly hard plastic (not chewable rubber). Also, the strawberries were too small and choking hazards. I have decided to put away most of these items until he is much older. For now, we will stick to the rubber foods.』

『I bought these for my 16 month old son for Christmas. They are good, but I was expecting better based on other reviews. A few items are made of harder plastic and a few of softer plastic. They are basicly life sized, with the exception of the lettuce and I think the apple is a bit small. Nothing was small enough that I felt it needed to be taken away until he is older. The coloration is a bit odd too, with some lighter areas. Maybe this is from the production, but it takes away from the naturalness. The pear's stem was broken when my son threw it on our tile floor and the tomato came with a dent in it. All that, however does not take away from the fact that my son likes to play with them and it has helped him to learn his fruits and veggies.』

『I purchased this play food for my son who is 18 months old. I was pleasantly surprised when it came. I thought some of the food would be small or made from thin plastic and would not last long. I was wrong. All the pieces are made from a hard plastic that seems very durable. The only small pieces are the strawberries so if your child likes to put stuff in their mouth it might be a good idea to take these away from them. I was also impressed with the quality of the little shopping basket. It is very sturdy and well made. I highly recommend this product and brand if you are looking for something that will last.』

『My son is very young, and he already knows all of his upper and lower case letters because of this puzzle. And he loves it!』

『I have been looking for a good set of upper and lower case letters for my son. I wanted a set like this one so he could recognize both together. For the most part, this set it great. Nice and colorful. Seems durable enough, my son hasn't been able to break any of the pieces (yet).

I only have a couple minor complaints. First, the lower case d and p are almost identical, even the same color. It would have been nice if they were different colors. Also, the lowercase i looks very similar to the lowercase l. There is very little distinction around the dot on the i.

Other than that, the set is adequate for what it's for. My 18 month old son can identify all of the uppercase letters and nearly all of the lowercase letters thanks to this toy.』

『The only real problem with this puzzle was the shape of the letters on it. I'm 30 years old and couldn't tell is the small b was a d or p or even a q etc... The W could be an M or E. Too confusing. I wish they had done some pattern or something on the letters to tell them apart. Also, with a big puzzle like this, it should of been magnatized! It's hard to pick up so many puzzles each time my 3 yr old feels like dumping them over! UGGG』

『Like the other M&D toys we have, this puzzle is very well-made. The size of the pieces are easy for my 2 yr old to handle. Prior to getting this for Xmas a few weeks ago, she already knew most of her UC letters, and already has learned 50-75% of the LC ones through playing with this puzzle. My only recommendation for improvement would be to reconstruct a couple of the lower case letters, such as "i" so you can easily see the dot above the short line, and to put a "tail" on the "q." Overall, a terrific toy and one I would purchase again.』

『I purchased this for my nephew's 3rd birthday. I gave to him a week early on Labor Day 2008 so he could play in it. All the kids had a blast. We were very pleased upon taking it out of the box how nicely constructed it is. It is not a cheap vinyl at all. Very strong material. So easy to set up. Great that it comes with the blower motor and a pack of balls. We put a thick drop cloth under it in case there were any rocks in the grass or anything and to also not get it dirty on the bottom. For the price, you just can't beat it! My 1.5 year old nephew hung out in the front section with all the balls while my 3 year old nephew jumped around in the back section. They both loved the basketball hoop. My 9 month old niece even loved sitting inside the ball pit. When the day was over, it packed up very nicely. I recommend purchasing a plastic container to keep everything in for easy traveling. This is a must have. What a great gift!!!』

(Great, except for the clothes)
『I love these dolls, but they are actually a wee big for some of the furniture in the Plan Toys Chalet. My only real complaint is the clothing. My daughter tries to dress and undress them, which is not something I recommend. The little girl's skirt is so wide it falls down, so the shirt really keeps it on. However, the shirt is made out of such cheap material that the side seams ripped the first time my daughter took it off the doll. The belts were almost immediately pulled off and lost. My daughter is not really the destructive type. It seems natural that small children would try to dress and undress the dolls, but it really does destroy the clothing.』

『The family is a great addition to Plan Toys Chalet Dollhouse. They are fairly easy to manipulate around the house. They stand up well with the little maneuvering of their feet. While they do fit on the furniture that came with the house, their frame does seem a little large for the scale of some pieces. For example, you really have to jam a kid into the lower bunk on the bunk bed to make him/her fit. Their clothing can also be a little problematic. The fabric bunches up depending on how you move them and the adult female doll and child male doll have clothing that falls off or down. All in all I would recommend them however.』

『This was my 3-yr-old's Christmas gift--along with the astronaut helmet--today's date is March 17 and he has worn it every day since Christmas Day. To say this gift has been loved is an understatement. My son is known all over town because of his constantly being an astronaut. I'm actually looking at replacement costumes as this one is coming apart at the seams; however, I don't blame the quality of the outfit. 『I do not recommend this product. By the end of the first day, one of the big wings had fallen off. Now all of the pieces (the runway, the heliopad, etc.) are dismantled. The "floors" are not level so the furniture slides off. I wish there would be a recall for a product that fails on so many levels. I have a Barbie Jumbo Jet from the 70s that my daughter plays with. Although you wouldn't think it's the most durable thing in the world, that old jet is just fine and this toy is scrap. They sure don't make 'em like they used to.』

It is actually a durable toy that my 4 year old son will play with too. The other day a neighbor fell on top of the jet and it was in pieces. The shower part is hard for him to use and the parts that the car drives through (the spounges and scrubers) are almost to small it is hard for my little one to push the cars through it.』
